Came here for brunch and wanted to try the burger! It did not disappoint. Id say its one of the best burgers in the city! Wife had the steak and eggs which was cooked to perfection. The donuts were ok, flavor was good but kind of dry. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended!

Yum!! Great food here, good service, and nice ambience indoor and out. We really enjoyed the sausage kale pizza. Also the potato bread was AMAZING! The servers were always quick and good about refilling our drinks. I wish they had more items from their brunch menu on their dinner menu, specifically the burger. But still a great experience.

Great ambiance, very good service and good food! The skirt steak was by far the best thing we got. Everything else was solid. We got 2 desserts and both were mediocre/bad so I would skip on dessert but otherwise this is a good spot!

Walked in here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the good service and awesome food options. Duck wings and the cacio e pepe are awesome, and the nutter butter cookies are dangerously addictive. Overall solid spot for a meal in the city!

Came here with a work group. Quickly seated group of 6 on a Wednesday dinner. Food was really really good. The salmon was the prettiest and tastiest piece of fish I've had in a long time. Salads were huge and fresh. Amazing bread. Coworkers had some pizzas and pasta which looked very good. Black Forrest cake was decadent. My only knock was it was loud and beer list is rather small at 4 regional beers.

Upland is the perfect spot to taste the American flavors. This Californian inspired restaurant did not disappoint. Although I only ordered take out from them, the food was still warm and very fresh. Their pasta was the perfect consistency. Not too soft, not too hard. The sausage adds savoriness and the kale def absorbed some flavors too. Overall this was an amazing dish, don't regret having this. Can't wait visit and sit in next time

Really nice spot with thoughtful ambiance. Staff were very nice and helpful. Drinks were tasty and food was prompt. My favorite dish was the melt in mouth short rib. Everything tasted fresh and filling We went with a few friends would definitely go again.

My friend and I stopped were looking for a place to get lunch during a break, and happened to walk past Upland. We came in and were greeted by the host who sat us promptly. Our servers were very attentive and constantly refilled our water and checked up on us. I don’t really get how the menu works, if it was seasonal or not, but we got the tartare for apps and a burger and salad for mains (my friend wasn’t that hungry). The tartare, you can pass on. It wasn’t all that great. The burger was great and filling also loved the fries that came with it. Also nothing too special about the salad. My one complaint, the food took too long. Honestly got a little irritated with how slow our mains took, but our servers were very apologetic and did their best, so what can I really complain about. Overall, the place is fine, but I probably wouldn’t come again.

The service and atmosphere were both incredible! The waiters were very sweet and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t impress. It felt like the food was trying too much but missed the mark, resulting in a dining experience that was neither wholly satisfying nor novel. I felt full after finishing my meal, but it didn’t wow me. It wasn’t a meal worth remembering. Green Zebra Pizza: Okay Salmon: Overcooked Artichokes: Good Banana Cream Pie: Good The “Good” dishes in this meal was the side and the dessert. Again, the service was wonderful, and this with the ambience made the dinner quite pleasant overall. But, given how many options there are in NYC, I wouldn’t come here again.

Very nice place with exquisite food and nice atmosphere. Depending on the dish the portion can be very different. Based on our guess everything under One is a smaller portion while Two are bigger as full meal. The steak and eggs were good. California BEC is more like an egg breakfast, but the crisp potatoes was really good. Beef tartare is not the best I have had. Doughnut is quite big and dense so make sure you save enough space for it if ordering. However one thing not quite up to standard is the service. We waited for quite long to order and being ignored even after waving to the server for three times. Not the level of service I expected for such a upscale restaurant.

Absolutely delicious! Went for brunch and the donuts were amazing. I also ordered the jalapeño biscuit breakfast sandwich and it was very good. Service was super attentive. We left out to go bag and the waiter chased after us so we wouldn’t forget it. Definitely recommend!

Man if I tell you I drive two hours just to go get these pancakes 🥞 you’d think I lie. But absolutely Not. These are by far the best pancake I ever had, light, Fluffy, Savory and Delicious 🤤! The service at Upland is never a disappointment. The first time I went there Molly helped us and this time Chris was our server and he was nothing less than Exceptional. His attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure you get that personable experience, was perfect. He ensure to connect with us from the moment we walked in until we left the table. We we’re not rushed and we also had great food. The brunch burger was amazing. The skirt steak was good it wasn’t the best I’ve had so I’ll be looking forward to try something else. We saw those eye catching donuts 🍩 and we wanted to try them and so far far they’re like the twins of the amazing pancakes from there.

Wow wow wow! This place was so delicious and incredible. Had such a good meal. The space is so beautiful and easy. Felt very comfortable and had a great time. Staff was super nice. I’m not usually a fan of pasta but this was out of this world. Also the appetizers were just A+++. Will def be back!

