Beautiful space but I found it incredibly impractical for actual shopping and a very awkward experience. It felt more like a gallery than something I could interact with. Prices weren’t listed and some QR codes were broken. Everyone was very nice and the space was beautiful, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone really. I think a more interactive space with the same approach to a beautiful and indulgent experience is the Tin Building, it just works a little better. One thing I really liked was the black owned brands highlight. I would have bought something if there were more color ways, I really liked a necklace but it was only in this copper rose gold color.

I was chasing new designer brand name "Pipatchara" The name of the brand is the same name of designer. Her base store are in Thailand, Japan and some country in Europe. When I saw she has a temporary showcase in New York at Showfields, I have to check it out. The space for designer and product show are 3 floors. The building is in the middle of trendy young gen area. No Public Restroom Available!!! Keep in mind. The front door and staff seems like very new for the industry, look friendly but not helpful and not knowledgeable. When I first stepped in I feel like this place is for a tourist, LOL. I understand New Designer that want to advertise their work to the world and Manhattan is a good place to display their piece of art and because they are very new it is hard to connect with a big commercial department store like Macy's, saks fifth, bergdorfgoodman or neiman marcus but Showfields I believe doesn't do good marketing for those designer. Only elevator for going up and down. The stairs is for only staff. Some fun slice from 3rd floor to 2nd floor is plus. I hope the Designer advertise their product more because the place looks haunted. You can purchase any product if you like and I believe the price is good with discount or better than the price their put on the websit. Overall, This place still have lots of space for new designer for their showcase. If Showfields want to get more audience, They need to do better marketing and more product in the building. For chilling out day and nothing to do want to killing time I think this place will be entertaining.

Very innovative retail environment showcasing direct to consumer startups and brands in demonstration displays. Staff is outstanding and play their roles well within the storytelling structure, and the experience tour is one of the more unique innovations in retail anywhere in the industry. Combining story structure, product placement, and demonstrations the purveyors create context to represent product features. Madam Showfields is an enlightened hostess caring for most of her guests the way a self-medicated auntie would deliver nearly all the children back to their pensive parents. If Wonka were a retailer, he would be second fiddle.

This was such a picture worthy experience! It’s definitely a concept stores/boutiques should consider. My sister & I went back in December 2019. From the first floor all the way up was something to do, see & touch. A place perfect for stimulating all 5 senses! Unfortunately this location in Manhattan is longer there..I would recommend visiting any ShowFields popup location, I definitely felt like a kid in a candy store. So glad I was able & encouraged to document our visit, cause I definitely wouldn’t have remembered half of what we saw!

I have a mixed relationship, it’s a outstanding store with gorgeous displays and cool products that I have bought and loved. However it is a very weird purchasing experience. You are constantly followed through the store and really can’t go more than 2 seconds without a employee asking you what you are looking for. It’s like they all assume you are going to steal. It feels very museum like, the vibe is extremely uncomfortable and I don’t go in often due to it.

It’s like a museum for modern products. When I went it seemed like they were pretty overstaffed and it felt like 5x more staff than customers. The products are cool and modern, but the prices are prohibitive for most people. But fun just to check it out (like a free museum).

Disappointed. Majority of the products are super expensive…how are you about to have a fun concept, with a slide, directing ur store to a younger audience, but have overpriced brands/items??? Doesn’t make sense.

This place was very cute. The slide to begin the tour is a great touch. The tour guide would rather have been anywhere but showing us around and it felt like she was doing us a favor. You could buy beer on the 3rd floor while you browse which was awesome but not a single recycling bin in the building. There was a skincare brand that was adorable and pushed the female empowerment aspect but the whole experience created a lot of trash over the course of a few minutes which irked me. Like trying a tiny sample of scrub on your hand to wipe it off with a one time use makeup wipe 15 seconds later and a shot of a fruit shake in a paper cup. I would just hope that this kind of establishment would be pushing a greener existence if it is supposed to feel cutting edge instead it was more fad. I would maybe shop there because the little stores are adorable but it would be great if the slide didnt require a reservation and instead was a $2 donation to charity or something because I would have loved to skip the interaction with the host and just explore without her half smiles and looking down her nose at us.

