Sketchy payment system & management. Charges guests’ card $1500+ ‘by mistake’. Location is amazing, rooftop has a nice view and that’s pretty much the only positives. We made a reservation through a third party booking site and paid everything in advance, but the hotel charged my card $897 ‘by mistake’ and cancelled it upon us asking about it. This was sketchy already but whatever. Then they put $250 on hold for incidentals, which was expected and was fine, but they charged an additional $397 in the middle of the night??? When we inquired the front desk about it, they said the $397 is the amount the hotel ‘expects us to spend’ during our stay… we only stayed there for ONE NIGHT. They said this was only a hold, and there was nothing they could do about it because it was a ‘random selection by the system’. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that does this. Few days later, I found out that there was a charge of $647 to my card, and it turns out it was ANOTHER ‘mistake’ from the hotel???? I asked the hotel manager to delete my card from the system, but at this point I’m not even sure I can trust they did. Room & hotel quality doesn’t compensate for the disturbing & sketchy experience we had. Hotel management needs to do a better job.

The star is for the view. The view from this place truly is something to write home about. Otherwise this place has been one big disappointment. The service was lousy, the rooftop bar was either closed for private events or closed down by unfriendly personnel by 9.30pm. Our window was broken and the ac didn’t work - many polite requests to fix it later still nobody seemed to care. This place charges 5* prices for 3* service at best. The rooms are furnished in a wannabe sustainable minimalist spirit which renders the interior design bulky and mostly useless - large parts of the hotel seem like a strange designer‘s wet dream where function comes way way second to looks. Would all be okay if it wasn’t so god damn expensive. On the plus side, the bell boys were exceptionally nice and the view. The view is great.

This hotel is very beautiful, well designed with beautiful combinations of Hard concrete, steel , wood and natural accents of plants. Enjoyed the visual aspect of it. The rooms are also very thoughtfully designed with a lot of beautiful and elegant touches. Staff was friendly and pleasant, highly recommend staying here very cozy design and sexy lighting through out. I had a great room with an incredible view of the Brooklyn Bridge, unfortunately the 7AM construction crew on the adjacent lot woke me up from my late night drunken adventures which really mushed my plans to sleep in and get a bit of rest away from home. I wish I would have been informed of that upon check-in then I could have requested a room with a worse view but quieter.

The rooftop bar is super fancy but super unfriendly too. Employees were arrogant and not welcoming at all. I wasn’t allowed to take a picture at an EMPTY seating area because “that’s only for reservations”. No one was there, I wouldn’t have disturbed anyone, the security guy still wouldn’t let me go there for one second to take a picture after paying nearly 400€ per night for a room, what is that? Next negative experience were the bartenders. They gave us the wrong cocktail claiming we ordered it and still had to pay for a drink we didn’t want. The suspicious drink they gave us was not even mentioned in the menu and I paid 54$ for drinks I didn’t want, when I “only” gave a 5$ tip after that, not to mention for self service, I got a dirty look from the bar guy on top. Is that how you treat paying customers in a luxury hotel? I don’t think so. If you want to pay 300-400$ per night for getting treated with the most arrogant attitude ever seen, you’ll be very happy here. For me it’s a no no, I went to another hotel after that horrible experience and I advise everyone else not to book this place.

This is an updated review. The first time my husband and I came here, we enjoyed ourselves very much and didn't hesitate to book a second time. However, this will be our last time staying at this hotel. My husband booked a room that had a guaranteed view on a higher level. We got there and were told that we were being "upgraded" to a room that had a balcony. This was clearly no upgrade. We arrived and saw some dry fruit platter that said congratulations, and champagne that was sitting out way too long because all the ice in the bucket was melted. It is clear that this so-called "upgrade" was them moving us to a much worse room because the couple who was supposed to stay there didn't show or wasn't pleased with the accommodations. When we called to see if we could get the room we originally wanted, we were told that the guarantee that is stated on the website really isn't a guarantee, it is based on availability. Why did we pay extra for a view then? The room that was the supposed upgrade was horrible. The balcony was shared and on a low floor, there was a dead bird out there, and to top it off we saw a mouse running around. It is clear that no one had been out there to clean in a long while. The little round piece of wood that they gave us for the elevator never worked and was a huge nuisance when trying to get around. The rooftop bar was laughable, no music and we couldn't sit by the pool or at any tables. The restaurant is no better. Food is not good and way overpriced. Even though we were guests are staying at this hotel, we still had to pay the outrageous per person minimum to eat there. Overall, this hotel and it's restaurant/rooftop are overpriced and we were not provided the customer service that would be expected at such an expensive establishment.

