The food was okay. One of the staff members seems angry when asked what particular food was(Food had no labels). The other staff members were kind, respectful and didnt have an attitude.

What an experience. I loved how clean the restaurant is above all. Color is added to black and white decor with the addition of fresh fruits, veg, food and teas. I love that we can try so many different things in one plate and their parking lot makes it easy to grab a box to eat in the car. The rice and peas are beyond perfection. Tried the quinoa And didn’t love it. Boiled provisions are my fav. The steamed veggies are colorful and perfectly cooked. I got to add crunchy raw veg on top my plate at the end. Don’t forget to ask for plantain, I did :( my main was the chana curry which was soooooo good. They had akee patty’s which I will try next time and my ginger tea was so strong, I went home and made three cups out of it. I waited a for a slice of Mac and cheese. It was good but DEF which needs work. there was not much flavor besides the top. Verdure is strong. Love it and will be back.

Amazing!!! Vegan!!! The “In Love the cocoa” smoothie was so delicious reminds me of the Wendy’s frosty without the dairy!

While their food is great, I wouldn’t recommend going to their store. They treat their customers very poorly, talking to them very unprofessionally, and gets very disrespectful, especially the managers. Even when you ask a question, they would give you attitude . It felt like their main objective was just making money. I was so shocked because I was a regular customer, until one day I was in the bathroom and the manager banged on the door and demanded I hurry up because he had to pee badly, then proceeded to curse at me. All he had to do is politely ask. Why would you do that to a regular customer who was always respectful to you. I vowed to never visit their store again.

I bought their Jackfruit, Quinoa, and Broccoli, and it was good, so I went back and got some Fried Mushrooms with Vegan Mac'n cheese, and all the food I tried so far was good. Even the Fried Mushrooms was delicious 😋

Ein ganz tolles veganes Restaurant. Es gab so viel Auswahl, wir durften sogar vorher etwas probieren. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, wir haben dann vegane Mac and Cheese genommen. Sehr lecker, schade das wir nicht noch mehr probiert haben. Klare Empfehlung.

I am SO HAPPY THIS PLACE EXISTS. The buffet I always wanted but as a vegan couldn't get. Everything from mac n cheese to ackee Patties and health tonics, this is a one stop shop to make a vegan happy. Cannot get enough. BIG UPS

I love food and I generally eat meat, HOWEVER this restaurant has changed my mind. The food is fresh, the flavors complement one another & I can not eat meat anymore. There's no need! Verdure is amazing! Make sure you get a juice (made to order) with your meal. Super tasty!

Food was good . So good that I returned twice in the same week . My husband goes here often but this was my first time coming myself . I did not appreciate the “customer service “ from the slim dark skin server with a low cut . She was very short with me and seemed annoyed when I asked her what was on the tray line . Fine, I let it go figured maybe she was having a bad day . However when I returned the second time it was the SAME attitude so therefore that is just her personality . Unfortunately she lives up to the stigma they have against us Jamaicans saying that we have nasty attitudes . I removed one star because of her . She needs to stay in the back if she doesn’t know how to be pleasant and it at least smile and act like she likes her job . Besides that I would return.

Love it! Just stumbled on to this place last week. No soy and the food is full of flavor. Still trying everything but everything is good! My favs so far are the Mac and cheese, reggae pasta, and the Beyond beef and cheese patty. Aside from theat, the service is great. Their energy is good. They charge per item and you can choose to get half portions or full portions so it can get pricey of you're not careful but the food is worth it!

Very very clean owned and operated by Ms Shauna Kay (a black business). The food was spectacular and the smoothies are made fresh. Get a vegan juice, it makes you feel lighter. They had banana bread made without eggs. All the recipes were thoughtfully made and precisely for the vegan or vegetarian. You will not be disappointed. The owner and her family are vegans too.

