I've
been
coming
to
Square
Circle
NY
on
and
off
for
the
past
3
years
even
though
it's
located
down
in
the
Financial
District
and
I
live
and
work
more
uptown.
I've
made
the
effort
to
travel
to
this
gym
because
I
really
like
the
friendly
owners,
Kru
Rob
and
Kru
Bea,
and
I
enjoy
the
Muay
Thai
classes
(even
though
I'm
normally
pretty
picky
about
my
workouts).
The
All-Levels
Muay
Thai
class
starts
off
with
3-4
minutes
of
jump
roping,
and
then
a
series
of
ten
short
workout
sets.
The
main
bulk
of
the
class
consists
of
pad
holding
and
heavy
bag
work,
and
then
ends
with
the
same
ten
workout
sets
and
stretching.
If
you
put
in
the
effort
by
focusing
on
your
speed
and
power,
it's
a
great
cardio
and
strength
workout.
The
Advanced
Class
is
more
geared
towards
focusing
on
technique.
It
is
better
for
people
who
are
interested
in
training
to
fight
or
for
those
interested
in
learning
clinch-work
(which
is
excellent
for
self-defense).
There
are
also
sparring
classes
for
those
who
want
to
practice
their
techniques
on
fellow
classmates.
The
best
thing
about
the
gym
is
that
it's
constantly
improving
since
they
moved
to
the
larger
location.
They
added
a
fully
equipped
weight
room,
extra
heavy
kicking
bags,
and
more
space
for
classes.
They
also
include
weight
circuit
classes,
yoga
classes
and
allow
you
to
attend
BJJ
classes
occasionally
if
you're
interested.
There
are
even
some
open
mat
times
if
you
want
to
come
workout
without
taking
the
class.
When
I
first
started,
I
joined
at
the
basic
level
(two
classes
a
week)
and
then
quickly
upgraded
to
the
"Director's
Club"
(which
allowed
three
classes
a
week).
Since
we
have
moved
to
the
new
gym,
they
have
changed
their
attendance
policy
and
allow
me
to
attend
any
class
I
want,
which
makes
it
much
better!
All-in-all,
it's
been
a
great
experience
working
out
at
Square
Circle.
