This place which is close to Wall Street is the perfect place if you want to eat healthy and don’t want to spend a lot. The atmosphere is great, a lot of lighting and space, serves are welcome, helpful and friendly. The taste is awesome and the side os the plates are quiet big! On the other hand, the restroom is in the other building however, It’s not a big deal. I actually recommend this place. :)

Definitely a surprise. It’s on a sleepy corner at the end of wall st where there isn’t really anything else. It has a decent outdoor space. The breakfast burrito I had was fantastic. The food came out shockingly fast but everything tasted great. Can’t wait to come back and try more .

What wasn't amazing??? I cannot find a single thing they could have done better!😭 The drinks were delicious, the food was flexible (vegan options) and INCREDIBLE! The service was on point and the seating options. I also appreciated that they offer reservations. And by the Hudson with a view of Brooklyn Bridge?? I'm going back!

Went for lunch and loved it. I got the CHICKEN PILAF RICE BOWL W/ GRILLED CHICKEN which was incredible. My friend got the burger with fries and he liked it too. Prices were very fair . I will definitely go back

Came here for dinner on a Monday and there was plenty of seating. The place has a casual, upscale fast-food feel to it and the service was very attentive. The steak was juicy and cooked almost to my specifications. The pesto mashed potatoes were delicious and the asparagus was perfectly cooked.

January 2022 5* Visited this place for quick lunch with colleagues. The place is very close to Wall Street and Ferry Terminal. The menu is limited but very good. Staff was very good and everything was ready very fast. I tried vegetable curry rice bowl and it was amazing. Make sure to have reservations as this place can get busy in no time. There is bar also if you are looking for some drinks.

The portions are huge. I especially liked the fries and the hummus/beef/pita bowl. I forgot the name of it, sorry! Everything was delicious and it is a kid friendly restaurant. There's not much parking around since it is near seaport so you may have to park a bit farther to walk here.

Totally underrated restaurant! Westville has awesome salads and food. When you are looking for a restaurant that feels a little less frills and more about their eats- this should be your go to! I have been here a couple of times and have tried their salmon kale salad as well as their truffle fries and I am obsessed with both! They serve alcohol as well which is a nice perk if you are looking for a drink with your meal. Everything feels fresh and they have a couple locations in manhattan. Prices are reasonable, so you're not spending an arm and a leg on dinner but you will definitely really enjoy it and be satisfied!

We were a party of five with different tastes and we all left very happy and satisfied. Starting from our happy hour drinks to dessert. We ordered the quinoa burger, skirt steak, market plates with 4 different veggies, sampler of their tacos for Tuesday night special. Everything was fresh, colorful and delicious. Our waiter was nice also. Establishment is very hip, clean and well maintained. Prices are great for the Fidi area! Dessert ordered was nutella cookie sandwich, raspberry crumble and warm chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream...yum! Will definitely be our new preferred lunch and dinner spot.

Great outdoor dining option. It was a bit chilly in the winter weather with the outdoor air ventilation, but the heaters definitely cut through most of it and was worth the extra safety it provided! Warm drinks were the perfect accompaniment and lots of healthy choices available for dinner!

Casual , and calm … I stumbled upon Westville and inquired about their vegan options. I ended up staying and ordered the Summertime Chopped Salad and the Quinoa vegan patty on top .. the vinaigrette dressing was light and brightly flavored, I order an extra side of it to add on top (delicious)

My husband and I enjoyed it! It's clean, cozy, and comfortable. We had the veggie chilli. It was really good. I don't understand the $4 charge for cheese though - ridiculous. Service was great.

