Beautiful park from what I saw. Didn't get a chance to see the entire space but what I did see was pretty cool with an amazing view. I actually went to this park for roller skating which I had not done in years. The rink was kinda small there were lots of kids skating. And sure it was a little crowded but I still had a great time and the price was only 8 dollars including skate rental but be aware that you need to bring your own lock to secure your belongings in the lockers provided. I want to go back and explore the park some more but if recommend a visit for sure.

Very nice public park with newly repaved tracks. You can get a great view of News Jersey over the Hudson River. There's also indoor and outdoor basketball courts, swimming pools and ice rink. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon this park in Harlem and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a serene elevated waterfront park with spectacular views of the Hudson River. Lots of seating/places to relax and unwind, barbecue/picnic areas and sporting facilities. Ideal for sunset lovers ❤️❤️❤️

With its lush greenery and diverse array of sports facilities, this park truly has something for everyone. Not only does it feature a large pool that is reasonably priced, but it also boasts a restaurant (food and drinks at typical New York prices). One of the park's standout features is the stunning sunsets that can be witnessed from its grounds. The park has a lively atmosphere, and visitors can often enjoy the sounds of music playing in the background. However, during the summer months, the park can become quite crowded, and the music can sometimes be quite loud, which may not be ideal for those seeking a more peaceful experience.

Riverbank State Park is so gorgeous. Just walking around there with the lovely view of the water makes me so happy. Nature is so beautiful. I love that there's different buildings for different activities. It's good to have that around for the people to have fun. I really like that it's not far from the trains, bus stops, Pharmacies, and McDonald's. This is a great spot to hang out with friends. I definitely plan on going back with my friends and hopefully bring my family here. It's just a beautiful spot to be in and I'm happy it exists.

An hidden gem, the ice rink is one of the cheapest in NYC. Views on the palissade park and Washington bridge are awesome. Can be windy, dress warmly in winter. You can easily access the Hudson and enjoy a good barbecue.

It’s an amazing Park! People are pretty friendly and staff is usually pretty good. My only two complaints are the cars that drive in the morning and don’t honk when they’re coming through (a lot of people are running or have headphones in) and then the opening times have been off a few days I’ve come early. I’ve waited 30-35 min after opening time on some occasions.

Great spot to get away and relax. You can bbq pretty much anywhere in the park, or have a simple picnic. There's a baseball field, basketball court, and a playground. Awesome views of the water and skyline. Highly recommend Riverbank park.

I traveled from Bed Stuy not just for the park but the peace it gives as well. This particular day I went it was hot but so enjoyable. Their was not much actually occurring just a few people in the picnic area,. Children playing, people laughing and boats passing by. Essentially, what I felt was sense of bliss. Now everyone may not experience that, so may offer a gift of thought or idea, that when you come be close to the trees. Be peaceful and quiet and allow the wind guide you to a sense of tranquility and suddenly you may just maybe experience life in the realm of water and earth combined. This is one experience I thoroughly enjoy, being by water and being refreshed with the trees as a covering.

Nice. Lots of activities! There's a public garden and Education center managed by new york's horticultural society (this was my main stop), a cultural center that has a host of activities and classes for kids eg dancing, martial arts, etc, a skating Rink, a running track, two playgrounds, a baseball field, two basketball courts, a batting cage (well, just a case that you can bat in I guess), and an ah-mazing view! Easily accessible by bus, a few stop there. A few blocks walking distance from the nearest subway.

Truly a great park. In the summer, people sell drinks and food while you enjoy the beautiful view of the water. I went to go test my new Galaxy s21 and you can see all the way across the water. I've shot yoga videos and workouts here, I learned how to ride a EUC here, this place has become quite beloved to me. There is a bike and a walkers lane and if you follow the path downtown you can make it all the way to the Piers, if you take it uptown you can make it up to Washington Heights and Inspiration Point (if you haven't been there, you should check it out it's a nice walk). There's also a recharge area by the water if you have a electric scooter of something of that nature. The pictures I'll be posting will only be from riverbank and not Riverside, even though they spill into each other after a point. The last 4 pictures were shot on a Galaxy s21(check out that zoom!) The others are from a galaxy A20 months earlier.

Great places for families and people to come with a nice variety of areas and activities to be a part of. They have ice/roller skating rinks, a track field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a lot more other cool things along with a spectacular view all throughout the park and a great walk in general. There's plenty to do and plenty to enjoy both there and nearby on a leisurely day or a planned event.

