Came here for the pulsd brunch deal and we were not disappointed! For the price, it was a great deal. Our server was very attentive to making sure our bottomless mimosas were refilled via a carafe on our table, and each of the entrees we received had large, tasty portions. I'm surprised this isn't a more common brunch spot!

This is a gorgeous place! I came to watch stand up comedy. I was expecting a dingy dark dive spot, or corny, tacky interior. Boy was I wrong. This place is tasteful, classy and the service is spectacular. The food is amazing too, the Stand Burger was mouth watering delicious. The porchetta appetizer was decadent. Everyone who worked there was professional, but really nice and caring. Very impressive to see them work the events and dining area. On top of the Comedy show downstairs, they also had some experimental music show on the ground floor. The entire place was packed. Can not wait to go back to this awesome venue again soon

This was my first time at a NYC comedy club. I got stood up and ended going in alone: the drinks were well balanced and tasty (I tried the Showcase and the Midnight Show) and most of the sets were really good, although I acknowledge the audience was not very engaged. Overall, a fun experience I'd like to repeat sometime soon.

Super fun place for comedy! I really liked the vibe here and they had great comics. Went here with a friend and would definitely return. They have table service once you sit down.

The Stand holds a special place in my heart and has quickly become my go-to for authentic, side-splitting comedy in the city. A devout comedy lover, I frequented the Comedy Cellar but grew weary of repetitive acts, prompting my venture to The Stand. Since that pivotal first visit a little over a year ago, I haven't looked back. The talent here is exceptional, showcasing a roster of incredible comedians like Ari Shaffir, Joe List, Mark Normand, Aaron Berg, Sean Patton, and other brilliant, yet underrated, comics. While they may not have the frequent high-caliber celebrity drop-ins, the comedians they feature are consistently fantastic, offering fresh and dynamic performances. Beyond the comedy, what sets The Stand apart is its atmosphere. It's an upscale, yet relaxed, venue where the experience is just as important as the laughs. The food, available from both the connected restaurant and via table service during shows, is far beyond your typical comedy club fare - it's genuinely good Italian cuisine. The service is exemplary, the check-in process is seamless, and the overall environment is just so much more pleasant and less uptight compared to other venues. Visiting The Stand around twice a month has become my cherished ritual, and each time I am reminded why I love this place so much. It's a sanctuary for comedy enthusiasts who value both stellar performances and a refined, enjoyable setting.

Was in the area for a concert and wanted dinner nearby. This restaurant is gorgeous! I love how deeply low the lighting is. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were kind. Eli was our server, and he was great. Very kind and attentive. We ordered a ceasar salad. It was good. I just wish it had a bit more dressing. The croutons were really good! Also ordered the Stand strip & Frites. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The French fries were so good, too, and they served a sauce that was so tasty. Love this spot will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Clean, spacious, and fun. They don’t have a drink or food minimum, which I appreciated. The lineup was decent and the menu was comprehensive. It’s part of a restaurant, so their food was great. The service was prompt and friendly. Would recommend for folks who want an alternative to the cellar.

Only came for lunch on a Wednesday and it was empty. Had the chicken sandwich and a side of fries. The hostess was insanely polite and friendly, I would come back just for her. The food was kinda average but I would come here for an easy eat at a nice environment. Would love to come back for the show

This is an ELEGANT comedy club. Took me by surprise. It is such a lovely experience. Great drinks, delicious and extensive menu and the comedians were really impressive, some I even recognized (I’m not that well versed in the comedy scene). This made for a great night out with friends.

My evening at The Stand NYC was an intimate fusion of rustic charm and lively entertainment. As a photographer, I was there to encapsulate the spirit of the comedians, and the venue’s decor provided the perfect backdrop for my lens. With its exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and wooden tables, the ambiance exuded a cozy vibe. The space, thoughtfully arranged with glass partitions, created a private yet inclusive atmosphere, allowing each laugh and expression to resonate personally.

We had a wonderful experience & definitely recommend The Stand! We accidentally purchased our tickets for a show that had already passed and didn’t realize it until we were there for the show we *thought* our tickets were for. The staff was amazing & able to squeeze us into the current show that had just started. We laughed SO hard & had a great time! We ate dinner before coming, but the food looked amazing and the drinks were wonderful. We would definitely come back when visiting New York again.

