The Ned Nomad is a HARD PASS for me. I guess if you are a member of The Ned then your experience might be different but since I am just a Soho House member you can't enjoy or even see any of the cool common spaces in the hotel. I am shocked that as a hotel guest I can't even see these spaces. So at the hotel you have your room and then a Cecconi's on the street level that still needs time to work out the kinks as does the hotel. If you are a Soho House member stick to a Soho House hotel cause your membership here doesn't get you anything here. I was so excited about trying out a new place and everyone has been asking me how it is... and sadly I have to say Skip It.

The space is beautiful! Don't go by the hater who is simply mad that they don't have access to the space. Its the grown and sexy version of Soho House (and yes I'm a member to both,). Cheers!

Poor experience from the moment we walked into The Ned as visiting members for the day from Soho House so we could check out the new space. Manager of Membership Services was very rude not just to us but to other visiting members we did not know as well as staff of the Ned. We will not be returning. Good luck

Hardware is good. Beautiful building and decor inside. But staff are not friendly at all, even cold and on the verge of being snobs. The vibe is very uncomfortable.

Overall OK / average experience, particularly given the price. As others have noted, you can certainly tell that the members club is the priority of the staff / building, not the hotel. The room was spacious and well stocked with product, but many other expectations of a 4/5 star hotel were off the mark: Complementary Nespresso machine brought to the room was broken, complementary newspaper offered at check-in was never actually provided (neither of the 2 days), housekeeping had not cleaned the room by 4 pm one day (even after being out from 930 am that day), minimal help with bags or getting a taxi in the far too small lobby, and limited amenities as they are mostly reserved for the private club. Better, cheaper drinks available at the Ritz just across the street. Additionally, despite being on the 11th floor, the music and bass from the club (which non-member hotel guests are not allowed to enter) could be heard until 3 am....not exactly what you're looking for from a luxury hotel. I will be booking elsewhere in the future and would recommend others do the same!

Hotel guest (non member) here - reviewing the hotel experience absent any “member” perks. All around amazing experience and staff is really friendly and helpful. Yes some spaces are “off limits” to non-members but (unlike other reviewers) I felt like the staff was super nice about it. Yes the “members only” room off the lobby is pretty in-your-face (next to elevators) almost forcing a hotel guest to be told they are “not a member” and be reminded “Little Ned us out of the hotel around the corner” - but isn’t that kind of the point of a members club? I’m cool with that. Shine on anointed NEDs! My room is on the larger side and has hardwood floors with real wool area rug so the room feels like a little prewar apartment. Great bedding, pillows, mattress firmness. Reminds me of Bowery Hotel vibes. Bathrooms are a C- for size/counter space but A+ for Cow Shed large bottle product assortment (4 body wash choices, 3 shampoo and conditioner choices, plus scrub, plus shampoo+conditioner option). Feels like home LoL. Demerit points for bathroom SIZE (tiny in my room and shower room is separate from toilet - not sure if other rooms are different) Demerit points for the closets not fitting my larger suitcase (carry on size only) but isn’t that my fault? Why do I need so many shoes and my water flosser? Overall A+. Also, YES the hotel has a gym on the 4th floor (don’t worry you don’t need to be a NED member; access with room key) It’s not equinox but for a prewar hotel in NYC it’s awesome. If you want more, go to equinox or whatever. Overall I think this members club hotel hybrid concept strikes the right balance of access and non-access. As a standalone hotel with “only” hotel guest access, even with a pretty high room rate the hotel is an A+. Most importantly the staff is super nice (in my experience at least) about the member/non-member thing and makes a “just hotel guest” like me feel welcome and comfortable.

If you are looking for a hotel where vintage class and modern sophistication collide with top notch service, this place is for you. My wife and I stayed in a beautiful suite for three nights and loved every moment. I've stayed at The Ned London and loved it there as well - but I think I prefer the intimacy of Ned Nomad in NYC. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hotel staff not friendly, not hospitable. I did not get turn down service last night even after requesting it from operator before leaving to dinner. There was a complementary wine that was placed in the room upon check in but the bottle was taken away on the third night unopened. Doormen were rude. Two hotel staff members weren’t sure if there was a spa on premises, both had to put me on hold to check. Room is outdated. Lights also come on/off randomly, one night I woke up at 5 am 𝒜𝒮 all the lights turned on. Unfortunate that the quality has deteriorated as I have stayed here before. Nothing compared to Ned London and Ned Doha, by far very different standard. Keep your expectations low.