I had called about a month before to let this location know that I was staying for a special occasion to celebrate my wedding happening earlier that day. My special request was to have a room higher floor with a great view. During the check-in process, there was no acknowledgment of my special request, no congratulations. I was given a suite on the third floor, no offer to take my bag to my room. We got to our room expecting that if there was no high floor, there would at least be a nice message or acknowledgement about our special day. There was nothing. I booked this hotel and paid for a suite to celebrate my wedding and this hotel totally missed the mark on service especially when you are paying for a premium.

Solid three star hotel. If I managed the hotel, I'd focus less on trying to be hip and cool and more on service. The front desk person lied when she said she would get us a higher floor, and didn't. They lied when they said they would accommodate an early check-in. This is solid three star hotel moves. And trust me, skip the lobby avocado toast. I'd also drop the "brother" greetings from staff. As a African American, there is nothing more disturbing to me than being greeted by the "brother" reference when I'm paying these type of prices and old enough to be your granddaddy.

The location and views are second to none, but that wasn’t enough to cover up glaring flaws. The rooms are noisy and without privacy. You can hear every word spoken from the neighbors you share a door with, or from anyone in the hallway. You have to imagine they hear you too. The rooftop music permeates down until 1am, followed by shuffling of chairs and tables until 3am. Then the housekeepers start early in the morning, so true peace and quiet is hard to come by. When the sun shone through the windows, we could see handprints from children who previously stayed in the room. The surface below the TV felt sticky to the touch. Makes you wonder what else wasn’t properly cleaned. Quality of the food is less than what you’d expect. Service in general is just not in the culture here, whether you’re at the front desk or at Harriet’s. Overall, it was a disappointing stay. We were really excited about this place, but would not stay here again.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge could be an average 3 star hotel. Really wondering how they got 5 star. The only good thing is the rooftop view. And that's all. I arrived there without a reservation and asked the front desk if they had an available room. Getting an answer "no" I decided to check it online before I leave. Which I was able to get a room online. I wish I couldn't... Went to my room. Toilet flush started running continuously. Someone came to fix it, but in fact it did the same thing afterwards. I went to the pool and there was a quiet big queue. I asked the employee if they could text me when my turn is up. She said yes and took my phone number and I went to my room. Guess what? I never received that text. I went to have dinner in the lounge downstairs. The waitress forgot my kid's order, and then said the kitchen was closed. The worst part was when you can not sleep properly, because there was a noise in the room like pipes touching to each other and vibrate after each couple of minutes. Not sure where that noise came from, but felt like pipes were in the room under the hidden ceiling. Lastly I waited 30 minutes outside after the check out but no valet was there. I had to go to the garage to get my car. You'll need another vacation after staying at this hotel.

The room is very small, and the rooftop pool, which everyone might have expected, is very small too. The rooftop is just a normal rooftop compared to so many nice rooftops in the city. I paid to upgrade the room for a nice view, but the hotel never told me that there was a construction site next to us. They started to work at 9am and caused loud noises. The total comes up to about $700/night, $ 80 valet not included yet. and i feel like it is a $100/night experience