So interesting - I’m seeing all of these stellar reviews and wonder if I just got there on an off day. I went with a pulsd voucher and promptly received burned pancakes, overly-orange juiced mimosas, and soggy pizza. Don’t get me wrong, the server was fantastic and whenever I sent things back (because please look at the pancake I posted a photo of) he met us with no issue or pushback. I wouldn’t suggest this place to people who are looking to have a conversation while drinking / eating because there were speakers that were a hair too loud all around. But yeah totally don’t understand how this place isn’t getting rated lower after what we experienced yesterday.

I know Comedy Cellar has some great comics, and its own charms but this place was like a more upscale version. The lineup was nuts - TJ Miller, Mark Normand, and Marcello Hernandez just to name a few. Restaurant looked nice as well, but didn’t get an opportunity to eat. Can’t wait to come back.

We went to Frantic, a free show with new comics and it was amazing. No minimums though the server didn't like when we originally said we weren't getting anything (we don't drink). We ended up getting some drinks because the venue and show was so great. The show was phenomenal.

For 15 bucks and no drink minimum the comedy was gold. We really enjoyed 90 minutes of pure laughter. We also dined in the restaurant. The food was great. I would highly recommend this place

Amazing place!! My bf and I got last minute tickets to the 8pm show and we got there super early. Didn't realize there was a restaurant but we were able to be seated right away for dinner while we waited for the show. The staff went above and beyond and were so kind and quick. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the tableware they use for some of the food (pizza, oysters). Way too big for the table itself and makes it hard to eat comfortably. The food was a 10/10 though and the comedy show was just ok! It wasn't the best but I don't blame the restaurant for that. We were given priority seating and everything moved fast. Would definitely go back .

This place is one of a kind !! Amazing for stand up! The vibes are great, the atmosphere is great - haven’t eaten here so can’t review the food , but I have a feeling it will be great too! Shari and Trina are killing it !! They’re super funny. The waitress was friendly and service is right on point. I had a great time & will b visiting again soon. Wonderful date night idea - won’t go wrong.

I don’t really post reviews but I will for The Stand. I went here back in June for my birthday because I really wanted to see my favorite comedian perform. It was a great experience. I love the overall vibe of the place. I went to an 11pm show and the service was great. The drink I had at the bar was delicious and the comedians that performed were great. Will definitely come here again if I’m ever in the city.

We chose this restaurant for its location and it was a really happy surprise. The atmosphere was really nice, decorations for the holiday were lovely. The food was great--we had several small plates and a pizza as well as dessert. Our server, Rebecca, made very helpful wine, cocktail and food suggestions. Great spot.

Went for brunch on a Saturday. Place is very nice, has good vibes and service. I ordered the chicken n waffles but unfortunately they ran out of waffles. But they substituted with their fluffy ricotta filled pancakes. It was really delicious. So good. And of course 2hrs bottomless mimosas. Thank you

Was disappointed by some of the brunch menu options, such as the burger which is literally only the patty, cheese and a sauce, nothing else and no sides. I could get a burger at a diner for cheaper and it would have at least come with lettuce, tomato, and fries. Just didn't seem worth the travel time and money. Our waitress was also very inattentive to her whole section, not just us. We, and a few other people, would have to go to the bar where she was hanging out in order to ask for water, mimosas, let her know we were ready to order food, etc... I shouldn't have to seek out a water refill that intensely. She did arrive at the table quickly when it was 90 minutes and time to pay though, which definitely came off wrong. For water we have to find you, but when it's time to pay and get out you're right there asap? This was my second time here, the first was a few years ago and the experiences are like night and day. Last time we had a great brunch with amazing food and attentive staff and we left as happy as could be. This time we left at the end of brunch and found pizza.

Loved it here. The comedians were hilarious and the food was delicious. Only reason they don’t get 5 stars for me is because I was practically begged for a tip, just felt so uncomfortable. I bought one drink and decided not to leave the $10 suggested on the tip screen, but was basically hasseled into leaving something as if it was mandated. I work in customer service as well and would never blatantly ask for a tip- cheapened the experience for me.

Went with my wife for the Pulsd bottomless brunch deal for $39. The deal overall was decent with the bottomless alcohol being excellent value for money and the highlight of the package. The food however could definitely have been better. We ordered one burger and one margarita pizza. The burger was disappointing in that it came without anything other than pattis and some pickles on the side and we ordered medium rare and it was more on the medium side. They could have included at least some lettuce and tomatoes. To be fair though, the menu did say that it was only the patties. However the burger was juicy and tasty so not too bad. The pizza tasted great, however it was barely warm and far too small for the $20 price tag... It should have been served as soon as it came out the oven. Overall the deal was good value for money. I honestly wouldn't come back here again without some sort of deal due to the food.
