Good coverage of the city. Night tour bus frequency is also good. Hi to the staying point to get a good seat. Harbor cruise was painful. It is only on the afternoon. We visited on peak summer. So could not enjoy the tour on the deck. It was too hot. It is printed and a bit boring. You get a very good view of statue of liberty. We had Rockefeller center entry. This was well worth. Redeeming tickets was easy.

So I bought a pass from a bus that takes you around NY and tells you all about it through earphones, but what makes this exciting is you're allowed to get off and explore and wait for the next bus to pick you up from the same company. It's an all day pass. Highly recommend if you don't rent a car.

I had a great time touring New York with the service in a timely manner as I had just one day at hand. The tour started off on time and both the driver and the conductor were people with a pleasant personality. They stopped at the right place and right time especially for the Stanton island ferry which I could take in time. ♿️ This place has: Yes=Ramp access. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible entrance. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible restroom. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible seating. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible parking. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Elevator.

This is a great hop on-hop off way to orient yourself in NYC! You also get to see all of Manhattan, and when you want to hop off and explore Central Park or Times Square, or any landmark at any stop, you just jump off and jump back on when you're ready. We never waited too long for a bus! Great sights in NYC!

When riding the bus for sight seeing you get to see lots of things. Here are 369 photos out of probably a few thousand I took. Its a must do while in newyork because it covers so much ground that otherwise would he seen in a weeks time if you had to walk or take a taxi. Its cost only 100 for my entire family which was a deal from the midtown hilton.

This was a great service and a good experience. The guides were kind and very knowledgeable. The night tour is totally a plus the I hope more people can use. And the ferry trip is among the best I got in the city. I will surely recommend it and use it again when I come back to NYC!

We bought a three day pass which included Buses for uptown, downtown, Brooklyn tours, Night Tour and Hop-on, Hop off cruise as well as a ticket to the Museum of New York City. We added the Statue of Liberty Tour, Top of the Rock and the Museum of Natural History. We went early September and there were hardly any queuing for any tour or attraction. It was straightforward to exchange the voucher for tickets and every Grayline operative we met was helpful, friendly and professional. The bus guides vary in the way they conduct their tour and the headphone jacks do not always make a good connection, meaning a change of seats, if there was a space. Overall it is an excellent way of getting a three day introduction to New York. We would highly recommend it if you are visiting for the first time. Well worth the savings on buying the individual tickets for attractions.

They used to be good but not anymore . I give them 4 stars because of the guides! Waiting 45 min for a bus was too much and then we waited another 5 min to open the doors, meanwhile 8 buses from Top View past us.You Need More Buses fast!!!! Make sure you get to the ferry, it's just an amazing experience, they simply take you to the Hudson river to see the New York city and New Jersey side too. You'll see a quick water tour of the statue of Liberty. Damien, one of the crew officers was simply amazing and helpful with everyone, speaking Italian French English and a little bit of Japanese.

This is the BEST way to see NYC. The tour guides were knowledgable, informative and interesting!! My kids loved it also! My 14 yr old was using an electric scooter because of knee surgery and all buses we seen were easily accessible for him. On the night tour we ran in to a little rain and they gave every person a poncho. Awesome service!!!

Good service. Good infrastructure. Good prices for what you get. The only way to get to know New York in a couple of days is these tours because the city is so big that walking is just gonna get you exhausted. And moving by car is really painful with all the traffic. At least scratch the surface. Big Bus has way better service and guides. But Sightseeing offers more for the same price. At least the cruise is better. But the buses are pretty much the same. Worth it.

STOP!! CITY SIGHTSEEING BUSES ARE NOT RUNNING. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Nowhere in the website does it state that their buses are not running. Five friends and I were in NY the week of June 17-21 2021. We purchased the Flex Pass with 6 attractions online and come to find out their buses are NOT running. Somehow City Sightseeing is now connecting with the The Big Bus. Since we missed a day of using our passes because we weren't aware of this, for some reason we had to pay Big Bus $15 more. We only did 1 bus tour. The bus was dirty, no live guide, the radio to hear the guided tour worked for a little while then all u heard was static. This was a BIG disappointment since I've always purchased and enjoy City Sightseeing bus tours. They need to mention in their webpage that their buses are NOT running. So, if u don't want any surprises don't purchase tickets through here.

Exploring New York was an unforgettable experience! The Empire State Building's iconic views and Rockefeller Center's vibrant atmosphere were awe-inspiring. The Saks Fifth Avenue light show added a magical touch to the night. Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel was a culinary delight with breathtaking skyline panoramas. A perfect day capturing the essence of the city that never sleeps!

Very unprofessional. Some guy just told us we would get the next boat and we ended up having to wait for an hour. We just wanted to get to Staten Island for free in a ferry. These tickets are pricey and not worth it at all.

Some busses are completely open topped, which on the summer is fine, but very cold in December, even with appropriate clothing, hats, gloves etc. Not all of the stops were easy to find so unless you hop on where you came off, there is little chance of finding the next stop. Bus times were irregular so difficult to judge when the next one will be along. Did both the downtown and uptown tours, which were fine and showed off some of the more interesting sights, particularly if you only have a couple of days in New York and want to see as much as you can. Disappointed with the night tour. Was advertised as visiting the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges along with the city lights. We never left the city, but circled round the same places 2 or 3 times. Not what we wanted to see, and not worth being freezing cold and hungry for 2 hours!

