I've visited Yoga Shanti a handful of times through classpass. I don't think I've ever done anything more relaxing than the urben zen class offered here. If you want more of a workout, the open level classes are great too, with really welcoming and encouraging instructors. I was nervous to attend an open level class, as this was one of the first studios I visited after only having been to level 1 classes elsewhere. The instructor assured me before the class that I would be totally fine and made me feel much more comfortable. The studio is nice and there are lockers with built in locks for storing belongings.

A world class studio, with lots of variation...Rodney and Colleen's own breed of Iyengar, to restorative, or amazing candlelight vinyasas..but best not defined here...best experienced. Colleen and Rodney have decades of experience and are of high regard around the world, and both of their teaching styles resonate strongly with me. I don’t go anywhere else, other than their other studio in Sag Harbor.

Just learned that studio has closed. No notice, nothing. I also just bought passes. Surely could have informed customers about that.

I started here and then strayed a bit due to class pass and have recently returned after a good bit of wandering... they are just some of the nicest most descriptive knowledgeable teachers I have come across, they teach you to ur limits and then help you grow past those limits at ur own pace...they will also politely kick ur ass if thats what ur looking for but I wont see u in those classes until next year..

I don't know anything about yoga. But I met the founders of Moksha Yoga NY, and you couldn't ask for more passionate, highly qualified, and classy people to be with. If you're looking for yoga in a great community, this will be your place!

This place is perfect ... I went there for the first time this week and from the moment I walked in there was the sense of beauty, kindness and organization not common with many other yoga venues. The place is SUPER beautiful! The instruction was beyond what I could have imagined. I learned so much I am craving my next visit! It is super well organized with many special areas to make your visit comfortable. The staff is really wonderful and welcoming. There are lockers for your items and areas to keep things and your self clean.

The place is so great for many reasons. Great teachers, great classes and old school NYC stairs, hardwood floors and beautiful sunlight.

😠 The whole gym needs newer equipment. Everything is pretty old and weights are thrown everywhere which is honestly a tripping hazard. No one ever reracks their weights. The cleaning has definitely gone downhill.., I haven’t seen anyone actually clean anything in months. I can never find any dumbbel...