Won’t be recommending this place to anyone again. Which is a shame because my husband and I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted a nice spot nearby to recommend to people. The location, needless to say, is unbeatable. The service is horrendous. When we got married this past weekend (also in the area) we stayed at the 1 for a few days as a mini moon. They were told when we booked the room and when my husband checked in that afternoon that we were getting married that day. They did literally nothing for us. I’m not expecting a free suite upgrade and bottles of champagne but like maybe one would have been nice, or even a note, or even the bottle of rose that was supposed to come with our room anyway as part of an end of summer special they had going when we booked it. Zero. Then we turned off our privacy sign, came back into the room and nothing was cleaned so we texted them and they were like “your privacy sign was on” but we double checked again and it was not. Not to mention, the front desk staff were incredibly curt and borderline unfriendly when I came in from our wedding picnic in the park asking where the downstairs bathroom was. I get it, you have a lot of tourists wandering in who are not guests and it no doubt gets annoying. First of all, you should be nice to them too, but second what if it’s a guest who’s paying for your insanely expensive hotel rooms? I went to the 1 in Miami and the service was great so I think this is a location thing but they really need to step it up.

I'm a wedding filmmaker and I LOVE working at the 1 Hotel! I've filmed a few weddings here and my couples always love it. You can't beat the backdrop, the rooms are phenomenal (especially the suites) and it's easy to walk around the park for portraits. I can't wait to be back at 1 Hotel to film another wedding!

I recently stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn and had an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is located in a great spot, right on the edge of the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar, which offer stunning views of the city. I would highly recommend 1 Hotel Brooklyn to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Brooklyn. Here are some of the things that I liked about 1 Hotel Brooklyn: Location: The hotel is located in a great spot, right on the edge of the Brooklyn Bridge Park. This means that you are close to many popular attractions, such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Brooklyn Museum. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. They are also very quiet, which is important if you are looking for a relaxing stay. Staff: The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always happy to go the extra mile to make sure that you have a great stay. Rooftop pool and bar: The rooftop pool and bar are a great place to relax and enjoy the views of the city. They also have a great selection of food and drinks. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Brooklyn.

If you’re a photographer or a bride looking to book a room here for an amazing place to get ready and take photos, don’t do it unless you have 4,000 dollars. The hotel just started charging big money for a photography permit and has been threatening photographers in the area to take down any photos on their social media taken before this permit rule. Pretty gross considering the hotel gets a lot of business for this very reason and gets many free beautiful photos of their space. Lots of hotels in the area with a view like this, find a different one.

Unfortunately I’m still here as I’ve committed for three nights. Where to begin, first upon arrival I’m told our room is on a much lower floor than requested which I’m sure will mean it dies not offer the view (Liberty King) as advertised and charged for. When I ask about getting a room inns higher floor, I’m told they are full committed and unable to accommodate my request. I agree to go to the room but make it clear that if it is not what is expected, I would be back down. Guess what, it’s a corner room with almost zero view of the water and absolutely no view of the Statue of Liberty or skyline. The host goes to the manger and miraculously there is a room available on a higher floor. Problem resolved right, should be.? I try not to let the initial lie or inconvenience bother me and ruin our trip. I send out my clothes fir same day dry cleaning service and am told it will be back by 6 pm at the latest. It is now 7:39 and guess what no clothes. I’m now late for the function, lost my car that was transporting me and just getting the run around from the front desk. They charge almost $600 a night for this room and low level of customer service and competence. This place is a complete fraud. I’ve stayed at more inexpensive hotels and received better customer service. This is my second time staying here and I will not be back and I suggest others consider strongly before staying as well.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. We didn't stay in a room, just there for the day. Check out Harriet's Rooftop bar after 5pm, amazing views of Hudson, Statue of Liberty, and Manhattan! Had a drink at The Osprey Bar, go see the bartender Diego! Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

I paid for a guaranteed higher floor. When I arrived, front desk said he did not see it in my reservation and there was no more availability. I called reservations when I got into the room and they did in fact see I paid for a higher floor BUT then said it was only if they had rooms available upon arrival. Why even offer it? Was not happy . Bathroom sink had mold, shower water temp kept changing as I was showering. I reserved the bridge suite. Food was just ok, this was very disappointing. After seeing the chef over saw all the restaurants/menus I canceled my reservation to his restaurant. I was not going to take a chance to be disappointed once again especially with the pricing. The grounds are amazing and the roof top view is breath taking. The smell in the hotel is relaxing and refreshing. Loved, loved the smell!