We bought hop-on-hop-off bus tickets from the city sightseeing website ahead of time. When we tried to use the tickets it said that the ticket code was unrecognisable. We tried to contact them for a replacement or refund, to no avail. They don't respond to any form of communication. Huge scam! Rather buy your tickets at the bus stop directly.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The absolute worst! The bus tour drivers are rude and not patient at all! I saw him yelling at a customer. They do not inform you which bus goes where. I do not recommend. I used the bus that took me to battery park on jan 27th at 5:30pm

I had booked a round trip from NYC to Woodbury. The bus does not stick to the schedule. They have cancelled 8:15 pm bus with no updates to customers and had to wait for more than an hour. The customer service agent Joe Sam kept me on hold for long time and after 10 minutes told me to just wait for the next bus. I have already told him that we are almost 30 people and will not fit in one bus but he did not say anything or willing to take an action.

I booked 6 tickets a week back. Unfortunately my parents couldn’t make it, they refunded full amount. Only one thing to consider was long waiting line in order to go for security check. Waited almost 1 hour 30 minutes for security check and around hour for our turn. Almost 2:30 minutes of wait time. So plan your trip accordingly.

We took the hop on hop off cruise. Cruise itself is very nice. The way back from downtown is more interesting and had a guide. Toilet on the boat is in horrible condition. The boats left on different times than they indicated on the website. The last boat of the day was cancelled with no warning so we were very lucky that we decided to go back early otherwise we would have missed our way back and also the most interesting part of the tour. Be there early because the boats leave every hour and a half and they fill them up completely so that you might not have a place to sit.

Bought a 3-day pass. Most of the bus tours in the pass don't exist anymore. And the only bus tour is working only for one day. The staff refused to do a commercial gesture when we wanted to do another ride. Instead they tried to charge us more.

I purchased tickets in advance for RiseNY, when I got there they were unable to scan my tickets with the code that was sent to me. The manager told us that this isn't even an approved vendor for their location. Thankfully RiseNY honored the tickets and allowed us entry. After reading reviews, I see that this happened to someone else at a different museum, I wouldn't purchase from this sightseeing company again.

This palce is awesome! I really enjoyed being there. The food is really delicious and fresh! Love that they give you coffee in carafe and serve it in a cute cup. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. You have a variety of food options. It is a large restaurant with two different sit areas. It is decorated with nice wall arts and fresh flowers. You can feel the good energy in it. You will definitely enjoy your meal here.

I bought a pass for Woodbury Common however when I went to redeem it at the desk in the Port Authority it wouldn't scan. Two different agents tried but it wasnt recognised. I was advised to purchase a new ticket as I needed to catch the bus. I emailed the company and attached a photo of the new ticket but they refused me a refund. Will not use them again

The staff is the nicest you’ll ever meet! They’re all so sweet! They also feed the seagulls which results in a swarm of birds just flying above you as you wait to get on the boat. So fun!!! Don’t let the white unmarked shuttles scare you. This place is legit and worth every penny!

When you take the subway and get off at Bowling Green AVOID THESE GUYS WEARING YELLOW. If you want just the express boat tour of Statue of Liberty, go straight to Pier 16!!! Do not get tickets from these guys!!! They’re trying to sell you their bus tours!!!! If you go straight to Pier 16, you pay just $22!! These guys will sell you $64 tickets for the express boat tour and the hop on/off city bus tour, but will make it seem like the bus tour is included. They sold us the tickets at 3:30pm and they didn’t tell us what time the services end. We got on the bus at Bowling Green a park at around 5:45pm, hoping to get to Soho. Bus took us to Time Square and told us this was the last stop at 6:30pm What a rip off!! We were thinking we would at least get a bus tour out of it. But that was barely a tour, there wasn’t even a tour guide. The bus driver didn’t even check our tickets, literally anyone could just hop on. I will be emailing their offices for sure.

Definitely do not believe that the One World pass is free. I bought a 2 attraction flex pass because I was going to use it for the Edge and Moma and take advantage that the One World as they say is free only on their tickets. The day of the Edge it started snowing when I was on the top and couldn’t see anything requested a rain check and they said no. Wanted to use my second attraction at the Moma and had gone to the One World observatory, turns out the One World was my second attraction, so I ended up paying additionally for Moma. Don’t believe what they announce it is a trick to get you to buy from them. Will never buy from them again or recommend. They even say that your satisfaction is important to them, yeah sure.

Great tour! A nice way to rest for a bit while also learning about the city. We had a great driver, and excellent service from all of the staff. I also witnessed a few of the staff members go out of their way to help folks. I would highly recommend them.

If I could give zero starts, I would. Paid for 4 people, with 1 attraction. Got 3 tickets. When I tried to speak with customer service, not only did I not get my 4th ticket, but I got yelled at and hung up on, twice. The attraction add on was worthless, no one would accept it, even though their website specifically says they are valid at those attractions. Save you money and use one of the cheaper and better tour company's like tour from the top.

  • 4/5 Jess P. 4 years ago on Google
The buses were good, the tour guides were both knowledgeable and both dealt with different but equally as challenging customers with professionalism. We had a great time, but I will say the A/C as advertised was not good. The A/C seats were dark and the A/C was not blowing cold air.

Horrible experience and a total rip off , I will never do business with them again, wast time and money. Rude staff member and they customer service never answer calls. I would recommend to staay faaaaaaaar away from city sightseeing.

I feel like they tour could have been much better. The recorded audio tour was good when it worked but there were times it cut out or repeated the same part a couple of times. A live guide would have been so much better, like it looked like some buses had that.

VERY BAD experience!! I purchased the ticket online. I was sent QR code over email which mentioned that the Big Bus tours would be the vendor on site. On reaching the location of Big Bus tours, the QR code did not scan on any of the machines of the Big Bus team members standing outside M&M store. Would not recommend anyone to purchase ticket from them.
