Eileen’s Cheesecake is so special and unlike any other classic NYC cheesecake out there. The taste is very light, fluffy, and airy textured and it is very similar to Japanese cheesecake. The original strawberry cheesecake is a must try. They have many different flavor of cheesecakes selections there. You should try it all! Quick tips: Do not expecting Eileen’s is a very dense brick-like classic NYC cheesecake.

I love Eileen’s Special Cheesecake, I think I am the super fans of them since 10 years ago, when I was pregnant couldn’t eat anything but the plain cheesecake from them. Until today, I buy cheesecake from them at least 2 times a month. I tried the others who also called ‘the best Cheesecake in XX city’, but the others teased like eating‘Lemon’ not ‘cheese’! Only in Eileen can have real cheese-cake! Especially the rich and juicy four fruits topping. Of course, I met one unhappy experience in store but they gave me a fast response after complaining, I feel the welcomes from them. Will continue to buy cheesecake from them, and recommend to my friends.

It's a pretty good, but not really my preference. Cheesecake is light and airy, I prefer more dense for cheesecake (NY style). Price is on the higher side, over $11 for 2 small cheesecakes. They do have many options to choose from which is a great plus.

I didn't think the cheesecake was the best of NYC. Yes they were good cheesecake but you are getting very small portion for the price. Also as a personal preference, I like my cheesecake to be dense and very cheesy. These cheesecakes were light, slightly sour, not too sweet. Good cheesecake but not my type

Absolutely love this place. To me, Eileen's cheesecake is the most iconic sweet shop in New York. I like how they offer such a huge variety of flavors and offer miniature, snack-size portions of cheesecake so you can sample all the different flavors. Every single cake has been nothing short of amazing. Extremely light and airy, not overly sweet, and delicate flaky crust.

Eileen's Special Cheesecakes stands out as one of the premier cheesecake destinations in the New York City area. While the establishment may be compact with no seating available indoors, it boasts an array of exceptional cheesecakes that are truly worth savoring. The diverse selection of flavors and various portion sizes, particularly the enticing small cakes, provides an excellent opportunity to sample different flavors without committing to a full cake. Each cheesecake is freshly homemade on-site, ensuring a delightful and delicious taste. The store's commitment to crafting these delectable treats in-house adds to the overall quality of the experience. If you appreciate high-quality cheesecakes and a wide variety of flavors, Eileen's Special Cheesecakes comes highly recommended.

This is a gem in little Italy ! On our recent trip to NY we especially went to Litte Italy to try Eileen’s special cheesecake and we were not disappointed at all! So many flavours to choose from - we tried the blueberry and caramel and both were delicious! We loved that these were bite sized small cheesecakes and does not leave you feeling over full! We enjoyed these little beauties in the park just opposite, Perfect addition to our foodie trip !

Went this past August and had a wonderful experience. Long awaited! I got the original, strawberry, chocolate and Oreo cheesecakes. All amazing but the original is simply delicious. 5/5 recommend.

The most authentic cheesecake shop. So many flavors, but nothing out of the way. All are mastered. The texture is perfect, a little airy. They have daily specials too. The staff is so friendly too. Awesome experience there, highly recommend if you want something New York authentic

A light and airy cheesecake that rivals the more famous New York cheesecake. I've had some amazing cheesecakes, but this is by far the best. The crumb layer just adds another layer of deliciousness. The cake melts in your mouth, and has you going for another bite before you know it. I was skeptical that a ricotta cheesecake could be done so well, but you won't be disappointed. My only regret is that I didn’t get another slice of cake to go. My next visit in New York will include a stop for another slice of this of this pure, handmade goodness.

We happen to accidentally stumble upon this place. We came out of eating pizza next door and craved something sweet. We decided to give this place a try. We were definitely not disappointed! This small establishment does not have any seating. No need! We stood by the bar next to the window as we ate our small sized delicious desserts. The attendant assisting us was very patient as we made our selection.

If you love cheesecake you must visit this place!!! There are a lot of options ( cherry, strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, banana, plain etc). I strongly recommend it!! The staff is very helpful and polite! Every cheesecake cost 6$. I tried 2 because the portion is not big enough.

Best cheese cake I’ve ever had! We chose the Lime and Lemon and the cheese cake base is really soft and not that sweet! Definitely will buy again.

Eileen’s Cheesecakes - 7/10 Look at these adorable mini cheesecakes. They are light, fluffy and not too sweet! While I really enjoyed these cheesecakes they were almost $7 per cheesecake. If they were slightly cheaper these would have been 8/10 no questions asked.

Small little bakery that sells cheesecakes - no seating so you have to either stand to eat or do takeout. My girlfriend and I ordered 4 cheesecakes ($6/cheescake): Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Key Lime, Strawberry, and Banana. All four cheesecakes were so unique and delicious. Each cheesecake had amazing flavor and you could really taste the uniqueness of it. I wish the cheesecakes were bigger for the price because $6 is a lot for such a small cheesecake - but the taste definitely makes up for it. Overall, I would rate this place a 8.5/10 - I would come again but only occasionally due to the price.

