Came for a friends birthday brunch! It was so nice the way they had a prefixed birthday menu printed out special for our friend. Delicious food choices (I got the avocado toast), and delicious mimosas too! Staff was really nice and accommodating of allergies, which we really appreciated! Would deff recommend this place to friends in the future 😊! If you enjoyed this review, please check out our travel account on Instagram @andiamoadventure

Ambiance (4/5): The venue was decked out in festive decorations for the holidays. It is dark inside with loud music on in the back. There’s a few dining tables toward the front and along the bar but it was crowded with guests. We ventured in the back where there was an assortment of dining with booths and tables so we seated ourselves. Service (4/5): We already knew our orders and placed them as soon as we were seated. We found it difficult to get service with only 1 wait staff but luckily we didn’t need much attention during the meal. We told the server that the dishes were going to be split and they kindly cut everything and split the dishes for us! Food (3/5): French Onion Soup (no rating): I don’t usually order this so I have no comparison to if it’s good or not. My boyfriend said it was not good. I enjoyed the gruyere cheese on top but wasn’t a huge fan of the soup. QR Burger (3/5): The burger was cooked medium-rare as we had requested! The bbq sauce and caramelized onion gave the burger an extra taste boost however it also made the buns extremely soggy so the burger was difficult to eat. I asked for

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and enjoyed it! We sat outside with our dog who was loved by the staff. We liked the biscuits a lot. I also really enjoyed my croissant sandwich but my girlfriend’s egg’s Benedict was cooked through. Otherwise we had a good experience.

I was so excited to try out this restaurant and the expectations were met. Our server Dounia(apologize if the spelling isn’t correct) was so warm and accommodating as soon as we arrived. She recommended the biscuits which they make from scratch and you can tell! Homemade garlic butter and blueberry jam for the win. I had the Spinach Benedict on toasties with a lovely side salad. It was perfect and full of flavor. My friend has the potato hash with bacon and feta and was also very pleased. Great cold brew and lattes, we will definitely be back and spread the word. Can’t wait to try dinner next time. Thank you!

Great place to grab a coffee, lunch, a drink, anything. Equally awesome. Place to spend the afternoon working, staff is super friendly and on point. Burger is delicious, the maple cinnamon latte was incredible as well.

I came here because my partner convinced me after having gone by himself and I have no complaints. Food menu is pretty basic but reliable and you can tell everything is made with care. Salmon benedict tasted really good. Loved the hot toddy (made with aged rum and apple cider) which I believe is seasonal. Place is very cute looking. Would go back again.

Classy but unpretentious atmosphere in a great spot with likely the best cold brew coffee in Astoria. I’ve been here a dozen times now, and they consistently deliver great service and quality food. For brunch, I’d recommend the shakshuka or the potato hash. Can’t go wrong with their basket o biscuits either

Great restaurant / bar. The portions are very generous and the food is really good. I had the shakshuka that came on a bed of hummus and a lot of pita slices. The shakshuka is spiced with ras el hanut, which is usually used to spice meat in mediterranean cuisines so it was a bit weird, but good. Definitely not for everyone. The chicken and pancakes were also very good. They also have fun "sneaky" drinks, so you can drink without feeling judged lol

I love this place and the staff here is great! The reason why I'm giving 1 star review is because I really want this place to have consistency in their menu. Whenever there's a change, the food is really amazing for the first week, but then after, the food doesn't have the same taste nor is made properly. When the meatballs came up, it was to die for... I kept coming back until a couple days after, it was not good to disgusting, to the point where I don't even want to order it again. They came out recently with short ribs, which was amazing, but the last 3 times I ordered, it was just a huge chunk of fat and no meat, which tells me that they're not cleaning the meat properly before making it, and tonight they decided to put the creamy polenta on a side dish, which upset me, I don't want the polenta on a separate dish, and it tasted so bad like they overheated and added water. Why there is no consistency ? Please fix your kitchen operations, I've been coming here for over a year now and I don't want to stop coming here because of such things, and unfortunately I know many people who stopped coming to this place for this reason. Overall a good place to go, but it needs work.

Queens Room is my home away from home. My "Third Place." My "Cheers." I walk in and am greeted warmly. I am treated like a part of the family and that makes me feel incredibly special. The food is good. The drinks are great. And their quarterly Wine Nights are consistently the best deal in the city!! I've taken friends, family, and clients to Queens Room and never been disappoint. My recommendation? Go after lunch, get a latte and work until happy hour. Then grab a Spags and a side of their UNMATCHABLE French Fries and enjoy the atmosphere.

4/7/23 has not been here for 3 years. Had lunch and celebrated birthdays with friends. I loved the food, service, ambience, decor, music. But most most of all Jackie made our our visit most memorable and amazing. And I must commend the other waitress (sorry did not get her name) for her service too! Must recommend and return!!!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. The homemade biscuits definitely take the cake here. Great spot for weekend brunching or even having drinks on the outside seating area. Parking can be hard to come by as there’s only street parking around.

