Came for the NYC Restaurant Week menu. Had a great dinner night here. Drinks were good (so good that i drank them before even taking a picture), the cucumber cosmo was a very tasty variation of this classic. Food was tasty, only ordered the vegetarian options and they didn’t disappoint. Wasn’t a big fan of the Lemon & Olive Oil Cake, although it’s a good option for those who don’t like super sweet desserts. Service was beyond perfect, our server was super sweet and the staff were always checking on us.

We were in NYC to watch the Radio City show and my sister recommended this restaurant and I am so glad that we tried it! The place is big and busy, very clean and cozy! The service was great, we had reservation so we had table in couple of minutes and the food came out quickly and fresh and delicious! The menu is very small and I think it’s great! The flavor was amazing, definitely worth the price!

I was skeptical at first but ended up Loving the food. We had the palella and the beef burger Both the dishes were well made and delicious. I usually love when the palella has a crusty rice bottom and it was just perfect. The burger had a yum caramelized onion layer. The service was fantastic and it was a good find!

Fig and Olive totally knocked it out of the park with service. Carlos was excellent along with the other servers that worked with him. Gave great recommendations on drinks. They have some of the best crostini ever, so delicious. Would definitely recommend coming to this location. Very affordable for the food quality and level of service in New York City.

Great fresh food at this location. Went for birthday Lunch for my daughter and she really enjoyed herself. We had the most amazing waiter in the world. He was so engaging and made us all feel like we alone at the restaurant and he was just giving us too notch service. Kudos! We tried a wide variety of appetizers and entrees and every single one was delicious. The dips are all amazing they are a must try. Definitely recommend if your in the area. I will definitely be coming back to try the dinner menu. Cheers!

Food was okay, I wasn't overly impressed with anything except the rosemary olive bread starter and the peach pistachio frangipane tart dessert! Meal was so-so and it got quite crowded / somewhat loud during the lunch rush. There are better meals in the area for the same price point.

The food was delicious, tasted very fresh, and wasn't very heavy. Loved the ambience and location. The meal was a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth splurging for!

We had a nice time. Easy walk from our hotel in Park Lane - a great location! Ambience was great - we were shown quickly to our table and provided with menus. Service could have been a tad quicker but nothing to complain about really as it was a busy Friday evening. The Burrata starter was nice - but could’ve done with more burrata and less squash. Had the vegetarian pasta with mushrooms which was quite decent. My friend really liked the burger. We had cocktails with the starter and a glass of California Chardonnay with the mains. Portions were quite large so we didn’t have dessert. Overall would recommend.

Stopped in and were quickly seated on a Monday night. Fantastic dinner! The Mediterranean tacos reminded me of mooshu. I think it was the fennel. They were incredible. Delicious mix of flavors. The mushroom croquettes were perfectly crispy outside and creamy inside. The fruit topped lebneh and hot pita were sweet and tart, with crunchy, chewy, and creamy textures. The combination of the burrata with beets and apples was so good. Mixing it with the lebneh and pita was so good, as well!

Not the place to go if you have a gluten allergy or need to be gluten free, there are so few gluten options it was almost laughable. I think it’s one of those situations where they were being overly cautious, but wow. I was the only GF at the table and we ordered the crustini’s, they all came out on Cucumber. When we asked for the original, they came out on cucumber again. The place felt a little chaotic when we first came in and even after being seated. I can’t speak to what the rest of the group got, but as a person with a gluten allergy, I would not be back.

Really nice place. The food was really good. We just walked in and got a table right away. We had Mafaldine and Free-Ranch Chicken. Both were really good. The portions of the dishes are good. We shared an appetizer (Tuna Meatballs, OK, but I would try something else) and each had an entre and we could not have dessert

The food was good I just don't know if it's worth the price. They did have a good twist on some traditional dishes. Some of the staff was friendly others not as much as they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Over all I would recommend trying them as their twist on dishes is unique. Just don't think we'd go more than once.

We were walking around and we found this beautiful place, where the food was really good and the waitress gave us a couple recommendations, she was really nice :) We’ll be back

The decor was nice. Service was mediocre… Server took a long time to greet the table. Food was good.

All great! I would say they need better options for dessert and change the cushions on seating in the back. I will dine here again.

