The food is always good at Ocean Prime. They can do no wrong. My favorites are the dynamite rolls, crab cake, snapper ND don't forget dessert. That warm butter cake and 10 layer carrot cake will change your life!

My Significant 🥰 Other took me to Ocean Prime for my Birthday. We had a splendid time. The food was delicious and visually perfect. When we entered the restaurant; we were greeted by the jovial ladies at the front desk. Then, we were taken to our seats. The atmosphere of the restaurant was romantic, quaint , and warm. We felt so comfortable at the restaurant. ⭐️ Miles was our Waiter. He was professional and charming. One of the managers name Aaron came to our table to greet us. He asked us “ how are you enjoying your experience at Ocean Prime? “. Aaron was also charming and professional. Later, Nicole B. came to our table. She greeted us with a lovely , welcoming smile. She asked us “ How are you two doing ? Are you enjoying your time at Ocean Prime? “. She was bubbly and friendly. I felt comfortable telling her my Significant Other took me to see The Michael Jackson show on Broadway. I told her it was my birthday. She was so sweet to decorate our table with birthday confetti. Nicole also surprised us with a glass of Champagne. Also, my dessert was decorated with a special birthday touch. ⭐️Nicole , ⭐️Miles, ⭐️Aaron and the ⭐️ladies at the front desk made me and my Significant Other feel SPECIAL & APPRECIATED. We will dine again at Ocean Prime. 💫

Very impressive. Great service, delicious desert and cute atmosphere. I would definitely come back here. We were greeted with all smiles and the presentation was top tier. I genuinely have no complaints. I was satisfied and pleased with everything. The deserts were the highlight. We tried all of them and my body was dancing from the inside out. The food is okay, nothing really to brag about. The ambience is beautiful definitely love the atmosphere. The drinks are great would recommend. However, brought my boyfriend here for his birthday & he didn't want dessert the waitress expressed it would be on the house it totally wasn't they still charged me for it. Lol but whatever, anything for my man.

I don't know why I haven't contributed about this restaurant since we've been here many times & genuinely love Ocean Prime. It has been one of our favorites. Fresh seafood & good steak. There are 100's of great restaurants/steakhouses in the Midtown Theater District. OP is in my Top 5! I highly recommend a visit while in this part of the City!!

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The ambiance is beautiful it’s warm and quiet it was perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary which everyone acknowledge. The food was delicious we ordered crab cakes for an appetizer, Teriyaki salmon for our entrees one with rice and the other with garlic mash potato. I had the black orchid drink which was really smooth and flavorful. My husband had their lemonade which he said was refreshing. Since we were celebrating our anniversary they gave us dessert on the house I had the 10 layer carrot cake it was scrumptious and he had the creme brûlée which was good. My only disappointment was I didn’t finish my salmon entree so the waiter said he would take it and wrap it up to go but unfortunately I never received it, the only thing that was in the bag was my carrot cake.

This was an immaculate experience! The service was amazing and our waitress went above and beyond. We even ordered more because she gave us recommendations based on what we liked. We were allowed to sample taste the wine before purchasing the wine as well which made it easier for my husband and I to make a choice. The lobster bisque was delicious and I highly recommend. The Brussels sprouts as well! Everything we ordered was scrumptious and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience on our wedding anniversary. Thank you to our waitress Alexa and Ocean Prime for such great service and giving us a wonderful memorable experience.

My initial review based on my communication with the group dining office would have been a ZERO. However, the restaurant itself was amazing. I tried to get a private room for our company holiday dinner thru their private dining email and had a less than happy experience with someone there. When making my reservation on OpenTable, I added a special request asking if the Rockefeller were available then we would love to have it. when we arrived, it was, and they placed us in there with no additional fees or minimums. Victor our waiter was AMAZING, the drinks and appetizers were fantastic, the desert was delicious. (special shout out to the deviled eggs and crab cake) our only problem was that the entree portions were a little small. The sea bass and salmon were really small pieces for the price, although delicious. the Tomahawk Steak was SURPRISINGLY small, despite being advertised at 36oz. i seriously doubt that it was, and for $170? there were about 9 small slices of steak. I was very disappointed in that. we will be back...but wont order the Tomahawk.

Phenomenal service above and beyond what I expected for a restaurant of this class. The Berries and Bubbles are a must try. I love that they offered popcorn as a gluten-free alternative to a bread basket. I had sushi as an appetizer, which was everything I was hoping for. Their entrees were expertly cooked as well, I can't wait to try more of their menu. Their "outdoor" dining area is fully enclosed, protected from the wind, equipped with space heaters, and is well decorated.

