Their NY cheesecake is to die for, one of the best! They have a great array of smaller confections - cannolis, mini custard fruit tarts, slices of cakes, as well as whole cakes. Fantastic dessert options - definitely will be returning to try out different ones!

I heard rumors about the top three cheesecake shops in New York, so I went there early in the morning. Unfortunately, the cafe opened around noon, so I took out cakes and cookies to taste. Mainly the cakes were delicious, but the eclairs and cannolis were more ordinary than expected. Among the displayed products, the diamond baci was tasty, so I bought a strawberry shortcake. The taste was decent and the ingredients were fresh, but I couldn’t say it was incredibly delicious compared to Whole Foods. When I bought the cake, they gave me some free cookies, which was generous.

We ordered one mini cannoli vanilla flavored, one mini eclair, and one mini Napoleon. They were all great! Just what you need without going overboard. I don't really like cannolis but this one was good. I love eclair's and this one was good. I really love Napoleon's and this one was a little different from normal one. They have a sponge cake as one of or two of the layers. And it was soaked in liquor. Not bad but I would like to try to have one of their big ones if it's more like a classic ones. I'll have to check it out before I buy it. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere is really cool and old school a lot like an old bakery I used to go to in New Jersey in the 80s.

If you are on a sugar free or low sugar diet and you are dying to have some cheese cake than this is your lucky spot. Their cheese cake is to die for. Also the place is located in cool neighborhood in the east side, definitely in my plan to go back to try the variety of pastries they make. They are rated one of the best places to eat cheesecake for the simple reason that they real are the #1 spot. So don’t hesitate to stop by and indulge yourselves.

It was a beautiful bakery. I got a slice the Italian Ricotta Cheesecake and a creamy dessert called the Anatella. They have so many baked goods to choose fromthat it was almost overwhelming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again.

Veniero’s Pastry is a historical place that has been serving delicious desserts since 1894. It is known for its cheesecakes, which are creamy, rich, and smooth. The cheesecakes come in various flavors, such as strawberry, chocolate, and more. The pastries are fresh, handmade, and beautifully decorated. The cafe has a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with chandeliers, mirrors, and paintings. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is fast and efficient. Veniero’s Pastry is a great place to enjoy a sweet treat with your friends or family. It is one of the best Italian bakeries in New York City.

Great vibes and environment. One of the best cheesecakes I’ve eaten. Perfectly fluffy and creamy and the flavor was on point. Make sure to ask for half of lump of vanilla in the coffee if you like a vanilla latte as it was sweet enough to send any man into a diabetic coma. The cheesecake more than made up for it.

Open every single day of the year, Incredible pastries (including mini ones) at great prices, huge selection (cakes, cake slices, coffee, gelato, cookies, cannoli, tiramisu etc), ample seating, good service. Some gluten free and few dairy free options. One of the best places in NYC to order cakes for events that are great value ($50 for thick 10'') and great taste. (Good online website and they deliver in the tri-state area) We ordered two cakes, chocolate fudge mousse (delicious, smooth, dense and rich) and coconut cake (great flavor and nice coconut cream between the sponges). Nearly all individual slices and pastries we tried were also good (cannoli was a bit disappointing). Gelato was incredibly creamy, rich and flavorful but there were only few options ($3 one scoop, $5 for 2 scoops).

A very long queue awaited us as we arrived at the pasticceria. It took about 20 minutes to get into the shop. Only offering take away, pickup or deliveries at the moment. The cheesecake were marvellous. I would highly recommend this stop to anyone who wants a taste of New York cheesecake.

Packaging is a big issue. I bought some for holidays for my office . By the time it reached the destination, all the pieces were upside down, smooshed . Clearly these are very delicate pastries , you can just put them an empty box without support next together and hope for the best . They should really invest in a layer like some chocolate boxes will have to keep the items separate from each other. On top of it, employee did not take his time to put 2 boxes of pastries flat at the bottom of the bag and noticed they were tilted from get-go. Close to 100 dollars with the tip I paid for 2 boxes and look at the picture how they turned out. It was an embarrassing holiday treat for my work. They tasted great but it was a huge disappointment how they looked.

