My husband planned my birthday party here! They were able to accommodate 15 of us at the last minute (we had our wedding that week so didn’t even try to plan the birthday party until a few days before). Everything was perfect!!! The owner, Maria, was so gracious and sweet to us. She made sure everyone was having a good time and we definitely were! Food was delicious and of the highest quality. Nothing cooked in butter, only olive oil and the fish comes from Greece! I’m still dreaming about that salmon tartar. We had too many sides and ended up taking home a bunch of boxes of fava beans I believe and ate them over the next few days and were so happy to keep eating them even days later! We will definitely be back here many, many more times!

The best restaurant!!!! I wish could give more stars!!! The place is amazing, the food drooling my mouth, is so delicious. The service is so fast , and so nice people make you feel so special and very much welcome. Do you know there place many celebrity come with family have dinner? The restaurant's staff was exceptionally attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance added to the overall experience, and the diverse menu offered delicious, well-presented dishes. A delightful dining experience from start to finish. Warm, European style hospitality, with a visit to each table from Chef Maria Loi. Delicious food, topped of with real, delectable Greek yogurt. And then, two arias sung by a patron. We didn't want to leave!

Best greek food and overall dining experience I’ve had in New York City in a long time! Chef Maria Loi took every detail into careful consideration and personally ensured that every single bite was of the highest quality. The roasted eggplant was unlike any other eggplant I have ever eaten. The fish special surpassed all expectations. Everything is organic and all key ingredients (including every fish on the menu and their signature Loi olive oil) are flown in fresh from Greece each day. A phenominal experience from start to finish. Worth every penny!!

This place was AMAZING. We ran into it by coincidence. The owner Maria was so friendly. She made sure we had a table even though the restaurant was fully booked. We had the eggplant casserolle and the stuffed eggplant, and it was delicious. The restaurant was cosy/nice atmosphere! I highly recommend this place.

We had the spanikopitas/spinach pies to start. I had the green soup which was yummy. Hubby had the Greek lasagna. Our friend and I both had the moussaka/eggplant casserole. Dessert was a homemade vanilla yogurt with nuts and honey.

Everything seemed so deceptively simple, but when you pair simplicity with high quality, amazing speed, and truly wonderful servers (shoutout to you Nicole!) It becomes easy to have a great time (and we weren't *rushed* by the restaurant, we accidentally had a faster schedule and the whole team accommodated us SO WELL)! Simple *can* be "easy" but in this case, it was beautifully delicious!

Overall, a good spot for Greek food. The olive oil has just the spice you want, and the homemade cornbread (unusual) is a delight. The salad and octopus was also delicious. The branzino and mussels, though, were a bit underwhelming, and the lemon potatoes were crispy but not lemony at all. The chocolate dessert was solid. Good and friendly service!

what a wonderful surprise. to start, their chickpea stew was excellent. the perfect stew for a cold night, seasoning was dead on!!! we shared a grilled branzino for two which was perfectly prepared, flown in daily from Greece, light and buttery and the skin was crispy. sat at the bar, service was incredible. delightful conversation with staff. definitely coming back.

We went to this restaurant based on the recommendation of a family friend (Vasos) he was so right that Loi would become my new favorite New York City restaurant. I would suggest making a reservation because it’s definitely popular and now I know why. If you care about Service eating here will make you feel like you are with your extended family. The staff could not do enough for us. The food was absolutely delicious starting with spreads - Pakilia. The meal was delicious with very generous portions. I had the shrimp and pasta and wish I could get this type of food in the south where I live now. Maybe Maria the owner will read this and open another restaurant closer to me! It seems like it would be the perfect date night or family night out restaurant, cannot wait to return. Thanks for making it a special evening!

My husband and I discovered Loi by accident during a previous trip this year. When we returned to NYC with our children over Christmas break, we made sure to visit Loi again. To our great surprise, chef Loi was present during our dinner time visit. Not only is she a talented culinary expert, but a compassionate, inspiring, authentic individual as well. Meeting her was the highlight of our trip! A special thanks to Alex for keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Loi will always be a must-stop on our NYC itenerary.

