I really like the whole concept of having two broths. Spicy broth and tomato broth were the options. The utensils they provide like the round ladle to pick up your meat if you don’t want to burn yourself being by the broth for too long. They also provide a salad tongs to take out anything thick such as corn. Everything was so fresh and good. Hot Pot Sauce - a lot of green onions, some cilantro, a spoon of soy sauce, a drizzle of oyster sauce, a spoon of sesame oil, sugar, garlic and then add your broth. They also had a cotton candy station and they also have the instructions displayed to make it. I really enjoyed the food here so much and enjoyed looking around seeing their decorations. The customer service was great - so friendly and welcoming.

Great place for Chinese hot pot, friendly staff, and the food was delicious! This restaurant is buffet style, and there are three course options to choose from. I recommend the middle level, since the cheapest option doesn’t include unlimited meat, and the VIP(most expensive) level might be too pricey. All options have unlimited access to the buffet bar, which includes a variety of seafood, fish cakes, noodles, vegetables, and more! You also get the unlimited sauce bar, which has many different choices and toppings. When you first order after being seated, you choose a broth(beware: the spicy one is quite spicy) and order what meat you’d like(they have lamb!). If you choose a course option with unlimited meat, you can call a waiter to order more meat later on.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary. He's never been to a hot pot so it was a fun experience overall. Good selection of vegetables and other items. Service was overall good however felt like they were rushing us towards the end. Overall a good time and will definitely go back.

It was my first experience at hot pot 🍲 and it was honestly pretty good. I left the place stuffed! I loved the beef garlic. Kind of sad there was no enoki mushrooms when I went but aside from that the veggies were fresh, the meat was delicious and the service was good. Very kind staff, constantly refilling the broth, getting you meat and checking on you. It was a good experience.

Delicious variety of foods for an all you can eat buffet. Came here to eat with a large group on Christmas! There is are vegetables, fishballs, starch, shrimp, and others in the self serve buffet. The sauce bar also has options, along with a small dessert section with a cotton candy machine. Would recommend checking it out!

Price: $4.50 per person $8+ for the base soup So you're at $12 before you even choose anything to eat. The experience is fun but the taste of the food doesn't match the experience. It's good food for sure, but nothing that makes me want to come back again. The spicy broth is good but really spicy so I'd recommend getting the half/half base

Went after they redid to ACYE and it sucks. They don't give straws like what? And the AYCE is just not it. They're obviously trying to cater to a different crowd.

A great hot pot restaurant. It is not an all you can eat place, but the price you pay for what you get is surely worth it. They have a spicy and non spicy soup for you to coock with and a huge variety of meat to choose from. It was one of the best hot pot places i've been to in NJ. Definitely recommend the place.

So happy we ignored the negative reviews!! We ate here tonight and would definitely come back. This was our first experience eating “hot pot” style. From the super helpful staff to the variety of foods offered, we were more than pleased with our choices. We ordered the all you can eat option which allowed us to try several different meats, noodles and veggies. We were even allowed to bring our own wine inside!! Bonus!! thank you so much to Dan for explaining and guiding us through the whole process

I love this new menu so much. Good service, nice&clean. The lamb cutter was so thin. The beef just has the right percentage of fat and lean. Super fresh.

Decent hot pot in town. For vegetarians they have good options..we ordered tomato and spicy veg broth. Cons- it's very unorganized. There are very few vegetables available. Also they share same serving spoons between veg and non veg which is not appreciated. There were meat pieces fallen in rice cakes which is very gross. Sauces are limited too. Overall I will recommend if you can ignore the above clumsiness and are ok with spoons being shared between vegetarian and non vegetarian options.

My first hotpot experience! I really enjoyed all the food. If you're gonna get meat, I would definitely recommend the garlic beef, it was our favorite! Something that was a little annoying was that the servers would keep adding extra broth without us needing, and it caused everything we added in to get lost, so we were constantly adding things since we couldn't find what we added. The broth was definitely really spicy too, so definitely order accordingly.

We walked in and were seated and were seated in less than 2 mins, despite the place being super crowded. They brought the “hot pot” (we asked for half milk and half spicy) to our table and helped us with picking out meat, seafood, veggies & appetizers. We assumed the the appetizers would be served on a plate pre-cooked, but it came just like the meat and seafood - it needed to be cooked in the hot pot. Not what my friends & I were expecting but loved the idea. We were able 5 people. We got some lamb, fish, shrimp, wontons and 2-3 veggies. Was more than enough for us. I’d say the hot-pot-soup was truly my favorite part. Sooooo flavorful and they keep refilling it when they notice it needs to be. For drinks, we all got the Rock sugar + Pear Drink and it was great. Our total came up to 90 dollars. I’d say it’s a great price for the experience. Loved every bit of it.

First time at a Hot Pot and it will not be my last. Great time with friends and the staff was helpful on how to navigate this style of restaurant. The veggies were fresh as was the tasty, thinly sliced meats. Go with the regular and spicy broths to cook everything.

Great dinner out for 8 of us. Food was delicious, service was excellent and everyone is very happy at each table. Enjoyable experience inside the restaurant. Parking is a whole other issue. Very difficult to park because this shopping strip has so many wonderful shops and eateries.

