This is my go-to shopping thingy. It has trader joe, target, a bookstore and Alamo, my favorite movie theater chain of all time. I don’t think I need anything else to get by. I could maybe even live here and hide in clothes racks at target at night when they close. And there’s a fancy food hall - do not call it a food court!! You can be fined in Brooklyn by saying that!! Food courts are sooo suburban and way too cool for Brooklyn. This is a FOOD HALL. Just go. But you can’t live here!! Only me!

Born and raised in Brooklyn, It use to be called Albee Square Mall. Now it has Target there and other stores inside off Fulton St with tables and chairs outside to rest & eat. New tall buildings like it's Manhattan lol. Best Borough in N.Y. is My Brooklyn N.Y.

I haven't been in the downtown Brooklyn area in years. I was pleasantly surprised. The mall looks amazing and welcoming. I wish I had time to wander and explore. Grabbed a quick lunch at Katz Deli.

City Point is a mixed-use multi-building residential and commercial complex in Downtown Brooklyn, New York City. Provides In-store shopping, Wheelchair accessible elevator Wheelchair accessible entrance. There is a restroom, I absolutely love this target locations. A food hall & cool movie theater lend a happening vibe to this enclosed shopping & dining complex. Attended a pop up shop event, which was pretty dope.

I didn't realize how many good stores were in the old Al B Square Mall. This black owned couture store is amazing.

Really quiet right now. Except Trader Joe’s that requires like a 30 min line. Some shops are open, but not all. Food hall downstairs is also open and operating. Everyone has masks and respectively.

Really central to downtown Brooklyn and nearby Barclays. The book store & target are nice. The food court downstairs is pricey.

It has Trader Joe's, Target, a food court, a really cute book store, Primark and some other clothing stores, a really nice bar with a great view, a movie hall and even sports centre, all in one place. It's very convenient for a grocery run or a night out if you live nearby. The food court is great with a lot of options, east Asian, Mexican, African and American cuisines.

Nice variety of stores & a great food court with lots of different ethnic foods available. There is even a modern movie theater w/great seats & snacks.

Came for a movie and ended up at Target and grabbing a late lunch in the food court. The building is well kept and all the businesses in it seem to always have a high volume of customers

It was a neat place to visit, a lot of shops, main ones Target and Primark, food court downstairs with a variety of restaurants to choose from, a lot of store that surround the mall

I love city point it has a trader Joe's at the bottom of the building and many independent restaurants, which gives a lot of variety and many places to sit and enjoy your food. On the first floor they have stores and also from time to time they have people bring in stuff and sell it to the public , they are independently owned or home-made items. On the 2nd floor they have target 🎯 and the 3rd floor is Alamo theater, you must have your covid 19 card or you cannot get in. This theater has server's and menus you pick from and adult alcoholic drinks, but the best thing is that they do not tolerate phones or talking while the movie is on,or you will be asked to leave

This spot has definitely gentrified downtown brooklyn/ Fulton mall but at least we got a close by Trader Joe’s and Target. The food court is very nice and has many food options! Especially, Halal!

Target and Trader Joe's are my primary visits but a great high end($) food courts, a dance/performance space w/free salsa and DJ in the Summer on the weekends. Draft House Cinema, Six Points Brewry Restaurant/Bar, another bar, Kat's Delicatessen and every type of food you can think of in the food court except chain restaurants, none, all local businesses/restaurants in the food court. You will have a difficult decision.

I'm a Brooklyn native who travels alot and had many great food experiences but, The FAT FOWL has ultimately won my taste buds over. The flavor profiles are beyond I'm in love with this place. I recommend everything on the menue i promise you will not be disappointed....The forbidden black rice is the best rice I've had in my life.

Awesomeness! A pretty gentrified area now compared to just a few years ago. I also feel pretty safe as well around this neighborhood. There’s many places one can go to have fun, a drink (or a couple), and there the new k-bbq that opened up!