Really fun! The staff were really nice and offered me help if I needed it. One recommended I try the slide. It was awesome and I felt so happy after. Every floor felt unique and the design was very clean and minimalist but also colorful and funky. Brightened my day and I’d definitely go back sometime!

Such an unpleasant experience I had in this very confusing store. Shelves were empty, price missing and unknown brands which nobody want. I was helped by a red hair employee named Ashlyn who expressed no need and no willingness to assist me. Save yourself the visit plus their reviews online (Google, Yelp and Glassdoor) are so horrendous, I should have checked first.

The staff is super friendly, even the security guard! I was waiting for my friend and he encouraged me to go inside and check it out. He informed me that there were free waffles so I should try some. The staff inside were welcoming and tried to offer help whenever. The free arcade was super entertaining and the games they had were very fun. The decor is very aesthetic and each cubby/compartment has its own theme. My friend and I took so many pictures because of how beautifully decorated it was. The slide was also very fun!

Found out about this place through a meetup app. It was a very interesting experience and quiet a few surprises that I won't spoil for any newcomers. But all I will say is even if you dont plan on buying anything just going here for the visuals, the art, and something to inspire you is more than enough reason to check it out. Just keep in mind you have to reserve a spot on their website for the tour at least.

What an awesomely fun experience! The store itself is pretty random, offering a brick and mortar location for small shops that are normally only offered online. We went to check out their pop up video arcade - which was AWESOME! Free classic games like Frogger and Mrs. Pac-Man - and the units are small enough and decently priced if you want to take the fun home. But there were all other sorts of great little items to check out. And the SLIDE! That's right, there is a slide you can take from the 3rd floor to the 2nd! You'll want to have that experience! We were informed by the very friendly and cool staff members that they also offer experiences. Check out their website to see what fun adventures you can have!!!

Gabby and Mickaila went above and beyond. We were looking for a place to take a gang of teenage girls after a birthday lunch and this was perfect. I submitted an online request to have someone talk to them about Showfields as a concept. I missed their email reply and was pleasantly surprised that something had been organized when we arrived. Thank you Showfields for showing us a great time!

I was just expecting more from this concept store. The products were not that original or interesting. CBD, purses, sneakers, was hoping for something more unique.

Three floors of cool displays of products. It would probably take 20-30 minutes max to walk through everything. It's free so I suggest you go if you are tired from shopping at Soho and want some air conditioning.

My job did a work event here, it was really nice and colorful. The slide is cool but also kind of scary (I don’t like small spaces, longer than I expected it scared me)

It was great. Spent maybe 1-2hr here. They had arcade machines for sale and to try, lots of interesting brands like waterdrop that don't have traditional store fronts. There was a winding slide from the 3rd to the 2nd floor. The 4th floor is an event space. The 3rd is clothes/fashion and arcade. The 2nd floor ranges from cosmetics to furniture to sex toys and water bottles. The 1st floor is art, mental health and boxing? Come here as an extension to Soho or stop by after a treat at levain's bakery. Quiet, not crowded but not bathrooms.

This place is amazing and the people working there even more. Me and my boyfriend went after have seen it online and it didn’t disappoint. Variety of products that you wouldn’t find somewhere else or only online, and they have a slide!!!!!

Stopped by for the first time the other day and it was a great way to end the day. My girlfriend and I love the free arcade. The workers are so nice and funny there I wish I got their name to give them credit. I work customer service myself and I know how hard it can be to continue to be nice towards the ending of the shift and they were nice from the moment we got there until it closed. Definitely will be coming by again 😁

A nice spot to stop by if you're in the area. Staff were super friendly. It felt more like an art gallery than a mall so it makes the experience of shopping more fun.

Our guide Danisha was such a sweetheart. Loved her felt like more like hanging out with an old friend. Walking around was such a cute experience and seeing all the different products. I can't wait to use somethings I bought. Will definitely come again. Make sure to go down the slide.

A wild store! A truly unique offering. It has a delicious mushroom coffee shop, crazy installations and a trippy slide. Think “Alice in Wonderland” meets Saks Fifth Avenue.