I recently had a delightful dining experience with not a single complaint. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Even my husband, who is typically hard to please with outside food, thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We opted for the QR burger, and it was nothing short of amazing. As for my choice of Hummus, it, too, exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

I had this place on my "to-visit" list for a long time and i went today -it didn't disappoint at all. First, the hostess was extremely helpful and kind, took our names and put us on a waiting list. We went for a walk and they messaged us that the table is ready. Usually other places make you wait outside and I am glad this one didn't The waitress was the sweetest lady and at one point the owner (female-led business!!!!) came and asked if I needed something. The food was sooo yummy. We had Shak-shuka , hash browns, and house made biscuits (which were to-die-for). The atmosphere is so cozy and vibrant. I love the black couch and the mirror gallery wall. Can't wait to go again.

I came here for my grandma’s birthday. I was looking for a place to take her and found this place nearby. When I got to the place, the staff attended us immediately. 2 stars right there. Next, as soon as we sat down, they gave us our menus with a bright, radiant smile. 1 extra star. The atmosphere was incredible, and the place was really comfy, so another star. Lastly, our foods were delicious and definitely worth the wait. Overall, I would definitely come back and if I could, I would rate it more than 5 stars.

Came here with the fam. We didn’t have a reservation because I thought we didn’t need one but they were able to accommodate us which I very much appreciated. The drinks (long live the queen )were pretty good. The food was presentable and perfect temperature. I enjoyed every bit of it no crumbs left. Seriously. I will be back.

I found out about this place on TikTok and I came for the chicken not waffles. I made a reservation for one online and was immediately greeted and seated. The hostess was very kind and so was my server although she didn’t check on me once which tbh I don’t really I don’t blame her because she probably thought i was still eating since most of the food was on my plate (you’ll read why below). My food didn’t take too long to come out maybe about ten minutes. I didn’t order any drinks. When they brought out my plate I had to hold my face together because of how underwhelmed I was. The pqnckases were flat and way too sweet and not buttery. The chicken was super dry and it’s like a singular flat chicken cutlet that was fried way too hard. I thought it would be hot honey on the chicken but I didn’t taste anything with any slice just super sweet syrup. I ate maybe 4 bites which was 3 bites too many because I wanted to give it a fair chance and still no. The atmosphere is nice, the music is kind of loud but it’s fine. If you’re like me and was expecting to be blown away with the food and service then prepare to be severely disappointed. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu though the people next to me got the biscuits as starters and they smelled wonderful and looked so soft. My meal was $21.19 and I will just take that L and give my food to next homeless person I see so that it doesn’t go to waste.

Went here for a girls night out. Drinks were interesting and delicious. I had the long love the queen and an autumn venom. Both very good. Not too strong but not weak, tasty and well balanced. For apps we had the toast and hummus both were great. The hot honey on the toast was KILLER and the pita with the hummus was delicious soft and warm. For entre I had the Bolognese which was delicious. Others in my party had the shrimp scampi and raved about it that it had a little spice and was well seasoned. Wish I tried a warm drink but I’ll have to return I guess!!!! Ambiance was excellent, chill vibe and not a loud crowd. Still not a library but you don’t have to scream over each other. A great night out will surely come back.

10/10 experience! Such attentive, quick service on a Saturday morning for brunch! I sat at the bar and everyone was very kind and helpful. The iced vanilla chai was amazing (get it dirty, with a shot of espresso) and the green eggs and Beni were delicious as well!

This place is in a great location with super friendly and attentive staff. However, we came for a brunch for four people and we were disappointed with the portion sizes. The Spanish hash was good flavor, but for $20+ you think you’d get more than one poached egg on hash…

Stopped in for appetizers and cocktails before dinner. Excellent service and even better fare. We went with the baked feta and grilled broccolini. Gorgeous enclosed outdoor seating with heaters at every table. Plush pillows!

Have passed this restaurant several times and never thought to go in and finally yesterday I was pleasantly surprised 1!!! It was excellent we have the baked feta and muscles they were delicious then we each selected an entre which one was better than the other . The short ribs were so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The salmon was scrumptious perfectly cooked with sweet potato cream . Last but not least the most succulent burger with swiss and onions. This place was such a surprise it might even become a regular place for me. Not to mention the drinks were sooo yummy. Should i even dare to say that we each had a desert also scrumptious!!! My compliments to the Chef. Vicky our server was 100% sweet and funny with a great attitude. I can't say enough good things about this place clean and very good service as well.

recently hosted my bridal shower at Queens Room. Antonia, the owner was beyond accommodating. She was very quick to respond and covered every detail. She even made personalized menus. She was there from the start to end of the event and ensured everything ran smoothly. She was so easy to work with and her and her staff were incredible! The food and cocktails were a hit. My favorite was the violette femme cocktail it was very refreshing! I would highly recommend hosting an event here. Thank you Antonia and team!
