Really good food here! We tried as much as we could and it was all solidly tasty! Everything from the chicken nuggets to shrimp and crab have unique flavorings and the sides (looking at you Mac an' Cheese) are delicious. Po' Boy Sandwich was great though I prefered the crab over the shrimp. Deserts are good. Especially the unique 🍪!

The food was good and all, but there was a glass like object in my sandwich. I would rather not have that in my sandwich. Very dangerous.

Wish we could have had the dine in, sit down experience at the previous location, but regardless the food was superb. Was our only meal of the day as we were on the move during our stay in NY. Got to meet Chef B and know more about the food and extensive preparation process for perfection. Ordered the All-In-One meal that included a bit of everything, which was enough to fee three people and not just the two of us. Can't complain, service was excellent as well and food was made quickly for us.

Taste wise, as a vegan I doubted if it was real fish after every bite, the stars are because it was even more delicious than real fish. But the fish steak you get for $25 is BARELY the size of a side dish. It’s crazy, I’ve eaten in some of Manhattans most expensive vegan restaurants but at least I got my moneys worth. The place is worth the try if you’re into that, but otherwise go if you got a lot of money to spare on a barely filling side dish

The food was really phenomenal. Seasoned to perfection. Had a great waiter. Only downside was we waited a really long time for our food and my entree came first and my dates entree came almost 20 min after mine. However we both felt the meal was totally worth the wait. This is a place a meat eater could truly appreciate.

The food is very very good!! The sandwich was only $9.50, it’s a great value for the quality of food you receive. I ordered the SV chicken nugget sandwich, and it had everything you would want in a sandwich: plenty of sauce, a perfectly fried protein, and fresh lettuce and tomato. The food was also made very quick. If you’re visiting the east village location, this is a counter-serve restaurant. I think this location includes reviews from their brick and mortar, so it can be confusing if you skim through the reviews. I highly recommend you visit this place, vegan or not. So glad they decided to open this up in east village. I will continue to come :)

As of 8/20/22 they are still not Dine-in, I am assuming due to Covid, despite saying so on Google. I wish I had known this before an out-of-state travel to try this place. My friend and I were both willing to excuse the Google mix-up if it hadn’t been for other issues. The biggest one being the horrible customer service. There was no one at the front window, but a gentleman standing off to the side apparently prepping online/pick-up orders. He never greeted us and when we asked about dining-in, he was extremely rude with his response. Flatly saying that it had been this way for two years (as if we were supposed to know that). Well after having decided on our order, my friend and I had to ask if we could place it with him since he still hadn’t come over to the window to assist us. Overlooking the passive-aggressive attitude, once our order was ready, we were then given the lovely addition that they didn’t have utensils. With a blank face“I can give you a lot of napkins. Or you can go across the street to ask for utensils at the corner store”. The food was good, yes. But I will never go back as long as they have employees working there who clearly hate their job and have no customer service skills. I understand mistakes happen, but accountability, and an “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” would’ve gone a long way. Blossom Du’Jour is a better option if you are looking for good vegan meals in the city without the attitude. It just sucks because I would rather support black owned.

Seasoned Vegan just does it for me EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!! This is such a great restaurant for those that want to eat healthier options. I’m always so satisfied when I go here! The customer service is beautiful 🥇 I’d recommend the Harlem Chop cheese with Mac & Cheese for dinner it’s very filling!!!! I got the Chicken Parm just a few days ago an that was literally so freaking good!! 10/10. If you got a sweet tooth like me I’d recommend the Chocolate Pecan cookie it’s Fire! I promise you will not regret spending money here it’s never a long wait either. 💯🔥🔥🔥

As a fan of the original Seasoned Vegan I was very excited for them to open this East Village location. I tried the lemon crusted nuggets (with the uptown tangy sauce), the Craw Pretzel Boy sandwich and the BBQ Craw sandwich. Everything was delicious. The portions are substantial and the prices very affordable. I will be back. Often.

Hubby and I finally had Seasoned Vegan yayyy! I’ve been wanting it for sooo long, but unfortunately we live too far away (Inwood) for delivery, so we ordered pick up on a Saturday during Labor Day weekend and got on the A/C train to pick it up. I chose the following for us to share: - lemon crusted chicken nuggets (4) with bbq sauce $10.50 - po’boy sandwich $13 - bbq crawfish sandwich $13 - lemon crusted fish steak with baked mac & cheese and sweet potato souflee $25 Everything was delicious!!! It’s probably better for our wallet and figure that we can’t order delivery, because I would be ordering on a weekly basis! I truly truly enjoyed the food and I look forward to our next order to pick up!

I was very pleased when I was finally able to eat from this establishment. Can I just say they live up to their name. My child and I ordered two different meals. EVERYTHING was soooo good. So tasty. We actually tasted each other's meal. Mac and cheese vegan style has not always been prepared correctly. Their's is very close to mine(except they bake theirs Thank you. Compliments to the chef and we will be back.

