Amazing Experience. Was able to secure a reservation for the First Saturday night that they were open. Everything from start to finish was incredible. Chef is one of the best in the world. Great views, great food with great company. Service was fantastic. Cannot say enough good things. It is a must. Thank You for a great night.

The food, the service, the views, the design - all great. Prices - as with all Thomas Keller restaurants - are really pushing it. I'm not sure that it's all justified. I know, I know, it's an experience - and it is, but it's still just a meal. A very good meal 😋. I had a classic - filet mignon made with American wagu beef and it was juicy and flavorful. Golden tomato gazpacho had some bite and enjoyable cheese and veggies inside.

Very classy restaurant with attentive and courteous staff. We had the oxtail appetizer which was excellent. We also had the delicious chips. For entree we had the chicken for two. It was well prepared but could have been more flavorful. It was a bit bland. We had a couple of their old fashioned for drinks and I highly recommend that. They were excellent. You would expect drinks at a place like this to be $25 but their old fashioned are only $16.

My friend and I were lucky to be seated by the windows overlooking the Vessel around sunset. After this the perfections just kept coming. From the lemon crème fraîche to the banana pudding, everything was pure delight. All the dishes were delicious, fun and insipiringly gorgeous to look at. Pasta with the truffles stirred emotions from the first sniff. Salmon might never be the same. The cocktails (daiquiri varieties) are dangerously good. Ambiance: Retro styled furniture, plenty of velvet, flanked by citrus trees makes the room soothing yet joyous. Plenty of work has been put in to acoustics (restaurants everywhere, take note) Staff: you notice how young the restaurant is in some of the many, many people catering to your needs. I only find this endearing. They all did their best and I was never left wanting for anything. Many of them have a great sense of humor and makes you feel like a regular. It's a perfect restaurant. That's really all you need to know. Like Mr Bruni said, I wish I could afford it weekly.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner in the TAK Room. All the food are delicious and nicely presented. The beef Wellington is very good and the beef is tender and juicy. The staff are very friendly and the view of the restaurant is great, overlooking the Vessel. We ordered the banana dessert which is different banana desserts layer into a cup and it's so good! I also get a chocolate birthday cake from the restaurant and I love the flavour of it. I would definitely want to come again.

Always lovely at the Tak room! It’s our fifth or sixth visit and it’s so consistent and delicious! It is my opinion they should get a Michelin star next year.

Beautiful room and terrific service. The burger was good, nowhere near best in city as NYPost review claimed. The choc cake is terrific (for $18 it better be). When they bring the butter to the table, make them wait so you get your phone ready to take a video.

Phenomenal New Years Eve dinning experience. The warmest and most gratuitous service ever. Our main server Emily was 5 stars. And everyone rose to that level. From the lady manning the coat check to the fab women handling seating. Truly exceptional service. The food was just as amazing. See photos. The short ribs lasagna is to die for. The cocktails are terrific. And then live jazz was such a treat. My husband and I felt lucky to be spending our NYE there. Our first visit and certainly will not be our last.

Another fantastic Chef Thomas Keller restaurant. The menu is similar to The Surf Club restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Surfside, FL. The food was extremely well prepared and delicious. I highly recommend the soft boiled egg with caviar and the short rib beef Wellington. Excellent wine list too.

I came here for my birthday dinner; absolutely gorgeous view by the window. Its a place you go for the experience as it is located inside the hundson yards mall and you can see the vessel! Overall, not a restaurant I will go for food what so ever. Pro - great and attentive service - live music was playing on a Satuday night by the bar - tried their tuxedo #2 cocktail & loved it! (Very strong) - lasagna was very mediocre. Couldn’t really taste the rib eye nor the eggplant. It was just a lot for such a simple dish. - chicken was tender and juicy, but something you can find elsewhere easily. Con - even though the reservation was made a month ago and we arrived exactly on time (arrived about 2 minutes earlier than the reservation) we had to wait about 20-25 minutes - ordered the lasagna and the chicken for two. There was a very long gap of waiting between the two entrees - a whole chicken comes out, but they cut you only the leg and the wing... not to mention it wasn’t cut very well by our waiter

Probably one of the nicer meals I have had in NYC. Prime rib cooked to perfection and cut at the table. Caesar salad made at the table. An excellent dining experience.
