This is the second location of this restaurant that I visited. Everything is very tasty, the onion soup melts in the mouth, the French fries are fresh and crispy, the bass fish is tender, and the steaks were perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend this restaurant for delicious French cuisine when you are in NYC.

If your going during the Christmas season it's incredibly decorated. It's a great place for a get together with friends or a client. The food is delicious and no matter you select everything if a good choice. Just note that the dishes and drinks are a little expensive in relation to other restaurants.

I’m enamored by this place. The service and ambiance is on point. I come here to sit at the bar, have a cocktail and a snack. The last time I came, I thoroughly enjoyed the La Vie En Rose cocktail (so good it’s dangerous for your “vie”) and the Boucherie Crème Brûlée - a classic French dessert with a twist of black sesame - so good!! Special mention to the bread service too! I also ordered the escargot (a standard for any French bistro), however I found it only fine… not enough garlic or herbs for my liking I suppose. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing! From the ambiance, to the food, to the service, it was such a pleasure to dine here. Our server Adrianne was so well versed on the menu and had incredible recommendations. We will for sure be back and asking for her if possible!

The atmosphere is quite good. I remember this place used to be huge eating parlor for breakfast, lunch, taking out. They did such a good job with decor, if you don’t know this place before you might be decived the place is from 40s. ⚜️🥃 The waiting time was quite long between dishes. It was restaurant weeks few last day, perhaps why. But still a good kitchen never fails to be on time. Rose bud cocktail was delicious but not cold enough. A cocktail never should come almost room temperature. I don’t know if my cocktail sit at the counter to be delivered and lost some of its coldness. 🥀 🧊 The entree was delicious and it was faster than other courses. The main course was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t exciting either. The meat was chewy so it felt like it might be a cheaper cut. The pear tart was delicious but the chocolate puff was soggy, you expect a crispy outer layer puff. I recommend Boucherie for the vibes and for a good meal but don’t expect too much.

Came here for brunch and sat outside. The burger and escargot are really good, and so are the drinks. Service was good. One negative is that the tables outside are super close together, wish they could space them out a bit more.

I like the ambience of this place a lot. But their vegan burger was not good. I don't know if it's their preparation or the fake meat but it didn't work for me. Recommend their coffee. They were nice to give a spot so I could charge my laptop while I ate.

I'd give 10 stars if possible. Haven't had such good french cuisine for a long time! From starters to desserts, everything tasted wonderful! Definitely try the creme brulee! Authentic tastes from France with the best service! Ibrahim is an amazing host! And super kids friendly too!

Boucherie in Union Square is such a wonderful restaurant! The service was very attentive throughout our meal, and the food of course was on point! I highly recommend you get some pastries!! We got the almond croissant and the raisin one: both were so good! I’ve been to France and these pastries are of that caliber! The burger was delicious and so was the salmon’

The restaurant was very Crowded and the service was great 👍☺️ The brunch I got was an omelette with potatoes and mushrooms. It was Good, but not an outstanding meal. Generally Good but considering the price It should be better.

Service was great. Ordered a tomahawk steak and we left still hungry. Had to walk across the street to Bocca and grab a pasta. Never spent $300 for a table of 2 to still feel hungry. Cocktail was on point. The cocktail and server saved you from a 1 star. If you look closely you’ll see that 50% of the steak was fat.

A perfect post-pandemic lunch! I asked my foodie friend to pick one of his favorite eateries for us to visit. He - and, therefore, Boucherie - didn’t disappoint! We sat indoors in this large airy, light dining room and enjoyed a terrific meal and conversation. The service and the food were excellent and enjoyed the experience. Will be back!

My family and I had a brunch on Sunday at Boucherie. It was a bit crowded to have a relaxing brunch, and I had to raise my hands several times and yell literally to get a waiter’s attention. The food was excellent, and it was quite soothing to seep on a bowl of onion soup while the cold draft was coming thru the window doors facing the street. Perhaps a better insulation or heating would have been nice.

The place has an amazing ambience. The drinks were top notch. The food was very good but not amazing, just good. No complaints but for some reason I was expecting a bit more. The truffle mushroom ravioli came slightly on a cooler side. The octopus was the best out of all of the food. The service from front desk to the waiters was superb.

