A gem on the northeast side of Central Park. At 5th Ave and 104th street. It has three sections, each featuring a different style: Italian, French, and English. The English Garden is closed for Construction, expected to open in the Fall 2022.

Overall rating: 5 It’s been so hard coming here since it’s so far for me (live in deep Brooklyn). I wish I got over that years ago, because this place is a must visit for any local or tourist. I actually like that it’s far from the crowds & feels very peaceful. Part of the garden was closed to construction, but will definitely become a regular moving forward. You can come read a book, sit on a bench to people watch or just stare at all the flowers for a really long time. Highly recommend.

Went on a sunny, mild day and the cherry blossoms were absolutely stunning. Beautiful part of Central Park to take a stroll or just take the nice weather in. Very clean and well maintained as well.

As a photographer I definitely recommend this place as a secret proposal spot! It has some shades in case of very bright sun day and it makes your photos look great. Although there are can be a lot of people, especially on the weekends, this place still looks very cozy and quiet

Lovely and well-maintained gardens offering some lovely views. As of June, 2023, only part of the gardens are open...the other part is under construction. Easy access from the Fifth Avenue gate (Vanderbilt Gate) at 105th street. Street parking in the area easier on weekends, particularly on Sundays.

It really doesn't get any better than this location! There is so much variety and beauty and each season brings different "photo gifts." I've photographed weddings, editorial and engagement sessions here and each one has been so special. Make sure to get a photo permit before coming here if you plan on taking photos. The location is a DREAM!

It's so beautiful and delightful. Layers of layers colors and flowers, just beautiful. There are actually two gardens. One is currently under construction, the other has countless tulips, daffodils, lilacs in bloom. It's gorgeous and peaceful. In between the two gardens, there are restrooms and a huge lawn and terrace with wisteria blooming.

Surprising find along a walk through the neighborhood. I did not know what it was until I entered through the main gate. Though there was some construction going on, it is definitely a nice place to check out and walk through. Also there are plenty of benches to take a sitting break while staying inside the gardens themselves and continuing to view the flowers. You can continue from this space into the rest of the park beyond

Beautiful place. For long time, I used to go on Sundays until one day (Sun., Jul 30, 2023) when I witnessed three pre-teens hitting an elder person (for nothing) and then that elder person reached out a NYC Parks guard for help and the guard in a very rude way told him that he could do nothing. Now I am afraid of going back because I know I would be alone with no guarantee of security. Really unfortunate.

This garden is on the upper east side of Central Park and easy to get to if you live up town and don't want to drive into or take the train to midtown. Also has a beautiful flower garden and trails that lead to the central park Onassis reservoir. I enjoy walking south then I run around the reservoir, then west and north to make a nice large loop. πŸ‘

A colourful and fragrant springtime stop to sit in the sunshine for a takeout lunch. Today by the north fountain the pansies and at least three types of daffodils are in bloom. Magnolias and lilacs are blooming to the east. It is not that peaceful as you can hear young people yelling immediately to the west near the public bathroom. And you can hear some traffic noise. The sound of the fountain helps to muffle it. We are in the middle of a big city.

Conservatory Garden at Central Park in NYC – it's like stepping into a secret garden straight out of a romantic movie. You won't believe you're still in New York – it feels just like a cozy Parisian garden with fountains. It's peaceful and oozes romance – perfect for couples. As a wedding photographer, I can vouch for the fact that this place is a jackpot for getting those elegant, fancy shots. The natural light is a dream, especially after 5 pm – it makes everything look magical. And that rainbow you see in the photos? No Photoshop trickery here – it's the sun playing peek-a-boo with the fountain's spray, giving you a natural rainbow effect. If you're after classic, stunning wedding pics that have that extra 'wow' factor, the Conservatory Garden is where it's at. Trust me, you'll be spellbound.

Typically a 5 star place but it’s closed for construction now. There is only one small garden open. Signs say it will reopen Spring of 2024.

Great park integrated into Central Park. Well tended with a great assortment of glowers and trees. A little bit out of the way so crowds are generally alright.

Beautiful garden. Lovely and wide variety of flowers. Very quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful little fountain in the middle of the garden. Definitely worth the time to visit. One of the most colorful places in Central Park.

What a beautiful, and free, garden! No wonder so many people get married there. Super romantic with many sitting spots.

A beautiful place to walk around and look at the different plants and flowers. A little bit of a hike from your normal tourists spots but I think that works out well in this case. Would love to see the garden in all seasons.

Completely worth the walk for sitting on a quiet bench among the flowers. Beautiful variety & colors. The only downside- the number of times you'll hear "This is my Garden" as people walk through with their friends

One of New York City’s hidden gems, this is toward the north east corner of Central Park. It is so beautiful that you will frequently find wedding photography shoots going on. There is gorgeous landscaping and the layout is such that there are several unique areas with their own distinctive character. If you’re a New Yorker, get over there and spend a few hours. If you’re visiting New York, don’t miss it!

The Conservatory Garden is one of the most beautiful places in New York. This is a garden created in the best traditions of European Landscape Design. Here you can take a leisurely walk along the flowering alleys or sit under the shade of a pergola entwined with flowering vines on a bench, admire the fountains and luxurious flower beds and the perfect parterre lawn. This garden is beautiful at any time of the year!

unbelievable flower arrangement. Breath taking! Can't think of a better colorful, flowing and vibrant garden except Bellagio's flower show extravaganza, which is not as natural and holistic appearing.

Even in the winter time it’s a nice walk. Great perspective of the city from a calm area in Central Park.

The Conservatory Garden is a hidden gem nestled in the Northeast area of Central Park. The gardens are beautiful and there are plenty of park benches to sit in and relax. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle/bustle of the City!

Love the Conservatory Garden and so do my children. My children love the children's fountain area which features a beautiful sculpture birdbath/waterfall and koi fish. It's a quaint area of the park with lovely views and clean bathrooms. It's a nice contrast to the far North area of the Harlem Meer which is often host to homeless, mentally ill and even crime.