My all-time personal haven!!! Amazing athletic fields and facilities - lovely outdoor basketball court, tennis court, track, baseball field, football/soccer ground, and more. The staff is incredibly kind. The view of GW bridge, NJ shore and Hudson River is just beautiful. Love coming here 💕

Great park! Spacious, clean and well kept. I enjoyed the view from the pavilion and from inside the park. Alot of private areas for Birthday parties or just Family playtime. You will love this park! It's a beautiful oasis

Very nice, spacious park... although it needs alot of work to be done like the children's playground also tennis and basketball courts. The staff are very lazy and negligent towards the park also broken down elevator that's been shut down since the beginning of time! So overall it's a good park but some flaws also can get ghetto too so be on guard and be safe. Peace ✌🏾

Hidson River park features lots of entertainment and sporting facilities for kids and adults alike. The views are magnificent. The only complaint is that the smell there is awful. You can't really forget that the park is located on top of a sewage treatment plant. 😕

Has great potential! Offers great programs at great prices but systems are so antiquated. You need to go in person to enroll and pay. Their social media pages are never up to date so you never know if classes are cancelled or if starting later unless you call. And when you do call, they don't even answer the phone!

This is an oasis in the midst of the west side side of Halmiton Heights. Located on top of the Hudson river ; hence the name Riverbank. There are a myriad of activities to do here from swimming to basketball to handball or running laps around the track as well as play soccer or just read and relax on the grass. All the activities a rd e very well spaced apart so they dont overlap on top of each other. There is even a bus that goes directly into the park.

  • 4/5 Antonio G. 1 year ago on Google
I go to play tennis they have four nice courts with lights. The basketball courts baseball field and handball walls are all around the courts. There is a whole other side to the park with a lot to do. Parking is awful in the neighborhood. Wish they had a garage or lot for the park at an affordable fee.

  • 3/5 Jessica L. 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful park, but there are no food options/snack bar. Only thing available is Sofritos which doesn't open till 5. Handball courts are HORRIBLE-walls have always been wooden but here is no care towards the walls at all. I believe there are 6 courts, only 2 are without holes. Daughter enjoyed the sprinklers!

Great view and lots of people just enjoying the weather, I just wished there was more shade and wind but other than that awesome place for picnic!!!

  • 1/5 Anissaxox J. 1 year ago on Google
The riverbank parking lot is extremely inconvenient for goers. When you go to the parking lot, they make you go all the way back to the entrance at 145street ( which is very far from the parking lot) to get a piece of paper. When you get to the parking entrance, the employees don’t even look or sign it. Not to mention, they are very rude in explaining the process.

This park has it all. Playground for kids with swings and slides, riverview, lots of open ground to sun bathed, walk and jog. It boast a pool, ice-skating ring, a running track and plenty of green space for soccer games. It has basketball courts and racket ball ir handball courts. It even has a restaurant called" Sofrito".

I love going here the atmosphere is amazing the waiters and waitresses are Exceptional. They greet you when you come in very polite the food is excellent. I went there for my graduation on the 16th of June, and they treated me and my family so so wonderfully. I appreciate that. Thank you very much. 😁🥰

More than a park, is a special combination of indoors and outdoors in one environment. Where picnics have special ways to be presented….want a pool ? would you prefer indoor or outdoor?…Let’s play softball or soccer, no…I’ve changed my mind so let’s play tennis instead…Do not forget that my favorite sport is Ice skating! What make you think they don’t have it??

  • 5/5 Joseph M. 9 months ago on Google
Riverbank State Park is a complete gem. This place can feel like an escape from the rest of the city. Everything gives off positive vibes when you arrive. The staff which reflects the mood of the people who visit. Things look very clean as well. Now what can you do here?: Well there's two pools (indoor and out), a snack bar, a skating rink a playground, baseball fields and a sprinkler area that is probably big enough to cool the entire Park if needed. All while overlooking an expanse over the Hudson River. Now that's for the Olympic size track, it's under construction at the moment. The track looked good before, I wonder what it's going to look like when it's completed.. this is a place you definitely want to bring your family.

Great views of Hudson river and nice place to relax on a sunny day. This place is pet friendly too. The sporting facilities here are quite well maintained any fitness enthusiast around the locality should check this place out. It's also a great place to celebrate Birthday outdoor .

Grew up coming to this park. I love it so much. There so much to do here between swimming, tennis, ice skating, roller blading, track, handball, and so much more. I don't think I'll ever stop coming here. It's truly a blessing to have such an amazing park in the neighborhood. ❤️

  • 5/5 Ronald L. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful state park with tons of open space. The upstairs areas are more urban with concrete and kids playgrounds and basketball courts. The downstairs area is serene. It’s right on the river and has additional sports courts but is almost entirely open grass on the river with benches and picnics areas. It’s also open pretty last, especially in the summer however even if your there really late typically cops done bother and the entire park is accessible whenever as they don’t lock it down.
