Step back in time and enjoy a straightforward yet adorably endearing tea/coffee buying experience. This is a multi-generation stop that, overall, seems unchanged by the passage of decades outside its windows. This is in the best way, as it’s an experience all its own. They have a massive selection of coffee and tea here, with many different flavors and hard to find options. You can buy it by the pound. For the coffee, it’s either whole beans or they’ll grind it to your specified fineness. Their coffees and teas are always delicious and they’re so kind in the shop.

Immerse yourself in the sweet smells of teas, stored in glass jars, measured in classic brass weighing scoops. Tea from Iceland, teas full of fruit infusions. Victoriana styled store, old tea chests on the floor. This place is a sensual pleasure

This place is a gem. I love the setup of their store! Seeing all the jars of tea across the walls and island, and bags of coffee lining the room had a real old-school, but classic feel. One of the coolest tea and coffee suppliers anywhere. Super helpful and friendly staff. Their tea and coffee quality are top notch and there's a great variety of products here. Tourists and locals alike should come shop at McNulty's.

The people here love tea and coffee. Hard to beat the enthusiasm and knowledge here. Anything here for this long must be doing something right.

All sorts of teas and coffees for sale here. It's very old fashioned, dark and has loads of jars of tea and coffee around, with old fashioned scales and grinders. It's like walking back in time, definitely an interesting place to visit.

I love this place!!! Best store to buy coffee beans and tea. I love their own special blends. It's not expensive either and you can buy whole beans or have them grind them for you. Just walking into the store smells amazing. I HIGHLY suggest coming here for HOLIDAY GIFTS.

It did not live up to it's reputation. I asked what roast was best for cold brew and bought their recommended roast. It cost almost twice as much as my usual coffee from Marie's at Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. For that money I expected a clearly superior brew; instead it was not as good as I am used to. I will give them another chance with a different roast prepared in a French Press.

Staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, polite and attentive. Wonderful selection of mostly loose tea. This trip I got Irish Style and also Gunpowder Tea and they were both delicious. Prices are great and actually compare favorably to supermarket teas, where you spend a lot on packaging and tea bags. A simple tea ball goes for $4.

Went here to pick out some special coffees and teas for part of my friend's wedding gift. I drink coffee and tea all the time so I was excited to see this place. I wasn't sure what flavors of each to get as a gift (they had soooo many) but the person behind the counter was extremely helpful in pointing out popular flavors depending on roast/tea style. As someone who was upset after moving to NY that I would no longer be able to go back to the tea and coffee shop in my old state, I'm extremely happy I found this place. I will definitely frequent this shop to restock my own coffees and teas in the future!!

What a great shop! My husband is a tea maker and needed a big restock of a whole bunch of tea bases. McNulty’s had a great selection and the shop staff were very efficient at filling our order. Prices are what I would expect, perhaps more expensive than a random online shop, but the ingredients are sure to be quality and getting to look at and smells the teas before ordering was nice.

This place is the quintessential New York City shop. The old-time charm is enough to keep one lingering in the shop, not to mention the aroma of tea and coffee. I'm a not a connoisseur of tea. My friend is. She says the tea here is superior than that very well-known Chinese tea shops in the city.

How nice is their serenity blend! Has become my nightly ritual! I just wish they could also increase their international selection of teas, I found that they were out of stock with a few of the popular commercial blends

This is the store I stopped by when I went on a trip to New York. First of all, this shop's blended coffee has a good taste. They also have tea. And there is a very kind owner. I will definitely stop by next time I go to New York. It's a very nice store.

One of my favorite tea and coffee suppliers in the city! Very kind and helpful folks and a large selection! I make a trip into the city to restock on their Moroccan mint tea whenever I am running low

McNulty's offers a wide variety of teas and coffee. It is usually crowded, because the quality of their products is quite high. The prices range depending on what you are buying. I got half a pound of jasmine green tea. It was wonderful.

This is seriously the best tea shop I’ve ever been to huge selection of teas that I’ve never heard of, but had to try. Some of the prices will rock your pocketbook. It’s dark and old and inviting and one of the must visits in New York City

They do seem to have an extensive collection of teas. However, the quality of teas is poor. I am a tea aficionado and I can tell good tea from bad. Either they gave me really old tea or a poor quality one because it was definitely not what I requested. Happened twice and I do not buy from here anymore. If you know nothing about tea, then yes, go ahead and drink whatever they give ya!

Wow. Simply the greatest coffee and tea emporium rest of the Mississippi. The staff/ owners are super nice and help with everything. Delicious.

Large selection of premium teas, including Indian/Sri Lankan/Nepalese black tea and Chinese black, oolong, and green teas. Quality is good and prices are as good or better than you'll find online. They'll going to be my go-to tea spot from now on; I can't vouch for the coffee yet but I'll definitely give it a try!

Stumbled upon this gem just strolling the West Village and couldn’t be more impressed. It’s a family establishment that has been around since 1895! They have tens of imported teas and coffees, perfect for gifts or personal consumption. David was incredibly helpful in helping make sense of their vast range of choices, and the store owners all love their baseball

I don't visit NYC often, but when I do, McNulty's is on the list of must visit places. The teas are so well curated and the atmosphere is special. In this world of generic Starbucks and Dunkin', McNulty's is a special treat for the senses and the psyche.

Helpful staff, high quality tea at fair prices. Very unique store, like stepping back in time.