The space is big, not as nicely designed as some. The menu is limited. The avocado toast with eggs is bad - I think of the toast with chunky avocado smash sprinkled with pomegranate and sunflower seeds and compare it to this miserly smear of slightly greying pseudo-avocado mush. Really bad. The children’s menu at breakfast is also a shambles - hot dog, Mac and cheese, mini burgers and fries, chicken nuggets...you’re supposed to be health conscious. I get that kids are picky and like chicken nuggets, but shouldn’t “health conscious” mean at least TRYING to hide something of nutritional value in those meals. Gross. On the plus side, the service was excellent. But why would anyone visit more than once? I don’t think there was anything on the menu that looked like it would keep me coming back, even once again. Super disappointing. I haven’t lived in the city for a few years, but Chelsea was always so good.

Really cool small spot to eat with friends. I had the salmon with grilled asparagus, and mashed potatoes. That dish was delicious. I'm curious to try their other selections.

Had brunch here and it was overall okay. They have a general idea of what brunch is supposed to be, but the execution needs some work. Come here if you're hungry, and you just so happen to be in the area. It isn't worth going out of your way. On a positive note, the staff were quite friendly and the food came out in a timely manner.

This place always has such great, and fresh food! LOVE their yucca fries!! Their arugula salad with breaded chicken is also fantastic with just enough lemon and oil! The price is perhaps a tad high, but still plenty worth it. I’ve been here before and the burgers, Mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, chicken tenders, corn on the cob, fish and chips, and ALL their market sides are absolutely delicious.

Everything here is fresh and very healthy. Had items for dinner from the Fall specials, butternut squash soup and the BBQ chicken platter. Soup was a hair underseasoned but an easy fix, better than being too salty. The BBQ chicken platter came with half a chicken, slaw and rice. The chicken was good and very tender, BBQ sauce was not overpowering and compliment the chicken well. The slaw and rice were both good too, lots of fruits and vegetables mixed it but it all went well together. If you are looking for a place to get a healthy lunch or dinner this is a nice option. Also, they closed at 9:30 this day and I came in after 9. They were able to accommodate with no issues.

Never had a bad meal at Westville. Usually eat at the one in Hell’s Kitchen, but met up with some friends in the Financial District and needed a restaurant in the area. So happy Westville Wall Street did not disappoint.

Good Food, good service, warm and comfortable on a cold day. Busy but not packed. Very glad I went there. This Westville location was not as artsy looking as the Westville East in Alphabet City but otherwise it was a perfect choice for a Saturday Brunch. I had the Breakfast Burrito and totally enjoyed it. Hot and tasty with good coffee.

Everything was excellent came at about 6 and got in right before the rush. I ordered the grilled steak, side of garlic mashed potatoes, and peas. My girlfriend ordered the breaded chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes. For drinks we had hot cider and a Diet Coke. All food and drinks were amazing and I would definitely consider the steak. Finally service was great and everyone was very nice and matched the aesthetic of the restaurant.

Every one of the food sources taste so great. We had praised our competition accomplishment at this eatery. Everybody was unmitigated love with this spot and was exceptionally happy with the food sources served. We as a whole partook in our dinners just as the occasion.

Great place for dinner and drinks. Awesome service and food! We got an outdoor table right by the water with heaters. Hermes, our server, was fantastic. He was prompt and efficient. Most of the table had all you can eat tacos and tequila and were not disappointed. We had lots of choices and options. The refills were quick and hot. I had the beef quesadilla which was very tasty. I strongly recommend a visit to Westville if in Ridgewood. We have been here before and will come back! Great atmosphere.

Welcoming attentive service. Good happy hour! Mixed reviews on menu. Chicken tenders were standard. Salmon and butterbut squash were subpar. Butternut squash was not ripe but also very under cooked. Nice mushroom side. Good burger and good sweet potato fries.

