What an amazing place! Honestly, if you haven't gone you definitely should. It's entertaining, whimsical, charming, and just all around fun. Great for a friends night out, or a date with your partner. The staff and entertainers work so hard to create an enjoyable environment that really that's all I can say about the place. Highly recommend the Dirty Circus show. Don't miss out.

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Brooklyn. Great atmosphere, music and drinks. They have many events every week. One of the most gender-fluid places that tolerates NO hate. The lines are always long so you better get tickets early!!! Restrooms for all genders and coat check available!

Omg!! First off LOVE THE CONSENT POLICY! I had such a great time dancing and drinking while I knew I’d be protected if anyone tried to be creepy! Came with friends and enjoyed all the dancers about. The space’s Deco was FAB ✨ I want to come by for all their events! ✨ drinks are $12 for some tasty things on the menu. Don’t drink beer so didn’t look @ that. Bathrooms were all inclusive. A great queer space 💓 so appreciated - go find out how fun this place is!!

One of my favorite going out spot in Brooklyn. House of Yes is an institution. Great venue, amazing entertainment and very good drinks. They have some of the best drag shows in New York City. The vibe is always fun. I have always had a great time here. Highly recommend!

Cool venue. A great runway for a fashion show in my case, or a band. A gathering room beautifully decorated plus a cool bar, and a semi-outdoor venue to cool off and stand or sit. Lots of food trucks around for a late snack. Recommended!

One of the best night of my life! The theme nights are a blast and people really dress up. I can not recommend this club enough. People truly follow the consent rules and I’ve never felt safer in a nightclub. Tickets range from $0-$60 and the earlier you buy them, the cheaper they are!

went for dirty circus on a Saturday night and it was *so* much better than I was expecting! it was so polished, so professional and above all so sexy - it was my partner's first experience of burlesque and it was a lovely inclusive and consensual space for it. kudos to the amazing performers and well done to whoever had to clean up the mess afterwards

Super sex positive and safe space! We have been to three different events: a drag show, the strip party, and the Bad B!tch Energy dance party. The drag show was really nice. The host was funny, witty, and awesome. The performers were really good as well. The Strip Party was also amazing! The people in the club were having a good time, the performers were enjoying themselves and there was a good diversity in body type/genders of the performers. Every time we were at this place, we felt safe and not judged. I was also pleasantly surprised that a lot of the events are free of charge so you can give (more) money to the performers and tip the staff. The staff, by the way, was very friendly. I honestly wish there were more places like these in the world.

There was a talent show happening when I went. A diverse group of performers and attendees. Host was super entertaining. 🍹🚬💨 Drinks were good, although pricey for BK, but admission was free. There’s a semi-attached open space for smokers. 🎭 It’s a very open and free space for the unconventional. Had a wonderful time.

Best club I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend buying tickets to performance. As long as you stay, they let you stick around for the dance party the rest of the evening. The theater performance was incredible, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Cast members are not only talented but very friendly and will strike up casual conversation after the show. The also have a hot tub! Drinks are reasonably priced, especially for being a venue. I can not recommend this place enough. Money very well spent! Definitely going back soon!

Wow, what a show! Definitely recommend. Went for the dirty circus. It lasted for about 2.5h with a break in between. There was a bar, but not super exciting options. The audience was actually a bit less dressed up than I expected, so felt comfortable. They open the doors 1h before the show and then arrived maybe 10 min before the start, but the doors to the main room were still closed, so no need to rush. The artists were funny and talented.

What an incredible experience!! I highly recommend that everyone checks out house of yes at least once in their life time! It is so body positive and queer friendly, and you’ll have the best time ever. If you’re in New York, go to house of yes.

Update: Boosting review to 4 stars based on owner response. Bar tenders are friendly and professional, but should tell patrons where to get the free water in addition to selling the canned water. Owner reply was patient and kind. Guys, I would have given you a 5 except... when people ask for water, you try to sell them canned water. No. Just... no. I'm not hurting for money, but on principle... no. You don't charge people who have been drinking alcohol for water. Because... it's WATER. It's essential for human existence. Don't wreck your reputation for tolerance and acceptance by charging people for... again... water.

Otherworldly, ecstatic, and free, the House of Yes is one of the most unique clubs and venues I've ever had the privilege to patronize. Calling it a visit feels unfair: it's an experience. The energy is palpable and, when you're there, you are surrounded with loving vibrations. This is truly a special place in Brooklyn's nightlife. Highly recommend seeing some kind of performance here in addition to any party you might attend (I saw 'Ketamine the Musical', 10/10 also!).

