Excellent latte with beautiful latte art. The place is tiny with 2 tables. It also has little outside area. They take cups app. The barista was skilled and friendly.

Cute, small space with good drink choices for both coffee and non-coffee drinkers! I like coming here on weekdays when it’s not as crowded so I can sit around for a bit. There is a also a great rewards system that gives a free drink after purchase of six drinks.

Went for a quick cup of joe, but they didn’t even have coffee (a coffee shop without coffee 🤷). Had to pay extra for a flat white which was ok. Also bought a cookie that was small, overpriced, and mediocre. Should’ve just went somewhere else when they said we don’t have any coffee.

Spent an hour or so working here. Wifi was super fast. Had great coffee, and an excellent Arnold Palmer after I had over-caffeinated myself. Staff was super friendly and helped me decide on what to get. Ended up getting some pour-over style cans for the road as well (super excited to try). Highly recommend this place!

The coffee is what you’d expect at any small New York coffee shop. The prices are outrageous though. This iced latte was $6.53, I have never been charged that much for a cup of coffee in my life. It’s disgusting expensive for no reason. The coffee is really not worth that much. The woman behind me asked for iced coffee and they told her that they were out of that, kind of weird to be out of iced coffee at 2:00 in the afternoon when all they sell is coffee. Overall i’d go somewhere else. I reached out to them via Instagram to no avail, probably because they have no rebuttal to my claims. They shouldn’t expect people to pay their rent for them and for them to have the audacity to ask for a tip on top of that is laughable.

Not the best coffee I’ve had. But not bad. The prices are what kill me more or less. $7 for a Mocha and they don’t even fill the drinks up all the way.

Best turmeric latte I've ever had. But four stars because there is no outdoor table or seats and the staff was rude.

A tiny coffee spot around the area. They do have seats for people to stay a little bit. Good coffee, staff and services. Recommend to people who want a cozy and quiet place to do some work, with a cup of good coffee. I have to be honest the cappuccino was not the creamiest one I had but the coffee they used to make drinks were good. Maybe black coffee for the pure taste would be the best.

small coffee shop with limited seatings inside. If there’s crowded or you need some fresh air you may consider having outside seats - two benches next to the doorway. I got a hot chocolate - taste ok, not too sweet which is good but the texture is not as thicker as my liking

I caught up with a friend at this small coffee shop over the weekend. There was some limited seating inside which was enough for us. The cortado was solid and their pour over was fantastic. The barista had his coffee knowledge down too. There was a collection of different customers who came through and some with a unique personality that gave the coffee shop a fun vibe. Definitely recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.

Got a blue matcha latte. Tasted like regular matcha latte but was good and well made. Quite expensive for $7.5 though. Also got the jalapeno biscuit, was good.

Whilst traveling always on the lockout for a great cup of coffee (usually have a cortado) and after 4 days pounding the pavements around manhattan, trying out a few places (always searching on google maps for best rated coffee shops, generally avoiding chains) the cortado at Saltwater was probably the best of the lot. Small shop, perfect for quick coffee sit down or takeaway. Cool t shirts too!

Found this place by chance and I love it. Service was friendly and coffee was good. Their prices are very reasonable, especially during this time of inflation. I'll definitely be back!

Won’t be coming back here. Came in an hour ago to do work as door said place open until 7 pm and had to do some work, false advertising. Paid for iced coffee and a over priced bottle of water. Suddenly was told at 5 place was closing up. Won’t be coming back.

Nice little cafe serving great coffee and pastries. They do beautiful latte art. I had a tumeric latte and a pain au Chocolat and they were both very good. We served quickly and the staff was friendly. Great chilled out atmosphere.

Everything about this place is amazing! The workers, the coffee, the service and the shop is extremely cute! The wall decors are extremely suitable and cute. They have so many drinks to offer and have pastries as well! Would recommend to anyone around the area! I'm totally coming back for more and to try the drinks again. Turmeric was never a go to but I fell in love with it after one taste and you will too!

I love this coffee shop. They carry gluten free muffins, which is amazing, and their barista drinks are excellent. I had an absolutely heavenly iced matcha latte recently. I believe they use ceremonial grade matcha and don't use a premade matcha latte mix like many other coffee shops. The service is always great too. Definitely a fave!

My favorite coffee shop in the East Village. Drinks are great, everything is reasonably priced, and the staff is awesome. Definitely stop by if you're in the neighborhood.

Came here on a late Friday afternoon. Very peaceful vibes inside, with some folks quietly reading and others quietly working. Super clean spot with chill music quietly playing in the background. The gentleman at the front had a positive aura matching the rest of the vibes of the place and produced an amazing latte with beautiful latte art to match. Would definitely recommend as a solid coffee spot in the East Village area!

I was really pumped to try to Saltwater coffee, but had quite a negative experience. I ordered ahead 15 minutes, yet when I arrived my order wasn’t made and the barista was chatting with friends. He then made a hot latte instead of iced and when I let him know I ordered iced, he responded “no you didn’t.” I proceeded to show him my order that did in fact say iced. He then simply poured the hot latte over ice. The coffee quickly melted and I now have a lukewarm coffee. It seemed that the barista made every mistake possible and never apologized or made an attempt to make my experience a positive one. Saltwater fell short with quality and service, especially for a $8.00 coffee
