Good coffee, nice spot for brunch! They had vegan, and vegetarian friendly options, and the place is dog friendly. I tried the bean soup which was great, and a hearty cup of fruits. The tofu bites, and grilled cheese dippers were incredible!

One of the most affordable happy hours we’ve found in the city, and located at such a great location. The happy hour starts at 3pm with certain beers at $4 and cocktails at $7. There’s also certain shareable food options at $8. We thought the food was okay but the drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Good for a last minute walk-in if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to come here since the food is nothing special. I got the Vegan Breakfast Burrito and Chocolate Chip Pancakes. The burrito was flavorful but unfortunately the pancakes tasted very artificial. Service was quick!

Love this spot!!!! First time dining in -- service is amazing, good is outstanding!!! Found my fav salad , their Roasted chicken and avocado bowl -- WOW SUOER SUPER GOOD! And the size is perfect, big enough for lunch (half) and the other half for dinner 😁 I had a couple of mimosas too! Their drinks are great.

Grey Dog Cafe has been a long-time favorite of mine, thanks to its cozy ambiance and consistently delicious menu. While I've always cherished the experience here, it's fair to mention that the recent price increase has made it a bit less budget-friendly. Nevertheless, the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere still make it a worthwhile choice for those special occasions or when treating yourself to a delightful meal. 🍽️✨

Great lunch with excellent service. They happily subbed gluten free bread and worked with other dietary restrictions.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant and both times were absolutely wonderful. Our server Zoe was incredible with both service as well as great menu recommendations. Definitely one of my favorite places in the city.

Warm, wooden diner serving familiar classics with friendly staff. The decor is charming, a great place to meet for breakfast. We ordered the pancakes and an egg croissant. Only four stars because the food was a bit plain, even unsalted, and we felt it didn’t quite live up to the look of the place.

An extremely friendly and laid back place to stop by for brunch. Though the city is packed with eateries serving brunch but very few are as friendly yet good as the Grey Dog. We came late around 2 and hence wasn’t any wait time get a table. Very one from the staff, from the seating host to our multiple servers were down to earth. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Slowly enjoyed our wines and took our time to order. The BALT sandwich was the fav, crusty bread with thick juicy bacon slices along with creamy avocado and Mayo, all ingredients working well together to make a hearty sandwich. Will be back soon.

I admittedly do not have my black belt in restaurant etiquette, but being directly asked to leave after 2 hours at the table just felt kind of wrong to me. I was here with 3 coworkers on a Sunday for brunch, and we were in the midst of an all-time gossip/vent session when our waitress came up and said she needed the table. We were just sitting there chopping it up for like 30 minutes after the corpses of our shared Chocolate Chip Pancakes and my Mediterranean Bowl got cleared from the table and I could see the waitress trying to get us out of there with her eyes ahahaha. 2 hours is a lot so I do get it, but at the same time I don't get it. Part of what I'm paying for is the time to enjoy sitting there, letting my food settle and talking to whoever I'm eating with, not looking up at the clock to see how much longer I have until I need to leave. I don’t know, I’m always open to constructive criticism. I'm not letting it reflect in the rating because I normally don't sit at a place for 2 hours. Outside of asked-to-leave-the-table gate, this place is delightful. A warm and cozy vibe that one could expect in Southwest Michigan, or "Swishigan" as the locals call it. A classic American brunch spot with huge portions and solid pancakes which is honestly harder to come by in NYC than you'd think. Really makes you wonder........ My big homie showed up late and teetering that ever-so-fine line of being hungover/still drunk, so the Bloody Mary cured him. He was drinking that thing like it was water ahahaha. He also had a fit on that you would never catch him in at work… Corduroy pants?!?! Okay we see you big homie… Also, I just need to mention I'm blessed to have 3 coworkers who I like enough to see outside of working hours. GOD DID! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

We loved this place. We were there late on a Friday morning and it wasn’t very busy. They sat us immediately. The atmosphere was chill. The food was really good with some unique twists. The portions were big. I LOVED the French toast that came with my breakfast. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. This place looks like it would be fun at night too.

Great restaurant, awesome food, excellent service. I enjoyed my burger that I ordered, the fries were pretty good too - wish there were more fries but thats just me. Parking around the area is pretty okay - paid and free. The bathroom needs to be cleaner, to be honest. That was kind of gross, actually.