Beautiful interior and good service, but expected a bit more from the food. The bread is very good, and we liked the Caesar salad. Pizza was good, not great and cacio e pepe was okay. The apple crumble was disappointing, very little crumble and served kind of cold.

The food was pretty good, but the aggressive bussers really dampened the meal. The bussers literally kicked my foot everytime they came up to the table. Then gave us attitude when we asked to keep one of the plates, stating "Thats why I asked, if you were done" Food running was rough as plates were just dropped at the table and plates clanking into each other as they were shoving them across the table to make room. Unlikely to repeat.

Had lunch here recently and was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff were attentive and helpful. Everyone from our server to the busser were on top of their game. The ambiance was warm and inviting (especially appreciated on a chilly winter day!). There were so many enticing menu options, yet we decided to split the vodka pizza and the lobster cavatelli. Collectively this was the perfect portion for the two of us, and both items were absolutely delicious! This restaurant was very close to our hotel, which is partially why I selected it, but the food and experience was enjoyable enough that I'd be happy to seek it out on a future visit even if we aren't staying nearby.

Service = Not massively attentive, asked for more bread and got ignored, then right at the end said there wasn't anymore. It's quite stingy to give a tiny piece of bread for 4 people (I know it was for "free" but still) Food = The octopus starter was great, super well cooked and the flavours really complimented each other. However, the king salmon was so disappointing - completely under seasoned and the accompanying components just tasted like one mush with no distinctive flavours or textures. Also no spoon was provided to taste the sauce/broth. Ambience = Super crowded even on a weekday evening, hard to hear each other and particularly hard to get a server. Definitely not a relaxing environment. Overall verdict = Wouldn't go again and don't recommend if you want a nice relaxing meal.

Once I walked in, I thought the place looked so cute. I love the atmosphere!!! The service was amazing. Our server was super patient and answered all of our questions. As a table, we shared the Margherita Pizza and Little Gem Salad. So good and flavorful. I got the Cacio e Pepe. Loved it. Perfect amount of seasoning and appreciated the al dente cook. Beautiful and tasty desserts too! My whole table loved their food. We were all thoroughly impressed. Will definitely be back!!

The restaurant has a very nice decor with few booths at the back and some smaller tables by the large windows. I came on a Wednesday for lunch and it was quiet with a nice atmosphere. I had the salmon with pistachios and an espresso. It came pretty raw but I liked it. I had grapefruit on the side and it was actually very tasty. A bit expensive but it was very relaxing.

We had a really good experience dining here. We made reservations so didn’t have to wait, the place was packed on a Friday night. The staff is very friendly, and the service was quick. The food was really good, the bread they serve is outstanding, for mains we tried the cauliflower, and pizzas and liked everything. The dessert however was just okay, it wasn’t bad but didn’t deliver to the high standards the food had set. We’ll definitely be back

This restaurant is good, but nothing extraordinary for the price. I came here for brunch on a Saturday with friends- each of us got an entree and coffee and we shared a bottle of sparkling wine. Overall the meal was good, but the restaurant can get crowded and the food is not particularly flavorful.

Upland proved to be a wonderful discovery during our recent stay in NYC, conveniently situated just across the street from our hotel. We found ourselves returning on two separate nights of our four night trip, and both experiences were consistently excellent. I opted for the Bianca Pizza, while my wife had the Crispy Duck Wings; both dishes were a hit each time. The Burnt Cheesecake for dessert was nothing short of phenomenal. The service, was super friendly, further elevating our dining experience. We'll undoubtedly be back on our next trip to NYC.

Kind staff, hostess was great, and service was courteous. Unfortunately, the recommendation was lack luster. The leaf mix was on point with 5 varieties of leafy greens, but the rest of the salad didn’t deliver, chalk it up to an $18 side salad.

My family and I went there to celebrate my brother’s birthday. The food was spectacular and incredible. Definitely must come back to try other dishes. Everything from the front staff, to the wait staff and all the cooks in the kitchen. ☺️ we were blown away with the warm and delightful attention. We appreciate EVERYONE’S hard work into making our dinner so special. Thank you 😊. FYI the Crispy duck wings was my favorite 😍 but we ate it all before I could take a picture to share.

We made a reservation for Saturday brunch but may not have needed to since the restaurant was relatively empty. Our server was great and super knowledgeable about our religious dietary restrictions and was happy to answer our questions about the menu. He also recommended the donuts which were SO good, especially the hazelnut one!