First time in this all you can eat place. I was satisfied with the experience, the food, the soup options, and the atmosphere. My coworkers and l had a great time. Adding our selections of ingredients to be cooked in the soups was something else, kind of fun.

First time here with my wife and LOVED IT!!! Service was great and fast. We came here for lunch and we are so glad we did! The food was amazing and fresh. We will absolutely be putting Happy Lamb into our restaurant rotation.

It’s a perfect dinner place for chilly weather! They are doing all you can in now for two choice, vegetarian or meats ($40 per person including tip, a bit pricey though). They said they will be launching premium meat option soon. This is one of the best hot pot place I have ever been. Great variety of food choice, fresh vegetable and thin sliced meats, and rich broth. Their service is fast and nice. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend to my friends

Amazing every single time. I drive almost an hour to come here, it's so worth it. I usually get the split pot of soup, lamb and beef, and plenty of veggies and noodles! You can bring home containers of leftovers- I recommend storing the broth separately! It's just as delicious at home.

Great food selection. Delicious food. The only negative was that they ran out of the red bean ice cream. 😂

I feel terrible to leave such a bad review but it must be done. The atmosphere is great. Its a clean place, feels warm and homey. The broth by itself tastes alright but I don't know what went wrong. Everything tasted fishy, like a very terrible fishy taste. I don't like wasting food so I apologize for doing so at this place, we just couldn't eat it. We tried our best.

I feel like if you aren’t a certain ethnicity you don’t get the best service. It was pretty crowded and it wasn’t clean looking around the area where you would go grab your food. But the all you can eat wasn’t expensive but if you want good service and good food maybe try another restaurant in the area. To me, the hot pot broth tasted bland as well as some of the other foods. Unfortunately, no one came to greet our table so we had no clue who our server was. Some random person just came and plopped a random broth on our table and it wasn’t even the broth we wanted. We were sort of confused at first, because we thought we would be able to select our broth, but we didn’t even get to select the broth. Overall not the best experience and will not go back. The food and service wasn’t worth it. If you’re looking for attentive service this may not be the place. But everyone has different experiences.

I love the food, it's delicious. I've been faithfully eating there for four years now at least twice a month. My problem is the new management cause there's not a lot of staff anymore to attend to customer, you'll never get what you need on your table or you chase after the servers. I decided not to give tip today because of the service I receive, and the moment I walk out of the door to my car one if the servers came running to me that I didn't include any tip. If I didn't receive the service I need why the harassment? If it was compulsory tip I could understand, but this server came running after me like I refuse to pay for my food and that's not cool, especially when you guys see my face there all the time. That's not nice.

My first experience in a hot pot restaurant. I have been a vegetarian all my life so, I was bit turned off by the amount of raw meat around. I got vegetarian hot pot with mushrooms. They have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. But after my first visit, I got hooked on. I love their food. All i need is their variety of mushrooms, tofus and some greens and I am happy. Good value for your bucks.

Food was okay; as first time goers, we were a bit confused on what to order and were not advised on how certain things would be prepared or served. Taste wise it was spot on. Def. would give them another go, could be because we went before closing time too.

Excellent soup! I was a little nervous about it, but I’m so!!!! Glad we gave it a try. Everything was ON POINT and the waiters were so polite and nice. A clean place, friendly, delicious and family friendly. A+++++++

SO FUN! It was my first time at hotpot and its awesome! Great options for my vegetarian friends as well. Service was great and the food selection was amazing. They also had a cotton candy machine which was a lot of fun. That being said, definitely a pricey dinner. I paid about 40 dollars in total including tip. Also if you share a table with friends, the cost per person will be the most expensive option anyone chooses. For example, i had two vegetarian friends but we were all charged meat prices because they were sitting at the same table. Makes sense but just a heads up.

I love this place! Good and quick service with fresh ingredients at the buffet. And free soda refills! Unfortunately, not many diet options. If you haven't tried Hotpot before I recommend trying a split pot of broth (Can be mushroom-based upon request) and get one spicy and one regular. Cook everything in the broth and once cooked, eat the items you cooked rather than filling up on soup. Trust me, this makes it worth the price! My favorites items are the lamb, udon noodles, spinach, fish tofu, regular tofu (not fried) and I have to get one piece of corn on the cob every time I go. They have a great mushroom selection as well! Don't forget to make a sauce! There's a small guide at the end of the sauce line, but have fun with it. I like to add kimchi, green onion, peanut sauce, chili oil and a dash of soy sauce to mine. A chef from Happy Lamb's kitchen confirmed that all the lamb on their menu is Halal. The servers may not know what you mean by "Halal" but they're happy to get you someone from the kitchen to confirm!

Loved the combination broth, which had vegetarian options too. The dipping sauce and the number of veggies and noodles is amazing. Cotton candy helped to end the meal.

I think the biggest complaint is that it feels pricey if there isn't a promotion or deal, but i dont expect it to be enough of a deterrent for us. The meats were tasty and tender and the variety in the buffet bar of items is pretty good. It's a little curious to me regarding the counter of items where you need to request them, but they offered some interesting things like blood cake.
