I like the place so much. So warm and comforting inside. My coffee and pastry were so good. The staff were nice and welcoming. Big space, you wont run out of space to stay in.

Must visit coffee shop. The service is exactly what I have come to expect in NYC - friendly, polite, informative, but not sugary. On recommendation, I tried the Round Hill Guatemala espresso (americano, hot)- it did not disappoint. Pairs beautifully with summer fruit - I had the recommended blueberry muffin. The coffee had the brightness expected of a Latin American coffee, fruit/berry notes, and subtle cocoa hints with a refreshing finish. Clean, crisp, and perfect for a NYC humid summer day. The blueberry muffin sits between a classic muffin and cake with a moist crumb. The balanced sweetness highlights the blueberries and brings out the fruitiness of the espresso.

A very clinical Wall Street vibe to this place. Nothing special, in and out with as minimal fuss as possible. If this is your daily caffeine shop then it probably serves the purpose, if you’re looking for more of a third wave cafe that delivers speciality coffee then you’ll need to go elsewhere. Coffee - 7.6: a mellow cup, put another shot in there we might just have something respectable. Little flavour but the milk work is of a good quality.

Black Fox is my go-to place for coffee in the neighbourhood. Love their great quality coffee and ever so polite service even in the middle of the FiDi morning rush. It’s a lot quieter at weekends, I love to grab a seat on a Sunday afternoon with a good book.

New York City had been my home for many years. Black Fox also have been my top recommendation for nearly just as long. Revisiting the city again, it's so comforting to know they are still brewing fantastic coffee with delicious food. And the staff are still highly skilled and offering great hospitality after all these years of busy hours and morning rushes. In the shop, you'll also find fresh retail coffee from Coffee Collective, Square Miles as well as their own label. I may not envy the high roller lifestyle of wall street, but I envy the fact they have Black Fox.

This is one of the best cappuccino I ever had, we been here a few times. Is always good & consistent. The place is big and there is a lot of seating. Also, the staff is super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try something else! :)

Great coffee, I didn’t have any food but it looked fresh and delicious. Fast service, I went on a Saturday morning and there was no line. The vibe is chill, the location is ok, not great views but the people watching on the outside bench is fun.

Upscale Coffee Place ! The line can be extra long and it takes time to get your order. However baristas really care about your coffee and this place always spotlight different beans from various locations ( South or Central America). Really superior coffee and lattes, iced or hot drinks are always a hit. As the location has great vibes, it can be challenging if you need sitting for 4 as folks lounge around. You can take your coffee to go but as it is a popular spot, this can take 15+ minutes all in as you wait to place your order and then again at the counter. Definitely recommend it if you are not in a hurry also offer light food options which look compelling but slightly expensive

I've only walked past this cafe, so I decided to try it out today. Black Fox Coffee is one of the cafes that has both a variety of drink options and pastries. They also offer salad bowls, toast, and sandwiches, which the staff bring them to your seat with the number! I love how they recognize the customer once entry and the emotional connection they build with each one of the customers. I believe I had the most delicious decaf latte in New York so far, and their Farro bowl tasted so good. The cafe's atmosphere is the best in Fidi, in my opinion, with different seating options and the spacing of the tables. However, the cafe doesn't have Wi-Fi, so if you're coming with your laptop, then probably use your data or offline setting!^^

I’m a coffee snob! This place was GREAT! The line was long but moved fast. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The space is small but there are plenty of seats to sit at. The Han and cheese croissant was tasty too. Close to the hotel, so I will go back!

Coffee is really great, but they need a bit more patience and let their black teas steep longer. Food is really good, but pricey. $23 for avocado toast with bacon. Yikes!

Absolutely incredible service and delicious food. I have tried quite few breakfast items; they’ve all exceed my expectations. The service is fast and the atmosphere is very vibrant yet laidback. I highly recommend

The coffee is fine, but I’ve gotten four different flavors of latte over the past few days and they all taste the same! So if you like sweet coffee or flavors, definitely ask for lots of extra (or just go to Starbucks). And the coffee is not that hot. Also, the breakfast burrito was weird, mostly potato and spicy salsa, neither of which I like, so that was a surprise! (When you order ahead, you can’t take them off, and it’s described as having bacon and avocado too but it does not.)

We ordered three different teas and received teapots with water but no tea leaves or tea bags inside. There was so little hot water that it barely filled a cup. The taste was almost imperceptible, indicating the bartender was in a significant hurry.

Was looking for something quick and close to my hotel. I was directed here by the staff and figured I'd get a packaged sandwich and cup of coffee since it was a coffee shop. To my surprise the menu had a few items that caught my attention (steak and eggs). I was hesitant at first but watched the kitchen prepare a few items and felt comfortable ordering. I got the steak an eggs which came with eggs over medium (perfectly made) steak (sliced & well seasoned) both over a slice of sourdough bread .. had a side of breakfast potatoes which were the right balance of seasoning, a little crunch outside and soft inside. I also had a normal cup of black coffee (but is was smooth and bold). The staff was very kind and service was quick. Happy to write this as I work through my day. Ill be back tomorrow. How pleasant it was to thank me by name and open the door for me as I left with my order.

Great space with very good coffee. The Colombian filter coffee was good. The place was just a little cold. I loved the fact they offer James Hoffman books.

love this place! Great for a quick coffee or tea but equally nice to hang out with some breakfast sammies…the lunch gets little pricey on the food side. Everyone is super nice on staff and I like that they will come find you if youre getting your coffee to stay, you don’t have to wait and listen for your name. Great little spot definitely recommend!

Disappointed… just wanted to try the food this time. I ordered the lox omelette and it was too salty and with a piece of eggshell. The sanitation of eating seat area to be improved, flies were around while eating. Otherwise it’s a lovely place for instagram. Coffee is just fine.

I was glad and happy that I already have the energy to work because the coffee and the foods that I eat here were very good and yummy. The waiter was very good and accommodating towards me. Besides, he served my order properly and left the word to enjoy. The shop was also a very good place to chill and stay. It was clean, stylish, and modern. Worth it!

Cute little coffee shop off the beaten path. Croissants were home made crispy and the bacon egg, cheese croissant sandwich was amazing! The atmosphere is industrial farmhouse. Outside seating available.

I stayed in a downtown area in NYC and went to this coffee shop every day to grab breakfast and coffee. Their brew is delicious! I loved the lax scramble too. Nice little spot near Wall Street