I went to Trader Joe’s. I was looking for vegan snacks. I found a few. The store was well stocked and organized. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was crowded without any long lines.

Great staff they're very helpful and welcoming. They keep you posted on new arrivals. The atmosphere in the store makes you not want to leave cause of the detail/craft into the apparel. I didn't even want to leave. The prices are perfect and worth your money

Slightly quirky layout as is common with NYC retail. Personally I only use the Target here plus occasional visits to the Trader Joe's and food court in the basement.

Visited target as I often do whenever I'm in the area. It's always fun. There's always something/things new and interesting. I always spend more than I plan too...love it though, never disappointed!

Great place shop or catch a movie or a bite to eat. As a matter of fact, there is a mind blowing amount eateries located on the lower level of this shopping/apartment complex. There's even a Trader Joe's. The one thing about the eateries, is that they can be a bit pricey.

  • 5/5 Raven W. 6 months ago on Google
I loved the place. Especially the target at this location. I got everything I needed from that location plus the food area is great. Came back twice. (^__^)

I’ve seen some reviews talking about how navigating the sub street level mall can be confusing and that the space seems small but this is New York. What you have here boils down to a year round food and shopping market. This place is a gem and it’s incredible easy to get to and near to other points of interest like Dumbo, the downtown Brooklyn Apple store, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and there’s Trader Joe’s right in the complex itself. There are a ton of food options from arepas to bread to sit in places all of which are pretty much guaranteed to be no to satisfy your hunger. This is a great place for visitors to the city as well and the cool neon lighting really helps to create an atmosphere and there’s plenty of sitting all around.

City point is very much an experience based on your choice and (honestly) luck. The Trader Joe's is typically high quality. The food court is incredibly variable. The jerk chicken place is solid as is the burger place. Overall, I'd say I gave it a three bc of the prices. I paid $12 for two rice and spam mitsubi. While I can accept NY prices this food court has over estimated how willing I am to spend on mediocre lunch fare. Be strategic on what you buy and confirm the the pictures on the menu are accurate to what you are buying.

DeKalb Mall food court one of the best in da city. Ok ok I am bias my real destination inside da market is Katz, that corned beef sandwich is absolutely Devine Mmmmmm. I am pissed cause that day I only brought 1. The other vendors are superb too. That's why it's one of the best in da city

Lots of shops and cafes with fresh baked yummy stuff. Picked up some sandwiches and almond croissant for a train ride we were going to take to visit NJ. Excellent sandwiches. Lots of other shops including Target and Trader Joe. Stopped at lululemon to pick up gift for my son in law . Finally decided on a tan beanie cap. They had lots of beanie cap choices. I got lucky as my son in law loved the gift!

Target is cool when you have to go but the food court down stairs is a must the fried pizza is everything and let's say there are a few dope spots I'm not giving up anything else you will have to find out for yourself 😉

Great mall in the middle of Fulton street. Come in for the A/C stay foe dekalb market. I highly recommend checking out the vendors downstairs and maybe stopping by the Alamo to watch the latest blockbuster. Target is conveniently here and so is trader joe's. It doesn't feel like much of a mall, but it has plenty to offer!

Growing up in Brooklyn we used to call this Albee Square Mall. It was different back then and I loved it! Today, with it's new name and stores, it's still fabulous. 😀

I went to City Point for a 90s themed event. I really enjoyed the community artist vibe on that day. Vendors were selling homemade goods, like candles, t-shirts, jewelry, etc. The highlight for me was the art gallery. There was also a photo booth.

It was a little tricky finding this gem for my daughter. Its next to the entrance to the mall. Even though she is 8, she had fun at the Cosmos store underground space exploration center. Definitely recommend for under 8.