This place has so many pastries cakes, and sherbet Ice cream. The mini pastries and nice bites sized and you can order a few of them to try different ones. They even have full size cakes and they can cater to parties.

Beautiful cozy warm atmosphere, under a beautiful stained glass ceiling. We had cappuccinos and lobster tails along with a Napoleon. The lobster tails were flaky and delicious, the Napoleon was a bit too sweet, but then again it was my fault for not knowing which Napoleon I was ordering. We picked up a 10 inch Tiramisu as well, and the family loved it! It was delicious. Definitely come in for a quick coffee and cake, won’t be disappointed.

We ordered from this place since we really craved for the NY Cheesecake. We ordered for slices of Zuppa Ingles which was fine, Black forest - nice, plain cheesecake and marble cheesecake- cheesecakes were fine. Texture was good. we missed the crust in the cheesecakes though. The marbled cheesecake hardly had any chocolate flavour in in. It tasted similar to the plain cheesecake. Some more of the chocolate marble in the cake would have been nice. Or just showed on top not much inside. The packing wasn’t really that nice. We ordered for delivery. Each slice was placed in a parchment sheet and all placed in a box together. Looked quite messy and wasn’t as great. Individual boxes put in a bigger box would’ve been much better

Very busy usually all hours of the day and night especially during holidays. Take a number for takeout. Dining area is first come first serve. 5 - Value 5/5. This place is definitely on the expensive side but with that being said they use only the best ingredients and everything here is delicious. Hadn't been here to sit in cafe in a long time am happy to report this legendary spot is still wonderful and refreshingly looks the same! I love that! Desserts were all delicious and fresh. Was my birthday last night and waiter sang to me, very sweet! Worth waiting on line that moved quickly. Ricotta cheesecake is my fav.

Best cheesecake in the world and well worth a visit! We came over from the UK and were desperate to try New York cheesecake once before we leave - this has been so worth it! We met up with American family members and they agreed. Such a great little gem, full of character and very friendly staff and the most amazing coffee (try the one with kaluah and baileys) and cheesecake 😊😘

This place is a fantastic dessert spot! 🍰 Veniero's Pasticceria & Caffe has an endless selection of pastries 🥐, cakes 🎂 (which you can customize), sweets 🧁, and dessert 🍪 - the variety is really unbelievable! Lines can get long - so plan ahead! Ambience 🎶 is great and staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly! I wish I came here earlier!

Chocolate lava cake is very good. After i order they bring the cake just in 5 minutes. Super fast service for a lava cake. I do not like their ricotta cheesecake it has some weird sweet taste in it. Next time I prefer to go with traditional cheesecake.

I'm usually not a dessert person, but now I'm a Veniero person. Veniero's Pasticceria is a gem! Their pastries are divine, with an array of flavors and textures that satisfy every sweet tooth. The charming ambiance and friendly staff make it a must-visit in NYC. A dessert lover's paradise! Going here after Sunday dinner on a rainy evening was a true NYC movie-ish vibe.

Absolutely fabulous as always. To sit down for some dessert, a drink, or coffee head to the back to be seated and don’t forget a box to go on the way out. I’ll take one of everything but unfortunately that’s not an option. Would recommend trying a slice of the Italian cheesecake and New York cheesecake and Sicilian to compare for your favorite.

Everything looked and tasted amazing! It was pretty busy for 8:30pm on a Saturday. Service was a little slow. But the overall atmosphere made up for the delays. The Mocha Espresso cake and Marble Cheesecake were perfect! Would go back to NYC just for these desserts!

I recently started watching 'The Sopranos' and this naturally sent me in search of an Italian bakery. I've been to a couple since I moved here and hadn't encountered anything mind blowing up until now. I first tried Veniero's tiramisu cake which was great don't get me wrong but I knew this place had better things in store so I returned for a classic cannoli and cream horn and consider that one of the finest decisions of my lifetime. People. The best of both of those things I've ever had. Both were perfectly textured, not stale in the slightest and the FLAVORS my GOD. The vanilla cannoli filling has a depth from citrus and spices and the cream horn was light and beautiful-both were so remarkable it was as if they had been sculpted by angels and gifted to us mortals by the gods. Honestly I'm not sure we deserve this place but my god am I glad that we have it. Go there. Get things. Let them make sense of this knot of a world. Oh yes, also the interior is beautiful and the line moves quickly and the staff are all very nice.