I know you shouldn’t judge a restaurant by their takeout alone, but I have to say if the takeout is this amazing, I will probably die from deliciousness when they reopen their dining room. I got the lemon fish steak entree with caper rice and broccoli. Oh. Em. Gee. Everything was bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to go back. Oh, and the staff were equally wonderful!

The food is good but their portions are way too small. See picture below for chicken Parmesan sandwich, which is about half the size of a regular sandwich and seems excessive for $17. They are very kind and their desserts are delicious.

I was always a fan of Seasoned Vegan’s uptown restaurant, so was happy to see that they have reopened a location downtown serving their signature vegan soul food. A small menu but the options are inventive, food is delicious and well-portioned. Quick service lives up to its name! Note that there is currently no seating, so this is a take out spot. I ordered the Craw Pretzel Boy but was too excited to eat it and forgot to take a photo. I hope that word gets out and Seasoned Vegan Real Quick has the success th deserves.

I’m not Vegan and don’t often do Vegan/Vegetarian food, but like to once in awhile and I must say this place was pretty great. The Nefertiti Salad was delicious and the staff were friendly and service was kind as well as prompt and professional. The spot offers a nice and relaxed atmosphere plus a lot of options for customizing your dish to your liking. Great dressing on the salad too!

Just stopped by to grab something to go in passing. I barely ever write reviews but the food is too too good at this spot not to 🙌🏾 I can’t recommend this place enough. Hands down some of the most flavorful tasty AMAZING vegan food I’ve ever tasted (and I try the most plant based spots I possibly can in whichever city/country I’m in). I ordered a crawfish sandwich. Juicy with the right spice blend and the most heavenly sauce (y’all need to bottle that lol). I was assisted by Aaron that was super warm and welcoming, the place is beyond pristine and I was surprised by how affordable it was being it’s in Manhattan. GO!!!! 🥰

I was walking to a vegan pizza place and I totally stumbled upon this place accidentally. So glad I did, such a cute cozy and royal color eaterie. And guess what my viewers 😏 THEY ARE BLACK OWNED. 👸🏾🥳🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 super excited i spent my money here and the food was so delicious. The server was so helpful because i didn't know what to order and she was very patient with me. I finally decided to order the regular crawfish pretzel boy meal and a ginger brew. Anywho this beautiful seasoned aged black woman offered her seat to me, but I didn't except just because she looked really into her work. Shortly after she offered again, and this time did not take no for an answer so I caved in. (LOL) Moments later my meal was ready and it came in this cute cardboard lunch box with a cute scratch off attached (can't wait to see if i won)... OMGEEZY this meal was soooooo delicious 😋 😊 ☺️ 🤗, i couldn't even finish it all, so, so, so, soooooo good, i have to return. Packing the rest of my meal to go whiles the server compliments me on my locs. We chatted a bit about them, than the same lady who gave me her seat chimes in the conversation with compliments as well. The server introduced her and, such a surprise, guess what yall? The whole time she was the owner of this cozy eaterie. #isthatnotcustomerserviceorwhat #blackened #blackfemaleowned #sv #seasonedvegan #seasonedveganrealquick #blackownedbusiness #veganeatsrealquick #sogood #goodgood

Small space and simple aesthetics. The house burger and fries were great but a bit on the expensive side imo. Great service!

I don’t get the hype, it felt like overpriced fried junk, the fries were overly oily, the mac and cheese lacked depth in flavoring. The bites had nice snacky textures and tasted alright. I did like the ginger soda. If I was drunk after a night out and craved a forth meal, then maybe I’d appreciate this place, they are open till early AM hours. Update, the red velvet cupcake was delicious and was devoured mercilessly, maybe barbarically. I’d post the photo of the remains but it’s far too gruesome of a murder scene.

My favorite meal so far in NYC. The craw pretzel boy was amazing – didn't even know burdock root existed before coming, but the way the prepare it is 🤌 A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. High quality food made with real ingredients. Will definitely return when I'm back in NYC! Also, staff was super helpful and friendly!

Small food stop in the village. I highly recommend them. Very lovely girl working the counter and the chef also came to the counter and offered a sample because I wasn’t sure what to order. The vibes are like family. Good vegan eats, highly recommend the chicken nugget and/or crawfish.

I’ve only had food here via delivery, but omg it is so good! The macaroni and cheese was so delicious I had to call the restaurant to confirm it was really vegan. They probably think I’m nuts but I just couldn’t believe it. Also had the chickpea tuna sandwich on a baguette which was very flavorful and a good size serving.

I can't say enough great things about this little hole in the wall. The atmosphere here instantly draws you in. It's warm and inviting, and the energy in this place makes you feel as if you've entered a different dimension. The staff greets you with a warm smile and friendly demeanor, and the food is out of this world phenomenal. We tried the nuggets, fried craw, and crispy fries. Everything was seasoned unlike anything we've ever tasted before. This place knows what they're doing when it comes to business and food all around!

Insanely good. I got the Harlem Chopped Cheese Burger, and it was so delectable. A little messy to eat on the go, but I persevered. I’ve also gotten the SV Nugget Sandwich and the Craw Pretzel Boy, and they were both scrumptious. One of the best vegan restaurants in the city tbh… the burgers are so juicy/smokey and satisfying. Quick, too— I ordered online and 5 minutes later, it was ready. Will go back to try their Mac & Cheese!

