We love the experimental and creative dining concept of Intersect by Lexus and were there for Manresa, which is currently in residence. Manresa is a 3-star Michelin restaurant, originated from Los Gatos and famous for it's new America & California-style dishes by utilizing local ingredients. We were so excited for this amazing experience here in NYC without the need of traveling across the country. We had our reservation in the dining room and only A La Carte menu was available, where as the tasting menu is only taken by counter seating. It was a little disappointing but we definitely will try to come back for their tasting menu. We had Duck Foie Gras as our Bocales, it was served with Toasted Levain from Manresa Bakery. It was so creamy with various flavors and perfect with the bread. For appetizers, we tried Beef & Oyster Tartare and Herb Panisse & Pomme Paillasson which were so unique and surprising to us. Our friends told us the Roased Aged Duck was a must try and it was one of the best duck dishes we have ever had in our life, the flavor was thick and the texture was tender. In addition, we ordered their Grilled A5 Miyazaki Wagyu as entree, the beef was well-grilled and melted in our mouth immediately. We ended our night with two beautiful desserts: Salted Butter Ice Cream and Chocolate Meringue Millle-Feuille. These looked like an art and the taste was delicate. It was an unforgettable and wonderful night and we highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

I loved the food, the service, and the concept of doing pop-ups of overseas restaurants. The space is also great, though it can get loud as it fills up. The Misihiguene menu was spectacular, great for sharing. By now I've been to three different restaurant rotations and they've all been excellent. I recognize many of the staff, even after the pandemic, and it makes me glad to see familiar faces knowing the quality and the creativity of the experience remain high.

Intersect NYC is a co-operative project between Lexus and Union Square Hospitality Group with additional locations in Dubai and Tokyo. The kitchen is interchangeable every 6 months - they invite a skilled artisan cook to design a menu. The third chef chosen this year is James Beard Award winner and New Orleans: Top Chef Runner-up Nina Compton. She hails from Saint Lucia and her bill of fare is an array of Caribbean and Cajun-inspired dishes (dover sole meuniere and hot chicken) which will not fail to excite the taste buds. Nothing less than masterful, the two-level venue houses an immersive environment of culinary delights and handmade cocktails - perfect for private events. Currently, they are led by classically trained Executive Chef Nickolas Martinez (formerly Foragers). This three-star Michelin restaurant consistently remains on the tongue of some of the most influential critics. After all, their service, presentation as well as wine pairing is unprecedented. If you are in the mood to be won over by a culinary oasis, then this trip is worth making.

Intersect is a lovely space in the meatpacking district and offers a wide range of establishments within. I personally found the tasting menu to be a mixed experience, a handful of the dishes were a miss and often focused on presentation over taste. I can't say I would recommend intersect with their current tasting menu, especially when the city has so many unique tasting menus that provide an incredible experience. (I would be interested in a future visit after the chef rotation) As for the lounge I was fairly disappointed, I felt both of the cocktails ordered were average for the cocktail scene in the city. They relied heavily on presentation to attempt differentiating themselves but ultimately fell short.

The most amazing bathroom I’ve been to in my life! The best salmon I’ve ever had, raw or cooked. The best, most luxurious tasting sourdough bread (with foie gras) I’ve ever had. Roasted aged duck is really just meh unlike many reviews say. Lemon verbena Panna cotta is great, not to sweet at all. Awesome atmosphere. I can bring important friends or business partners here for a good chat, with reliable food and drinks. And amaze them with the bathroom! Good restaurant overall, will definitely come back again.

Curb appeal is what initially caught my eye with this place. Their covered parklet dining area is absolutely state-of-the-art and is easily the best one I’ve seen in the year when parklets became ubiquitous in NYC. And, yes, the Japanese luxury car manufacturer does own the place as is evident from both the place’s name and the information on their website. It’s all about hospitality, luxury, and culinary art. We had a reservation at the lounge on the ground floor, and on all three counts Intersect delivered handsomely. The food was unique, its presentation was immaculate, and our server was extremely helpful. Add to that experience inviting ambiance, music, and comfortable lounge seating, and you have the recipe for success. Very well done Lexus!

Went during Manresa residence. Fantastic service - servers are extremely attentive but not annoyingly so, and were very knowledgeable when providing suggestions. Food was of course impeccable and exceptionally plated. The lounge is also a great area for some small bites and more cocktails!

