I LOVED this park! I had been wanting to go there for years and I was not disappointed. It is a wonderful example of how to use natural materials to the fullest extent. It is a perfect shady spot to stop for lunch. Kids really seemed to be enjoying the natural playground area and the plantings were fabulous. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

The park is in between buildings which provides shades . Perfect for summer time. My kids loved the water and the rocks. The only thing is the water area is a bit small and it Is on a little slope. I had to watch carefully what they were doing. Less relaxing. Probably better for little older kids.

This park is not huge or something. It is small and accurate but still wonderful. It has green part and a little playground with only one long metallic slide ending with sand. But there is a stony way up to this slide so kids need to climb up. So kids love it. Rocks and sand combined with slide make hours of play.

Nice little park in a a slightly hidden area with the second most dangerous slide in Manhattan. Unlike Chelsea Waterside Park where there is risk of traumatic head injury, the danger at the huge slide at this park is more likely scrapes, parental heart attacks and possibly an unlucky broken bone. The slide is built on a cliff and is 2 stories tall, which would be fine since the coefficient of friction of child on slide is relatively high. However, there is a small water element near the top of the slide, and kids invariably pour water down the slide, speeding up the ride so that they can’t stop and launch off the end into the sand trap like human cannonballs. There is also a sandbox and play area for smaller children which is usually empty since it’s nowhere near as fun as watching or becoming a living projectile. There are also some walking paths and a small field.

A rather hidden little gem nestled among a tight forest of tall buildings. A slide and some unique nooks with benches make this a wonderful place to stop and wonder if you turned the iron off or forgot to floss. Spectacular flagstone structures complete the sense of being lost in a much older New York City.

Very nicely kept park. Hidden away, a little area of tranquility from the noise and pace of Manhattan

This park is a hidden gem that transcends ordinary beauty. Its vibrant tapestry of colors, fragrant blooms, and tranquil ponds create an enchanting oasis where time slows down, and worries gently fade away.

Tiny neighborhood park with a really cool slide. It's close to Roosevelt park and hidden in between buildings. There are some water games, a sand box and few other things to keep kids busy. There is also some grass and a lot of shade. The public bathroom is super clean which is very nice.

THE SLIDE! It’s epic and epically hidden. Our children loved it. Of course the park can get tricky to keep an eye on the little ones but amazing for them to play hide and seek 🫣🤓🛝

I love the water sprinklers here! That big slide? Amazing! There is also a really nice sized sandbox. However, the water is not working on that side. However, this little park is a great hidden gem. Definitely felt like k escaped the city for a little

Great slide and splash area. There aren't any other traditional playground pieces like swings or things to climb on, but somehow this slide keeps my kids busy for hours. Lots of fun little corners of this playground to explore, and always wonderfully shaded.

Nice park, but I don’t understand why dogs are not welcome on lawns. I clean up after them, what is the matter? Bald grass patches from the nitrogen in urine can be eliminated from other forms of maintenance/grass seeds. Old lady that is a staff for the park is extremely ill mannered. Harassed me and my dog for being on the lawn. This is not her property.

This is a cute little public park. At first glance you may think it's a private park for the residents of the building around it but no it is a public park. This is a cool space for everyone to use. It is a great place to plan a little bday for little children. They have a cool slide and sprinklers. The design of the park is pretty cool.

Quaint and cute park. Nice for a stroll in the afternoon. Not too many kids have been around when I’ve been there. They also have a huge slide that is fun for all ages. Overall, nice escape.

Beautiful playground situated between towering buildings. The playground has a huge slide that drops into sand, it has a water feature to cool off with, it was clean, the children well behaved and most of all, the restroom close by was immaculate. This is not the kind of playground with monkey bars, etc but it’s still very awesome.

This is a very underrated part of Battery Park City. It is very secluded and where we have taken our family holiday photos for the last two years

Giant slide and fun rocks to climb. Restroom close by. Close to the Rockefeller playground if you want more variety. I was surprised by how much time our kiddos happily spent playing here. And I'm sure they'd be thrilled to return.

Amazing “hidden” park. My kids couldn’t get enough of the huge slide and rocky spray area. Shady and so much fun.
