Physique 57 changed the way I think about working out, and my experience doing it. Exercise is so personal and emotional not to mention physical, and when I discovered barre classes at Physique 57 I finally found the thing that works for me and my body. I have now been an avid fan for 10 years. Because of the amazing On Demand platform they provide, it is super easy to maintain your workouts if you travel. The instructors are dancers, and they know how to push just enough so that you make that extra effort and challenge yourself in a positive way. They talk you through the overload, so that you understand it as part of the process to make change. To get stronger mentally and physically. The various amazing personalities of the Physique team are also part of what make it a unique and special experience. I also can't talk about Physique without mentioning how they(Tanya and all of the instructors)created an amazing space for the community throughout the pandemic. To be able to count on a consistent space on Instagram to "see" the community and work out together, sharing in the comments, being "seen" by the instructors was a tremendous saving grace. At a time when many of us felt a lack of control, it was a place to show up and do something positive, often laughing our way through it! I couldn't recommend you try this class more...if there were more stars to give I would! Thank you Tanya, Jennifer and the team for Physique 57!

There isn’t any workout as effective as Physique 57. Not only have I been doing it since my 20 yr old daughter was in Kindergarten, but it kept me in the best shape during the pandemic. No one believes me that I’m this fit from IG workouts.

My favorite barre studio by far. Instructors are all amazing and encouraging while pushing you to your limits. Lots of modifications to make it easier or harder.

The burnnn ohh the burn!! 🔥🔥🔥 Such a great class and Adam was just the best. I would 1000% do this again, my legs were shaking — definitely a hard but doable low impact workout.

I've been going to Physique57 for over 10 years(all 3 different Soho studios over the years as well as FiDi when it was open) and it remains one of my favorite workouts! It is fun, all of the instructors are awesome- energetic, helpful with adjustments and encouraging. It was a great workout for while I was pregnant and during the pandemic I still enjoyed live classes at home. The new studio is nice but wish it still had showers. I go directly to work after but it seems most people go home and wouldn't utilize that options so I understand why they got rid of it. Physique is a hard workout - there is no denying it, but once you have gone a few times you get the hang of it and it is very rewarding.

I’ve been loving Physique57 since 2007, and it honestly only gets better! It is still hard, still challenging and keeps showing results! I feel strong physically and mentally! And I’ve taken class through 3 babies and numerous injuries, you can always ask for modifications and still feel the burn (in the right way!) The instructors are beyond phenomenal, you cannot go wrong with any one or any class. They share their energy and positivity with you from minute one. I love that every class is different, so I can do a Mat class one day a classic Physique class the next day and HIIT Cardio the next! And they have so many options for taking class. You can go in person, take class on demand or with IG live which has been my personal favorite for the past two years! I would highly recommend Physique57 to anyone looking to start, continue or “level up” their fitness game!

17 years committed to Physique and I still can't get enough! I started working out with Physique at 23 years old and am still absolutely loving it at 40 years old! That speaks volumes... Throughout the pandemic, I tried several different workouts but was never able to achieve the full body cut and tone that Physique accomplishes. My flexibility is consistent and I attribute it completely to the class methodology. Physique is such a welcoming community with many other women steadily attending classes for years at a time. I literally cannot imagine my life without a minimum of 2 classes per week. The instructors are positive and welcoming and prioritize hands on adjustments to ensure every client maintains proper form and prevents injury. It is also so impressive that most of the instructors have been teaching for 8-10+ years at Physique - such a testament to the incredible leadership of Physique's founders, Tanya and Jennifer. So many of the instructors are mothers and they perfectly guided me through adjustments for my three pregnancies and recovery. I cannot recommend Physique enough - it will change your life in ALL THE BEST WAYS!

By far the best barre studio in the city. High quality instructors and the studio is always clean + everyone is friendly. Most importantly, challenging and effective workouts. Kerrie in particular is amazing! Highly recommend

I have been going to Physique57 for years and I don't know where exactly to start. Physique57 is one of my favorite workouts. if you do Physique57 consistently, it is one of the hardest workouts you'll do. The ladies and gents are super positive encouraging you to keep going, even if your body wants you to stop. I'm currently doing marathon training, and I can't get to the barre as much as I'd like. I'll be back 3-4x week when I'm done. Just do the workout, you won't regret it.

Great classes, amazing instructors! Clear instructions with demo, careful to ask about injuries or pregnancies to modify and available for questions after class. Happy to see them back in midtown In a beautiful new studio, clean, plenty of lockers, showe and towels. The staff is very friendly.

The P57 virtual studio classes I have been taking from the instructor Adam are so engaging and fun! I didn’t realize how motivating it would be to see other participants in the NY studio and those at home on their zoom screens working out altogether. Adam checks on the virtual students and corrects and encourages us just as though we were in the studio with him. It’s a win win! Thank you Physique 57!!!

Great new studio location with natural light. Class with Adam was challenging. Worked every muscle in my body. Extremely efficient workout in an hour! Great playlist and great teacher. Thanks!

Last summer I fell hiking and broke my leg in three places. According to my surgeon it was one of the 5 worst breaks he had ever seen and I wouldn't be able to walk for over 4 months. As awful as it was, it would have been so much worse if I hadn't been an avid Physique-er before. Because of my upper body strength crutches weren't an issue and my physical therapist was shocked that I already knew exercises like clam shell. Not only did my pre-existing strength help me through the recovery period, but all of the modifications helped me start building strength once I was able to put weight on my leg (and before that I was all about the mat classes). Thanks to Physique I'm back at full strength and have even started hiking again.

Perfect - challenging right to the edge but not too far you don’t wanna come back for more. Visible results after a few classes are motivating. Has really helped refine stabilizing muscles that have supported my running goals as well.

Overall I love taking classes at the Spring Street location but the barre room where we exercise is a tad bit too cold - it AC seems always be on full blast. Also I've noticed that some of your customers/members use the restroom as a changing room which often makes the waiting queue for the restroom very looong... Maybe you need to address this with signs or something. Hope this helps. Cheers, -JS

My favorite workout. This studio is easily accessible by a variety of train lines. The instructors bring amazing energy and encouragement and the moves/workout is always challenging and effective. Highly recommend. The only thing to note, there are no bells and whistles to this place. Towels are not included unless you have an annual membership and there is no shower. They do have dry shampoo, spray deodorant, and a blow-dryer.

Been a member for 10 years. Use a lot of ‘on demand’ classes as I live in Sydney Australia also use livestream classes when time zones work. Love it. Fun and challenging too.

There's nothing like a Physique experience, in studio, streaming or on demand. Wonderful instructors, each one brings their own spice, but classes always sizzle!

Physique57 is the best thing I ever did for myself! Have been pulsing with them since 2010 when I purchased the DVD's. I've used the OnDemand platform, which has a phenomenal amount of content, and then started doing IG Live when the pandemic hit. I've become stronger both physically & mentally!

I know officially they say it’s 8 classes to results, but I’m 5 in and can already feel a difference. It’s intense at times but worth it.