Went in because this pizza place has my name! It also looked inviting! Pizza was fantastic, good price to. 2 slices and a pop for 6 bucks! The guy who helped me was nice too! Upgraded one of my slices and gave me a large garlic doughball (which was fresh, moist and flavorful). Will be going back the next time I have a pizza craving.. Great slice. Small, no bathroom, very limited seating. Got the spinach dip slice too but preferred the plain slice!👍

Tried almost every single market vegetable dish here and my top three are the beet with goat cheese, roasted sweet potatoes, and yuca fries. The sirloin steak and the tofu with teriyaki sauce are also good

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. Started with truffle parm fries. They came out quickly, but barely any parmesan and the truffle flavor was overpowering. Had the breaded chicken cutlet with mushrooms and garlic broccoli next. Cutlet was very basic. No seasoning in the batter or chicken. The broccoli tasted like straight char. Again overpowering with no garlic in there. The mushrooms were great. It's tough to mess up sauteed mushrooms. Had a turkey burger, which was dry, some decent sweet potato fries and a decent arugula salad. Food is mediocre at best. On the service side, the staff was amazing. Everything was brought out smoothly and they were very friendly.

A tasteful experience well above the price point. The numerous market vegetables interesting options offer many different flavors. Fast and great service. Fun atmosphere with the option I'd seating at the bar, even when not busy still feels cozy. About the food: Delicious grilled marinated chicken - flavorful and perfectly cooked. Truly grilled. All time best. Market vegetables that I tried: -the kale and spinach are delicious if you don't mind that are sautéed - the zucchini and tomatoes are good, a little lite on the flavor - the cauliflowers with tahini, a little disappointing

Great food. The artichoke quinoa burger was simply amazing and they have the best truffle fries.

  • 5/5 William L. 2 years ago on Google
Great downtown Wall Street bistro; recommendation: the four-vegetable plate. Kale, artichokes, asparagus, broccoli, beets, peas, etc. all fresh and prepared deliciously and in abundance. Add a side: I recommend the grilled chicken breast cutlet surrounded by your choice of two exquisitely prepared vegetables (add another one or two for a minimum price). As a picky tea imbiber, I found their black iced tea wonderful, although they also serve wine, liquor, etc. The service is impeccable and friendly, and every time I’m in NYC I stop by Westville at lest once or twice. Great concept and the preparers take a lot of pride and expertise in their food selection and delivery. Great bargain for quality! I seldom write food reviews, but this fine establishment deserves a 5 star.

Best food I had in New York. I had breakfast I went with my cousins. Everything was delicious and the waitress was great and the guy I think he was a hostess. Unfortunately I don’t remember their names but I went on a Sunday morning.

This was a sweet diner with excellent customer service. Their cleanliness and safety are wonderful. All that said, I was not impressed with their Beyond burger. As a vegan, I expt a little more on my burger than a patty, single slice of tomato, and leaf of iceberg for $17. The patty wasn't all that well-seasoned either. Their sauce, though, was divine! The salad was fresh and the dressing good. Heads up: They do have gluten-free bread for the burgers, but not buns. The bread is decent--a little thin but good.

What a wonderful find this is! First of all, all the different items our family ordered were fresh and delicious. I wish I could say it's easy to find restaurants of this quality, but it isn't. We were so impressed by our waitress, Bridgette, who made sure everything was perfectly to our liking, the hardworking busboy, and the delightful GM who checked on us periodically to make sure we were happy. We were happy! Make sure you order some of their fabulous sides. So yummy! No wonder lunch was packed on a Monday. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic restaurant with a handful of locations throughout NYC. Delicious cocktails, 8 beers on tap, and a decent wine list. Food is amazing, fresh, and healthy (mostly). Try the yuca fries or any of the daily specials for a unique treat.

Check the website each day day between 10:50-11:15am for the daily lunch specials. My coworkers and I love the chicken burger. Their veggie scrambles are delicious too. Their website is very user friendly and makes it easy to add protein to your salad or dish. I’ve never had a bad meal from them - all ingredients are always very fresh.

Good food, reasonable prices, kind waitresses... the setting lacks intimacy for a date-dinner, but the location is easily reached. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The peanut mousse is heavenly, not too much sugar. About 14-20 $ / dinner plate, 4-6 $ per dessert, well worth it.