Eileen’s is one of the most well-known bakeries in NYC, and for good reason: They’ve been serving their signature New York Cheesecake since 1974! They sell many alternate flavors now, including Brown Sugar Milk Tea 😅 and Key Lime Pie, but my favorite is definitely the original cheesecake ($4.95) flavor. With a perfect creamy and dense consistency while also not being too sweet, it was definitely one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Pro tip: there’s no seating inside, so be prepared to eat while standing or just buy to-go to take home.

It’s a tiny standup place. Service is quick since they only have cheesecakes. I found them through Insider Food. There is no other cheesecake in New York that I have liked better than here. My favorite is their classic, strawberry cheesecake. I have also tried their blueberry, plain, and coffee cheesecakes, which are good too.

I’m a tourist, so of course I always go to Juniors and I do love it there, but this is my new favorite. The crust on this cheesecake is amazing too. I live the small sizes, so I can try multiple types too. The place is small, and very limited places to eat inside, , but it wasn’t crowded and the lady behind the register was super friendly. Next time I come to NY I’ll be coming here before Junior’s. Paul

I always thought I don‘t like cheesecake but I assume I haven‘t eaten a good one until I went to Eileens Special Cheesecake. Both ones were such a DREAM but we especially loved the strawberry cheesecake. Furthermore, we didn‘t have to wait long and the price was good. We will come back while we‘re in New York.

DEFINITELY a place to visit and try if you are in NYC! I had heard and read and watched so many shorts and reels about this and also from my work manager that I was already excited to visit and try these cheesecakes! I must say that ALL the hype about Eileen’s Special Cheesecakes place is worth every single word! A tiny but unique place, small counter and a huge display of fresh cheesecakes and one can see the cake making in the bakery behind the counter! We tried 3 different cakes (one from the today’s special) and all were delicious and scrumptious 😋 - perfect blend of sweet, cheese and a hint of the actual flavour you select. I only wish words can capture a taste so that these cheesecakes can be described in a right sense! 200% worth a visit and experience - you will always face a short queue and you can stand and eat inside the shop! Enjoy 😊

This elegant strawberry cheesecake is one of my favorites. Not only does it possess a delicate and radiant appearance, but its taste equally delights the body and all five senses. If you happen to visit New York, I highly recommend trying it at least once. How about indulging in this delightful experience?

Delicious. The salted caramel was absolutely the standout here. Very light and fluffy but the scorched top was so toasty and interesting to balance the cheesecake itself, which is exceptional. There was a line but they had people in and out like clockwork. Great spot to pick up something sweet.

The best cheesecake This cheese cake is a bit on the softer side not as firm like other cheesecakes it's delicious through out though some other cheesecakes are good need the crust to make it more enjoyable but Eileens cheesecake is perfect. I personally love the salted caramel. Portion could be bigger but it's so good you KINDA don't mind

I love salted caramel. The top is crispy sugar and it is not too sweet. The red velvet is okay for me, not the best. Overall, though it’s bit expensive, I consider it is pretty good to try.

I saw Eileen’s in some video online, claiming they have one of the best cheesecakes in New York. After trying them, I believe it. I love that they have tiny cheesecakes, with a variety of flavors. It makes it so much easier to try a bunch of different options. HIGHLY recommend the salted caramel cheesecake. The textures and flavors are about as close to perfection as I’ve had in a cheesecake.

Eileen's Special Cheesecake is a true gem in the world of desserts. Their signature original cheesecake is nothing short of perfection. Creamy, rich, and balanced in sweetness, it's undoubtedly the best cheesecake you'll find in New York City. A must-visit for all cheesecake aficionados!

Want a good cheese cake near spring street? This is the place. After shopping or eating lunch....stop buy and eat small cheese cake here. It is a classic in New York.

From top left clockwise: chocolate mousse (too sweet), original classic cheesecake (perfect), chocolate cheesecake (no chocolate flavor), and red velvet cheesecake (pretty good). I really liked the original classic. I'll go back and try the other flavors. I won't be buying the ones that were too sweet again. The chocolate cheesecake was the worst one. It had no chocolate flavor whatsoever. I wasn't sure what flavor profile it had, to be honest.

They were not joking when they said this place had THE BEST cheesecakes. Over the last week I was hopping from dessert places to dessert places in hopes of finding the best cheesecake. Right now, Eileen’s has the crown and nothing has come close yet. I got the: Plain cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Salted Caramel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (pretty great but compared to the plain one, nah)

Eileen's Special Cheesecake has been a fan favorite since 1974, and I can definitely see why. It's my new favorite cheesecake of all time! I only tried the plain flavor (I was too stuffed from lunch to try anything else), but it was so soft and melted in my mouth. It's different from other New York cheesecakes that tend to be dense and thick - this one is somewhere in between the NY and Japanese styles. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors!
