Never knew rowing was so intense. I definitely got a good workout here. You switch off between rowing and floor work. Bring lifting gloves to avoid calluses. Took off a star because they charge studio prices, but they don't even have showers or lockers. They share bathroom with the rest of the floor.

My favorite workout in NYC. The staff is excellent and I always get a great workout. After one class I'm a regular and always look forward to my time here.

A great full-body workout incorporating rowing, free weights, and some yoga that becomes very addictive very quickly. Every instructor I've had has been great, both informative and friendly. I recommend doing the Fundamentals class first if you're not used to rowing in order to get the proper form down.

City Row is my new favorite workout. As someone who typically does spin/running, I found rowing challenging but fun, and it's definitely a complete body workout. Beth's class is awesome. She's funny but challenges you to push your limits, and plays awesome music so the class flies by and I leave every time feeling stronger and sweaty (in a good way!)

I was hooked after the first class. City Row is amazing - hands down one of the best workouts in the city. To start, it's a challenging workout but it's made fun and you know you can get through it because the instructors are motivating and truly help you understand and get to your best form. The facility is also great - very clean and it's always nice to have beautiful city views when you're working out. What's best about this workout is how you feel afterwards - no other workout gives me the energy level that I have after CityRow.

Rowing is such a great full body workout and the instructors are awesome ... I've been to Beth & Bakari's classes and both are kick ass! The studio is clean, the staff is friendly and the workout is great for both experienced rowers and fitness fanatics just testing it out! Great place to work up a good sweat!

I expected a true grind but definitely not the case. It was one of the best workouts I’ve done recently. If you want to take your fitness to a different level, you have to try City Row. Thanks for the experience!

If you are looking for a heart pumping, sweat dripping, low impact awesome workout you have to give CITYROW a try! The instructors are all amazing and walk you through where you need to be every minute of the class. I always leave feeling like I have gotten a GREAT workout and been pushed hard. Hollis, Beth & Moses are my fav instructors, but seriously, everyone is great! Rowing is life changing, you will be addicted once you give it a try!

I started going to CITYROW to learn other ways to get cardio in without flaming my shin splints. I started with the Fundamentals with Beth and haven't looked back. I love the workout and the upbeat positive atmosphere that CITYROW brings. You get a full body workout and it's so fun that you don't even realize that the hour has passed. The instructors are all great and the staff are friendly, they focus on strength and technique more than speed, which really pushes you to focus and dig deep in your pushes. I highly recommend this place for a really awesome, sweaty workout!

Always a great workout! I've been to other rowing classes where we row the entire time but this one incorporates floor exercises that really get you sweating. The class is always different and every instructor is amazing, especially Trevor. I love City Row!

Great full body workout! The studio is small and instructor and front desk crew are more than nice and helpful. This was my first rowing class in about a year, and the instructor was sure to review proper form with everyone before beginning the class. The only downside of this studio is that I wish that it had showers! Will definitely be back for more.

I purchased a month of classes to kickstart my work out routine. After taking about 3 classes a week for a month, I'm feeling strong and motivated. The class is great for beginners or advanced rowers. Instructors give folks ways to modify to make it easier or more challenging! Definitely a great hour class for a heart pounding workout!

City Row is great! The instructors put a lot of emphasis on form which is important. The machines themselves are great. They make it really easy to track your progress and tell how hard you're really working. It's a fun class. Definitely recommend rowing over spin class - it's a lot harder to cheat.

😠 No way! JUST DON'T DO IT! LA Fitness on Eastchester Road is real bad! 👍👍 It is an amazing stay for people that really just need a bed for the night in the middle of New York. We stayed for a week and first of all the location is unbeatable. Right next to central park and even in a 20 minutes walk distance to time square. I absolutely loved the immense gym. Alone for the...