Ocean Prime was great! The service was amazing, the staff is kind, friendly and attentive. There is no wait for food and the taste of the food is simply divine. It was so peaceful and calming, you don’t want to leave. I loved this experience and I can’t wait to go back.

Outstanding service that makes everyone feel like a big shot. The food hits on all notes, especially the hamachi crudo and black truffle Mac - both of which I'd say are 'must order's . Excellent cocktails and a gorgeous long marble bar. Real power lunch atmosphere but not exclusive in any way. My partner and I are queer and dress in a way most would call 'flamboyant' and yet we were treated just as well as the power lunch suit crowd. Not always the case in these places!

The absolute best service I've ever had at a dining establishment. The French Onion Soup was so savory. The NY Strip was amazing. It was flavorful and tender. Twice baked potatoes are delicious. So accommodating of any little request one may have. That carrot cake, I've never had anything quite like it! Hands down my new favorite spot in the City.

King Crab Legs were the most succulent that I've ever experienced. This place can be very expensive but just enjoy the ride. If you are a seafood person this place is a must try in NY.

This Midtown mainstay is a solid selection for steak and seafood. The crowd is mostly business. Perfect for business/client dinners and luncheons. All seasons outside seating is a plus! Interiors have private dining rooms with casual seating and bar in the front and dining room in the back with vaulted ceilings. Decor is dark, wood and iron. The food is well prepared, timely and tasty. You wont be steered wrong with any menu selection. Service is as expected, polite, patient and courteous. A dependable destination in Midtown.

Ocean Prime hands down 5 star chick ok! This was the best restaurant I'd gone to in a while. I accompanied a few friends for a birthday dinner and it was my first time here. My socks were blown offfffff, the 14 OZ NEW YORK STRIP was so juicy and melted in my mouth, LITERALLY. The ROASTED GARLIC MASHED POTATOES were so creamy and garlic-y UGH. Now are you really friends if you don't share apps? That lobster mac and cheese to die for! The crab cake sent me to the moon and back it was so good ! If this is an option make it the ONLY ONE.

The sea bass was amazing and the signature drink with dry ice was nicely balanced and not too sweet. The halibut wasn't as good as other things we got there in the past. The service is always amazing. I do think the portions are too large. I desperately want to try the butter cake but never save room.

Avoided Times Square crowds and enjoyed a delicious lunch before a matinee show. Everything was delicious! I had the salmon and tuna poke bowl - yum! Pretzel bread was warm and not overly salty. Beautiful decor and terrific service. I’ll be returning often!

The staff are well trained professionals who provide a distinct attention to detail. We’ve had everything on the menu during our multiple visits. It's a perfect place for surf and turf. The fish are caught of the boat fresh and perfectly prepared. The steaks are plentiful and just as well prepared. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere at the bar fun and loud while the rest of the place is bit calmer.

We wanted a traditional US Steakhouse experience, with steaks, lobster, shrimps etc. We had booked an early dinner and with the bar and patio already busy on a Thursday we took that as a good sign. My husband and I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the past. Everything is great and we intend to return. I just subtracted one star in service because we asked to have our Ribeye to be boxed and they completely forgot. I still recommend this restaurant to others but next time I will definitely insist on bringing my leftover despite the fact that it's a bit embarrassing to be in a business meeting and having to remind them about our request.

Great seafood restaurant. Outstanding service and an extensive seafood and steak menu. We were here for Mother’s Day brunch which was exceptional. The lobster eggs Benedict was the best. Don’t forget the blood orange mimosas!

Terrible service! We booked two weeks ago for a big groups and didn’t let us know that we couldn’t sit all together until the day of right before the reservation. Even when empty tables around Brian the manager did not want to help us sit together. Don’t bother coming here.

So I came here with my friend to celebrate a birthday and they sat us on separate tables far away from each other. We tried to get them to at least sit us more together and the denied us that. Brian the manager gave me creepy vibes and did not want to listen to us. He was very rude and even grunted at us and everything. He stated it was “CDC guidelines” but honestly there were bigger parties sitting together. Horrible experience here. Will never come back.

I wanted to love this meal so much But it’s hard to ignore the hostess forgetting about your reservation for 30 minutes. I will say the carrot cake was the star of the evening. Absolutely amazing. The ribeye was great as well. Nice wine and a booth tucked away from the center tables was great. The bar area was nice as well while we waited. I’d advise against the Tom Collins as it was 90% crushed ice.

It feels like I'm in Korea right now because the atmosphere of this restaurant is Korean inspired. I really love the foods here because each of them really tastes great. Indeed, a beautiful spot for some Korean barbeques and anything else. I will surely come back and bring my family or friends with me the next time around. THANKS!