My boyfriend and I planned to go to a Nets game and wanted to splurge on a nice hotel for one night. We chose 1hotel for their reputation and great location but we were quickly disappointed upon arrival. We arrived to the hotel 40 minutes before check in and was told we would receive a text message that the room was ready, which would be at their standard at 4pm. At 4:30pm, we still did NOT receive a text message. We approached the front desk again and got told the room was still not inspected. This signified that our stay was NOT deemed important to the front desk because we didn’t even get our room at the STANDARD time, as told by the first desk lady in a rude cadence when we approached the desk at 3:20pm. While waiting for our room in the lobby, a bellhop, David, approached my boyfriend to ask what we were waiting for. He made it apparent the only reason he approached us was due to our dogs becoming anxious, not that he truly wanted to help us get upstairs into our room. We waited another 30 minutes until we approached the desk again. They just handed us our keys finally at 5:15pm. The front desk and bellhops did not treat us with the same RESPECT as the couples before us. No one told us what floor, directed us to an elevator, told us how to use the elevator, or offered an apology for the delay. Not even a brief description of the services the hotel had to offer. Between the delay of getting our room and the clear difference in service, we will never chose to stay here again. To be treated different from the start of the stay is distasteful for any hotel with such high standards

The rooms where very small but the view was amazing. It was very different and progressive hotel with the gender neutral bathrooms as I was peeing next to some old ladies at one point. The rooftop bar was cool. Be advised the shower in the room is open concept so you can’t shower if you have guests over unless you’re into that sorta thing.

My boyfriend had booked a room four months in advance and had selected a late checkout of 4pm so we could enjoy the pool more. On the day of checking in, front desk confirmed that we would be able to check out 4pm on our last day. The day we checked out, I noticed that my key stopped working by 12pm. We went to front desk and they told us that there was no availability for 4pm checkout and that we needed to checkout immediately. Suddenly we were not relaxing - we were packing quickly in a rush. We talked to managers there at how unfair this was, and they said they would compensate by giving us a day pass to their pool for some other day. Well, no one has reached out and when we contacted them about it, no one replied back. And this is a hotel that is supposed to be 5 stars. This is a huge disappointment and worst example of customer support and satisfaction especially given how pricy these hotel rooms are. I understand these things happen but to not have the hotel follow up on their promises leaves a really bad impression. I thought this hotel was supposed to be one of the best in NYC, but as of now it’s one I will never recommend to anyone. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Classic example of a business only caring about money.

Everything about this hotel was a 10/10. The ambience, environment, and the design are just a few things to call out. The staff all over the hotel were also top notch. I literally think this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been too!! The rooftop views can’t be matched anywhere else. Nice access to walking paths directly from the hotel. Thank you to all the staff that made this stay a fantastic experience. Already booked my return!

We overall had a great experience. Attentive staff, lovely hotel and amazing views on the rooftop. Shay, our server for dinner was awesome. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The filter water on tap is such a great feature. I was concerned about our luggage given other reviews but it was fine! Slightly chaotic but no problems. My only major complaint is the unisex toilets in the common areas, they were very dirty, urine on the floor and seat every time. I’m all for this concept IF they are kept clean. Not pleasant and not what you expect of a hotel or this price / quality. Overall would stay again!

For a 5 star hotel, save your money on this one. The hotel has a cool interior but because of the open design of it, you can hear the water hammering and pipes in the walls making annoying and loud knocking noises all throughout the night, along with sounds of water dripping and faucets of nearby rooms being turned on and off. The bathroom is not private at all, instead everything echos from there. Also, you either get piping hot water or freezing cold water - no in between. Separate from that, I tried calling the hotel 5 times to get a copy of my receipt for transactions that were not mine, totaling almost $300. The representative was rude and unhelpful. I am still waiting to be refunded for one of the incorrect charges. Will not be staying at another 1 Hotel. Classic example of aesthetics do not equal quality. Side note (kind of funny) - there was a stone there for you to put any clothes on top of it that you would like to donate if you overpacked. Who's doing this? And let’s hang it up with the paper hangers - no pun intended.

