This place has a presence about it. You feel special the second you walk in the doors. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Of course the cigars and drinks are marked up but what would you expect. You are paying for the ambience. I mean I felt under dressed by not having on a sports jacket. The bartender was just lovely. She told some great stories. Let's get her more money. Next time I come back I'll be sure to catch the show.

The Carnegie Club is a very nice place to enjoy friends and meet new people. Cigars are the central theme, so if you don't enjoy cigars or don't want to smell like a cigar when you leave, this is not your place. If you are interested in enjoying craft drinks and a cigar, The Carnegie Club should be on your list.

Outstanding and beautifully paneled cigar lounge in midtown Manhattan. Cigar selection is surprisingly larger than I expected. My first choice was out of stock but my second, third and fourth choices were available 😉. Drink menu has enough variety to please many pallettes.

Great cigar lounge!! Came here randomly with friends Friday late night—luckily there was a table available and they had a live band playing music! It has a pretty cool ambiance here. They let you smoke your own cigars, but they do have a huge selection of cigars as well. The mojitos were decent. Our server was great—friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back!

This is a must-see, must go to type cigar lounge! We've gone here 3 times since finding it! The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, the drinks were amazing, and there's always nice tunes playing. What I love love is that ur not overwhelmed with smoke! They have to have a very good ventilation system. I will definitely visit here again!

Marvellous place, with a fantastic singer, wonderful band and great service! We went on a Saturday night for the 8 o'clock "Sinatra night" show and stayed until closing at 2:00am this is how much we loved it! The appetizers were good, the drinks were delish and the most fantastic part was that you can smoke your own cigarettes and cigars! They also have a great selection of cigars if you decide to purchase from them! Yes it did have smoke but it is a cigar bar not sure what people expect, in-fact my husband (a cigar smoker) and i (a cigarette smoker) were discussing when we left, that we loved that it was not too smoked up! I would be here every weekend if i had the time for it! Fabulous atmosphere, with old New York vibes, l highly recommend this place if you enjoy jazz music and a good cigar/cigarette! Jeff was our server, he was one of a kind! We will be back!

Have been coming here for years, the Carnegie Club is one of the best spots in NYC to have a cigar. Sinatra night on Saturdays is a must do!

What a fun place. I went on a Saturday night and was blessed with being able to see Steve Maglio and The Stan Rubin 11-Piece Orchestra fir Sinatra Saturdays. Amazing! Steve Maglio is a great singer and he tells stories about Sinatra while he sings. I had a couple cigars, a few drinks and even some food… one of my most favorite places I have ever gone. Can’t wait to go back.

Not too many cigar bars left in NYC. This is one of the best in terms of ventilation system and old-school atmosphere. Slot of old timer Zoot-Suit and the jazz music is a great extra touch. Be ready to spend some cash, but worth the it.

Good cigars and service. Whiskey selection is respectable. A bit overpriced but you're paying for ambiance. Worth it for special occasions.

Great place right by Carnegie Hall to duck in for a quiet, relaxing smoke in the afternoon and at night out too. Attentive and welcoming staff. Great ventilation. The modest $15 cutting fee makes it even more conducive to bringing your own stick. Like I did.

The quality of cigars they stock somewhat varies depending on how long it has been there before you get one. A safe option would be going for the most famous one like Cohiba, which is thus less likely to have been stowed down there for long. Bartenders and staffs are friendly and very professional at helping you get the right whiskies, cocktails, and cigars. On Friday nights or weekends you may be requested to move your seat, or even to leave in worse cases, unless you made a reservation in advance.

Pretty cool spot! I showed up on a Saturday night with no reservation and was able to get a bar seat right away. They had a band playing that was decent. Good vibes overall. Cigar selection is average, drinks are ok but the combo of cigar & drinks indoor is worth hanging out there.

Superb Cigar Club. So good, we came here twice on our work trip. Nice selection of cigars and drinks. Laid back, great service. Very good ventilation. It's easy to have a conversation even when it gets busy. A great experience. Visited 4/2022.

Incredible little smoke club makes you feel like a billionaire. Great selection of stogies and a massive selection of various spirits to accompany your smoking experience. Wonderful staff who are very friendly and polite. Wished I had this back home in my part of the state. If I ever come back to Manhattan I think I'll just live here and smoke cigars the whole time. Def worth a stop and have to get the Carnegie punch, it's amazingly delicious

The look and feel of this cigar lounge is exactly what you expect. It's a nice relaxing vibe with great prices on cigars and some nice cocktails. Service was average (I get the difficulty of giving a great service when people are smoking and chatting right there), cocktails were tasty. Overall a great place to sit for a smoke and a drink in NYC.

