This is the most exceptional dining experience my husband and I have ever had in NYC, and one of the best in our life (we've lived here for 6 years and been to many of the top restaurants). When we visited for the first time, we knew it was where we had to have our micro wedding dinner and reception. From the moment we first met Jekaterina (Kate), she was friendly, respectful, impeccable in her attention to detail and very responsive (almost instantaneous). A consummate professional, she ensured our wedding dinner experience in The Club Room was exquisite and delightful in every day. What separated this place from the many outstanding 5-star NYC restaurants for us was that every staff member was personable, sincere and down-to-earth in addition to providing exceptional service and unparalleled food. We felt truly welcomed and invited to stay and enjoy our time there. The lamb chops melted in your mouth, the champagne was divine and and flowing and the chocolate dessert had outstanding depth of flavor. When our plans to do our first dances in Central Park changed the day of the wedding due to the weather, Majorelle seamlessly and graciously moved some furniture to make a space for us to dance. It made for an iconic and intimate moment, as if we were in someone's luxurious living room celebrating the start of our new lives together. My new French in-laws and my American family could not have imagined a more stunning place to toast to our special day, and the photos from the evening simply take our breath away. On top of all this, the entire place bursts with the scent of fresh flowers, which are massive and refreshed regularly throughout the hotel lobby and restaurant. It is nothing short of a dreamy floral timeless escape from the daily life of NYC. Thank you to Jekaterina and the entire Majorelle staff for enhancing the magic and beauty of our big day. We can't wait to come back again and again.

Fantastic ambience. Very elegant and sheik. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Prix fixe menu. Extensive wines menu and a fully stocked bar. I had Glen Morangie and a special cocktail. We had a fantastic salad and oysters from PEI to start. Our main dish was snapper with olives and a vegetable both an lobster risotto. The desert was peach Melba and berries in a grand marnier cream sauce. We finished with a coffee. Pricey but highly recommended.

Excellent customer service! Attentive and careful staff. Incredibly delicious plates. We had the 3-course menu. Every dish was so fresh and they do a great job on presentation of the plates. The interior is so beautiful! Perfect spot for a date night or just because. It is a bit expensive, but so worth it. Everything is well-thought in detail. My husband and I will be coming back. Highly recommend for a date night out or even just a good time.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent service, sublime food and an elegant ambiance. One of the best French restaurants in NYC or anywhere. Try the foie gras, lamb, escargot in pastry and everything else. A great wine list and warm and friendly servers who fulfill your every need. Wonderful!

What a wonderful break from NYC, enter through The Lowell Hotel, and into a portal to lux restaurant somewhere in Paris. Please come business casual at the minimum, but black tie evening wear would fit right in. The service here top notch, you can tell the staff are life time servers dedicated to their craft. Everything is delicious and well executed, but the duck and soufflé is on my must list! Something to note, like many upscale UES restaurants, the demographic of the diners are 99% not diverse. Might make some diners feel awkward 🥴

Went there during last December covid, got seated outdoor and was super cold that day. Got to see the beautiful restaurant when using bathroom, food was good, will probably come back for a indoor seating experience later.

Attention management! Please check on friendliness of the staff. The manger or whoever at the door is is really really rude and hates pets. I was passing by this restaurant with my dog and got a lot of attitude from the manager/runner ( tall skinny man 50+ years old looking)(3/21/22 9:30 pm) . I was curious about this place and wanted to see it’s closer without entering and he run outside and yelled at me saying that I have to cross the street and not to get close to the entrance. PS I never write reviews but this situation was way too much

We started with a few cocktails and absolutely loved the French 75! The amuse bouch was spectacular, the lemon parmigian risotto...superb, the halibut special.... simply amazing. The GM souffle was delicious but the chocolate souffle was very salty, they were gracious and offered something else and took it off the bill.

Very New York, very upscale, lovely venue, fantastic service and the food was excellent. We booked a month in advance as we were flying in from Florida and wanted somewhere local to where we were staying. The staff were professional and friendly, and we ordered the lobster risotto and the filet mignon. Bravo Chef!!! The food and presentation could not have been better.