I’ve never seen a drag performer climb a wall….until I went to house of yes! Great entertaining show in an amazing venue. After the show we were moved into the bar for some great tunes by a few local DJ’s. Bar has some amazing decor. Will be back!

Edwin's 40th Birthday Date Night - Dirty Circus 10.21.23 Amy Snow Review Oh, let me tell you about the wickedly enchanting experience my husband Edwin and I had at House of Yes - Dirty Circus 10.21.2023 for his marvelous 40th Birthday! It was a night of pure magic that we'll cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and open arms by the lovely Madame Vivien V. She had the most deliciously wicked sense of humor that instantly made us feel at home. A kinky family of misfits. Our seats, oh my, they were absolutely perfect! We had the best view of the sensational performances that unfolded before our eyes. The entire cast was beyond talented, embodying a unique blend of raw sensuality, vibrant energy, and astounding skill. They captivated us, leaving us wanting more. And speaking of wanting more, after the Dirty Circus show, the fun was far from over! We danced the night away with the cast at the Vampire Event that followed. The energy was electric, and we couldn't resist letting loose and becoming one with the pulsating beat. The security team at House of Yes deserves a special mention. They were phenomenal! They ensured that our experience was safe, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the night's festivities without a worry in the world. We truly felt cared for and protected. Now, let me tell you about the devilishly beautiful creature who worked at a makeup station in the club. She put her vampire makeup magic on me! She applied the most mesmerizing makeup, painting my lips in shimmering red blood. I wish I had caught her name so I could properly credit her, for she truly made me feel like a glamorous seductress. Thank you beautiful devil for the esquist makeup & conversation. But that's not all! House of Yes knows how to please all palates, even the vegans among us. They had a scrumptious selection of empanadas, with delightful vegan options. It was a sweet touch that showed their commitment to catering to everyone's needs. There were bars everywhere with little to no lines & the housemaid drinks that were pure delight. Also, non alcoholic mixed drinks which was a nice touch. #11/10 House of Yes - Dirty Circus for a night of pure delight and adventure. It's a place where inhibitions melt away, and you can embrace your naughtiest desires! This is a place of performance, not just acrobatics and not an act, it is immersive, might be extreme and should be extreme be warned, you live only once. Come for adventure, as it is a bit more than a performance.

Had a blast for first time clubbing experience in NYC and for my birthday. Only reason for giving 3 stars is bc female security/bag checker with her hair pulled back in a pony tail, and greenish eyes, roughly looked through my Ferrigamo purse. I didn't appreciate how rough she was with it, and she was rude to me in line before that. Literally insulted, and called me names while i was walking away. Otherwise, this place was fun and other staff members were cool af. 🔥

Great place most times we go. Wish more people dressed for theme nights. Great music and drinks. Better places to go now. Not as strict on theme night dress, as used to be. Lostvits luster..... that is what made it great

Great venue! I was in NY for a vacation, and came here for Discotechnique. I love that the vibe and crowd are similar to Burning Man, and at least 75% of the people dress the part. They emphasize asking for consent before contact, and almost everyone there is good about following it. I wish there was a venue similar to this in the Bay Area where I live.

Probably one of the best mid-size venues in Brooklyn. Sound quality is great, the crowd might lack sophistication but not necessarily a negative, and the drinks are great. Your mileage may vary with the bartenders’ customer service but you should be able to find a good one and stick with them. Also very safe space to have a good time. The energy here is positive and everybody is just trying to have a good time.

First of all let me start by saying these where veteran tickets that we purchased and was extremely disappointed on how they treated us. We purchased 4 tickets and one of my friends wanted to tip an entertainer $20 and felt bad by throwing it at them. They felt that it was unclassy to throw money at the entertainment as if they were a strippers. So, my friend walked to the end of the stage and professionally placed the large bill on the entertainment and the entertainer did not show no signs of discomfort. The judges made it a big deal and got my friend thrown out disrespectfully meanwhile the entertainer did not show any signs of disrespect. I’m a veteran and part of the LGBT community and was so disoriented and disgusted with this venue! Veterans beware do not purchase tickets from this venue it’s not worth it! I felt so disrespected after spending $300 dollars on drinks there for me and my friends! Not worth it don’t even go! No matter how respectful you are they are on their mighty horse degrading clients like us that are just having fun and spending money.