Was looking for the best New York cheesecake and am pleased to say I found it at Veniero’s! (Thanks for recommendation Reddit) My takeaway slice melted in my mouth, was perfectly balanced (not too sweet) and had a lovely soft and fluffy consistency. Way better than Junior’s. This is proper cheesecake. Hope I can visit sometime again soon! 🇦🇺

There is a wide selection to choose from. The prices are reasonable. The sweets were very tasty. The place is very organized. There is a ticket system. When your ticket gets called, you place your order. I found it very convenient to decrease chaos. 10/10 I would go back again.

Everything in this place is simply WOW! 🤩 It's a challenge to know what to choose, because everything looks so yummy, both desserts and drinks. I had not seen that a place had coffee with alcohol and here you can find it, inspired by different countries. But the real gem is their desserts, which you won't know which one to try. This time we chose a cheesecake with chocolate and a cake (I don't remember the name), both delicious! Everyone there was very friendly. And the place makes the experience charming, because it's as if you entered a time machine. If you come to NY, you should definitely stop by! ❤️

Dining-in is definitely the best experience— The place is so beautiful and classy with its colorful interior. Fruit tarts were ok, but probably could be better if fruits were in season. I also wasn’t expecting the tart base to be thin spongey cake. The cheesecake is good, recommended.

Great place in little Italy to get Italian cookies. Stopped in and was pleased to see there was no wait. Got two different kind of cookies to try and both were excellent. Would recommend if you're looking for some sweet treats.

Veniero's is one of my all time favorite bakeries. I have been coming here for over a decade and absolutely love the ricotta cheesecake, it is out of this world. Everytime I'm in the city , I do all I can to make the pilgrimage to Veniero's for my ricotta cheesecake and a great hot chocolate!!!

Simply the best bakery and cafe in the city! Robert is a gracious host and his pride in ownership is apparent the minute you set eyes upon the beautiful storefront! The best cannoli and cappuccino you can get! I send everyone I know heading to NY there! Keep Rocking Robert!!

An old school Italian pastry shop with a huge variety of delicius cakes and desserts. Came for the tartufo, was not disappointed. Great for takeouts too, just need to order ahead around popular holiday celebrations.

This place should be a Landmark, They've perfected what they do! Strawberry short cake is a go to on birthdays for us. The Cheesecake is also a win, it's a bit on the denser side.

This place is an institution just by name. It also gets bragging rights for being in business since 1894. I've been coming to this bakery for as long as I can remember...30+ years. While I don't come often, it always has a special place in my heart. It was my first taste of Italian pastries and specialty coffee. It was also my first taste of tartufo. Many food firsts. My kids came with me for the first time as I wanted to introduce them to the Historical place. We were lucky to have been seated in the Venetian room with the beautiful painted ceiling that resembles stained glass. The copper tiles are magnificent in completing the look. Over the years it's become a tourist trap and then some but the goodies served here are well worth the visit whether you're new in town or have been a resident for years. It's a must try even if for the simple fact to say you've tried it. My kids enjoyed the desserts they ordered and was so excited seeing the extensive menu of 200+ desserts. We even bought a black and white cookie to go (for later). They are sold shrink wrapped in the bakery for takeout. The Cannoli, the fruit tarts and Cheesecake are a must, gelato desserts are fun, and the Affogato, an espresso and ice cream dessert that just works. Your choice of ice cream (vanilla or coffee). Delizioso. * Muah *

Wow! There are so many other traditional old school bakeries around my town and they all just taste tired or long past their prime cutting corners. This place reminds me that a great cookie or pastry can still be great if they don’t change what makes them great. Went too early and the dining room was closed so I ordered a box of cookies and minis for take away. Loved them all!!!

Best cheesecake ever! We had the Italian and the New York style cheesecakes and both were phenomenal. The Italian one, you really feel the ricotta texture, and it feels less sweet but more cheesy. The New York one, is more refined and sweet, and more similar to the type of cheesecake I am used to. I also loved how they had a large separate section for seating with a server. The atmosphere had a nice retro feel to it.
