Food was outstanding! I got the 20 for $22 and it was excellent. We had 4 people having dinner and everyone was extremely satisfied. Our waiter, Tye, was amazing!! And I cannot say that enough. Pricing was nowhere near where I thought it would be. It was actually pretty reasonable! We all would definitely go back again without hesitation. If you want good seafood and delicious drinks, give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed!!

The Bubba Gump Shrimp is a great quality American seafood chain restaurant that’s known for offering delicious southern style dishes ranging from fried shrimp or shrimp scampi as well as well-made burgers and baby back ribs. The Bubba Gump Shrimp was inspired by the 1994 film classic, “Forrest Gump”, starring Tom Hanks and the restaurant’s interior features an extensive collection of homages and memorabilia that honor the film. In August of 2022, I brought and treated myself and my wife for dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp and we very much enjoyed our dining experience!!! The staff warmly welcomed us upon our arrival, and escorted us to our table in short order. Our waiter, Leo treated us with great respect and kindness, did a great job on taking our orders and delivered our meals in a timely fashion. He was also kind of enough to take a great picture of both me and my wife while we dined at our table. Leo deserves a huge kudos for his wonderful service!!! Both my wife and I highly enjoyed our chicken tender appetizer and definitely loved our entree selections. I had a delicious caesar salad with grilled chicken while my wife had a superb shrimp based meal!!! What my wife and I also also enjoyed about our time at Bubba Gump was our access to great views of New York City, specifically Times Square, seeing the hustle and bustle of the city, and its numerous fashion retailers, such as Old Navy & H& M!!! The Bubba Gump Shrimp is definitely a top restaurant worth visiting and dining for all who come to travel and explore New York City!!!

I recently visited Bubba Gump Shrimp near Times Square in New York and overall had a positive experience. The location is fantastic, and the food was delicious, and reasonably priced for the area. However, our service wasn't the best; there was a mix-up with our order, and we were mistakenly charged for something we didn't order. Despite being assured it would be removed, it appeared on our check. Friendly tip: double-check your bill before paying to avoid any surprises.

It was so cool to go inside and look at all the memorabilia. They have signs you can use to let wait staff know when you need them. So much better than flagging someone down. The staff was super nice and helpful. The only down side to this experience was the food. I got fish and chips. My fish was so dry and had no taste, and my fries were soggy. My brother got shrimp scampi that also did not taste good. It had no flavor and just was greasy noodles with unflavored shrimp. The only thing that was good was the alcoholic drinks we had.

Everything was perfect! Bubba Gump is really a very very good restaurant chain. It is my favorite chain in the United States. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is superb and the dishes are perfect! It's quite expensive (about $30-35 minimum per person), but it's really worth it!

We were in the area and needed a sit down restaurant to have some food. Bubba was close by and it did not disappoint. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving and the view was fantastic. For a touristy spot, I had very little expectation but was impressed with the food. The steak tasked great, the shrimp was tasty, and the appetizer was flavorful. Highly recommend the restaurant! The service was friendly as well.

Bubba Gump restaurants are consistently clean, delicious and well-decorated. This location is no exception! We liked being able to view Times Square from a quiet booth, which is a welcome respite from the chaos outside. Our waiter, Emanuel, even did some fun movie trivia with us and offered to take our photo. Good vibes overall.

For many years I have been a member of Landry's select club and visit all the restaurants in the group. Definitely Bubba Gum continues to be one of my favorite. The environment, the concept, the staff are never disappointing. However, I surprised that they don't do context anymore and my daughter used to win, since she knows every question regarding the movie. I think this is an attractive feature, even when COVID 19 pandemic has changed a lot of things in the world. The staff is nice, the treat immeasurably great, the food is delicious, and the varieties of shrimps makes this restaurant unique and real, "over 200 recipes" as Bubba said in the movie. I enjoyed the great view of Time Square while having a seasonal drink, recommendation of the lady in service, also a sample dish with great choices: shrimps, chicken, chips, and a delicious cheesy dip and of course, I couldn't resist the coconut shrimps. Finally, the ribbeye was excellent, served with mashed potato and broccoli. It is a great choice for restaurant while being in New York. You don't want to miss this! NOT SURE why the website does not allow to write a new comment. Every experience should count. As I expected every visit to this amazing restaurant has been better than the previous one. At this time I tried a Rib-eye with choice of shrimps. It was really good. The staff is always very nice and provides the best treat. I loved the way I was received "I know you have been here before, I remember you". I think words like these makes you feel at home and appreciated. This restaurant continues to be my #1 choice in any city I visit.