What a fantastic experience each time I come to this restaurant. It’s my 4th time and I could definitely say with all confidence this is a great dinning experience taking you on a whimsical trip to France. Adam was our bartender serving out amazing cocktails. My favorite is La Vie en Rose which was out of this world good! The manager Enrique is such a great manager giving us a delightful lunch/dinner experience. I recommend the steak and both soups. You can’t leave without trying their desserts which chief among being the crème brûlée. Merci to them!

My wife was celebrating her birthday, and she was very happy that I chose Boucherie in Union Square. Our server, Ms. Adrianne was fantastic, and everything was on point. We had an enjoyable night filled with great food and wonderful service.

Enrique our server was really great! We had to go to a show at 9pm and he was able to recommend what we should get as well as help wis with the timing. Service was great! We came in for a 7pm reservation and were seated right away! The food was really great. The scallops were my favorite for the appetizers. Overall the food here was great! I would recommend anyone who wants to eat French food with great service here!

The food was good, service at the bar superb. The hostess at the front not welcoming smile with a few eye rolls was so charming. I might strong on the “might” be back again due to the service at the bar alone. The brunch menu had more American food than french food thought that was odd. I’m in Paris/Versailles often and I wanted something to remind me of there. The Brunch menu needs more authentic french options. I had the Champaign and Wagyu burger. Worth a try but not my first option for French food.

Visited this past week First time, The atmosphere was cozy. The space itself is beautiful but the French motif doesn't seem to match it. The tables are small resembling those of a French bistro but the space is large so they look weird. Also, some of the plates are rather big and don't fit well on the small tables. The wait staff was very attentive. the appetizers were just ok. The steak and salmon were very good

Have been to other locations and had great meals. This one was just as good if not better. Granted it was not very busy when we went so the service was perfect and all of the food came out cooked as requested. Quite frankly my family loved their meal and experience. It's a favorite for us.

Honestly, one of the best steaks I have had in New York City. The restaurant is really beautiful. Service was very good, our server Efe was attentive, patient, and helpful. I look forward to coming again and telling my friends about Boucherie. The fries are so crunchy and to die for 😋

Great Dinner with a friend. RSVP before arriving and was seated at the wrong section, but it was quickly remedied by the hostess without an issue. The food was spectacular, minus the orange sauce(Not to my liking-My opinion). Our waiter was extremely nice and lively. The butter sauce from the mussels were so good in the fries too! Lol steak was medium well to perfection and the wine was suggested blended well with everything. The manager was nice enough as he was handsome 😉 to give us a recipe book that includes a bio on the restaurant as we left out. I soo want to try there breakfast menu next!!😋

I recently visited this restaurant with a friend and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the bread with spread butter was delicious, and the lager was really great. The atmosphere and servers were also very nice. However, I was disappointed with the orange duck I ordered. The meat was tough and chewy, and I couldn't even finish one piece of duck. The restaurant was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen, but I was already too discouraged to order another main course. Instead, we opted for the crème brûlée for dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, while the service and ambiance were pleasant, my experience with the main course was not great. My friend tried to introduce me to French cuisine, but unfortunately, this particular restaurant did not leave a lasting impression.

Boucherie has been starred on my map for quite awhile. While searching for a decent place to celebrate my coworker’s working anniversary, I found Boucherie would be a great place based on its menus and settings. We’ve tried several dishes such as escargots, grilled salmon, mushroom ravioli, Paris Brest, Crème Brûlée, Berrymania mocktail, etc. The escargots were cooked with a parsley and garlic butter - you wouldn’t taste the earthy flavor. To be honest, dipping bread with the herbal sauce was amazing! Classic grilled salmon was pan seared to crispy with confit tomatoes, olives, and capers - really like this main dish. As for dessert, Paris Brest was with more combinations of ingredients balancing the sweetness and sourness. Crème Brûlée was with crispy caramel top yet a bit too creamy/soft for the pudding itself. The classic French bistro flavors were totally spot on. If you dine in during lunchtime, it’s spacious and not too loud. The service was great too!

Found out because union square cafe was closed. Had lunch with a family member. Really like the food. Nice to find another good restaurant. The appetizer was really good. My steak was delicious and the wagyu hamburger was really good too. We had non alcoholic beverages and the were amazing. Great service.

