came here via a promotion. went for a dessert-y bagel and cream cheese combo and it did not disappoint. ordered the Blueberry bagel with Blueberry cream cheese. normally i order savory bagels but couldn't resist going for an all out blueberry experience. the Blueberry bagel is subtle in flavor and scent but has the right amount of crust and chew without being overpowered by berry-ness. the real standout is the blueberry cream cheese which is the sweet tart cream cheese that tastes like blueberry compote in cream cheese form. glad I took a shot on this dessert-y bagel option as Brooklyn Bagel made good on both the quality of the bagel and outstanding-ness of the cream cheese. the fast friendly service—despite the constant flow of hungry customers—is a nice touch. there's a good amount of seating in a clean casual interior. if you need carbs, come here and eat.

On this NYC trip, we wanted to experience the famed NY bagels. We got to know about this place through a google search and the highly rated reviews were right. They have multiple locations in NYC; we went to the one in Chelsea. This is a small establishment but for bagel lovers, it has a huge selection of cream cheese spreads and bagels. We ordered an onion bagel topped with egg and garlic and herb cheese spread on it. The other one we ordered was a sesame bagel with vegetable spread. Both the bagels were big with a nice crispy-chewy crust and the flavorful spread added to the taste. The vegetable one was especially very good. The iced and the hot latte were fine too. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating but the seating was not enough for all the people in the store. We had to stand with our food before we could get a place to sit and eat. We absolutely loved this bagel place and would recommend it to anyone who visits NYC.

Love their bagels that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They give a generous portion of their carried selection of cream cheeses. I got their scallion cream cheese which is filled with scallions on a sesame bagel. Their iced coffee was good too

This is an iconic New York-style bagel place that you'll love immediately. It's small and cozy. If you manage to get a table, especially one by the window like I did, you'll have a perfect breakfast experience. First, they have a huge selection of bagels and a variety of spreads and fillings (eggs, salmon, etc.). You can have your bagel hot or cold, it's up to you. The coffee here is also good. Secondly, and equally important, the people there are cool. You'll see locals and city visitors, dressed in both fancy upscale attire and simple jeans and sneakers. There are young handsome guys and women over 60 reading books. I enjoyed observing the guests and being part of this wonderful crowd. It's a lovely place to start your day.

Best bagels in town! Be there early, as they sold out fast and lines get long. Or if you can, ditch the crowd and go there after 9:30am before 11:30am. But you risk not getting certain flavors. I ordered a mini bagel with lox spread (spread with chunks of salmon). Tasty. The mini size wasn’t so mini, it’s like a regular bagel elsewhere! No complaints there. Contactless payment available.

So phenomenal we went twice! Their bagels and spreads had the *perfect* texture and flavor, and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. We had an everything bagel both times with split scallion cream cheese and sundried tomato the first day, then veggie the second, and all of it was fantastic. Not a ton of seating (only about 9 tables for 2 people each and then a bar with a few stools), but folks generally go pretty fast so we were able to snag a place quickly. There’s not much more to say, honestly, they just have really, really good bagels! We wanted to try the rainbow one, so we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the city!

Looking for true NY bagel, that's fresh and delicious? In my opinion, the Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Co has one of the best bagels in all of NY! No matter what type of bagel you like, or what topping you want, if your in the mood for breakfast, or a bagel sandwich for lunch, they have something for you. As you walk by the deli case don't overlook the amazing variety of homemade spreads! The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best bagels I have ever had in my life. The place was packed the morning that we went, but we got in and out in less than 10 minutes. The options are overwhelming, but everything looked so so good. We ordered 2 breakfast bagels and they were outstanding.

I visited on a Monday morning at 10:15am. It was crowded but I managed to get a seat at the side counter. I ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese in an everything bagel. It was delicious. The ordering process was a bit confusing. I had to order at one counter, get a slip, and then order coffee and pay for the order at another counter. It took about 5 minutes to get my order. Not bad for a busy morning.

Loved their blueberry cream cheese. Got a plain bagel, toasted with blueberry cream cheese and it was amazing. The cream to bagel ratio was perfect and it was so good. I'm salivating thinking about this. Highly recommend to stop in for a bagel and cream cheese. I'd go back to try other versions as well as hot items on the menu. Staff was super sweet and order was made promptly.

Onion bagel toasted with scallion spread. Perfect, yummy. 🧅 🥯 😋🤤. Busy in the morning but the line moves fast. Line up on the left, put in your order, you get a receipt, continue to wait in line, get to the cashier and show your receipt and pay what you owe. Wait for your number to be called.

I know Montreal bagels are famous but I didn't realize New York bagels are as just as good if not better visiting Manhattan for the and this was the closest bagel shop. Must say very good service very big and tasty bagel maybe a little too much herb and garlic cream cheese. Pretty pricey but I guess you pay for quality

The bagel was fresh and delicious. They have variety of cream cheese 🥯 , everything was looking so tempting. Loved their cold brewed too. It was crowded in the morning, so we had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes. But it was worth the wait.

Went here on a Friday morning. Place was packed. But the line went very quickly and our food came out fast. I got the BK special (basically a Lox) and it was very good. Fiancé got the bacon, egg, and cheese and enjoyed it. Seating inside and out. I highly recommend!

Don’t let the name fool you – this spot is way more than just another bagel place in Manhattan. It’s got that extra something that sets it apart. Tried their crunchy sesame bagel and it was super fresh. And the combo? Fresh avo (not mashed up or anything) and top-notch Nova Scotia smoked salmon. It all came together for an amazing morning bagel. Definitely worth a try – it’s a cut above the rest!