One of the best Greek restaurants I have been to and I have eaten at many restaurants all over Greece. This is an authentic Greek restaurant with amazing service. All the dishes were perfectly done. Chef is an authority in Greek cuisine and culture and the restaurant definitely reflects this! All the food is organic, nothing is fried, and the fish is shipped daily from Greece. Thank you Chef and all the staff for this wonderful experience!

Exquisite! The food and service were superb, friendly atmosphere, and true, authentic , Greek filoxenia (hospitality). Maria Loi visited every table, chatted with the patrons, and filled the room with her energy and big smile. The menu has a lot of gluten-free options, including the luscious flour-less chocolate cake.

Lovely Mediterranean food, cozy inside or outside seating. All of the classic flavors and dishes just like I hate on Greece, the octopus over Fava beans was my favorite

Delicious Greek food. The halloumi was tender and perfectly cooked. I had lamb shanks, which fell off the bone and was butter soft. Excellent wine and wonderful desserts. I’m gluten-free and they were very helpful in making sure that I stayed away from gluten.

Can't show the food because it was so good we couldn't stop eating. This is real Greek food as opposed to Greek Street food. I have not been able to get bone marrow soup in decades. Where I live even getting cremini mushrooms is difficult. Maria suggested the branding saying it was fresh. What an understatement! You must visit Loi Estiatorio. It is near Central Park and Carnegie Hall.

The food and service were both excellent. I would highly recommend Loi Estiatorio for classic, authentic Greek cuisine. The outside seating is great and each table is private which is great for a group. I shared a variety of appetizers with my table including the excellent grilled calamari and the mouth-watering stuffed grape leaves. For the main, i had the whole branzino which was fresh and grilled perfectly; simple and delicious. Also the desserts are not to be missed - we had a selection of all of them and we cleaned the plates. The chef came by our table to thank us at the end of the meal and she was very welcoming to our whole group - what a great experience!

There’s something so special about this restaurant it feels like you’re eating your grandmother’s homemade cooking. I moved to NYC and don’t see my family as often as I used to and when I’m in the mood to truly enjoy something out of this world that brings me back to a special place in my heart I head straight to Loi. The restaurant itself is beautiful and always so welcoming. The staff is unbelievable and so attentive to every detail, you will always have a smile there. Chef Maria truly made magic here, she loves what she does with a passion and you see it in everything she does, she is so unique and brings the entire experience together. I don't know where to start, because everything was so exciting from the moment I entered the restaurant until I left. Let’s start with the atmosphere that is hard to find especially nowadays where everyone is full of problems, depression etc. Mrs. Loi Maria, who is actually the owner of this restaurant and is very famous for her natural products, including olive oil, various pastas, yogurts, etc. which you can find in Whole Foods markets, and certainly in other organic stores, are of exceptional quality personally tested! Ms. Loi is not only known for all of the above, but for her generous humanity, helping and compassion for people. And through so many commitments, Ms. Loi manages to smile make people laugh and cheer up all her customers with her kindness and positive energy! God bless! First of all the food was delicious! We have tried octopus, calamari, branzino and deserts .. and it taste like it was made with love:) Branzino and octopus were spectaculars! We ordered it twice lol The restaurant very clean and classy , all waiters was very friendly and knew about the menu. The food came out in a few minutes. We had a chance to meet the owner of the restaurant. He was very attentive to each client and treat everyone with welcoming and respect. We definitely will be back!

Loi's quickly become my top choice for Greek food in Manhattan, no doubt about it. Last time we went, the ambiance was just spot on, felt like a cozy little corner in Greece. We tried the Moussaka, which, hands down, was out of this world. The olive oil they use, think it's from Crete or something, really makes a difference. Gotta say, the whole experience was top-notch, and I'm already planning my next visit.

Great service, very polite staff and incredible tasty and most importantly healthy food. As a Greek I can reassure you that it is made with fresh ingredients just like your mother/grandmother makes you back home.