Ordered Shrimper’s Heaven, Bang Bang Shrimp and Shrimper’s Net Catch. The serving size was pretty good and the taste impeccable. The sauces that came with the dishes were delicious and they were happy to refill it once we ran out of it. This is one of the best and most iconic restaurants for seafood lovers. The waiters were unbelievably nice to us and checked on us repeatedly without being too intrusive. Although, we didn’t make a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table, it is highly recommended that have some buffer as there is always a wait time.

Incredible place! The setting is based on the Forrest Gump movie and there are movie details everywhere. The place is simply incredible for those who enjoy that movie and also particularly the premises of Time Square is gigantic with several very large floors with a lot of space. It is always crowded with people and the delay can be up to 40 minutes. The food is incredible, a huge variety of seafood prepared in different ways, all exquisite, the bar is very large and you can eat there comfortably (even this shortens the waiting time a lot). A place that you have to go to know without a doubt.

We went fir the first time at the famous Bubba Gump and we order the calamari 🦑 but it was burn and barely calamari in the plate super poor presentation and impossible to eat , we also order some drinks 🍹 it wasn’t to bad the drinks , service really poor , we have to wait a lot just to order and to pay the bill. We were very dissatisfied so we pay and went to tacos number 1 to eat . The service and the food is very poor , the lady who served didn’t care about our table . Am not recommended this place . Sorry 😢

Don't choose this place! The service was terrible. There were only a few people in here on a Tuesday night and it took us a half hour to get drinks and anothwr half hour to get our food. A couple of us had cold food. The ice tea was basically tinted water. The kids meals were extremly small portions that didn't even feed the kids. No one really liked their food.

The food was OK but the problem is the waiter. He was acting weird maybe a little racist while I was checking out he printed the receipt and then he specifically walk over to me and tell me where I would put my tip and then he asked if I would put a TIP and cash or on a credit card which is really weird. LIKE EXCUSE ME!? i know my English and i know where to put tips on a receipt okay! You do not have to do that extra unnecessary step! I SAW YOU DIDNT DO THAT TO OTHERS WHY TO US? I KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT the whole time not speaking about until now i am feeling like a victim from domestic violence or something similar to that! So traumatized to think about why i even stayed and let that waiter treated me like this. is it because you think we don’t speak English!? Everything he did shows that he did not trust me and he thinks I was going to leave without giving him tips. i was going to give tips but with what he did, he did not deserve it, however, I ended up giving him 15% tip but I have to write this review because it was a very uncomfortable experience! TERRIBLE!

I went on a Sunday. The server we had was great. I found the food bland but other than it was ok. The shrimps and fries were the right amount of crunchy. My friends order the rib combo. I got the surf and turf with steak. I had to add A1 sauce. My friend got a pasta dish. They have trivia and memorabilia.

Last Saturday my group and I had a good experience celebrating my child's birthday. Our waiter was cordial but felt he could have been more engaging like he was with the out of towners. The food was ok but the french fries were really good. Also, I enjoyed when the wait staff sung happy birthday to my child.

A lively and tasty restaurant in the core of the Big Apple. Don't be misled by the name, the restaurant chain offers all sort of meats and salads other than their superb seafood dishes. The first floor restaurant inside the Paramount Building overlooking the Times Square is my favourite branch, yummy food, energetic staff and lively atmosphere inside and out so what more can one ask for!?

I was so excited to eat here - certainly my favorite movie and so it brought up some cool emotions about the film. We were seated quickly - even though it was such a busy time. Did not have to wait long before orders were taken. Exceeded expectations - being in the city and such a touristy area, I thought it might be a problem. Food was great and I'd gladly go again.

I love me some casual dining chain restaurants. This one was absolutely surprising. I felt like some Shrimp and in the middle of Time’s Square Bubba Gump showed up. The only issue was when I arrived I wasn’t sure where the Host was to seat me, but they quickly showed up and everything else went great. I ordered a beverage and a classic appetizer that came out perfectly. The shrimp was so succulent. The Salmon was good, but not great. It really didn’t have a great taste and the sauce could be a bit stronger. However, I still rate this is a 5 star if you want to have a good nourishing meal with a fun atmosphere.