This place is seriously one of my favorite places I've visited in NYC as someone who has been here 8-9 times. First, we tried getting a reservation for about a month and decided to test our luck by showing up and seeing if anyone was a no show. Luckily for us, a guy was giving up his spot right before the Sinatra Saturday show started. The show was absolutely amazing and we stayed for the second one. Our bartender, I think his name was Joy/Troy?, was FANTASTIC. Incredibly nice and quick to serve everybody's drinks. Couldn't have asked for better. My only complaint is that the announcer specifically said to keep conversations to a minimum during the show and people continued to talk loudly throughout. At one point it was hard to hear the performer during one of my favorite songs. I understand you can't really tell people to not talk at all, but conversations should have been hushed versus yelling because of intoxication. Other than that, it was a great experience!

An iconic institution for cigars. Nice old world charm. Great leather sofas. What I like is the super user friendly cigar menu. They even have a description about each cigar in the menu. Gaby, our hostess was super attentive as well as knowledgeable about cigars. She also gave her recommendations on cigars and that too by just being a passive smoker. 😎😎. Highly recommended place for anyone who loves cigars

Sinatra Saturday is a must go! We had booked a table roughly 2 months in advance, I thought that's a little too long to wait for a night out, but boy was it worth it! We got tickets for the early show and loved the experience so much that we decided to stay for the late show as well. The club accomodated our last minute decision and we even got to keep our table which was amazing. The Stan Rubin Orchestra was fantastic and Steve Maglio waz amazing. Performance was stunning, with subtle jokes and short stories about Sinatra, truly an amazing experience. Steve definitely know how to entertain and was a crowd pleaser. Not a Sinatra impersonator, but a Sinatra lover and a good singer. Food was fantastic, we ordered a few platters and everything was delicious. Cocktails were well crafted, I had a classic old fashioned and was not dissappointed. Our server Jeff was great and catered to all our needs. I definitely would recommend this place to all Sinatra lovers, jazz lovers and cigar afficionados. Can't wait to our next visit. EDIT: Visited again on a Friday night and once again had a great time. This time it was not a Sinatra night and a different band was playing, but it was just as much fun. We made a reservation abt a week in advance, arrived on time and were sitted promptly. Service was once again great, the band was pretty good and the cherry on top was a singer that just stopped for a couple of songs to sing with them, but he was sooo good, that made the experience so much better. Very smooth, mellow voice. We would be back soon, that is for sure. 5/5

I was in the city with my wife on vacation and it was a rainy day. So glad I found a great place to stay dry and relax. Very nice place to have a great cigar and classic Old Fashioned while my wife read her book. Highly recommend the service and atmosphere are top notch.

Nice decent ambience and good Drinks. You can bring your own cigars. That's the place in NY to smoke a cigar. Fully recommended!

It was our friend's birthday, and loves this kind of atmosphere. They had cheese and crackers with wine, and the cigar were great quality. We were a group of 8 each. we split the bill at 75 per person

Wow! Can't say enough great things about this place. Very classy, but relaxed vibe. The staff was great, the cigar menu was good. My waiter cut and lit my cigar for me. If your in NYC and a cigar smoker this is the place to be!

Pretty cool place to sit and chill. You can bring your own cigar they will charge you 15$ for that. My cocktail was not tasty.

Their website let us go ahead and book to see Frank Sinatra tribute show for 8 o'clock. It even asked us to select the 8 o'clock show or the 10..30 show .We bought new jackets to fit the required dress code .We arrived all excited ..but there's NO Frank Sinatra show at all . ..and we recieved no gift as compensation .However its a beautiful building !

Went for our anniversary after dinner. Wow! Great vibes, the rat pack playing on the screens and Sinatra tribute band and singer….amazing. Make the reservation and though can’t see the band from all areas, do to size of the club, still a really great time. If you like cigars and a good cocktail, Can’t Miss! Recommend

This is a great cigar bar with a fantastic Sinatra performance on Saturday evenings. However, the staff at the door is rude and highly disrespectful. Be prepared, even if you have a reservation on a busy evening. I have been a customer for years and never experienced such horrendously disrespectful treatment at the door until recently; how times have changed. There are other cigar bars that deliver a much higher standard for service, recommend checking those out instead.

Just like Sinatra, it's old and dated. Drinks subpar, music decent, no real class. Basically a cigar bar with a band. There is something there. Some people there definitely seemed to enjoy it, but not really worth it. I would just walk in and ask for a seat instead of making a big night out of it. Try the NInes.

Great atmosphere! Very upscale vibe with a laid back reality! Friday nights live entertainment was phenomenal! From the Coat check Girl to the Doorman, 1st class treatment all around!! Our waitress was awesome and attentive recommending a Rocky Patel No.6, I believe. Great Stick a little pricey but a good smoke nonetheless!

Classic Cigar Lounge. Saturday Sinatra was very well done. Excellent scotch list, as well as cigars.