I paid over $50 on Uber eats for food and when it got here, the amount could barely stretch for me and my wife. I don't understand why these places don't like to cook more food, instead they short their loyal customers. It is unacceptable to have only a set amount of food that must last the entire day for all customers, that just doesn't make sense. People are sending their hard earned dollars to NOT get short changed. I think this is my last order from this place.

Verdure restaurant is a great idea during the era of wanting to have more healthy options within the food arena. It’s a Caribbean menu **healthy food choices** within that culture, no meat and an array of healthy juices, smoothies, pastries and more. I’ve decided to give them 3 STARS because I’ve seen a declined in the quality. An e.g., (1) the RELEASE JUICE said to have ginger and lime has no taste of the ginger or lime, plus the pineapple juice taste like a pre-package pineapple juice either from the tin or bottle. If that is the case it should be declared on the product. The assumption when purchasing is that all is made fresh and from scratch because the theme is healthy — the taste is not of a naturally juiced pineapple. (2) Orange juice pre bottles also tastes of pre packaged “presumably” naturally squeezed orange juice. When orange juice is naturally squeezed the mixture is light and separates easily **verses** the juices there it’s thick and tastes similar to a Tropicana orange juice “pasteurized almost.” (3) The Ackee is cooked with Tin Mix Vegetable. We all know tin products are harmful and it’s best to cook with natural. (4) The overall quality when the store first opened to today has declined. I’d like to see a return to timely and healthy prepped meals. Yes—the customer based has grown but the quality should not declined because the demand has increased. Again, this is under the presumption of ** HEALTHY BRAND** the Verdure Restaurant advertised.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this great place. happy to tell that it was a sensational evening and the restaurant was absolutely the reason for that strong event. The crew collaborated in a splendid style, the food was extremely good and my guests were so glad. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

I have been searching high and low for this vegan option for Jamaican food. The ambiance is all too perfect. The decor is clean, complete with power outlets w/ USB charging outlets for customers dining in, there is cash and cashless options and it's complete with a juice bar. The staff is efficient and looks professional in there uniform. No gazing at cellphones. The customer are taken cared of first and there is no side talking while customers needs to be served. I didn't give five stars because these was no offer of receipt when I paid in cash, but if they wanted to save paper, they could have given me the email option.

Yup! They’ve improved customer service. My server Keke was amazing. The vibe of the restaurant felt warm and welcoming. Go early at lunch time for the Mac and cheese yall…they run out quick. Food was amazing. I’ll always support this restaurant.

More modern West Indian vegetarian restaurant. Bright, airy and helpful service with very tasty and fresh choices and parking is readily available. Only issue is that they charge you per choice($7) instead of set options like 3 choices for a small etc. so it can get very pricey. So 4 stars.

I took the drive to Canarsie to try out Vendure. It popped up on my insta a few times. They have a juice section and a food section, the juice section was busier. I ordered wild rice (which is priced more than the other rice options) and stew peas with fried cauliflower brushed with BBQ sauce. The cauliflower was excellent. The stew peas had too many 'spinners' and was missing that real stew peas taste with the tyme and pimento flavor. The strangest thing is their pricing, everything is priced individually and added to your plate versus the traditional way of meal pricing.

Sophia great help and many VEGAN breakfast options that are naturally delicious. You can't miss coming in here. Oh they also have healthy smoothies too

Good food. Awful customer service from 1 slim dark-skinned lady; other staff are polite. Several complaints of her rudeness yet no decision to bench or retrain her on chivalry, one must conclude that this represents the management. I’ll be boycotting them, and I suggest you do the same, for a few months until something changes (willing to update review on reform). P.S. Dear “rude gal”, I have no ill will against you and I know that only by love is love awakened. However sometimes love punishes repeat offenders so they can reform and be converted. Had Gungo peas soup today. Red peas las saturday....Both were worth the drive. Ackee patty was made with coconut oil and was sooooo gooood!!!!!