Lovely, boutiquey hotel on Broadway. The rooms have a cool, burlesque style to them. Lovely bath amenities from Soho House's own Cowshed. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my time here! The service is wonderful and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Just beware if you order room service as there are a bunch of additional charges that aren’t on the menu. For example, they charge you for the tray, which I thought was weird. On the upside, there are a bunch of nice products in the room. The location is convenient if you want to walk to the Empire State Building and Times Square. There are also great restaurants nearby.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was perfect - the bed was so comfortable, the amenities were brilliant and so quiet despite being on broadway. The live jazz on Friday was so much fun. Great service at the reception. Beautiful decor everywhere (very similar to the Ned in London). The rooftop was gorgeous! Thank you.

Comfortable stay despite the Club being closed, but understandable given the Halloween party that was planned. Thankful I was informed ahead of arrival. Everyone I interacted with was friendly & the Negroni Happy Hour is legit! Thank you for the warm welcome, Melissa.

Beautiful hotel with great vibes. Extremly well managed and excellent service quality. Ideally located in a beautiful historic building - very central. Also great food at Cecconi's Restaurant for breafast and dinner.

We didn't stay overnight at the hotel but went to visit the bar and had a great time. If you're looking for a swank bar with great bartenders and busy, crowded, people-watching scene then head down to the first floor bar and enjoy. Grab a drink from the menu or ask the bartenders to create you something unique. On a weekend night, expect to push your way through a crowded room and enjoy the people-watching.

Our very unexpected 1 night stay was the only highlight and salvaged our otherwise horrific travel day. We booked at the airport and came straight there around midnight. Raf at the front desk was very welcoming and got us straight to our room. The night manager, David, helped us with a late checkout (so we could sleep) and by upgrading us as he could probably see the dejection and frustration on our faces. He also very generously sent up a bottle of wine for us! Mario, who worked out front, brought the us the wine and listened to our travel woes and was so kind to us. We hadn’t had a meal in almost 24 hrs so we ordered room service and Elliott cheerily brought us what was the absolute best room service we have ever had! After the meal and wine we slept happily and deeply before we sadly had to checkout. We come to NYC often and will definitely come back and tell our friends! Thank you so much for such a great experience!

Wow. I left this place speechless. Havent experienced such good and professional service in a long time (since Covid started) in NYC. From the minute we sat, till we finished our dinner the service was excellent. We started off with few drinks and bread. OHMYGOD the bread! And the butter! Insanely delicious, especially the pretzel bread. It was warm, it was soft, it was fresh, it was everything your taste buds can desire of. Butter - creamy, salty, flavorful, almost ice cream effect butter. Then shrimp cocktail and crab cake arrived. Shrimp was as fresh as it can get. Crab cake was a bit too salty for my taste. For entrees we ordered salmon and chicken Kiev style. For the record it wasnt original Kiev style chicken cutlet lol.l and it was ok. But salmon dish was unreal. It was perfectly cooked, very delicious, soft, oily and what not. Overall loved our experience here.

The bar area is really cool with multiple rooms. However it can also get extremely, almost night club, crowded. Despite this the service is actually very good. They have great drinks whether you want to order a cocktail or a scotch. Make sure to try their ‘fishbowl’ if you’re with a group of people.

Great spot, chic, clean, good amenities. Nice gym. It reminds me of my stays at Soho House but aesthetics are a little more subdued. Still beautiful

We were staying there in Feb 2024 for 4 days. I'm a classically trained pianist, I need to practice for the exams and concerts I’m accompanying. I chose the hotel because they a have piano on their site. I travel a lot and normally I don’t have any problems practicing the hotels pianos during quiet hours for an hour or so. In this hotel they didn’t let me touch their piano without giving any valid explanation: “We will not be able to grant access to use the piano in our Magic room”. “The event team have informed me that you cannot use the piano in the Magic room” The piano room in the hotel most of the time was empty. I checked the room several times after going to the gym at 10 am and later in afternoon at 3ish pm. There were no one there… I am still in correspondence with an assistant manager, it was such a bad experience. He ignores my emails because we checked out. This hotel is top class for rejecting their guest’s needs. They simply don't care about you.

I stayed for four nights at The Ned Nomad and this hotel has beautiful rooms & wonderful lounge bars. The bed is so comfortable! I really loved their live Jazz performances and the fabulous cocktails. The front desk and conceirge staff were very attentive and helpful. The cleaning ladies and doormen were kind. And the location is super convenient. The only downside is that the window couldn’t block all the noise from outside. It was still ok for me but maybe not for the sensitive people

The Ned NoMad exceeded our expectations—a mindful haven in the heart of Manhattan. They graciously accommodated an early check-in and securely stored our luggage. The lounge prices were reasonable, and the staff's exceptional service truly made our stay unforgettable.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, amazing rooms. The rooftop is one of the best I’ve seen in NY, feels like Europe. So many cool cocktail lounges. Service is some of the best I’ve seen, everyone is super friendly. Great cocktail program.

