Coffee was excellent but it was fairly crowded so finding a spot to sit was a challenge. The lighting and plants were superb though

I walked pass by chance and interested with the word “THE FRESHEST COFFEE IS SERVED HERE” signage so I did try. Orderd black americano. Staffs are nice. The shop has a wide space for people come to chill out and working. They will ask you if you need a wifi or not but I did not stay for long so I did not ask for it.

A different type of coffee shop. I would say it’s a great place to study/work. There’s no rush to leave, only enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and beautiful sunlight.

My favorite cafe in Williamsburg to get some work done. The coffee is excellent, fast and friendly service, the wifi is fast, and the space is has lots of natural sunlight and spaces to sit. I think the only drawback is that it doesn’t have a ton of electrical outlets. If you need to charge it might be tough. Other than that, it’s definitely a favorite!

Fantastic latte and espresso drinks. Beautiful location and great vibes will definitely make you enjoy your coffee even more. It's been a while since I tasted a latte as good as this Devoción's one. Service was great as well. Will definitely come back when in the neighborhood.

Devocion offers an enchanting ambiance that makes it a standout coffee shop. Its interior is splendid, exuding an air of tranquillity that complements the coffee experience. The staff welcoming, adding a personal touch to the service. The coffee is nothing short of delicious, and the baked goods looked great. The only negative is that I cannot stand when coffee shops have bad lids and you have coffee on your hand before even leaving the café.

love this coffee shop! the vibe is great (can get loud in case you wanna come here to work), and the coffee and pastries are spectacular. the sparkling cascara is unique and a must-try here. it’s made out of the outer section of a coffee fruit and contains only a quarter of the amount of caffeine as coffee so it’s a great option for the afternoon!

Not just my favorite Café, also probably one of my most favorite places in New York. Had planned on getting a coffee to go to head to the nearby Domino Park, but decided to stay purely for the vibe of the place. This Café in one corner of Brooklyn was all things New York. Loved the coffee, energy, spending some time working and people watching. Super friendly staff! Amazing place 🤌🏼

Found this Williamsburg spot in the neighborhood. Iced aromatica was divine. The papaya was such a nice treat at the end of the beverage. Couldn’t help but order the cold brew and it was lovely. Great spot and love their mission too. ❤️✨

I had really high expectations of this place but I was left a little disappointed. They had lots of pastry options which was great, I had the guava and cheese croissant which was the highlight and honestly amazing lol. We didn’t really like the banana bread. Service was good & fast, the baristas were very helpful as well. I ordered a green tea but the water was beyond hot that it made the tea extremely bitter and I couldn’t drink it. I went with my friend and the atmosphere in the place was really weird? It wasn’t a normal cafe, it was packed with solo people on laptops working. It was completely quiet and felt like I was in a library. Nobody was talking at all. There were no seats available inside or outside so we went to domino park. The coffee is amazing though so if you are in the area and are looking solely for great coffee to go and maybe a guava croissant lol this is the place!

Really beautiful coffee shop to start off. The place is quite large, with the roasting equipment in sight as you enter. Plenty of seating, I found a spot open as I walked in. I asked what they had on pourover and decided on a gesha they had. Really tasty brew. Fruity and floral notes, definitely worth the splurge for it. The baristas are busy here but very friendly and helpful as well.

Oat latte is good. Chocolate croissant is a home run! Late for guava croissant, need to be here earlier for it. Perfect vibe. Seats are a bit short for the crowd.

This coffee shop is quiet (no music) and the floor plan is spacious inside. Great place to get work done as others have mentioned but not a lot of seating available. There is a shaded area of chairs & tables directly outside. Love how much natural light comes through from the wide skylight above. It was easy to order and there was a moderate wait (of course, not a problem).

Today was my first time at this place and I loved it, the coffee it’s delicious and the place is beautiful. They have different choices of coffees and also you can buy small coffee bags to bring home😊 The music wasn’t Colombian at all but anyway I loved the energy and the kind of music that they were playing.

Devocion is a beautiful cafe to help satisfy your coffee craving when you're in Williamsburg! The interior is stunning and the space is often full. What I got: - Guava Croissant Final Thoughts: I was just passing through for a quick treat which was fine because there were no free seats inside or on the patio. I've come in the past and also had to wait a little bit and jump at the first available table. I tried the guava croissant and though it's a bit of a splurge (especially when converted to Canadian 😩), it was so good! Incredibly flakey so be careful when taking a bite because I made a mess! The inside was soft and the filling was delicious.

Cappuccino is one of the best I’ve ever had. Croissants - especially the leek Parmesan - are delicious. Love the plant wall, ambience, and vibe. Limited indoor seating that fills up very quickly. Some outdoor seating available, but also limited. A worthwhile stop while in Brooklyn!

Incredible coffee! Great flavor and great price. Also, the guava croissants are delicious. I'd recommend the sparkling cascara for a sweet juice-like drink with not too much caffeine, or the nitro cold brew for a stronger coffee.