I was very disappointed with my chicken. Very dry. The veggie burger was also a disappointment. Saying that, the muscles were very good. The fries were way to salty. Why don't you give the customer the choice of adding salt? Service was excellent. Waiter was very polite and accommodating.

I was so glad we ordered the foie gras. It was absolutely creamy and delicious! The buttered toast it came with was perfect. Only thing I didn’t like about the at dish were the pickledonions. It was bit too sweet. Oysters were fresh. French onion soup was very flavorful and cheesy. Steak frites was great. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. I smothered it with that herb butter. It was delicious. The frites though, we’re standard string fries. I expected thicker cuts. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the salmon dish. It was seasoned well, but the cooking method wasn’t great. They said it had to be served medium, even though I asked for it to be medium rare, but it actually came to me a little undercooked. It didn’t fork easily. The endive underneath it also wasn’t very enjoyable either. It was too “melty” and bland. My fault for going to a French steak house and ordering salmon. Aside from the salmon dish, I’d definitely return for everything else. It would have to be once in a blue though. Quite expensive here!

Great food! This place has a very nice rustic and French vibe. The servers were super friendly and attentive. First time trying les escargots (French snails) and it was very nice - surprisingly! Also, the best dish around was the steak tartare - mind blowing! Tender, fresh and perfectly seasoned! The bread was amazing too and they give you an infinite amount of it. The duck confit was very nice too - French flavours are very peculiar as they like to sauce things up with a little concentrate - often with wine, and a bit sour and sweet. Very pleasant. However, the foie gras was a big flop - it was very earthy and not smooth and fat as it should. I wouldn’t recommend ordering it as I can see how it may ruin the night for some people. Go for a more traditional lamb chop or steak. The burgers look good too, so I might order it next time! Lastly, the drinks were nice but a little expensive - almost $20 each. They do have a great selection of cocktails and wine, and you’d expect to pay such prices for this type of place. However, in my opinion, it is a bit expensive - they could perhaps rethink of the ambience and sound system to make it more luxurious. Nevertheless, super recommended for a good dinner with close friends, family or a date. The waiters were super nice, especially ours, cute and friendly too!

Boucherie is one of my favorite spots in the city. My husband and I are definitely regulars to all location. With true French cuisine, attentive & kind staff and immaculate Art Nouveau decor, they transport you into feeling like you are in the heart of France. Go for the food, stay for the ambiance. A special shout out to our server tonight, Efe - he kept our drinks and bellies full while delivering all star service with a smile.

Nice spot for brunch and if you're in the mood for French cuisine! My party of 6 waited about 10 minutes on a Thursday morning without a reservation, which is not bad considering how many other parties I saw waiting as well. All their items were delicious and filling, even if it may not look to big upon serving. I also got a hot cafe meal which is basically a latte with honey and cinnamon - would recommend this if you're looking for a twist on a traditional latte.

Best French Toast I've ever had. Great quality coffee & tea, the steak and eggs were perfection. And then for dessert the baked pear with some edible gold leaf and vanilla bean Gelato 😋 It was pure heaven 👌🤌💙🤍 And the French Onion Soup was quite tasty!! Also the escargot was delectable when I squeezed lemon juice on it, but I'm a fan of bitter/citric flavors 🙈

Lovely location for a intimate dinner! We were a little late for our reservation, but they accommodated us regardless as there was some room, which was nice. However the hostess was less than friendly (not a fantastic way to start). But our waiter & the food certainly made up for that! The escargot was 10/10! Would recommend (and ask for some extra bread to dip 👍) we both went for the steak & frites and it lived up to the hype! 🥩 If you’re looking for a cocktail, the La vie en Rose is sweet & tasty! I also walked away with a little card for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this location to others visiting the city!

This was the best meal we had in New York, facilitated by the excellent Ashif, whose recommendations and friendly service were fantastic. It's a really beautiful restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, and the food is beyond reproach. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Went here to celebrate my friend’s 26th birthday with a group of friends. Food was great! I had mussels which were amazing and had some oysters as well. From checking in through leaving the restaurant the experience was above five stars. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I highly recommend the muscles and the freeze salad, and let’s not even get started about how delicious the Manhattan cocktail was. Bon appetite ❤️