Went to the cinema on the 4th floor. It was clean and the staff courteous and helpful, the seats were comfortable with amble space between them and the rows were easy to walk through. The refreshments had to be ordered from your seats but were delivered quickly and still warm or with ice

Need a few more visits to properly rate the place. Mostly visited 🎯 Target where purchased some t-shirts, grocery etc. Small if I were to compare with other target stores I have visited in California and Seattle but bigger than most of the other stores in the area and fairly useful nonetheless. As usual prices are reasonable.

I usually come here for trader Joe's but there is Target, and places to eat. The food at the various vender stalls looks delicious!

  • 5/5 Jasmin C (. 2 years ago on Google
There was four floors that I saw. It has target and the Alamo movie theatre in it. I didn't walk around to see more stuff but there was a lot on the first floor.

  • 4/5 Lisa M. 1 year ago on Google
It wasn't terribly crowded, so far. But the 4 stars is because it's way too hot inside! You have to be very uncomfortable wearing your coat or holding it and shopping... No thank you! All I wanted to do was get in & get out!! So I'm sure I missed a lot of nice things to buy.

  • 3/5 Shamika T. 1 year ago on Google
I come here because of it's convenient location to my home. I frequently shop @ Trader Joe's on the lower level, pop into Target and go to a movie upstairs every once and a while. I like the updates including the food court on the lower level but the portions can be small & the prices can be a bit much.

  • 3/5 DNice O. 2 years ago on Google
City Point Target is always low on groceries and water. Items never have a price label. The food variety sucks, standard label carb foods. No dedicated organic or vegan section. Store is located in the center of luxury buildings. Better to go to TJ’s or WF’s where pricing is better.

  • 5/5 Sola B. 1 year ago on Google
Whole building is nicely kitted out, but has a homey, friendly vibe, like it's well-utilized by the neighborhood. Accessibility is good: most areas are accessible by elevator and ramp, although some walkways are narrow (especially the food court area, and I did not see any accessible tables here), and I didn't poke my head into every shop.

  • 4/5 john g. 1 year ago on Google
The food court downstairs is expensive AF, but the food is good. Just not "gotta pay NY rent" good. Target is fine, and the bookstore is nice. And of course Alamo Drafthouse is fantastic.

  • 4/5 Arthur S. 1 year ago on Google
Used to only go to TJs and a restaurant owned by a friend in the basement food court, but this place grew on me. The new Primark store puts Target prices to shame, alas they don't have as much in the higher quality sector. Visit the books store, the second floor kids section is adorable. Look for their free studio space public events, which are by far the best part of the entire place (annual kids block party, Chinese new year celebrations, etc.)

  • 5/5 David M. 1 year ago on Google
Trader Joe's it's a no-brainer. I do like the food court out front. While this trader Joe's tends to be less packed some of the time, I would check with Google for the most opportune times to go.

  • 5/5 DIAMOND G. 1 year ago on Google
Love going here and visit I need all of the different delectable choices. It's a fun place to go take a walk and have so many choices ro pick from. It has always been busy ans I usually go during lunch. I love going to Trader Joe's! Always a treat!

  • 5/5 Susan S. 1 year ago on Google
Most helpful and polite Trader Joe there is. Great selection on everything. Fresh and tasty variety for all foodies. Definitely recommend for a pleasant shopping experience.

  • 4/5 JoAnn E. G. 10 months ago on Google
Trade Joe's is my place to shop for good products that are edible and economical in this tough economy. The workers are helpful and pleasant. I do enjoy shopping here.

  • 5/5 Tabitha S. 10 months ago on Google
I wish the stores on the upper level were less random and more practical. Food Market down below is a good time and frequent Alamo movie goer, although menu since Covid has been "meh."

  • 5/5 Sandie G. 9 months ago on Google
Trader Joe's is located in the basement in the back of the mall. It sells the same products as the other Trader Joe's. After checking out, they have staff that will assist you with your groceries upstairs if you need help. The staff is very friendly.

Food and store mall. In the baseman the eating area is large with different cooking and flavors. The employees are very friendly and willing to serve you as you request your food.