Nice restaurant overall. Prices are wayyy too high. The steak we had from the steak and eggs for brunch was minuscule but was good (very tough). Burrata was good only 2 pieces of bread for $22. Pizza was actually a generous size and pretty good more of a California style with a large crust. Also side is $4.50 no refills (I know that’s typical for this area but would be nice to see on the menu). Overall fine experience l.

First time here and it definitely won’t be my last… Food was amazing… Moved to the city a few years ago and haven’t found a spot with good NYC pizza until Upland. They surpassed my expectations. The drinks were amazing and the staff was very respectful and attentive to customers. The atmosphere was insane, it was about a 10 minute wait period to get seated. Robust the entire night. I will be back without a doubt

The service is five stars. The dinner is five stars. Everything is five stars. I wish I can give them more than five stars. If you have a nice day or you love your wife a lot take her to this place and look her in the eyes while you’re eating and drinking.

Wish i could give more than 5 stars! This place was immaculate in all categories, service was amazing at the bar by Nicole especially being observant of my girlfriend due to her shellfish allergy. We stopped in for quick lunch but were quickly impressed by all this spot has to offer. We got a couple drinks to start that were well made and strong. We followed up with Buratta appetizer and little gem salad, both very impressive and recommended by bartender Nicole. We finished off with vodka pizza which was bomb. So happy to find this hidden gem on a whim and will most definitely be back!

Solid midtown brunch spot. Highly recommend the buttermilk pancakes. They’re quite big so it’s good to share. Eggs In Hell was delicious. The Spanish and Feta Omelette was very good too!

Loved the vibe. The food was fine. The cacio e pepe was a little too al dente for my taste and not as flavorful as expected. The cauliflower was good, but wasn’t as special as I expected. A solid spot if you are looking for a good social spot and are in the area.

Above average new American food. Great service. Cozy elegant vibe. Beef tartare’s acidity flavor was too strong and smoked egg yolk was too salty. Octopus’s flavor was good but somehow felt like separated from the rest ingredients. Bread and butter were delightful. Salmon was high quality but the squash was overcooked. Lobster cavatelli was a bit salty. Mushroom pizza with hazelnut was tasty.

Food and drinks were good , they used fresh ingredients. The salad tasted really good had fresh ingredients and a nice dressing, but the bucatini was very plain without the fresh pepper so the main flavor was the cheese. The this a good place to have business lunch meeting have lunch with friends . Would not go there for the food .

The elegant decor and soft lighting at the restaurant created a fantastic ambiance, which made for a warm and welcoming dining experience. The attentive and friendly staff also provided great service throughout the meal. Regrettably, the only downside was that some of the dishes were affected by the excessive saltiness of the food, which impacted their overall taste. Nonetheless, the service made up for flaw.

Perfect and chilled ambience. Good service and nice menu. Italian dishes and it’s not Californian. Newly take over few months ago and fully fledged Italian. I had a pasta dish and wine. Both were devine.

Good food. The donuts were great, little gem salad was delicious and the pizza was perfect. Cacio y Pepe is not my favorite but the bartender convinced me to try it. That proved a solid recommendation. The bartender fumbled however by forgetting our linens, pepper and Togo boxes.

Fantastic date spot! Theres a bar area with good cocktails in the front, and then restaurant style seating for groups and couples in the back. The steak wasnt my favorite. Its a high end restaurant so theyve gotta offer high end entres - but that was not the best choice. The pizza was fantastic! 4 slices. Slightly larger than a personal pie. Very light, pillowy, restaurant style pizza. The duck wings fell off the bone. Interesting taste. The drink was good. The food was all delicious but the real standout was the layout and the service. Very professional and accommodating wait staff and bartenders. Weird observation - but the lighting was also really good for date night.

Great burger, salted throughout Roth cheese between patties. Didn't do peppers and avocado on mine. Aioli has cilantro in it. Fries are thin and crispy, very nice. Blueberry pancakes fluffy and delicious!

Main dinning room was busy and pretty loud on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily we go the table in the cellar that’s more quiet and intimate. Buratta was good, it was refreshing with the mixed berries. Salmon Benedict was standard. Skirt steak with egg was surprisingly great! Cooked to perfectly medium rare, tender, very flavorful with generous portion that we couldn’t finish. Yum!

Wow! This place was great! Pizza was fantastic, the pasta incredible, the artichokes were out of this world! We even topped it off with the cheesecake which was just the right finish to it all. Cocktails were a great complement and overall a great experience. I wish our server made more recommendations and guided us more in the decision making process but we didn't choose wrong based on the results! Def would bring people back!

Flew all the way up from Miami Beach to revive a night in this establishment. As expected the food and service are from another planet. Why did you close down there? It was our spot with my wife 3 nights a week...we miss you.
