Westville
is
always
great
in
theory,
lots
of
veggie
forward
selections
and
comfort
food-
but
it's
more
of
a
gentrified
diner.
I
have
been
getting
takeout
during
Covid
to
support
local
businesses
and
to
see
how
this
will
play
out.
Although
I
only
have
to
cook
for
myself,
I
also
work
for
myself
so
eating
out
is
a
treat.
I
searched
around
for
hot
dogs
for
Memorial
Day
holiday
,
and
decided
to
go
in
and
order
rather
than
using
the
online
service.
There
was
no
menu
for
those
waiting
in
line,
so
when
I
got
near
the
front
I
wasn't
ready
to
order
as
most
places
have
abbreviated
menus.
The
bartender/manager
seemed
disappointed
that
I
only
wanted
one
hot
dog,
when
I
added
that
I
also
wanted
sweet
potato
fries
she
suggested
the
2-dog
special
so
I
ordered
that
with
the
fries
as
a
side,
and
an
Aperol
Spritz
to
wash
it
down
with.
The
girl
at
the
register
just
said
there
you
go
after
I
paid,
no
instructions
about
receipt
or
how
to
get
food.
Then
she
ran
off
to
the
bar
and
turned
her
attention
to
her
unfinished
breakfast/Lunch.
Many
customers
came
in
after
and
I
noticed
they
all
were
brought
their
drinks
while
they
were
waiting
for
their
food.
My
aperol
spritz
sat
melting
on
the
bar
top.
Finally,
I
asked
the
bartender
if
she
minded
bringing
me
my
drink-
she
asked
me
what
it
was
as
if
she
had
no
clue
one
was
sitting
their
getting
watered
down.
I
also
had
to
ask
for
a
straw.
I
followed
everyone
else
outside,
then
saw
some
food
at
the
desk,
so
went
in
to
ask
about
it.
Again,
she
had
no
clue
who
I
was
so
I
said
I
ordered
food
but
didn't
know
how
to
pick
it
up
She
assured
me
they
would
bring
it
out,
neither
she
or
cashier
looked
me
in
the
eye
when
they
handed
me
my
food/drink.
I
went
to
the
river
nearby
to
see
what
I
got.
Overloaded
dogs,
where
you
couldn't
even
see
the
hot
dog
with
Heinz
packets.
For
a
trendy
diner,
you
would
think
they
would
have
something
better
not
corn
syrup
packets.
They
were
decent,
but
the
sweet
potato
fries
were
not
edible.
I
typically
don't
mind
over
cooked
things
but
these
tasted
like
my
palo
Santo
smudging
sticks
and
I
couldn't
finish
them.
When
I
reviewed
the
"special"
it
turns
out
you
only
save
$1
by
ordering
2
hot
dogs.
Maybe
worthwhile
if
you
get
a
veggie
side
but
not
really
for
sad
fries.
The
drink
was
made
well,
but
watery
due
to
sitting
on
the
counter
for
so
long.
The
only
reason
I
could
think
of
for
my
bad
service
is
that
the
staff
is
looking
for
bigger
tickets
and
bigger
groups
for
tips.
And
I
know
the
resto
is
going
to
say
they
are
doing
their
best
and
I
get
it,
I
work
with
many
resto
owners.
But
clear
communication
and
a
doable
menu
are
in
order
for
survival.
Many
others
are
doing
it
right.