I recently visited this place just to see what’s new and have a nice time with my wife. The onion soup and the Caesar salad were incredible, the place is very nice and we really love a lot of service. I recommend to celebrate Valentine’s Day, anniversary, or some special occasion, with a good dress code is important. For the cold weather they have a closet where you can leave your coats at no additional cost just remember to leave a tip 👍

My partner and I are both in the restaurant industry so sometimes it’s hard for us to find a restaurant we enjoy through and through. OCEAN PRIME is one of THESE restaurants. From the Dragon Roll, Steak Tartare, Scallops, Steak & DONT forget the butter cake. We have been multiple times and never are we disappointed. ALYSSA is a five start server from personality, knowledge & speed SHE is who you want to sit with for a perfect experience! Can’t wait to go back asap!!! Thanks ocean prime for giving us a neighborhood restaurant we call home.

If you want to try everything, then brace your wallet and make sure you have an empty stomach, because the portions are relatively big for a Michelin star (especially the sides). The filet mignon is pretty good. If you order medium rare it does come on the rarer side (which I was fine with but keep in mind if you order). Don’t get it with truffle butter though, it’s underwhelming for $11. Friends who ordered the seafood (scallops) said they were good. The warm butter cake is very good and I highly recommend saving room for dessert to have it. Come on your birthday though, you get a free butter cake. In all, it was obviously a good meal (I mean, Michelin star), but it wasn’t a revolutionary-level of good to warrant a 5 star. Nonetheless, if you are willing to pay $150+ for a full course meal, go for it.

Food, service and cocktail list all good. A little too pricey. A little too healthy. Sitting on the terrace was nice because it was walled in with greenery, making you forget you are in midtown. I would give it a 4.5 if possible

Coming from the UK and visiting my partner this was the PERFECT DATE NIGHT SPOT. The atmosphere was stunning, we were at the outside patios and with the nice weather it was lovely. Our server was very enthusiastic and professional. Drinks were pricey but lovely, we had a Mocktail. The price of the food was more expensive than we would of liked, HOWEVER, it was WORTH IT. Everything down to the garlic mash potatoes was INCREDIBLE. we're saving up to go again. Side note - perfect left over food to revisit. 10/10

Had a family dinner on a Saturday evening with prompt seating and service but not rushed in the least. Attentive knowledgeable staff. Delicious food of course including the filets and halibut and crab cakes. The jalapeño potatoes are amazing! Nice but overpriced wine list but hey it’s NYC

Seafood and the setting at this location is great. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The place has a nice feel to it. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I liked to visit.

I was taken here for my birthday and it was a nice experience. The decor is nice, spacious. Our waiter was very attentive and even gave us his opinion with drinks choices. I ordered salmon which was really good! Soft and flavorful! For the Friday evening, the weather was good, food was filling, and my drink was great. Perfect night in November and to start my birthday week!

Fine dining at its best. Took my friend here for her birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. The dynamite sushi was really good for appetizer. Got my steak medium well and it was Cooked perfectly. I recommend adding the crusted blue cheese on top of your steak that really gave mines some additional smoked flavor. Lobster Mac was delicious it was creamy and flavorful with chunks of buttery lobster. For dessert I had the 10 layered carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Very impressed it wasn’t to sweet and it had the perfect amount of icing. Since it was my friend’s birthday her dessert came with a happy birthday edible chocolate piece. Overall, this place was great. Oh and I almost forgot make sure you try the berry cocktail.

The place is very nice, be prepared for the check hahah. This restaurant it’s nice for a special night or event. I would recommend anyone to come here. 10/10 if you are celebrating your birthday you will get a nice free little cake.

Came here for an occasion and were treated like special guests! Our waitress, Thi, was so attentive and addressed us by our first name whenever she'd check in on us. It made us feel very welcome and enhanced our experience with the food! The drinks were very good and there was a very good selection of cocktails on the menu. The atmosphere was great, with music low enough where we could hear each other and have an actual conversation. The table was always wiped in from appetizers to our entrees and even dessert. Would come back here again.

I celebrated my birthday at Ocean Prime and had an amazing time. Shaik was our server and was on point with everything! The food was delicious. I ordered the Calamari and the NY Strip steak with truffle butter. Everyone enjoyed their drinks; I loved the Berries and Bubbles cocktail!

Really enjoyed the Porkchop & Lobster linguini! Everything was cooked to perfection & the waitress was great with suggestions on food & drinks. My wife & I spoke with the manager as well and had a pleasant conversation. Will definitely be going back on the next visit to Manhattan, NY.