In thr Lowell hotel. Food is exquisite. Went for our anniversary. Oysters were excellent and the main course of lamb and steak wad complemented perfectly by the Bordeaux wine. Dessert was not too sweet...wonderful example of French pastry elegance. Atmosphere is epitome of upper East Side with marble everywhere.

From entrance to exit we were impressed! It was our anniversary and we were in town for a few days. We decided to dine early on a Tuesday. Staff was extremely attentive and made our celebration even more special. Now for the food OMG!!! Everything was DEVINE! Amuse-Bouche was insanely flavorful. We had the Grilled Octopus & Burrata for starters. Octopus was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Burrata was creamy. Our entrees we had the Duck Breast with Porcini Mushrooms & Filet and finished with dessert the Soufflé with Grand Marnier Crème Anglaise. My husband is a Chef so when we dine out it has to be top notch for him to be impressed and we were both extremely happy with our dining experience. We recommend them 1000% and will definitely return next time we’re in NY.

Fine dining, French all the way. Dover sole magnificent, lamb chops cooked perfectly. I'm a sucker for Baba Au Rhum, did not disappoint.

I used to like this place, I’ve celebrated so many birthdays of mine and of my family members here, but today was really the worst. Today we came to Majorelle to celebrate Thanksgiving and were very disappointed and upset for the reasons below: 1. The servers had weird attitudes and would behave in a strange way. 2. The servers pushed my chair about 10-15 times. 3. I ordered stripped black bass and it smelled terrible, I asked to take it away (my mom did the same). 4. I ordered a salad with blue cheese, pear and walnuts, but it was just not good, very plain. 5. I ordered the same dessert I used to order (the soufflé), but it was not good either. My mom’s dessert (the pecan pie) was soulless as well. 6. I also had lobster ravioli and it tasted as if it was right from a Whole Foods shelves. Cheap. Very disappointed. And all this “pleasure” for $1,500.

Dinner is served at a $110 three-course prix-fixe (but there is a small complementary appetizer - some sort of soup.) From the appetizers, “Foie Gras au Sauternes” was my favorite. It’s totally worth the 💵! The moment you walk into the restaurant, you notice the decorations with real flowers (smells really nice 🌸!!) Highly recommend this place to those who want a fancy dinner with friends or a date!

With a limited eating menu and wide alcohol menu you shouldn't sleep on this fine French restaurant. The Fois Gras cuts like butter, the chocolate mouse feels like a cloud and the sauces are sublime accents. The meat is always perfectly cooked to a beautiful medium rare (for the appropriate cuts). The desserts are complex, yet not too sweet. They also give you the choice between two or three courses. It would be a disservice to the restaurant and yourself not to choose the three courses.

Nice place to spend your time . The staff was excellent. Very welcoming and accommodating. Restaurant is very beautiful. Definitely up scale not your average. For a $260 , two course meal , you should definitely get one more lamb chop ( only give you two ). The lamb was good but definitely should be at least three , especially for the price point. ( The st.Regis you get three for way less $$$$) I still will happily come back because it was such a nice experience.

Elegant and natural floral ambience. Top service Food great. Beef tenderloin amazing and lobster risoto really espectacular. Not getting 5 start because escargots were ok as the fried ball was not as crunchy you my want

Absolutely beautiful interior, the food was amazing, it's a prix fix menu. Formal attire is highly recommended. The bar has an extensive liquor selection, my only complaint is that when I ordered a pisco sour it was not made correctly with egg whites or without ice.

The Private Events team at Majorelle is a class act that is warm and accommodating. They provided a world class level of attention and service throughout the planning process as well as during my wedding dinner. The food and service was truly impeccable from start to finish. This is a true gem and I am looking forward to spending many special occasions here. Thank you to Kate, Guillaume, Manuel, Boris and other team members, I am forever grateful for how special you made our day.

Beautiful Restaurant, friendly and accommodating staff. We were especially looking forward to the food which disappointed tremendously. Flavorless Overcooked duck breast, salad was a disgrace for the price we paid for 2 people and I could go on... Compliments to Service but a huge misfire food wise. A fine dining restaurant it is not.

A beautiful and elegant traditional French restaurant with great service. The sort of dining experience that feels like a mini vacation. The food was lovely.