Lunch here was a suggestion made by my father in law. The space is interesting overall, but felt a little expected and obvious in some ways too. Like they’re trying too hard to make the whole thing scream Lexus at every point - so they throw car parts on the wall and paint them white and call it art. That said, the bathroom was my favorite part and wow, it was exquisite! Completely hands-free experience from the moment you approach the bathroom door.... it slides open gently as you walk in. You step into an elegant and warmly lit room, with fresh flowers and scented candles strategically placed. There are another set of white glossy doors to the left, again opening softly to indicate their vacancy. Inside the stall, I was struck again by the intuitive nature of my surroundings. You’ll just have to go in an experience it for yourself but I think the only other bathroom like this I’ve seen was in Japan! I shouldn’t go on and on about the restroom without also acknowledging the staff and the food.... we went in to celebrate my father in laws birthday - they had customized the menu with his name and the food was excellent! **UPDATED WITH LESS STARS ** December 2019 Not good. We went again and the bathroom wasn’t as cool. The waitress messed up our order. The place was totally dead, and the food was meh.

They’re closing soon, so this review might not be useful. The decor is beautiful, but the service is lacking. The food is also overpriced for the portion sizes.

My husband and I followed this opening from when we saw it announced somewhere on our social medias. We tried to book ahead of time for the Manresa residence, but of course, the first few weeks we were available were booked solid. By some miracle, when we had a reservation for the bar downstairs to at least absorb the space, I happened upon a last-minute opening for Manresa online to which I pounced on right away. The service was as impeccable as expected, very attentive when needed but gave us adequate privacy. The seats and tables were pretty close together, so you may be able to overhear entire conversations if you yourself are not in an animated conversation. The bathrooms for the whole building are in the first floor, so for anyone with tiny bladders like mine - expect racing up and down stairs for it. I must say, though, the bathrooms are one of the best, modern public bathrooms I've ever used! The food was delicious - none that I feel I would specifically return for, but tasty, nonetheless. I had the chocolate crescent dessert and that's so far what I would crave for.

11 course tasting menu. Impeccable service. Each dish was as uniquely tasty as it was creative. This set up ends on August 11th. A Israeli restaurant from Argentina will be the next concept starting September. Bravo, an innovative car company opening a revolving door restaurant that gives 2 to 3 new concepts each year. Brilliant!

This review is of the Lounge. While the lounge seems like a place to wait until a table opens above, you can enjoy yourself here with drinks and food until you are full. The fare here is great, and the lounge never seems to get too full, so I had the attention of the servers and kitchen. Of note was my request for them to grill an order of market veggies, which was amazing. One star off as the value was not quite there - for our total bill of about $140, we were hungry later in the evening and also could have went to a starred place for that price.

I wanted to give this place a chance b/c I do love me some southern food, but this is not what I expected. Deviled eggs and biscuits were good. The boudin was shaped and fried like Arancini, but they lacked any flavor. Its like they forgot salt or any seasoning. I wished they just served real deal boudin instead of this version. The ceviche, fat back crab was okay. Duck was okay. Louisiana barbecue shrimp was the best dish IMO. The shrimp itself was okay, but the sauce was something I could eat all day with some crusty bread. The $80 sole was not worth the price. Sauce was on the side but it was litterally just melted butter, so you had to douse the fish in the butter if you wanted some flavor. The Scialatelli was unevenly cooked? Is it supposed to be tough on one end and soft/tender on the other? The sauce was tasty. The beignets was stuffed with Pecan Buttercream which made it heavy and unenjoyable. I think when people think of beignets they think of the fresh, lite fried dough topped with powered sugar, not this version stuff with buttercream. Doberge cake for two was good, although, it felt like it cold have been a cake for four it was so big. I felt like some of these dishes were just reworked to make it more different and upscale for the NYC crowd.

we went for the grey's chef-in residence, mashama bailey. the food was impeccable, with some the most interesting and at the same time comforting flavors. we got one pasture menu and one water menu and we were glad we got different menus to try both. the foie & grits were as life changing as expected... we LOVED the pickles, so much so that we asked the exec chef for the recipe. he brought out to us the recipe with a hand written note. it was also my bf's bday, and they had a hand written note at the table when we got there. the service was as thoughtful as the food, and it was truly a rare & exceptional dining experience.

Wow is the best word to describe the food and experience we had there. I didn't know what was it when I booked it but it was def one of the best food experience I ever had. Got a taste menu of 12 dishes including two desserts that were out of this world. The restaurant rotates their chef every 4-6 months. This time was a chef from Chile from 040 restaurant (including their wine list)

Ate at Campere Lapin tasting menu and it was absolutely sensational. 10 courses with lots of different flavors and textures throughout. Cocktails were great too. Overall a 10/10 night. Highly recommend it.

Either very salty or very sour. The cod is super fishy. The most delicious thing is the chips.(maybe from whole food) Each person around $150 But the chips are the best. Service is wonderful. Food is not my type.

MOST EATERIES at the high end seek permanence, but the lush Intersect on Manhattan’s far West Side favors frequent changes and is designed for residencies by visiting cookery stars or future stars. It’s elegance is substantial but generic, largely forgettable, and not at all meant to compete with the food such as we had on an October Sunday in 2021, when the wizards of California’s Manresa took a turn at Cajun cuisine. The set menu was the focus and a joy.
