Joe Coffee Co is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. They serve up amazing coffee, have the best pastries and baked goods, and even offer breakfast tacos from King David Tacos. I love their seasonal rosemary maple latte. When I’m feeling some breakfast, my go to is the Moms Migas breakfast taco.

While I enjoy a good coffee shop atmosphere. I felt like the staff was having a pow wow about customers the previous day before. Overhearing snickering and talking about customers in a negative manner is really unprofessional. I hope that they understand that they are working and to gossip isn't part of the job description.

Nice and cozy Joe Coffee location. Wifi, seating and bathroom/restroom for customers.

This is such a beautiful café! Unfortunately only outside seating for now. They have a pick up window which makes it extremely easy. Very friendly and fast service. They have a great variety on their menu as well as a few vegan desserts. I enjoyed my cinnamon toast crunch latte as well as my vegan chocolate doughnut. Street parking was easy to find as well.

Good spot to work and hang. It’s a chain but doesn’t feel like one! Great location too

This review has more to do with their payment system than with staff or service. I stopped in to get a quick scone and nothing else. Since the work involved was minimal, I pressed no tip, but the system (which has $2 as its default) charged me $2 anyway. I don't mind tipping when there is work involved, but when I press "no tip" and am charged anyway, it leaves an incredibly bad taste in my mouth.

Ducked in here to hide from the chill. I’m fussy with my chai lattes but the one here was fantastic! Strong chai flavour and just the right amount of sweet. A very nice and welcoming place.

My go-to place to grab a coffee and work. Its got a good couple tables indoors and alot of ppl work or read there. Some chairs and tables outside too if you wanna sunbathe. It can get pretty busy but I am always able to find a spot. They got wifi and outlets to charge, so huge plus!

Vanilla iced latte was delicious! However, I found the Iced Matcha Latte to be a bit lacking in flavor.

Joe coffee is very good, but the people who work there are even better. Meet the Awesome Anna!

A perfect cafe for reading. It is a small, cozy cafe. Quieter ambience than other cafes. Serves absolutely fantastic rosemary maple latte - a must try! Great sides such as chocolate croissants and different tea breads. Has a quaint small outdoor sitting for summer and spring.

The quality has gone down. It probably depends on which barista is making the drinks at any given moment, but I’ve had bad luck as of lately. The barista doesn’t recognize the common espresso+milk drink names that are not strictly on the menu, which is the first red flag. Then they make no attempt at latte art, just sort of dump the milk into the cup and off you go. This used to be one of the coffee shops that I would consider professional, but perhaps it is no longer. I guess the only thing that separates it from Starbucks at this point is the quality of beans. There are still some good Joe coffee shops here and there. The Joe Pro shop on 21st st usually has good baristas.

Ordered a coffee, and then decided to add an additional shot of espresso while they were still making it. Instead of charging me for a coffee WITH espresso, the staff rang it up as two separate orders (ie, an extra $3.50 for the espresso shot?!?). When I asked if it would have been a lot cheaper to ring it up as a single order, the answer was yes. I asked if they could simply void/return the first transaction (I was paying in cash) and then re-ring it up, and the answer was no (keep in mind, no line of people behind me). $10 for a mid-sized coffee. Lazy, dishonest staff with no integrity nor care for the customer. Their beans/ground coffee look good with their descriptions (ie 'honey, clementine, etc), and it is flavorful, but short on the caffeine factor. From now on, I'll stick to Porto Rico, just a stone's throw away on Bleecker. Better coffee, greater selection, better prices, incredibly better staff. Don't let the smiles of the Joe Coffee staff fool you - you are here to serve them

The space is a claustrophobic nightmare and the coffee was stale. Not to mention the young, snippy employees touching their face/nose/masks then touching your drink.. All the want of being “sanitary” yet you watch them for a few minutes and see that’s not the case.

Got a simple plain hot americano. Coffee had a slight bad taste to it, like the machine hasn't been cleaned properly. Service was friendly enough and the prices are standard for the area. I don't see myself returning. When paying over $5 for a cup of coffee I expect near perfection or at least a good flavor.

Very nice turmeric latte! Also super friendly people and a very nice, laid-back vibe.

Went in for a pick me up this past weekend and honestly had the best experience. Both baristas were super friendly (the one with sparkly rainbow glasses in particular - rockin’ those sweet specs, btw) and the iced mocha was great. I have no reason to go back to this place bc I’m not in that part of town much, but will definitely pop in again when I’m in the area!

Coffee's very good for take out, but do not go there if you think you might have to use the restroom before/while/after you enjoy your drink. They won't let you use it.

Delicious chai tea latte with almond milk and great ambience. We were able to sit outside on the benches and it was really cute and picture perfect.