If you love the movie Forrest Gump you’re going to love the way this place looks but their food could be better. The place looks fantastic, there are quotes from the movie everywhere, when you’re walking down the stairs to leave the poster is the first thing you see, and there’s even a gift shop but the food just isn’t as good as I expected it to be and the prices are not worth it at all. The whole restaurant is based off the movie and it’s really beautiful and clean. The staff is very nice and it’s a great place for all ages. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to have the experience but you can live with out it.

Had the shrimp po boy here and my friends ordered coconut shrimp and seafood platter. Fish in seafood platter had a thick breading on top and fish was a thin piece inside. Stick with the shrimp dishes and you will be happy. Cocktails have flavored syrups and not fresh fruit. Had mango frozen margarita but would have preferred fresh fruit ones.

In Times Square and had to try this place out. I wasn’t disappointed. There’s a gift shop area when you first enter. The dining hall is upstairs. Plenty of seating. Staff were fantastic. The atmosphere was lively with a great view overlooking Times Square. Started with Mama Blue’s Shrimp Gumbo. The roux base was packed with flavor. The gumbo came out hot and well seasoned with a nice spicy kick to it. I tried Jenny’s Catch with Salmon and Grilled Shrimp for my entree. The broccoli that was included wasn’t overcooked and had a nice bite to it. The salmon and shrimp were well seasoned and flavorful. They both had a butter based sauce on them that enhanced the flavor further. This is one tourist spot that definitely backs it up. Well worth a try if you’re in the area.

What an experience !! If you love Forrest Gump and are an American dreamer, you’ll be well served !! Food is very good, service efficient and kind. Price… affordable considering it is Times Square. No hesitation, this must be on your to-do list while in NYC.

Tourist trap for sure. Expected it as much but still went because of the movie. Gumbo and flavor were good BUT shrimp burned, Mahi fish dry/chewy as rubber and fish and chip batter was not crispy. So, all in all go for the heck of it and do not expect good food

Our server, Emanuel was great! We got the sampler platter, calamari and gumbo. The shrimp was amazing, the spinach dip was good and the chicken fingers were good. The gumbo was yummy... definitely a do-over. The calamari... It was okay but I wouldn't order it again.

We went for the experience since we are big fans of the movie, although the place gives very cozy retro vibe, we didn’t see much references to the actual movie itself, mostly just generic retro theme. Service was fast but the food is sad. Mac and cheese is worse than what they serve at a collage cafeteria and the shrimp is dry. Portion is small too. Just overpriced and not up to a real restaurant standard. Cool view in the middle of Times Square though.

Bubba Gump in Times Square isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an adventure into the heart of seafood excellence, infused with a touch of cinematic charm. The vibrant, movie-themed décor creates an atmosphere that’s both fun and inviting, making it a standout in the bustling vibe of Times Square.

It's a really funny place, I didn't know they created a Bubba Gump co that was featured in the Forest Gump movie. There are so many posters and references to the movie. On top of that, the food was really amazing, and the staff was really helpful. It is located at the Time Square, so you have a new view. I recommend booking it a bit ahead of time (2h is enough) as it can get busy.

Liked the crab and shrimp sandwich here. Calamari was also good. Clam chowder could have been better. Service is very slow. We had to wait for more than 5 mins to get a spoon and to get a glass of water.

My mom and I come here every year for our December vacation. My mom looks forward to getting the shrimp. We have Bubba Gumps where we live, but it's a different kind of experience being able to eat and see the beautiful view of Times Square! Service is always great, and food always hits.

This restaurant was on our bucket list for long time. Supringly restaurant is very spacious and can offer views of time square area. It has very charming decor and as expected food has more seafood options. Portion sizes for entree are sufficient per person. We tried mahi-mahi platter and salmon platter. Personally mahi-mahi was more saucy and we liked it. Definitely try strawberry shortcake and caramel pecan butter cake at the end. After the food, we had trivia about the movie. So be prepared for it 😜 Overall good experience and worth re-visiting

I dined in with friends. We wore our mask, even though we were vaccinated. But, I can't remember if it was required (more than likely it is). We were seated fast and the food wait was only like 20 minutes. The quality was good, and the view of Times Square was awesome. Would recommend!

Great place . Lots of memorabilia. And quotes from the movie. Good gift shop down stairs. Restaurant up stairs. Very efficiently run and quick seating. Food was great. Prices aren’t bad. Basically the market for seafood prices these days. Our waiter was quick and pleasant. Also nice view of the street.