  • 5/5 Lili B. 2 years ago on Google
I have always had an unbelievable time here. The people who run this place are extremely talented at throwing just amazing parties. As long as you are respectful of everyone there, there is something for everyone there. My favorite is the professional dancers, I could watch them forever.

  • 5/5 A Z. 2 years ago on Google
Omg, words can’t even explain how much fun it is. Firstly, the dancing 💃🏼 is always 🔥, love the combined outdoor area and when there was? A hot tube outside. All together there are three different rooms with dj’s, a coat check and disco restrooms. It’s unforgettable.

  • 5/5 Philip B. 2 years ago on Google
The hype is real and you’ll have an incredible night if you commit to dressing up with the theme and check your ego at the door. Easy to come with groups or even down to solo. Buy your tickets in advance, COMMIT TO YOUR LOOK, and be ready to dance. The vibe does vary with the themes pretty significantly, but I won’t tell which events are best to keep the tourists at bay. HOY you have a special place in my heart for your many years of service to the neighborhood.

Went on Sat evening. The staff at the door explain rules and also give pep talks that lifted our mood, so much so that my friend tipped generously. Good crowd, good selection of drinks! There were people dancing on pedestals next to DJ which was fun to watch and kept people engaged. A different experience and must watch! Overall I liked the time and money I spent at the place. It was fun.

Absolutely loved this place! We always have the most fun and they have the best performances and the best DJ’s! We love meeting. We dances and expressing our fav principle of radical self expression! We usually Uber and get tacos after since the ENTIRE block outside is full of food trucks! The line is quick but we always get tickets in advance. There is always random entertainment and you never know what you’re going to experience or who you will meet!

House of Yes is a performance venue, event space, and arts collective in Brooklyn, New York. They are known for their wild parties, circus performances, and burlesque shows. I recently visited House of Yes for the first time, and I was blown away by the experience. The venue is absolutely stunning, with a high ceiling, exposed brick, and a beautiful stage. The atmosphere is electric, and the crowd is always up for a good time. I saw a circus performance that was absolutely incredible. The performers were incredibly talented, and they did some amazing stunts. I also saw a burlesque show that was very sexy and fun. The crowd at House of Yes is very diverse, and everyone seems to be there to have a good time. There is no dress code, so you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Overall, I had an amazing time at House of Yes. It is a truly unique and special place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a night out in Brooklyn.

House of Yes was the most magical club experience I have ever had! The staff were AMAZING, there were bubbles and a makeup station and themed dancers and a WATER STATION?!? Phenomenal. I absolutely am making a trip all the way to NY again JUST for The House of Yes! 🌈✨🦄

If you’re thinking about this for you or your group, I’m here to say it’s a definite yes. The staff were all very welcoming, the drinks were great, and the show itself was one of a kind. I took a group of guys here on a Saturday night, we didn’t know what to expect but we kept our minds open for it. We all left the venue knowing we made the right choice.

I loved it. Very interesting place with lots of diversity and inclusiveness. I went mainly for the music. And it was pretty good. Not all of the music is my cup of tea but a few sets were nice. There was also some dance performance which was unusual and interesting. The only thing was that the place got super crowded after midnight. It was difficult to move around.

  • 4/5 Unknown 7 months ago on Google
It was alright. The music was good at first then went south pretty quickly after 2am, which resulted in everyone clearing out. Last time I buy a ticket for 130a entry. Good conversation and vibes. I didn't drink cause nothing is priced on the menu and is rumored to be quite expensive.

The house it’s such a big Yea! It wasn’t that expensive nice atmosphere, unfortunately I just been there prob not the best time on Thursday was a bit lame

  • 4/5 Amy F. 7 months ago on Google
The environment is fun and welcoming. There was a lot happening- someone giving tattoos, a makeup artist, and teeth jewelry! I wish the dance floor was larger because it definitely was tough to move more than a few inches with how packed it got to be. We also had the option to get a ticket for free if we arrived before midnight. After midnight, I want to say the cost was around $12.

Wife and I wanted to try a new experience. So we did research and found out about this place. House of Yes is an event space/venue that does different services. They want to stress to EVERYONE that they are inclusive of all races, genders, tastes, etc. EVERYONE is welcome (so long as you are respectful of everyone and ready for a great time). We went for the Dirty Circus Show. A unique experience to be sure: and one to keep the party flowing. Everyone on the stage was entertaining as well as talented. Will be looking out for more future events.