I'm a big fan of coffee, and I've been to a lot of coffee shops in my time. But Devoción Coffee is one of the best and has a very unique concept to their operation. They source their beans directly from Colombia, like many coffee houses. However, where they differ is they buy directly from the farms and have them ship it directly to them so that it can be roasted in-hoise and in your cup within 10 days of harvest. The result is a cup of coffee that is full of flavor and aroma. Plus, the latte art is always a delightful touch. In addition to the great coffee, Devoción has a lovely interior. The space is bright and airy, with a large skylight that lets in natural light. Really creates a welcoming, almost backyard like atmosphere. I will definitely be returning and will be ordering their beans for my at-home coffees.

Absolutely incredible. Increíble! The staff mostly spoke Spanish but their English was perfect. The manager was very aware of the details and able to help with a positive enthusiastic attitude. The food was incredible. It was timely and well prepared. The drinks, specifically the old fashions and manhattans were incredible. 5 stars.

The best coffee on New York I've had so far. Had the Cappuccino oatmilk. Ratio of milk to espresso was spot on. Definitely a plus for them to use Oatly instead of the Califia farm oatmilk. Strong and fresh coffee

Quality coffee served up in a beautiful cafe with tons of natural light. I love that you can see the magic happening within the roastery through the window as you come inside.

We ordered a latte and a special drip, which had milk chocolate and strawberry flavor notes to it. The latte was bold and balanced. I found the special drip to be too fruity for my taste but it was still ok. Seating was limited. Perhaps there would be more availability on a weekday. My friend tried sitting on one of the tall bar chairs by the wall while waiting for our orders and he said it was comfortable. Anyway, people kept coming in and the line was all the way up to the roasting area so we decided to just take our coffees to go.

Amazing place for coffee. Price is reasonable and the decoration is so beautiful! So many people waiting in line for coffee from early in the morning to the afternoon… if you don’t mind the wait, this is a perfect coffee place for you.

Beautiful space, coffee is good, but NO WIFI on weekends 🥲 which is a bit sad. Would only come here again if I’m tryna read a book.

This place is so beautiful! The coffee shop really resembles the beauty of Colombia and the quality of the coffee definitely shows the work that is put into producing it. I personally loved the alfajores; they look like they would be hard on the outside but they’re actually very soft and sweet. While the coffee shop has a lot of space, I wouldn’t recommend using it as a study space unless you plan on attending during the week; in the weekend it’s very crowded and there is no wifi.

In town for a film festival, I asked someone working the fest where to get good coffee. She was very excited to share about this place. Absolutely excellent hot latte. Barista was very friendly, wonderful garden wall. Only wish there were more seating, but any place that's good is going to be tough to get a seat. Will definitely be back.

Great coffee in a specious space. There is not much seating but we were able to find a table as it was very early in the morning. The table was a bit dirty but the staff was very helpful and attentive, they cleaned it right away after we told them. Good option for a delicious coffee if you are in the neighborhood.

These people are stuck up about their coffee, but it makes sense why. The coffee is amazingly fresh, just like they advertise. The guava croissant was crispy and had delicious guava paste inside. The atmosphere is delightful with high ceilings and natural light. The only downside is the baristas are not the friendliest. We tried to order like it was a Starbucks, but they don't have all of the mixins like vanilla or hazelnut that would overpower the flavor of their delicious coffee. They looked at us like we were dumb when we tried to order that. Definitely worth coming back for this coffee though, and we'll know better how to order next time!

Excellent coffee company. The barista was so good that you just know not to talk to them directly. Tons of seating options that were all nearly full(found this place on a list of highly rated remote work spots). Huge plant wall and skylight for an incredible vibe. I happened to meet the owner who explained how they differentiate themselves by shortening the time from origin to cup in just 10 days. That's fresh.

Best coffee in Brooklyn! We even brought two bags of the beans to bring back because their latte was just so good!!! After trying their coffee you will know why they are so popular~❤️❤️❤️

Calm place treated by youth mostly as a working open space to study/work online. Small roastery right after the entrance makes feeling of high quality coffee. Not a lot of tables to seat.

Phenomenal espresso/coffee. Very popular and therefore very busy place. Has a big interior with a lot of lounging space but it’s usually packed with people working on their laptops so can be hard to get a spot. They do some pastries for food (croissants, etc) , but very limited assortment. All are very well done tho.

The hot latte was poorly made, it is by far the worst latte I have ever tried, half of it was foam and it was so cold (not even room temperature)! Also the smell of the place was bad.. I was really excited to visit the place, I even recommended it to my friends before trying it (I was sold by the look of the place).. If you are going to try it I would recommend not going for the latte whatsoever.. Two stars only for the decoration and the staff are nice..

  • 5/5 Lucia G. 2 years ago on Google
Cappuccino tasted really good. Surprisingly, the size of the cup is pretty small though, for US standards. In this case, also for the price paid, a larger size would have been more appropriate. The place is cozy and has plenty of natural light. Be prepared to make a line to order all that you might want to have. Otherwise, you’ll have to line up again. Overall, it is a nice place to come and enjoy if you are not in a rush.

To be fair I had my wife try my cup of coffee and we both agree this was absolutely garbage. My cup of coffee lack flavor, aroma and the 100% Colombian part. The latte comes in a smaller cup but no lid. The dispenser they have for the sugar is the wrong type of dispenser. Another customer was actually next time saying the same thing. I strongly recommend the owner to do quality control.
