Delice
and
Sarrasin
is
a
hidden
gem
in
New
York
City,
offering
a
vegan
French
culinary
experience
that
is
unparalleled.
The
attention
to
detail
in
both
presentation
and
flavor
is
extraordinary,
and
the
restaurant
successfully
captures
the
essence
of
traditional
French
cuisine
while
staying
true
to
its
vegan
ethos.
The
rustic
decor
is
a
delightful
homage
to
traditional
French
bistros,
creating
an
intimate
and
charming
atmosphere.
We
began
our
dining
experience
with
the
Escargots
Beurre
Maitre
D'hotel,
a
vegan
rendition
of
a
classic
French
dish.
These
snails,
made
from
plant-based
ingredients,
were
served
in
a
rich
garlic
and
herb-infused
butter
sauce.
The
Foie
Gras
Végétal
was
equally
impressive.
Served
with
crusty
bread
and
a
fig
jam,
it
offered
a
creamy,
savory
experience
reminiscent
of
traditional
foie
gras.
Special
mention
to
the
bread
–
it
was
amazing.Loved
both
the
starters,
each
bite
was
oozing
out
flavors.
For
our
main
courses,
we
ordered
the
Vegan
Coq
au
Vin
and
the
Pan
Seared
Scallops.
The
Coq
au
Vin
featured
succulent
"chicken
legs"
simmered
in
a
robust
red
wine
sauce
and
mushrooms.
The
scallops
were
perfectly
seared
and
tender,
with
a
garlicky
flavored
spinach.
Though
these
were
hearty,
flavorful
dishes
but
I
preferred
the
starters
much.
We
ended
our
dinner
with
the
Banana
Crepe,
a
sweet
and
satisfying
finale.
The
crepe
enveloped
roasted
bananas
and
was
drizzled
with
a
luscious
dark
chocolate
sauce.
It
was
the
perfect
ending
to
an
exceptional
dining
journey.
Delice
and
Sarrasin
is
a
must-visit
destination
that
will
transport
your
taste
buds
to
the
heart
of
France.
It
offers
a
premium
dining
experience,
the
quality
of
the
food,
the
impeccable
service,
and
the
unique
experience
make
it
well
worth
the
cost.
It's
an
unforgettable
culinary
odyssey
and
I
am
definitely
coming
back
again
to
try
more!
