Gorgeous little area that most tourists miss on the New Jersey side of things. Offering lovely views of New York City and a little history, hence the name, this park is a lovely place to stop for a second and sit.

Hamilton Park is somewhat of a hidden gem for those who don’t live in New Jersey. Beautiful park from dawn to dusk with gorgeous sweeping views of Manhattan. Amazing running path. Extremely well kept, clean and groomed park with almost no trash in sight. A hidden gem for those who don’t live in NJ and only a max 20 minute $4 bus ride to get to. Highly recommend checking out. Also, immense amount of history to go along with it.

Untouched gem at Weehawken waterfront. Park is well maintained and very clean. Spectacular Manhattan skyline views. The park is safe to explore any time of the day and is wheelchair accessible. A few parking spots are there if you get lucky. Overall a very serene place to spend time! Highly recommended!!

Great place to get away from downtown Manhattan, or if you love the city but just don't want to go there. Just a short a few blocks off the first couple of exits from the Lincoln Tunnel, free parking in a beautiful neighborhood which includes these views. A walk around the neighborhood is an absolute must. The mix of houses range from multimillion-dollar mini mansions in good taste to just beautiful homes that are well-kept quaint and absolutely adorable

Hamilton Park not only offers a serene escape and stunning views of New York City, but it is also incredibly accessible. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to reach this hidden oasis. The convenience of a nearby bus stop made the journey seamless, allowing me to quickly immerse myself in the park's calming ambiance and breathtaking vistas. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat that is easily accessible, Hamilton Park is the perfect choice.

Nice place Hudson river view from new jersey, as well as Skyline of new York. Park timing is from 7 to midnight. You can sit there on benches or grass to enjoy the nice scenic view. You cannot play any game here like skateboarding, ball picking, etc. You can walk or do jogging here on the tracks. The late night view from this park is amazing.

This is a really great spot to get the best view of the NYC skyline. I've tried a lot of spots around Manhattan but nothing comes close to this you have a great view of all sections of town and can see almost all of the of the famous skyscrapers

🤯🌇💖 if this is not on your bucket list put it there now. On approach to the Lincoln Tunnel, traveling on New Jersey Route 3 East, grab the Last Exit before toll and go to the end of that road make a left and go up the hill, when you come around that curve... the angels will sing 🪣😲🕊

Great place in New Jersey to see the NYC skyline across the river.

  • 4/5 Tony O. 1 year ago on Google
To be fair, it's not that much of a park, more of a simple overlook, but the view is breathtaking. Any mention of the Hamilton/Burr duel is limited to an out of the way plaque which I guess is fair since the actual duel took place by the river and not upon the clifftop. A place to stop at if you happen i be paying by but not really anything you need to make a trip for. Super easy to get to though if you're exiting Lincoln Tunnel. But really, just a small patch of grass on top of a cliff.

This place is great for walking the dog or running. Space is a bit tight on weekends. Since it is widely visited. It has one of the best panoramic views of New York.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the city view. I love picking up my favorite drink at Starbucks and driving to here to chill on a whim on days with clear sky!

The best view of NYC skyline from uptown going through mid town and then down town . Best time to be here at sunset to see the glowing skyline and in evenings to see the skyline sparking in lights . I can easily spend hours here .

Randomly stopped by while on a walk. Has to be one of the most beautiful parks in all of the NJ/NYC area. Breathtaking vista

If you're in New York, and you're with someone you care about (a partner perhaps, but it could also be a friend or family member), take the ferry from Manhattan to Weehawken, New Jersey. Climb up the spiralling staircase, which is very long and arduous, but the climb is worthwhile. When you reach the top, see the place where Hamilton's duel is memorialized, then come here to the idyllic park and look out at the view of Manhattan on a clear day. The glassy skyline, looking liquid and fantastical, almost blends into the endless, sunsoaked blue. It is one of the most enchanted sites in the tri-state area, and the first time I was here, I was astonished that even in a place like New York City, where every single little spot is so analyzed and mythologized by media and tour guides, a dazzling gem like this has gone unrecognized. You will remember your time here, and you will remember who you were with when you first saw such a view.