Recommend blueberry and strawberry. Tofu is not very smooth, bkbagel classic is too salty, egg sandwich is ok. Overall tastes good, but I got wrong delivery order. I ordered egg bagel + pumpkin cream cheese and bialy + tofu strawberry, but got egg bagel + strawberry cream cheese and bialy + plain tofu

I ordered a copper on a blueberry bagel. It was $14.95; however, I don't think it was worth the price. I've tasted better smoke salmon bagels 🥯 that are way less than the price and this just wasn't doing it for it. I haven't tried the other bagel combos so maybe they are better?

Absolutely wonderful experience at Brooklyn Bagel. Had the classic and the Broadway. Both were toasted right and wonderfully crisp and chewy. Will be back maybe even tomorrow. 10 stars should cover it.

Wonderful fast moving bagel shop away from the midtown hustle. Bagels come in regular and mini. Pictured here is a ham egg and cheese on a toasted everything .Gets busy but you’ll get your food quick. You can do online orders but it’s usually faster just to come in and stand in line.

It’s a long line during the weekends, but it is definitely worth the wait. The bagels are simply amazing. I am a fan of the everything bagel toasted with tuna salad. Combine it with a fresh juice and you are good to go. Another good combo is the everything bagel toasted with the Nova salmon and cream cheese.

Amazing bagel!!! We had the bk classic with avocado and was amazing. Line was long but fast. Place inside was too noisy to eat there. They had many options and the bagel was huge. We had one to share.

10/10 recommend. I wanted to try other bagel spots while in NYC so I could compare, but these bagels were so good we came back twice during our trip. FOOD: ordered cinnamon raisin bagel and tried the scallion/bacon cream cheese, cinnamon raisin cream cheese, and the sun dried tomato cream cheese. All the flavors were super yummy and the bagel was perfect texture. SERVICE: great, friendly staff and a no-fuss atmosphere. OVERALL: will be back and would recommend.

Omgosh to die for! This was our first stop upon arrival to NYC and final stop before leaving again. The spread selection is amazing and the spread to bread ration is very generous. We tried 3 bagel flavours overall and I even went back for a plain salt bagel to take on the airplane it was just that good! The BKBagel classic was delicious too as a sandwich option. The coffee left a little to be desired but we weren’t there for the coffee! Will be back one day to try more for sure!

Bagels are nice. A good range of bagel options. Tuna salad sandwich is good. Foods are fresh and coffee is not too bad. Usually busy but can find a table and enjoy an chilled morning!

Great bagels and spread. I took away one star because I ordered an egg sandwich and they forgot the egg. But other than that, it was fantastic. Great oat milk chai.

I had the salt bagel with egg and it was delicious. One hundred times better than the salt bagel with egg from ARK Bagels down the street. The biggest reason it was better is the salt was much gentler. The salt was on both sides of the bagel instead of just on top, which was definitely good. There was plenty of salt but not too much. The bread was soft and delicious. There was enough egg. Maybe one more egg would've been ideal. There was a bit too much bread for me, but I only got egg. If I'd gotten other stuff then maybe the bread to ingredients ratio would've been perfect, so I still give it a 5/5 (you can't be 100% perfect all of the time, it was still very very delicious, I'm just trying to eat less bread personally). Looking forward to trying their other bagels.

Delicious! I tried the honey bacon sriracha mini bagel (it wasn’t so mini, it was pretty big!) and a strawberry bagel. I could only finish half but it was very tasty and soft. Service was fast and thankfully there were tables to sit at inside to enjoy. I can see why this place is famous. I wish I’d come back here one more time before I left New York!

This popular bagel shop was recommended to us. We always have to get a bagel when visiting NYC and this was our choice on our most recent trip. We actually tried to come here on our last trip, but we ordered online and found out afterward that it wouldn't be ready for 2 hours. We had to cancel the order because we had something else going on. So this time, we planned a pickup ahead of time with our order. This turned out not to be necessary because it wasn't that busy when we got there a bit before 9 on a Sunday. We got the Srirachacha. It was delicious and everything I want from a NY bagel. I'd highly recommend it. I'd come back for sure!

The tofu veggie spread is oil free vegan (whole food plant based) and delicious! Oil-free eaters should avoid the bagels with toppings though as the whole wheat everything bagel I got had a layer of oil on it.

10/11/21 update: well the holiday line was a bit long, but not too bad. Still great bagels! The whitefish is still good... got a pic of fresh bagels coming out of the oven! Good bagels and spreads. Love the whitefish salad. Coffee is good as well. Two of the dozen bialys we bought were burnt on the sides, so just look before you leave ;) Certainly will be back... Many more times.

Nice heft to my scallion lox bialy. The everything bagel with cream cheese was great too! Friendly service even with the rush.

I'm trying to be impartial since it's a bagel shop and I shouldn't judge it off my Broadway/whitefish bagel sandwich. It's too salty. It's honestly kinda overwhelming. The onions and tomatoes are not strong enough to balance it out at all. Would probably enjoy it if I could wash out the salt with a drink or something. Maybe if I had chosen a raisin bagel for some sweetness. The sandwich is a 2.5. The bagel is a 4. I gave it a 4 since it's a bagel shop and not a whitefish salad shop.

Sitting in a blocked off area right in the street was an experience, and eating my first bagel in New York was enjoyable. I’m only giving this four stars because of the online ordering system. The earliest pickup time they allowed me to choose was 7:30am even though they opened earlier. So I walked around and decided to go inside and look at 7:10am and my order was already done, sitting in a bag. It was toasted, but already cooled down and I was there 20 minutes early! It still tasted really good and was worth the value, but I wonder what it would have been like i could have had it fresh?

I visited NYC this past weekend & my friend took me to this bagel shop. The bagel was sooo good and so was the cream cheese. The cream cheese was not as creamy and other places but the flavor was spot on. I also got a hot chocolate and it was delicious. Very good and not too sweet. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit.
