I was always at shadows and found out that the inkwell west was affiliated. Wanted to see how it was. Went with a bunch of family and saw familiar faces. We had a great time. Sugar daddy and LA are still grooving together. We danced all night. Even though they close at 11pm we felt like it was well worth coming fro. The Jersey shore to enjoy ourselves. Love the grown and sexy vibe with no young ratchetness. We will be back with a lot more family.

Strike 1…..for my party and I to have to pay for tables they sure do allow any and everyone to sit any and everywhere and security is scared to do anything about it…..I must say this is an establishment for adults and the crowd tonight was disturbing. Food I ordered basic chicken tenders that were not cooked all the way. The Buffalo wings were way to saucy. The drinks were great plus they had a 2 for 1 special that night which was great. Service was a bit slow especially for us being in the VIP section. The atmosphere and music was great. Definitely a grown and sophisticated crowd. RESPONSE: WE can discuss

I wanted to bring my husband to the Inkwell to celebrate his 62nd birthday on July 29th. Kevin took such great care of us! He gave us a great table! The drinks was excellent! The empanadas and chicken wings was super delicious!! The ambiance and the music was Superb! Me and my family/friends will definitely patronize this fantastic place again!! I didn't want a big party this year. I just wanted to hear some good music in a good atmosphere. So me and my sister decided to go to club Inkwell. We reserved a table at a reasonable price and it came with a dozen of cup cakes. They had red velvet and that was a plus. From the door the hospitality was excellent. The chicken and empanadas were delicious. D.J. Mike C did his thing. He shouted me and everyone else all night. The bartenders know how to make a drink and were very nice. Oh and they had two for one drinks. Kevin and the whole inkwell crew really made my night. They gave me a birthday crown and surrounded me with flashing lights, sparkles and so much love. It really melted my heart. Everything was sooo perfect and I really enjoyed myself. My sister danced more than me. She couldn't sit down. She's already talking about going to see Michel'le perform on February16th. She went crazy when I sent her the info. V.I.P. area was on point. Very clean and nice. Nice mature crowd. I will be going back in 2 weeks. Thank you Kevin and the whole Inkwell staff. You all made my birthday soooo special. Excellent job!!!!! 👏🙌 Happy New Year and you will see me next year.

I just left this place and spent over 120.00 on watered down drinks. I am not a heavy drinker, so if I have 3 drinks I am certainly buzzed. I was disappointed and felt misled by that 2 for one. I rather have one good drink, than 3 watered down drinks. I am old enough to know a scam when I taste it. The music was good but the tables that they have are so small. 3 people can barely fit their drinks on the tables. Forget about if you try to put some food and a Birthday cake. The place would be nice but the “fake drinks got to go”

January 13, 2023 was epic. I had such an awesome time for my birthday. The staff was awesome. My family and friends came from out-of-town and they had a great time.

First time to celebrate my friend before she tie the knot, drinks was on point I enjoyed the wings just wish they had some other food options. Dj dis his thangs. I had a great time partying with my friends and mature folks. The highlight of my night was meeting Vanessa from TP family reunion. Will visit again.

Although I worked mainly with Kevin for planning purposes, the other two representatives were nice and answered all my questions in his absence. Making the reservation was easy, cost effective and convenient. Todd enjoyed his 55th birthday Surprise. The ambiance, decor, music, appetizers and cake was on point. I’m not a drinker but our quests appreciated the two for one drinks as well as the grown and sexy environment. The hospitality was great too. Some of our guests complained that the downside was waiting on line for over 45 minutes to get in the establishment. Although they arrived at 5:30pm. I can speak for myself and our guests, we will definitely return.

This was my first at the Inkwell. I had a great time! The music was awesome and the DJ exhibited great showmanship. There was plenty of room to dance. This location is much larger than the previous one. I would have rated my experience 5 stars but management didn't let us into the club until 6:30. Free admission was from 5:00-6:30. We got on the line at 5:45. The line hardly moved until 6:30. At that time the admission fee of $15 was charged. We didn't think that was fair to us and the rest of the crowd that up for free admission.

We recently celebrated my sweetheart's birthday at The INKwell and we could not have been more pleased. From start to finish, there was an undeniable level of professionalism. Booking the night was easy via phone. They were responsive leading up to the event, as well as afterwards. We were extremely pleased with the service that night and the red velvet cake was a huge hit with our guests. Let's not forget the delicious wings! The music was awesome, as always, and the cosmos were superb. The video link we received after the event was a pleasant surprise. It's nice to know that we can treasure the night for years to come. We had a ball. No complaints at all! A++++

Calling and booking a table with the Inkwell is risky business! The table is subject to change up to 15 minutes prior to opening or be fully occupied by other guests upon arriving! The staff is oblivious to customer service and complaints! Thank goodness Bank of America stands by their customers! Transit to venue, toll and parking, admission in addition to booking a table where you desire based on your knowledge of the seating! If a party of four or four hundred guests book after reservations have already been booked by other parties the hosts shouldn’t take it upon themselves to decide where they want to seat customers! Why charge a fee Kevin and Company! The ultimate worst customer service experience! accommodations is a foreign concept at the Inkwell! I took my cousin when she came up to visit from Atlanta back in June! She came back to NY for her birthday in August and was set on the Inkwell! We should have opted for Backstage and kept it moving! No second chances to make a 1st impression!

DJ Mad Marv was on point he played the music without all that hornblowing yelling through the music while it was playing. He played a great variety It was the most enjoyable dancing I've had all summer at Inkwell especially the house music. I'll return and bring friends when he plays again. Thanks for a memorable evening. PS the 2 for 1 drinks is a plus the bartenders gave great service.

I would like to thank Kevin and his wife Sha for making my destination birthday party so awesome. I purchased tix too late to get a table however when I explained they went over the top I was provided a decorated personalized table for my party. The food was delicious and so plentiful . The drinks were 2/1 for a good part of the evening. The DJ Mr Cee did not disappoint R&B singer Chante Moore s sang like an Angel. Thank you for making my night great!

The dj is on point! Grown and sexy crowd. I danced all night which is rare for me. I don't drink so I don't know how the drinks are. I must say the bathrooms are immaculate, which is a big plus for me.

Inkwell thank you for an awesome 52nd birthday celebration with my mom who’s 75, son 21, daughters 27 & 32, my husband and sisters…My husband and I danced all night the DJ played music for everyone and everyone had an amazing time. The wings, empanadas and fries were good although they were a lil skimpy on the fries for $13. I celebrated my Birthday/Retirement at the Inkwell on Friday, 8/12/2022. I was extremely pleased with the venue, the staff and the superb service I received. The rooftop is one of the best in Manhattan and the backdrop bonus Intrepid Museum lends to a spectacular Manhattan ambiance!! The waitstaff, especially Michael, were friendly, helpful and very professional. It was definitely a night to remember, chicken wings, shrimp, champagne and all. Great music and dancing. Thank you Kevin and Shar for your assurance that everything was going to be fine. It was beyond fine!! It was absolutely stupendous and my Guests cannot stop talking about the great time they had. I highly recommend the Grown folk Fridays at the Inkwell!! You will not be disappointed!!
