Finalmente! Finally! Finally a real Italian restaurant! The food was indescribable! It feels like I’m in Italy. The Italian waiter, the Italian spoken on the background, the real Italian food! The pizza was amazing. The waiter super nice. The whole atmosphere just brought me back home! I’m so happy! Super ultra recommended! I will definitely come back to try more! Thanks to the owners who brought this to NYC!

I was excited to try this place as it was recommended. I was extremely disappointed with pasta as it was a bit tough, and the marinara was honestly flavorless. The beef that was in my dish had 3 instances of bones or tendons in it. Not properly cleaned. Again, the beef and pork had no interesting flavor. I was also annoyed by ordering a Diet Coke and getting a bottle.... an 8 oz bottle at that. Beware to rack up the bill in soda if you drink a normal 20oz drink with your meal I should say they aren't hurting for business, so I may be in the minority, but I know a boring pasta, flavor wise, when I taste it. The presentation was great, though. The bread was good actually tasted like it was already buttered. Service was not the best as you can't hear your waiter or waitress in the environment.

The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. The dough is perfect. 5 stars because I’d still come back for their pizza despite the service being slow / not attentive (Just be prepared for that). The waitress was nice and let us try the wine before ordering a bottle of it.

Tried the signature ribalta pizza in whole and then shared since there were no slices available but only feeling the love from sharing made it worth it, otherwise it's way overpriced for so few toppings. Really nice that the green broccoli was kept pretty fresh and not overcooked though

My second time here and it was as delicious as the first time I visited! We came in around 11:30 on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. I love the inside of the place & I think it's really cool that you can see them firing the pizzas. Our server was super sweet and helpful. We had a few questions about the starters and she answered all of them & suggested the best dish for what we were looking for. We started with the Bruschetta con Burrata & it was delicious! Perfect for two people. I had the Pepito Pizza. I will say that the pizza here is SUPER watery & slightly difficult to eat as it literally falls apart, but it's just so delicious that it doesn't bother me. I'm absolutely obsessed with the crust on these pizzas. The ingredients for every dish taste super fresh and even though it's a lot of carbs, you never feel heavy after eating it. I love this place & definitely recommend it!

Ribalta is known well as THE place to watch Napoli games (Prmier League Soccer team) in NYC - it was packed when we came for dinner and the game was on a large projector. They’re known for their Neopolitan pizza, which was a pretty solid slice. Thought it was so absurd that they had an “Americana” pizza with hot dogs and fries in it, that we just had to try it - was actually not bad, probably wouldnt get it again though. The Black Truffle Gnocci was incredible, calamari + burrata was solid, and dessert was stellar. Loved the tiramisu, and the Cannolis they have are unlike any I’ve had - they’re toppped with a sweet orange candy, which I didn’t think would work, but complimented the dessert very well.

Started off with the white beans and shrimp, and the meatballs. Can’t recommend them enough. Especially as a pair. Then got the Borbone pizza (ricotta cheese and spicy sausage) and the prosciutto, olive and mushroom. Again, top class. Service was shoddier than expected for a pizza place charging as much as it does but overall was a solid NY eatery. You’ll come out super, super full.

It’s an OK place. The food is good and abundant, super tasty — but service tends to be a little slow and there’s not been one time they got my order right. Last time they forgot an entire pizza (we even reminded the different servers 3 times) and the previous one they brought an entirely different order after waiting for 1 hour. On the bright side, after bringing the pizza to the table, they made up for it by reducing the check, which is a nice gesture.

Delicious italian restaurant in union square. The host and the waiters are very kind and attentive. The gnocchi melt in your mouth and are incredibly flavorful! Pizza dough is really soft and has a great bite to it. Highly recommend!

Very good food. Likely some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. I believe they were (are?) Michelin rated or recommended. Place was crowded during dinner time. We were a group of seven, even though our reservation was only for 6. Thankfully they were okay with us sitting on the reserved table. Ordering was a little slow. We got like 3 pizzas, 3 pastas, couple of salads, an entree (the octopus - was very good!), and about a drink a person. Drinks did take a while to come out - I think the bar was backed up. But food came out fast after the order was put in. The pizzas were all amazing - we got the truffle one (Nobile), the Ribalta (mozzarella, sausage), and the Borbone (roasted eggplant, salame). All were excellent. The crust is almost chewy - pretty thin except around the edges. Toppings were all on point. The Ribalta was probably my favorite. Of the pastas, we got the basil pesto gnocchi, the clam spaghetti, and another one I can't remember. They were very good too, but I think the pizzas were yummier overall. Good strong drinks too. I liked the presentation of the old fashioned.

Came to Ribalta after finding it on google when I was looking for the “best gluten free pizza in NYC”. The reviews were right. I’m writing this review weeks after I’ve been home from my trip and I’m still dreaming about it. Had the pizza with truffles on it. So so so good. Wonderful staff- they got us a table on a very very busy night. They have their name in handwriting (that matches their signs!) on an orange peel as a garnish on their cocktails. So cute. Loved the vibe of the restaurant.

A nice sports bar feels like an Italian restaurant downtown. The staff are nice and friendly, and the food quality was good, warm, and filling. A nice place to take the lads for a game and chill lax.

I came by for lunch after hearing about this place and was not disappointed. Quality pizza here and good service. My only issue is that since the brick oven is on all the time here, it tends to be a lot warmer inside than you expect even in cooler weather.

I would have given it 5 stars but the heater in the patio did not work and it impacted the whole experience. The food was great but the service and atmosphere got impacted by the heater not working. They did not even offer to sit us inside even though there were vacant seats.

In a city that’s chockablock with pizzas on every corner, it’s cool having a space to rely on for decent Italian (Napoli) pizza. Proper wood fired oven, great ingredients and all. WITHOUT the hype and tv appearances. Recommended!

This place , was amazing, after reading about how it had the best gluten free pizzas, curiosity sparked and it was a must try. Might I add indeed it has the best gluten free pizzas around. It didn't taste like cardboard or lacked flavor. I must say I'm still thinking about it ,how soft and airy it was. I had the Parma with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula (although I will say a little heavy-handed on that), with shaved parmigiana reggiano. Also got the light advertiser of octopus served on peppers and potatoes. The service was outstanding, not in your face but made you feel welcome and needs met. Definitely give this place a try.

Solid pizza spot and has a ton of variety on their menu. Really loved the wine selection and their crust and sauce are made to perfection. If I had to nit, their ricotta cheese was a bit powdery in texture and that didn’t sit well with my made to order pizza.

One of the finest Italian restaurants in the downtown core. We ordered the Fiona del Zucchini for starter, a Margherita pizza with onion & garlic, Gnocchi al pesto as main course and a Tiramisu for dessert The Zucchini starter was strictly okay with the stuffed zucchini too deep fried for our liking. The Neopolitan pizza was authentic with every bite full of flavour. The gnocchi was delectable with an awesome mix of pesto and cheese. It was deceptively super heavy. The literal icing on our meal was the Tiramisu. True to its Italian roots with a fine sprinkling of coffee and made with mascarpone cheese. It was an amazing experience dining at the restaurant and will surely return on my next trip to sample more of their extensive menu. Arrivederci!

My boyfriend and I were looking for something nice but chill to eat after a shopping day and this place was incredible, the bartender saw us in the front door and he was very nice! The place is beautiful and I loved the vibe! With a big menu with variety of food and desserts, I’ll be back to try new things!

The gluten-free pizza was the best I’ve found in this country. It tasted almost as good as the GF pizza I had in Naples, Italy. I just wish it hadn’t cost so much more than a regular pizza.
