This place is an absolute must for Italian food! The dishes are so authentic - the lasagna was like the one back home in Bologna, and the arancine were succulent. Incredibile! The waiter was super nice, and the ambience great. They have a lunch special which turns many dishes to a very convenient $11.95 per dish price. An absolute steal! You can’t get it anywhere! Super recommended for lunch, a date, couple or small groups.

The food here truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend trying the shrimp crudo; it's a culinary masterpiece. The pasta is exceptionally good too. The flavors were very well-balanced, creating a delightful and unforgettable dining experience.

This lovely restaurant tucked away in lower manhattan does require a reservation. Make sure to make your reservations online. Upon our arrival we waited 5-10 minutes to be seated. We were assigned an overzealous waiter who was inattentive and a bit aggressive for our taste. He refused to make the appetizers order first since he wanted us to order our entrees as well. We felt a bit rushed. At one point it seemed that staff members were having some sort of disagreement yelling and shouting near our table. It was super weird and unprofessional. The food however is delicious and very tasty. Recommend this spot as long you don’t get assigned the weird waiter.

Solid experience at Piccolo Estiatorio! Amazing beef roll as app. Seafood pasta was delicious. The sponge cake was good BUT there wasn't much cake to it. Definitely worth a visit!

Cynthia was amazing! She suggested an excellent wine for us and it was great. The food was excellent, everyone loved what they had. Tagliatelle, Ravioli, A salmon special, and the fusili. Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. We were lucky and walked up and got seated in 5 minutes, but can tell this is a place you are better off having a reservation for.

The atmosphere is very nice and the servers are very helpful. The food is tasty, but by far my favorite dish was the one the waiter indicated to me, the Tagliatelle Verdi con Ragu topped with black truffle, looooots of flavor just the way I like it. Next time I’ll come during the week since they have lunch specials!!

Very crowded. But great food. Really nice service. And their lobster linguine is amazing!!! (It’s on their hidden menu fyi. Ask for it and they’ll let you know). Brought so many friends to this place and all have nothing but great things to say.

Delicious and fresh seafood at a bustling restaurant. This place is clearly a neighborhood hotspot and it’s no wonder. Great ambiance, friendly staff; great place to bring your friends and family to.

Very nice & busy Sicilian restaurant in Soho. The food is flavorful with plenty of selection including for those who don't eat meat. The restaurant gets very crowded and the tables are packed close together so prepare to be bumped frequently by the servers going back & forth. Make sure you make reservations. Recommended for reasonably priced (for NYC) authentic Italian cuisine.

Standout service, great food that tastes just like in ITALY. Very friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and attention to details. Was beyond happy with our lunch and can’t wait to come back for more!

If you’ve been to Italy this place will feel familiar. The customer service was excellent, the waiter taking his time to answer questions and share with us the specials and recommendations. The food was delicious, nice portions and excellent presentation. Loved the ambiance, intimate seating, in the evening the glow of the candles and light adds a special feel. I will be returning.

Amazing Italian food! They have a really nice staff and great ambiance, we came during the lunch hours and it was quite busy! I would recommend the fusilloni with scampi and checking out their seafood appetizer. The portions are just right and you get pretty full by the end of the meal. Definitely check out if you’re around the area and craving Italian! Do make sure you have some time on your hands (around 1.5 hours) as it does get quite busy around meal times and he wait for food can be a tad bit long.

I’m very big on Italian cuisine and I love authentic places with real Italian food - this is definite one of those! Fennel salad was so refreshing! We had octopus with burrata - great combination with crispy bread. Loved Spaghetti allá Norma with eggplant. And I don’t usually like cannolis, they are always so sweet and heavy, but this ones were the best I ever had! I even forgot to take a picture before I almost finished them!

This is our second time visiting Piccola Cucina but first time in this location. Food here is amazing!! To be honest I didn't like arancini, they didn't have any special flavor so I would skip them. The meatballs were so yummy. Since it was national pasta day we expected they are going to have some special offer but there wasn't anything. We chose verde tagliatelle with ragu and fusilli. Fusilli are cooked al dente, at first you need a moment to get used to it but they are so delicious. Lemon cheesecake is good but it could have a more stronger lemon flavor. It is so mild you hardly feel it. Overall we are very satisfied with this place and their food.

I’m still dreaming about the pasta. Piccola Cucina, Italy in New York. I felt like I was back in Italy eating authentic pasta. I went with friends and we all ordered a different dish and shared. EVERYTHING was decadent. Sharing is the best way to taste multiple dishes on the menu. The wine was superb. The restaurant is typical for NYC; small and cramped. It’s not the most romantic atmosphere but it screams NYC, and I wouldn’t have it any other way…Something remarkable happened when we were there — they had live music and people got up and danced. There wasn’t a lot of room to dance so people stood up at their tables to dance…a true authentic Italian experience. I can’t wait to go back!!

We loved the appetizers, atmosphere and service in this restaurant. The choice of wine by our server was fantastic. Also, the vibe was completely in sync with what you’d expect in NYC. We were celebrating our friend’s b’day and they gave us complimentary cannoli to celebrate the occasion which was fantastic. What we didnt like: the main course lagged flavor. Also, we were sitting next to the front door and were greeted with cold breeze whenever it was opened (and it often was to serve the guests outside) :/

We had a nice lunch in this restaurant. Make sure that they have two different location at Soho which this one is open for lunch, and the other one for dinner. This place is pretty small if looking for some space place. However, love the environment and their Green Tagliatelle.

Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Manhattan! The service was quick and the food was excellent. Some of the best Italian food you can taste outside of Italy (Sicily). PS: they also do lunch specials for $12 — a great way to sample their staples if you can do a quick walk-in or pick-up.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to in NYC (or even outside of Italy for that matter). The selection of menu items is small, but it doesn't matter because everything we had was amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We will definitely return when we are in NYC. Get a reservation!

The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food was great—we would recommend the cacio e pepe and ossobuco ravioli. Unfortunately we felt very rushed dining here. We got 2 appetizers and our entrees within 30 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Would recommend going elsewhere for a relaxing, romantic evening.

Beautiful service! Very lively and warm atmosphere, we were seated by the door and it was cold and the manager could see I was struggling haha, and moved us to a warmer spot - it was great! Service was amazing. Food was beautiful - so delicious! We had lobster, boar meatballs and wild boar spaghetti. Wonderful place!

I visited here for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful night! All foods were delicious and service was marvelous. We ordered lobster linguini, Fusilloni di gragnano scampi, Bucatini Cacio e pepe, and fritto misto. Lobster Linguini was my favorite. Those were definitely enough for 4 people. We couldn’t finish fritto misto so we brought them home. For dessert, we got crème brûlée and affogato which was tasty as well. And the most memorable moment was when they served dessert. They played birthday song for me along with small birthday candles with my crème brûlée. Everybody at there said happy birthday to me. It really was a wonderful birthday night. Thank you so much for making my birthday so memorable! I would definitely come back!!

Everything is amazing. The ravioli ossobucco is some of the best pasta I've had. And the artichoke starter is fantastic. Great service too

I was desperately hungry having been traveling all morning. I was in SOHO NYC and asked a jeweler to suggest an italian restaurant with delicious food and she was so right. This is a family tradition and the Chef is on the floor, in the “family”, checking every one. Perfection!

A must try Italy cuisine. Today’s special is ham stuffed Ravioli, with nuts and bacons on top, which is really fun to eat. And the best shot of the meal is the grilled octopus, with cheese aside, the texture is astonishingly tender, you should not miss it.
