Sugar Factory is really for tourists who are willing to pay $11+ for milkshakes and other drinks that are very eclectic looking and not really edible because of the everything and the kitchen sink added to it. The interior is quirky and the music, which is blasted to ear splitting levels is what you would find in a NYC dance club and not suitable for families or children, which the place is supposed to cater to. If you do visit the Sugar Factory, only go there for their milkshakes and desserts because their regular food items are over prices, bland and sad looking. Their Classic Frosty Hot Chocolate, which is shown here, was delicious. They do make a mean milkshake, but my Ham and Cheese crepe, also pictured here was disgusting. It smelled like vomit, and I could barely eat it. The taste was foul with rubbery crepe, and the inside seriously look like vomit. I almost thought it was expired ingredients, and because of that, my entire visit was ruined. It took me hours to feel better. The service is so-so for a small place. It's very claustrophobic inside. If you want great food with big portions and incredible desserts, say away from the Sugar Factory I recommend Serendipity 3. I have been there a few times, and they have never disappointed, Sugar Factory left me feeling ill after I left there and made me wonder if there were possible rodents in the kitchen because the lack of cleanliness also worried me.

I was there on a Saturday. Make sure you book before going or prepare to wait. Great experience, but not something you would regularly repeat. There’s a birthday celebration every 10 mins on average. I realized it would’ve been best if we went there after sunset. Lunch was pretty noisy with lots of kids on sugar rush. The mains are okay but the desserts are better. There seems to be a great variation in service. Unfortunately our server seemed very uninterested and/or untrained. Very poor in taking orders.

The place was a lot smaller than the others I've been too. The food was really good and so was the drinks. The service was not good at all so I took away two stars. People were friendly but it took a while to get our drinks. Then we ordered our food and people that came in after and ordered after us got there food. This also happened to the couple next to me as my table was not the only one. I think they can do better they just have to prioritize which customers came first and not forget about others.

This is a total one time experience restaurant. The drinks and shakes are really cool for the kids but the food is nothing special. It's regular food that you can get anywhere. It is also on the pricey side but again your paying for the experience. There is no parking around lunch time and the parking garages are not that close. Expect a long wait and once you're in there it takes a long time to get food and drinks and shakes. It was cool for the kids but I don't think we will go back.

I had lunch here on Tuesday and it was a unique experience. Great Food! Great Service! I had the watermelon Goblet and the presentation was breath taking . The white chocolate cheese cake practically melted in my mouth . I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking to have a great time .

Sugar Factory is one of those places you read about and decide you must have the experience, so, we decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday there. The online reservation was easy through Open Table, so 5 stars there. When we got there we weren’t greeted with friendliness and since we were 9 and only 4 of us were there we had to wait for every single person to get there which was very inconvenient given the fact my wife just had an ACL replacement on her right knee (which I told them), so 2 stars there. The ambiance was really nice with lots of colors, pictures of celebrities that have been there, good music...in general a great vibe, so 5 stars here. The waiters were friendly, attentive and dynamic, even though we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, and the appetizers came first, so, on this one, 4 stars. The food was ok, not great, and their signature drinks were REALLY EXPENSIVE for what they were ($32 each!!!)...I mean, hey were big (60oz) but had lots of ice, and the dry ice effect was cool, but when you drank them they were not great, so, 3 stars in food/drinks/value!!! I guess you have to do this once in your life, so....CHECK!!!

Cool atmosphere and decent price for the city (around $18 for a hamburger). This desserts are what this place is famous for. You can't go wrong with any of their specialty shakes or their famous goblet drinks. Their regular food is okay. Nothing special. I wouldn't come back here for dinner. It's really a place to have dessert and drinks. It's also in a real hip area of the meat packing district so there is lots to do in the area too.

GREAT atmosphere! The goblet drinks are about $40 each but they are tasty and you will feel the alcohol, so it’s worth the treat. We only tried the appetizers... calamari and the macaroni and cheese pops. Really good. I would definitely come back. Great for parties. Service was ok. It took long to place our order but the atmosphere helped with the delay! Loud music, party vibe! :)

Great for kids and adults. The food is average and overpriced. Where they really shine is with their specialty desserts and drinks. The drinks can also be made alcohol free. Be sure to make a reservations a few days before. If you are celebrating someone's birthday, add a celebratory sparkle to their dessert. The staff are awesome here too!

Simple decor, chandeliers, awesome menu, sweets and candy for sale. Good food. The goblet drinks for 2 are amazing, poured over ice so it smokes. I had black Angus filet grilled perfectly mashed potatoes and string beans. Delicious.

This is a place you go to on special occasions. The receipt can give you a heart attack so be prepared, especially if you’re with a large crowd. On the positive note, the portions are good and the drinks are huge. The one I got was weird, I think bubble gum so my drinking partners did not want to help. It was a waste of money really and now with Covid-19 I don’t think people will be sharing drinks for a long time. They might need to rethink their cups and drink menu.

Their food is alright, spinach artichoke dip is FANTASTIC, and drinks are very good, too. I will say drinks with lemon, lime, pineapple, or guava are especially good for masking alcoholic taste should you choose to make your drink alcoholic, but if you have kids or need to stay sober for the night you can order any drink non-alcoholic as well. Great place for those with a serious sweet tooth!

Sugar Factory is a popular place for celebrating birthdays! While I was there, there was a birthday song sung almost every 30 minutes. The waitress was very kind, considerate, and polite 😊. Definitely going back again. Be aware that it is very busy and almost always packed.