Excellent brunch on a Sunday. Gem Salad was phenomenal, French toast elegant and omelette with seasonal veggies and romesco superb. Waiter was energetic and coffee was superb

No complaints. The food was delicious, great service, nice ambiance! Highly recommend and I would definitely eat here again. We had several appetizers for the table, all which were good: mushroom croquettes, the octopus, the mezze and dips. I ordered 1 small plate (whole shrimp) and two sides (asparagus and fingerling potatoes) to "make my own" entree. Finished it off with the sorbet, everything was great!

My friends and I ventured to Fig and Olive for a special Valentine's Day dinner, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there were a few areas where things could be improved. The Positives: - Ambiance: The restaurant absolutely nailed the romantic atmosphere. The dim lighting, elegant décor, and comfortable seating created a perfect backdrop for our special evening. - Service: Despite a few hiccups, our server was friendly and attentive. They were quick to address any requests we had and genuinely seemed invested in our experience. - Food Portions: While the flavors weren't mind-blowing, the portions were generous, ensuring we left feeling comfortably full. Areas for Improvement: * Food Quality: We ordered the prefix menu for Valentine's Day. While the food wasn't bad, it lacked the "wow" factor we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. The flavors felt a bit muted and the dishes could have benefited from some bolder seasoning or more innovative combinations. * Operational Flow: Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few logistical hiccups. Running out of bread right at the start set a slightly off-putting tone, and my friend's order arriving slightly incorrect further impacted the flow of the evening. Additionally, the wait times for food felt longer than expected, especially considering the restaurant wasn't overly busy. Overall: Fig and Olive offered a charming ambiance and friendly service, but the food quality and operational flow need some refinement to truly live up to its potential. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback to help them elevate their offerings and provide a consistently excellent dining experience for future guests ❤️

Italian bar with Style and a nice menú. We went for launc AND ate some great salads. Not cheap.

The food combinations were simple and so incredibly flavorful, not to mention beautifully presented. Top-notch dining and very reasonably priced for NY Restaurant Week. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the city.

Originally came here for Restaurant Week but decided to order from their impressive regular menu instead. Delicious food and good portion size. We had the octopus, lamb skewers and two sides. The lamb was flavorful and not gamy, and the octopus texture was on point. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Great place to celebrated my birthday! Beautiful presentation of the crostini plate. Mediterranean Branzino was delicious! I liked the toppings on the chocolate mousse. Staff was kind & attentive.

Good spot for a quick bite at the bar. Came here for an early dinner and ordered just appetizers (wild white shrimp and little gem salad with a side of shrimp). Both were presented nicely, however the wild shrimp sauce was quite oily for me, and I had to ask the bartender for some bread twice, was surprised it wasn't offered when we placed the order. The side of shrimps were salty. Little Gen salad was perfect.

Very good quality food, unique tastes and aromas, amazing crostini. We especially enjoyed the ones with the caramelized onions. Staff very attentive and polite. Dessert came too late and they apologized and didn't charge it in the end. The cappuccino was from machine, could be better. But all in all, surely recommended.

Oh my gosh...the crostini is AMAZING...particularly the caramelized onion and the tomato and pesto one. Excellent, amazing and worth the money!

The original one on the upper East side closed due to pandemic. But same authentic spot. A must if you like small bites and love wine. Lara was so great, made me feel back at home. 😍

Amazing food! I got the chicken paillard, the chicken was so tender and the tomato sauce was delicious.

The food was great, atmosphere and setting incredible. The staff was courteous and didn’t linger around too much. I hate it when intense conversations have to be edited cause of restaurant staff being too attentive. Took a family friend there with our teenage kids and they also enjoyed it very much. Definitely going back

For the most part the food was superb, the ingredient quality was excellent, the preparation was perfect, I don't even like peas but I loved the peas here. The vegetables are all clearly prepared with love, or at least diligence, precision, and care. But when dessert came, I ordered the "seasonal fruit" - which I wouldn't have done if the food hadn't been so excellent up to that point - and instead got semi-ripe melon, and some berries that could have come from a grocery store, one of which was moldy. It was disappointing to end a meal this way, and makes me wonder whether the uniformly excellent execution up until that point was just due to me having ordered the best dishes.

I got a chance to try this restaurant just before COVID! Everything was great. Do not forget to try their awesome desserts!