I had the most amazing 30th birthday celebration here! The service was amazing and they even provided a delicious bday dessert to make my bday extra special. Our server Hunter went above and beyond and new every detail of the menu in and out. We went with all of his suggestions and they were all incredible. My boyfriend and I can’t wait to come back!

I'm very critical and judgmental when it comes to my food. But I would say that this restaurant was by far one of the greatest places I've ate in years. First, let me say that the outside dining felt like I was inside the restaurant. The service was awesome and the environment was upscale. The food was A class and the water was...yes the water very pure and fresh. I ordered the teriyaki salmon with rice and the teriyaki calamari. What? talking about delicious? I bit my tongue eating so fast. I would be visiting again several more times this year.

Spent our 10 year anniversary here. I went with the 8oz Filet Mignon and wife had Crab Cakes. Both were very good and seasoned well. Actually, was the best steak I've ever had. I had the Old Fashioned cocktail which was good, but very small amount with the huge single icecube filling the glass. Wife had sparkling water. The ambiance was nice with a low key vibe.

I would have given 0 stars but in order to leave a review, I had to give one star. I made reservations a day ahead of time and they agreed to indoor seating. We specifically asked for indoor seating and the hostess agreed and confirmed several times because we had children with us. The night of our reservation, it was 55 degrees and windy. We traveled a hour to the restaurant with a reservation for a birthday celebration, and when we got there, they advised they only had outdoor seating (without outdoor heating) and our reservation was not for indoor seating. They also advised if we were to eat inside, we had a hour and a half and then they would MAKE us leave (Not ask us to leave). This was definitely racial discrimination after we made reservations and there were people eating inside, that were not of color and were walk ins. They were so nasty to us. We will never dine here again and we recommend The Sea Fire Grille. Ocean Prime had horrible customer service and I used to dine here for years. Never again. We went to the Sea Fire Grille with late notice and please check their website for our review.

Amazing seafood and great customer service! I just casually mentioned to the hostess that my wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. She gave us an awesome table and our waiter was amazing! They even gave us a complimentary butter cake dessert with a happy anniversary chocolate on it and it was AMAZING! A little pricey but worth every single penny. Definitely one of the best meals of our lives!

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a tremendous evening and the venue was certainly the reason for this successful evening. The waiters collaborated in a lovely manner, the meals were yummy and my guests were so overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Ocean roll sushi was great. Rice was nice, stickier texture than usual. Raw ahi tuna was also nice. Alaskan king crab was good dipped in butter, otherwise plain. Finished everything except the bread so overall a solid meal.

Best meal and food of our NYC tour - and that is saying a LOT ! We visited 5 of the "best" and this is a tie for overall experience as #1, but stands alone as the BEST food served by far. Ambiance is executive casual and very nice. Wait staff were polite and efficient. The food is just fabulous! See pics of our soups, apps and dinner. the video of the lobster bisque will not load , but you need to try it! Steak, sushi, scallops, Halibut, Red Snapper and deserts were all on point. Not cheap but definitely worth every dollar spent. Do not miss this fantastic NYC restaurant.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely love this place. Everything was sublimely amazing especially the Lobster Bisque. We will DEFINITELY be going back soon because everything was so amazing. Hopefully this time we'll save room for dessert because I've heard the Carrot Cake is a must-order!

Great date spot. If you wanted to empress a date or have a drink or a meal by the ocean then this a good place to go. It has water side seating and great views of beautiful Malibu. They have a lovely outdoor lounge a plenty of outdoor heaters to keep you warm and toasty when it gets cold. The food is great. Kinda pricey but you also for the view and the atmosphere.

Unfortunately I am leaving this review based on service and the food aspect. Upon mines and my husband arrival, the man at the front was great and very personal. We were seated very fast and all was well until our food came. Although the presentation was great, our food was BLAND, which is very unfortunate. I am all for the taste of the food and the ambience. The decor was great, the mood was very sensual which I loved. As we were taking pictures to take in the moment, an individual who I think was security kept coming over telling us about the policy of keeping the mask on during none seating which was already known. So that was rather frustrating especially that we were spending a significant amount of food. I am also in the hospitality service and I understand policy. Upon leaving and wanting to take a photo, we were told while walking out to again not take pictures very frustrating in itself. The same individual who checks us in asked about our visit and we told him he wasn’t what we expected. He then take pics of us and also apologized tremendously, we appreciated that. But we won’t be coming back again 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just WOAO!! The Best Tun tartare I've tried in the city, definitely I'll come back for it. The crab cake delicious too perfect and smooth combination with that Dijon sauce, the salad that comes with it little sour for me but overall everything is great.