I stayed at the hotel in 2018 and had a great experience, but I did not 10 days ago. First of all, before making my reservation, I called to ask about dining options and was never told the Osprey was closed Sunday evenings and the only dining option was room service. But I decided to go ahead and get a drink at the lounge and order room service. My drink was awful and I could not drink it but no one offered to remake it and I was rushed out. Then I ordered room service and the wine was forgotten so the guy said he would go back and bring it, he felt bad so he brought a bottle (but I just wanted a glass). Then he had trouble opening it and the cork cracked and went everywhere including in my food. He went back to get another bottle and said there would be no charge. I was then charged (but it was later removed) but my food had cork in it., On top of that the chicken was inedible. So basically my food was inedible because of the cork and bad chicken. Next, the room next to me was very loud with screaming children all night. I could not sleep at all, and it was not a relaxing experience. I reached out to provide feedback to the hotel and no one bothered to write back.

Was invited to an event hosted by a large plumbing supply company (OK FERGUSON, great people). The event space on the second floor is perfectly laid out for receptions. They also have a rooftop event space. The catering was superb. The staff very attentive but not intrusive. Decor is excellent. Hope to get invited again.

Absolutely wonderful staff and property! From the time I approached the front door until I checked out, everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The lobby was well appointed and comfortable and the view from my room was outstanding. Plus, the room was clean with in-room filtered water and a very comfortable bed. Additionally, the property is located near restaurants and a riverside park, allowing for easy access to local photo ops and activities. Will definitely stay again. Overall, 10/10 and highly recommend!

The claim that this is a luxury hotel is somewhat inflated. This is a nice hotel but at the posted price upwards of $600 this would not be worth it except for the location. The interior design of the rooms reflects in a lot of wasted space. Shower design follows the confusing trend of clear walls so you can see everything inside. The very nice view stops when you see that everyone else in other rooms can clearly see you so curtains must be kept shut for privacy. Additionally they should have a separate entrance for their rooftop, it’s annoying to be asked at the front desk if you’re a guest.

The rooms are pretty typical of a boutique hotel in New York City— the decor is a mix of natural and industrial designs. The view is really what you come here for— the bridge and the skyline are pretty spectacular. We were only at the hotel for about 12 hours after our wedding, but it was very comfortable. I’ve heard great things about the spa from coworkers who have also stayed there.

My stay this week was amazing at 1Hotel! The check in staff was very pleasant upon arrival, KG was so resourceful with local places to visit while in Brooklyn, the room had a spectacular view of the Brooklyn Bridge from the 7th floor, very clean, the shower gel was even amazing! The 1hotel staff was attentive to anything needed and/or requested, upon my departure Diego was very helpful until the last minute. Wonderful staff, wonderful hotel, oh might I add the aroma of hotel is amazing! I will definitely return.

I’m pretty surprised this is considered a 5-star hotel in New York City. While my stay was fine, it probably was not worth hundreds of dollars per night. I did have a view of the city. That was wonderful. However, the lights were confusing. Even at the brightest, it was too dark to do make up in the bathroom. The sink also did not have a temperature other than really hot or really cold. A lot of counter space was wasted because of a fake plant built into the countertop. I did not get to use the pool because it closes at 7 pm. That seems pretty early in the night to me especially for New York. Overall, everything looked and felt a little cheap in the rooms. A lot of reviews also mention that it is a great location. That is probably true if you plan to spend your time in Brooklyn. As I was in Manhattan for most of my trip, the location was not all that great for me. My stay overall was okay, but i was expecting great for the price I was paying to stay there.

You’re paying for the view here. It’s a fantastic hotel with a very Brooklyn — I guess specifically DUMBO — vibe with thoughtful design and a gorgeous rooftop view with plenty of good lounge seating, heated pool and bar with excellent dinner menu. The rooms are small as usual for New York City and valuable counter space is covered with a mound of moss. And dirt. I stayed in two different rooms and the bigger one made a huge difference. You really want a room with seating area to look at the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge. It’s quite stunning especially at sunset. Staff are all super chill, nice, and helpful. Giving it four stars because the walls are thin and you can hear too much of what’s going on next door. And the elevator buttons never work the first time. Also, great area to explore. We’ve lived in Manhattan for almost ten years and found it super exciting to come back many years later to discover a revived DUMBO as we had hoped to see one day — vibrant, hip, and tasteful!