I just went to the new location on 2nd Ave and I think I’ll be going here at least once a week. Their menu is a lot smaller than the old location in Harlem so hopefully they are able to maybe add some sides to the menu at some point but just having affordable and amazing vegan food in the area is something this neighborhood has been seriously lacking since Atlas closed. I got the bbq sandwich and my partner got the nugget one. Both amazing. Fries were seasoned perfectly and not too greasy. We’ll be back.

It's great to have a vegan restaurant close to home. A delightful team and friendly people. We ordered the chicken Parm, BBQ Crawfish, nuggets, sweet potato souffle and a cookie. All delicious and we'll be coming back very soon for more!

Absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and down to earth, the food was amazing for my first time at a Vegan restaurant, and the atmosphere was perfect for whatever the occasion may be. The sauteed spinach and broccoli were off the chain and I enjoyed my sweet chili chicken. I also got to taste the portobello mushrooms and that was also really good. I would come back again next time I visit the city.

This was a great little find after a long day! The po boy sandwich was really flavorful - the bread to filling ratio was perfect! the mac and cheese didn't disappoint either. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

I recently tried vegan food for the first time, and I'm so glad I chose this place! The experience was amazing, from the delightful flavors to the captivating aroma. The spot is not only very good but also beautifully designed. Highly recommended!

You MUST try the Mac and cheese. 10/10. Also the broccoli is amazing. However, I wish they’d open seating back up!! Discovered this place post covid so have only gotten pick up/delivery so far and I’d love to be able to dine in.

Great spot with some amazing vegan food. The vegan chicken nuggets are probably the best chicken nuggets I've ever had, even compared to meat options. They just have so much flavor! The staff are very nice as well. I wish I discovered this place before the pandemic so I could experience this place while dining in.

  • 5/5 T S. 2 years ago on Google
You can always rely on this spot to deliver delicious vegan soul food. Their soy “chicken” nuggets are amazing, as well as the sweet potatoes and the Mac and cheese which I think is made from cashew cheese. Love it here!!!

  • 5/5 Maciek K. 6 months ago on Google
Amazing food. The crawfish burger (#1) was the best we've ever eaten (a burger in general). Juicy, meaty, crunchy. BBQ Po'boy, lemon chicken nuggets and fries - all really good. Southern kitchen vegan experience we've craved, now achieved :) Wishing all the best and progress to the place.

What an amazing vegan spot! My boyfriend and I went last night and got the chicken parm sandwich, harlem chopped cheeseburger, mac & cheese, and raw cheesecake -everything was delicious!! Highly recommended. Kind staff and cool atmosphere. (2019) Update: went back last night for takeout. Harlem chopped cheese, BBQ crawfish, chicken nuggets, and two cupcakes: biscoff and lemon poppy. All so delicious!!!

I’m non vegan, but tried the the crawfish yesterday and it was really, really good. From flavour to texture to the way it was cooked. The sauce was great to! Very impressive product! Highly recommend!

Great and amazing flavors!!! Wether you’re plant based or not you will love the food here. We came in during the COVID19 pandemic so had to get the orders to go. I recommend the po boy sandwich that has lots of Louisiana style seasonings. Took a little longer than expected, which isn’t a bad thing. Must mean that they were getting lots of orders. The price was a little but more than what we were expecting to pay for the portion sizes. No complaints. Would come back to try the food and check out the atmosphere next time! 😊

  • 5/5 Michelle D. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic po' boy sandwich!! I recommend getting the one with both "shrimp" and "crawfish". Certainly will be coming back to try more of the menu!

  • 4/5 ernestine l. 1 year ago on Google
Food was good. 8/10. Macaroni a bit bland, rice was seasoned well, meatballs were okay. The takeout bag felt light and they didnt put any utensils for use. It's okay. Portions were small so I ended up getting vegan pizza afterwards from Screamers. Definitely had better but still go and support this black owned business!

  • 5/5 Gabriella F. 4 years ago on Google
I love this spot. The vibe is always awesome. I have been on several occasions and the food is always amazing. Their sangria is the best. Try it. I have brought carnivores to this spot who have been pleasantly surprised. I have never had a meal I didn't love. I think I love raw vegan "cheesecake" more than the real thing.

The placed smelled of bug spray the menu had masking tape over the items that weren't available and it was very dark inside it didn't give me that warm and fuzzy feeling.

This weekend I had a chance to visit the Seasoned Vegan Real Quick location (i’ll have to go to the one in Harlem when I have more time). 1. The service was great. The guy working the front was very friendly and I felt super welcomed (it almost felt like I was back home in North Carolina). 2. Lawddd the food was good. I was debating about getting the craw sandwich,, as I’ve never tried burdock root, but the texture was so good and not mushy. The flavor and seasonings lived up to the restaurant’s name. 3. The decor and set up for the dining area was perfect for the smaller space it didn’t seem too tight, and the outdoor seating is a plus. Great vibes
