If I could give 6 stars I would. This place is a true hidden gem that we stumbled across. The bike inspired decor is stunning and the cocktails were tops

Wow, so good! Just went here for dinner and it was really delicious. We shared the kale salad, truffle mushroom pizza and the Mac and cheese and all were so flavorful. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had in years! We topped it all off with the date cake with ice cream and toffee sauce, perfection. The atmosphere is so cute too, new favorite neighborhood spot!

This is a cozy, beautiful place with great service. The decor is that of an old school rustic vibe. Candle lights also add to the beautiful ambiance. The menu has great options for great prices. An added bonus: everything on the menu is vegan! We ordered the BLT sandwich and the black bean burger. Yum! For dessert we went with the scoop ice cream. This was also yummy. It's a coconut milk based ice cream; vegan friendly. The menu only lists alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, but they do offer basic non alcoholic drinks. I was there on a Saturday night, and there was a live duo band; the music was good. My husband and I truly enjoyed our time there and will be returning.👍🏽

Love this cozy and warm place. Tapas are excellent, extensive wine list to choose from. Live music adds nice touch to this beautiful ambiance. I hope they re-open soon!

Everything tasted amazing. Service was friendly, efficient. Vegans and non-vegans would go back for more. Great GF choices.

Former Cafe Moto, this place is a hidden New York jewel. It will transfer you back in time to the 20s or so. The ambience is beyond amazing and the food and cocktails are great. The only drawback for me at least is that it is now only vegetarian. They used to serve meat.

My husband and I are from out of town and we were visiting a friend who suggested this place. It's got a neat old timey steam-punk kind of vibe, and is quite cozy (I wouldn't want to go with a very large group). I love that all of the menu options are vegan and that you'd never know! This wasn't just food that was good by vegan standards, it was delicious food that happens to be vegan and doesn't have to brag about it. I got the Sheppard's Pie, my husband got the tempeh BLT, and we both devoured our meals! I would definitely go back there to eat again the next time we visit NYC!

Beautiful date night ambiance... candle lights and music (Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, etc.). Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Its dope when you can choose anything on the menu because everything is vegan. I would definitely return.

I’ve heard lot of positive things about the bar and wanted to try myself but unfortunately the place was closed permanently during Covid pandemic. I wish the owners would find a new place and open new Bar Velo in the city soon.