Had lunch today at this place. My experience was very positive. Staff was very accommodating. The food was good, and the service was fast. I ordered the veggie soup and the grilled chicken platter and a soft drink for which I paid less than what I thought the cost would be. You can sit inside at the bar or a table and outside on the sidewalk tables where I sat, and it was nice and comfortable with a Wall Street view.

Westville is always great in theory, lots of veggie forward selections and comfort food- but it's more of a gentrified diner. I have been getting takeout during Covid to support local businesses and to see how this will play out. Although I only have to cook for myself, I also work for myself so eating out is a treat. I searched around for hot dogs for Memorial Day holiday , and decided to go in and order rather than using the online service. There was no menu for those waiting in line, so when I got near the front I wasn't ready to order as most places have abbreviated menus. The bartender/manager seemed disappointed that I only wanted one hot dog, when I added that I also wanted sweet potato fries she suggested the 2-dog special so I ordered that with the fries as a side, and an Aperol Spritz to wash it down with. The girl at the register just said there you go after I paid, no instructions about receipt or how to get food. Then she ran off to the bar and turned her attention to her unfinished breakfast/Lunch. Many customers came in after and I noticed they all were brought their drinks while they were waiting for their food. My aperol spritz sat melting on the bar top. Finally, I asked the bartender if she minded bringing me my drink- she asked me what it was as if she had no clue one was sitting their getting watered down. I also had to ask for a straw. I followed everyone else outside, then saw some food at the desk, so went in to ask about it. Again, she had no clue who I was so I said I ordered food but didn't know how to pick it up She assured me they would bring it out, neither she or cashier looked me in the eye when they handed me my food/drink. I went to the river nearby to see what I got. Overloaded dogs, where you couldn't even see the hot dog with Heinz packets. For a trendy diner, you would think they would have something better not corn syrup packets. They were decent, but the sweet potato fries were not edible. I typically don't mind over cooked things but these tasted like my palo Santo smudging sticks and I couldn't finish them. When I reviewed the "special" it turns out you only save $1 by ordering 2 hot dogs. Maybe worthwhile if you get a veggie side but not really for sad fries. The drink was made well, but watery due to sitting on the counter for so long. The only reason I could think of for my bad service is that the staff is looking for bigger tickets and bigger groups for tips. And I know the resto is going to say they are doing their best and I get it, I work with many resto owners. But clear communication and a doable menu are in order for survival. Many others are doing it right.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here today. We took our 10 yo daughter and 4 of her friends there for dinner. Their menu is perfect for kids with all kind of food preferences (my kid is vegetarian, her friends eat meat) and adults. The restaurant finds a middle ground where kids and adults feel comfortable. The staff were wonderful too, very happy to support the celebration. They confused one of orders and were quick to acknowledge it (and offered to cover the glass of wine that we ordered). For dessert they lit candles and gave delicious cookies to each of the kids, on the house. It really felt that they went out of their way to make this a happy and memorable occasion for us all. Beyond tonight, my kids love this place (which is why we chose it for the bday party), its casual but not too low key. Food is good and healthy(ish) with plenty of options. Definitely our favorite restaurant for when we're in the area.

Westville is a great spot in FiDi for quality food and drinks. During peak lunch hour it tends to be a very popular spot so if you can get there before 12, that may save you some waiting time. Market plates are the staple here at westville. The veggies are incredibly flavorful and when you couple that with a protein, you will leave fully satisfied. Every time I have been to westville it has been a great experience, very standard and on point.

Tasty healthy food and drinks at a nice price . They have lunch deals too. Sweet potato and Yuca fries are tasty and fresh. They specialize in vegetable side dishes. I liked the mushrooms but didn't think there was enough pesto flavor in the pesto mashed potatoes. Salmon was brought medium rare so I'd you want it coooked all the way through maybe ask them to put more of a sear on the outside and cook it all the way through. Blueberry pie dessert was pretty good but skip the carrot cake - it really tastes more like carrot bread (like banana bread type of thing ) not really cake. Drinks were nice , fairly strong .