Gorgeous decor as soon as you walk in. Easy check in and great atmosphere. The room was elegantly decorated and perfectly sized. Couldn’t pay me a million dollars to get out of the bath. I’m sure I was in there for a total of 24 hours. Staff will go above and beyond to help you out and the linens were sooo comfy. Amazing location, diverse staff too!!

Over all simply the best location and service in all of NYC. The hotel is always clean, the service are delightful and respectful also the location is unmatched. The restaurant Cecconis has absolutely the most delicious and eye opening Italian cuisine. A must visit!

We arrived, very nice people at the reception. But we went to our room and the refrigerator wasn’t working so we picked up the phone and the phone wasn’t working...then we called them to come fix the phone & refrigerator and no one came during our stay to fix it. Then during the night our air vent in the room was making the loudest noise ever that we couldn’t sleep the whole night. But couldn’t call because our phone didn’t work.. then decided to take a shower in the morning just to be disappointed again by guess what ? Having no body wash or shampoo/conditioner in the bottles placed in the shower. Very frustrating!! All the way from South Africa and not a good stay or impression.

This hotel is an absolute dream. Everyone that works here is so lovely. Everything is incredibly thoughtful. The rooms are beautiful. We’re truly looking forward to staying here for future trips to the city!

My favorite hotel in New York. The rooms are spacious for New York with views of the Empire State Building. The restaurant (rooftop at the moment) is fantastic and they also were able to accommodate us when we wanted to have some drinks on the terrace after dinner elsewhere. I just love this hotel.

Beautifully appointed rooms. They are a little dark, needs more lighting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is excellent and the library bar in the back of the restaurant is a happening place at night. We had coffee and breakfast in the library beside the live Christmas tree...it was perfect! Pleasant staff and very accommodating.

My bartender James was so helpful! He knew so much about each cocktail and helped me choose one based on my preferences. I will absolutely be returning to The Ned next time I need to stay in New York!

Our new favorite hotel :) Absolutely perfect rooms and service. Immaculately clean hotel with lots of fun guests, and tucked in a quiet neighborhood but you can walk to so much in just a few minutes. Excellent experience!!

A surprise staycation for my birthday turned into one of the most pleasant New York experiences. From start to finish we were taken care of by Mark. From local recommendations to thoughtful touches like a bottle of champagne sent to our room. A big thank you to Mark and the team at The Ned. We will see you soon.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Larger hotel but quaint boutique service. Nice accents in rooms and great touches. We partied here for 2 nights, room service and bottle service was exceptional. The staff at front desk and soho reservation desk were also amazing. Ask to see if MJ Songstress is performing - she's needs to be discovered and the band behind her ROCKS.

ong overdue review, but well deserved. We had our first, much needed staycation a few months after the shutdown. It was during Christmas time after a long year of uncertainty especially since we both worked in healthcare. The staff were patient and attentive in answering our questions regarding Covid protocols. The accommodations, dinner service and views were refreshing. The hotel decor is austere and sophiscated, a time capsule where we were finally able to relax. Thank you for the memories and being open to NYers when no tourists were traveling in at the time.

Beautifully decorated hotel with great music although some minor things that need to be addressed. For starters we were waiting in the lobby and there was no sidewalk vestibule enclosure so every time the front door opened the lobby was freezing. Also, the lounge on the first floor closed early even though we were told it usually stays open til 3am.

Came here with my husband for a date night. The atmosphere/decor is beautiful, with great seating. The cocktail I had (Nod to Nothing) was amazing- lemony and refreshing- and our meal was perfect. We got the artichoke and corn appetizers to share and I got the beef entree and my husband got the duck. The service is incredible and we had a great time. It costs a pretty penny but it's fine dining.

Such an incredibly COVID-clean and friendly hotel. The rooms were super clean, there's a 50% occupancy rule and ensures 24hr lapse time between guests within each room. Was able to book the Nomad hotel rooftop for a lovely breakfast (also offers dinner - but already had a res to another restaurant). Elevators are ventilated and did not see any guests during my stay; would highly recommend staying for anyone!

Truly love the vibe at The Nomad. The food, drink and service are superb. For dinner, no matter how bored you are of fowl, do not miss the chicken with truffles for two. Incredible. For lunch, the salads, scallops and the chicken burger are terrific. Mixed drinks are delightfully inventive and delicious. The wait staff are pros. They are interested in you, but will leave you alone if that's what you would like. The setting is perfect -- the bar, the library and the 3 dining rooms -- feel like extravagant drawing rooms. I come here often, and totally, completely appreciate it. (Yes, I'm gushing on this place. If you read my other reviews you will see I call it like I see it!)