I was looking for a ital restaurant in Brooklyn and I stumbled upon them though they were under the vegan restaurant tab.If you are looking for a good Ital or vegan restaurant this is the place.The food was amazing!! Staff was very friendly,and they had a variety of foods to choose from.I asked alot of questions about the food,and the young lady that was serving me was very pleasant,she didn't seem to be bothered at all.I also had the Verdue Juice,it was very good!! You won't be disappointed,take the trip.The atmosphere is alo very clean, warm and welcoming👍

Some of the workers just rude to the people who be ordering the food. You have the big dumpling’s (dark skin girl)like to give little bit food people and you spending your money there. Than you have the other dark skin tall girl with hair (ponytail) have a deep voice she like to hang up on people they so rude. Other than that the food is excellent.

I stumbled across this gem and I am blown away! This was the best vegan food I've EVER had! Nice clean atmosphere and friendly service. Food was packed full of flavor! O was scrapping the box! You will not be disappointed! I don't live in BK, but I'll most certainly be back!

Solid caribbean inspired vegan restaurant with good food, affordable, buffet style, menu changes daily. Also have soups, breakfast, patties (ackee 😋) Very good spot if you do not eat soy. Clean environment, friendly owner.

Hiding gem. I found this amazing and delicious vegan restaurant on my drive in Brooklyn. I gave this restaurant 5 stars but personally I’ll give them 10 stars.. The food is taste so clean, is not oily or too much salt or spices it is just perfect. The restaurant is very clean and the service is excellent. I recommend this restaurant to vegans and not Vegan. Definitely come back again and again and again. 😋🤤😋🤤

Some servers do not wear hair nets and carry an attitude as well in the front. No greetings given or a thank you. The smoothie has juice in it that tastes very sour and old. The food taste bland and boring. Light up the herbs and peppers and make the thing nice. Need new recipes and different types of selections on the line. Overpriced and bland food and smoothies.

Food was amazing as usual. Employees are very courteous. I recommend here if you want healthy food that is always fresh and taste great.

Ordered through Uber Eats. I got: - BBQ & Jerked Black Bean Burger - Empanadas - Plantain Sliders. The 2 Burgers we got are a sorry excuse for a good burger. They were very dry, looks like it was made by under 2 mins, the breads were dry. It’s the kind of burger I would eat when I’m drunk. The plantain sliders are really good though, they’re very juicy & really like them. I would order them again definitely. The empanadas are okay too, I like the beef inside, really enjoyed it. Stay away from the burger, it’s a waste of money.

Very nice vegetarian food and juices, nice clean place, but I give a one star, I was there yesterday and came across a very unpleasant server, if you need to upkeep this business please speak to some of your employees, attitude was not welcoming and encouraging to come back and buy. Otherwise very tasty and nice food.

Food is always on point. I'm happy to see the menu expanding constantly. My only criticism is each item is sold separately so it can be pricey. But good ain't cheap and cheap ain't good. This is a Jamaican vegan restaurant that I wish well upon. In a world of carnivores they will stand out. Did I mention black owned also? If you're in the Canarsie area in Brooklyn go check them out. Found this place by accident but I will continue to patronize from this establishment. Curry cabbage flavorful, Red Pea soup was delicious despite the absence of meat. Dumplings were not made with process white flour and they taste amazing. The ginger lime juice made with agave was simply awesome. I only had dinner but I'm sure their breakfast is good as well

The restaurant is clean. The service is friendly and in my case patient since I had no idea what I wanted and the food options are great. Everything I ordered was delicious! I'll be back to try other delicacies for sure!

This was My first time walking in there and was super excited to try this food! The ladies all have nasty attitudes, sitting around the food, looking like I was bothering them in their establishment. I didn’t even get to taste that dry-looking food, because their attitude was disgusting off rip. You’re a black owned business, in a black neighborhood, promoting a healthy lifestyle, it cost you nothing to be pleasant. Do better!
