By far the most experienced, well rounded boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts coach that I have ever worked with. He currently trains top level world class althetes and some normal everyday people. No matter what level you are, I'm more than sure he can assist you in improving your fight game. He's a great trainer and a good person. If anyone would have the chance to actually work with him they would feel the same way. A+ 5 Stars. Team Strout!👍👊

Jason Strout is, by far, the most amazing trainer and coach out there. A single session with Jason advances my skills further than a full month of training with other instructors. Whether you’re beginner or a pro fighter, if you work with him, you will get better quickly! He is professional, smart, energetic, and has a way of motivating you to bring your very best to each session. Jason is a master at simplifying the fundamentals and technical elements of the sport, while making sure you have fun while learning. In addition, he is constantly educating himself… studying, learning, talking with other pros, watching tapes, and working to continuously grow as a coach. I am so glad I found Jason and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing trainer. You will not be disappointed.

When I first moved to New York I checked out many different boxing/kickboxing/Muay Thai gyms for a couple of months, experienced different trainers, asked around for recommendations on sparring/striking before deciding on Church Street Boxing and ultimately Jason Strout's program. I was fortunate to work with one of his fighters initially then was able to take classes directly with Jason. Jason was clearly about the fundamentals, technique and strategy of boxing and kickboxing from the first class I took; He breaks the technical side down in a way I hadn't experienced at any of the other gyms while keeping the class interesting, challenging and varied. Jason is direct in his critique which helped develop trust, as a woman many instructors would constantly tell me I was doing great when I knew I wasn't. Jason is tough but he still makes the class fun and his delivery is authentic. I have improved greatly since working with Jason; there is a core group in his classes with a great work ethic that has helped me develop quickly. Like anything, the more I put in the more I get out and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to learn from a coach of Jason's caliber 4x a week.

Jason is a patient and passionate coach, who has guided my training and fighting for many years. Without his help I wouldn’t be the martial artist that I am today. We met at a time where I was without a fighting mentor and I was at a plateau in training. He helped me break into a new world and I still value his teachings since we met 15 years ago. In 2010, we both reached a huge milestone, as Jason coached me to win a professional WKA North American Muay Thai Championship after a multiple amateur titles, in our 7 years working together. Jason will open your mind to his own passion and dedication to combat sports. I’m proud to call him my coach, my friend and family.

Jason is a great trainer & understands both Muay Thai & Boxing through it’s intricacies. He studies striking extensively & is able to pass on this foundation to his students. Whether a student trying to get into shape or a budding professional fighter, I highly recommend Jason Strout as a trainer & a coach. Hell, he helped me become a multiple time Muay Thai Champion & a World Champion.

I have been training with Jason for over 2 years. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. He is able to adjust his teaching style so anyone from beginners to professionals can learn from him. If you are interested in learning how to strike or are just looking for a great cardio workout centered on striking, you can't go wrong with Jason.

I have been training under Jason for 5 years now. I was 1-0 as a professional when I started with him. I am now 14-1 and fight in the UFC. I started on the local circuit and built my way up to the big stage (UFC). The great thing about Jason though, is that he can work with all levels of people of at any capacity. He works with the regular gym goer, the weekend warrior, men, women, kids, amateur fighters and professional athletes. If your looking to just get in shape or become a Professional champion Jason is the man for you.

One of the best coaches in NYC. As a Bjj black belt having trained at almost every fight gym in NYC in the last 13 years I can tell you Jason is one of the best in the city. Yoda knowledgeable about every aspect of the game and the nicest guy that can knock you out. You'll be lucky to train with him. Subscribe to his YouTube channel.

If you read multiple reviews, you'll find (i) people like myself that train for fun, (ii) fighters and (iii) coaches. Jason is the coach's coach - whatever you are looking for when it comes to boxing / muay thai / striking, he has the answers. Before I settled on Church Street Boxing to train with him, I checked out at least 10 different gyms. The world is filled with fake coaches / trainers who add boxing / muay thai to their resume. They will just have you hit pads and either tell you nothing constructive or that you are doing great. Within that frame, Jason is unique. He knows more than anyone you will likely ever meet about this, is critical and wants you to get better. He is one of the best in the world at his craft. If you are serious and want to do this right, look no further.

I came to train with Coach Strout not knowing much of anything about fighting. I wanted a fun way to get healthy and learn instead of doing mindless unrefined training. I got that and so much more. In a year and a half I went from being a beginner with no intention of fighting to having four fights with a 3:1 record. Coach Strout teaches technique in a calm and understandable way. He is tough and knows when to push you but his excitement and encouragement when you get it is very validating. After every training session I always feel like I have learned something that I can continue to work on. No matter what level you are or what your goals are he has something to teach you.

🫤 Very disappointed with the gym's new timing. I chose PF over Blink Fitness although it was a little far away from my place because it would be open 24 hours and it really helps people who work different schedules. Remember, not everyone works 9-5. The 24 hour policy was what made PF unique and stand...