Really cute place with great service and food. Got the Grey Dog Club Sandwich and a guava mimosa for the table and both were delicious.

had the most perfect time taking my mom here today for brunch! the hostess, server and all the workers were extremely attentive and kind. the food was delicious, perfect portion sizes. its actually the best brunch place i’ve been to in NYC in terms of food, service and ambiance. coffee was good too. all the tables around us were really nice and friendly which could be luck but i blame it on the good vibes of the whole restaurant we did need reservations

Would absolutely recommend stopping by

I left this place where I took my friends with great expectations, with great disappointment. I ordered the Breakfast Bowl, and it was served with almost as a boiled egg even though I stated I wanted my egg to be particularly soft. They brought new eggs right away and it turns out they could, they just preferred not to take care when ordering. But the main problem was that veggies were boiled, I ate breakfast bowl in many places, this was the farthest from breakfast in terms of taste. I liked the vibe, I wish they could have served better food.

Ordered through grubhub who never delivered order and told me to figure it out with the staff here. The staff were incredibly kind and remade & sent me my food with no problem because I was already stressed. Food is delicious but the five stars are definitely for the staff!

Broad menu but the chicken sandwich was not as juicy or crispy as it should have been. The spicy Caesar was excellent. Nice outdoor spots in the sunshine. Average brunch place.

tables are 6 feet from one another. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Our Temperature were taken at the door so is our information. Please Wear your mask prior to leaving your table and while ordering your food 😷. the server is very hospitable. I love that she offered me a sample of the hard cider. I love ciders and being able to taste it before ordering it was a plus for me. Happy hour is from 4pm-7pm. We order nachos from the happy hour menu, we also ordered the chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and the house burger with fries. Both dishes were delicious. I will definitely come back to this place to try other stuff from their menu.

Stopped in after walking around the village for a while. Place was pretty much empty since they were about an hour to closing. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food was good (I had the grilled chicken Reuben). Only real complaint was that the fries were too salty, but still edible. Would probably go back again.

Great environment and a very friendly staff. Perfect food choices for every diets desire. You can indulge. You can be healthy. You can be happy and excited about things on the menu both as a meat eater or vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. The burger was delicious and my wife loved her crispy tofu Ceasar salad. Would definitely go back.

Lunch was really good! The burger was perfect and my friend loved her Avocado Toast. Service was outstanding. We were there during a quiet lunch hour. My understanding is that the place gets crowded and can be a lot of fun for happy hour. Atmosphere: 4 Service:4.5 Food: 4 Value: 3.5

Stopped by on a Friday evening and tried their happy hour specials, sat outside by the street enclosure. They had partitions setup so that was really cool. Nothing against the waitress, but 2 things, first, our drinks were forgotten about, and we had to enquire about them and they never arrived, and once we re-ordered, they charged us regular price. They sorted it out pretty quickly, and the waitress was quite nice about it. The wings special, I believe .50C each, was underwhelming, lukewarm. Again, the waitress was pretty nice and we were not blaming her, but all in all, pretty flat experience.

A food. Service is good. Locale is nice. A bit of an issue when we want to order. One of our party ordered a vegan burrito. They got the burrito thought it was an amazing taste for vegan egg. Turned out it wasn't a vegan egg. They probably did take it back and offered an alternative. But probably should not have given it in the first place without clarifying it.

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and smiling. Food was great I had breakfast omelette with French toast and it was really good. They don't have any fresh squeezed juices but the nonfresh orange juice I had, was sufficient. All in all easy to recommend to eat at

Sunday evening around 8, mostly empty. The server and the hostess were both pleasant and welcoming. Food came out really quickly and was good. Special shoutout to the vegan coriander green dressing/ sauce, MUST TRY! Drinks- absolutely overpriced for what they serve. Moscow mule was lacking the very important Ginger flavor and was served in a glass rather than copper mug. The bartender, young fellow, was rather rude when asked if he could customize a drink. Will return and reccomend for food, but not for the drinks.

Nice spot in NYC for some delicious comfort breakfast. Safe place to eat since they were checking all vaccination cards before dining in. Would definitely return again for a meal. We had the French toast and breakfast croissant. Thanks again for the awesome meal!

I have no complaints about the service; all staff were attentive and very friendly. Food portions were good but the food was okay. The beet fries were nice and crispy but salty at the bottom. The grey dog breakfast came with "home fries" but it was really just a few French fries cut into little pieces. The pancakes were okay. I would visit again and try something different on the menu.