Had a good time at the bar. The top shelf drinks as well as the Lava flow drink are great. The bartenders were nice and helpful. The food is okay. The dessert was the highlight of the night. See the picture of the Chocolate Chip Sundae. Warm cookies at the bottom with vanilla ice cream. I am mad at myself for not getting the souvenir glass the Lava flow drink came in.

A staple when you visit Times Square. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is one of many restaurants that you can visit when you’re in NYC. They offer not just shrimp, but a great variety of seafood specials. The restaurant also has a great view of Times Square especially at night. Come for the experience and come for the views. You’re already here in New York City, why not experience it and enjoy every moment of your visit.

Came with my friend from Italy since he has never been BGS before. He liked the food. Extremely attentive service checking on us all the time. Ordered the soup and few other dishes. Cocktails were good too. What i like about the most was that they gave us a cocktail kit as a souvenir when we were done for the dinner.

Wow I love the ambiance of the one on the waterfront in Baltimore but the night lights from 42nd street in nyc make up for it. Great Salmon and garlic broccoli. I love how their menu caters to everyone. Great price too.

Had an alright meal here with a lot of good friends of mine. For the amount you are paying it really wasn't anything special. Kinda hard to mess up shrimp and french fries. We did get cake and that was super dry and had very very little flavor. Not sure where they got that from or how long they've had it but I would not recommend getting their chocolate cake. Overall, nothing special

I went for lunch with my family, and having gone to the florida location, I was very disappointed with the service. The food wasn’t delicious, I got the shrimp scampi and the sauce was too watery, the service wasn’t the best either. We did not get our food at the same time, my husband waited an additional 10 minutes after the rest of us got our food. We even witnessed a couple leave due to how long they were taking to bring the food. Overall I was very unhappy with our experience.

I went there for my birthday like every year. We ordered 4 different plates but my daughter got something like a child portion of spaghetti. She is very skinny and was hungry after eating it. 4 plates 2 sodas 1 dessert $125 plus $25 tip, spaghetti is about $2 a pound. 1/4 pound more would had been great. Everything else was just great.

The meal I had tonight was probably the greatest I've ever had in my life! This was the second time my wife and I have come to New York but the first we've visited Bubba Gump's and probably one of many more. My wife ordered calamari for her starter, which was crispy, flavourful and delicious whilst I had a small bowl of gumbo. Being from the South, I'm very particular when it comes to gumbo since its hard to get right but what I had was absolutely perfect with a great level of spice that made me want to eat more and more. For mains, my wife had the Shrimper's Heaven which was absolutely perfect and I had a classic; fish and chips which again is difficult to get right but was perfectly seasoned and the fish was delightfully crispy yet light enough to not make me feel like I overate. My friend had calamari and a steak with mash and broccoli, all of which were beautiful. Our server Chris was outstanding; he was friendly, laid back and very charming and the trivia game he played with us made it into an outright experience. Its servers, service and food like this that will make people come back and we will certainly be back.

We had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., a famous restaurant. A fairly old-looking woman served the food, and the meal ended without much service. Maybe it's because I ordered a drink, but they didn't pour me a glass of water. I put $135 in cash on the table, which was the $121 food cost plus a $14 tip. However, I experienced a very strange sight. The woman who served me came right up to the table, blatantly counted the cash I had paid, one by one, shook her head, muttered that the tip was small, and left. She was really rude and rude. I have lived in the United States for over 10 years, and I have also worked and received tips, but tips are something I give when I feel grateful for the service I received. No matter how delicious the food is, I never go to a restaurant that trains rude staff who are crazy about tips. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Manager, provide proper employee training. Don’t you guys get paid weekly?? Did you bet your living on tips?? Are you guys beggars?? Why was this white grandmother able to do this without hesitation? Is it because I’m Asian? Hey, in my country, people are kinder than you guys even if they serve you without tipping. Work like a professional, you beggars. Managers must provide proper training to employees. And I'll give you the name for your reference. Please train the rude serving lady properly. Server: Brandi B.

Returned to NYC after 7 years and Bubba Gump was the first and only restaurant on our itinerary as we enjoyed it so much the first time. The experience certainly didn’t disappoint! Anthony gave us first class service - his recommendations were fab; he was attentive to our table; he made us laugh and above all, he made us both feel welcome and appreciated. The food was equally as amazing. Thank you Anthony Jackson!