The room and view was beautiful but the service from the hotel employees was so disappointing that I would never stay there again. We arrived to the hotel to check in but were unable to because the room was not ready so we asked if we can be at the rooftop waiting for our room and they informed us that the rooftop is only for checked in guest even though they already charged us the stay. We finally received the text that our room is ready. My boyfriend had ordered a wine bottle and chocolates as a surprise and the hotel employees were opening the room door as we were approaching our room. They ran in and out of the room and placed the stuff on the table which ruined the surprise. Following that the bottle that we received was not the one we had ordered. After that when we return at night to the hotel the front desk agent was on her phone not even watching who is coming into the hotel. We went to the bar and it took us 1 hour to get 2 drinks because the server was on the other side dancing. We had to go up to him to ask for our check. To top it off they charged us and refunded money about 5 times. Charging us different amounts on different cards. When we spoke to the front desk manager she just informed there was nothing she could do since they had already refunded the money, even though it wasn’t showing in our bank statements and got mad that we told her we got bad service from her front desk and hotel employees.

Great location Average Hotel. Didn’t eat at any of the venues on site due to below average google reviews. Everything about the hotel was just OK (rooms, gym, service, etc.) with the exception of the indoor rooftop bar (Harriet’s), the staff and service was great there. I would visit the Harriet’s lounge again. The hotel has potential but it’s not quite at a 4 or 5 star level.

A beautiful hotel. The aesthetic of this hotel was what captured my attention first as I walked in. The service and warmth of the staff was second. That’s what make it a HOTEL. The restaurant’s ambience and menu are divine in addition to the bar services. The view from the roof top of the 1 Hotel rivals no other. The Brooklyn Bridge can be clearly seen from the roof top of the hotel. It’s amazing and I wish it was a view I could see every night. I recommend this hotel for short stays or a quick bite by the restaurant or sip at the bar.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was put in a room with a lower Manhattan skyline view and it was great! The water filter in the room is a very neat idea, the service was great, did not need to wait at all to check-in/out. You can text message the lobby/concierge for any needs which is very convenient. Surrounding area is great, located in one of the best areas in Brooklyn. Rooftop view is a must! Should be noted there is some construction on the north side of the building, if you stay on that side during the week I heard there may be noise.

Stayed overnight in July. Arrived late from the west coast and opted for late check out at 4pm. Totally worth it because of jet lag. Service was amazing from the start. Their bell staff G was amazing and took care of our luggage and we were lucky to get him when we were leaving. Rooftop was amazing. The rooms were comfortable. The location is unbeatable we loved our stay. Look forward to returning.

My overall experience at 1 Hotel was good. The hotel was beautiful, and staff were very nice. My minor things that I would like to have improved is that my room phone did not work during my entire stay Every time we needed something or to order room service, we had to call the main number and we were transferred to the kitchen or housekeeping etc. Secondly, I noticed our bathroom was not 100% clean upon arrival. The sides of the mirror were dusty, and the actual mirror was dirty. The faucet handles had white toothpaste spots and the shower had a little hair stuck to the wall. The room lotion and soaps dispensers were dusty as well. I cleaned and wiped everything down myself. At brunch on Sunday my server was great, but I had someone's hair in my eggs. Manager came over apologized, replaced the meal and removed off the check. The hotel is very expensive just wish things could have been a little better. Staff is amazing and kind tho.

Location, location, location! This gem is perfectly located to enjoy the multitude of shopping, restaurants, cultural spots, and sightseeing waterfront Brooklyn has to offer. Über cool atmosphere with outdoor dining, indoor dining, a great lobby, and miles of natural beauty right out the back door. Brooklyn is where it’s at these days so plan on lots of time for exploring. A short walk to a short ferry ride takes you to downtown Manhattan and from there, another quick ferry to Governor’s Island. You could easily spend a week here, never get into a car or subway, and still not see everything.

I came here for a wedding, not a stay. It was a great wedding. The space for the service was in the lobby I think but there was no cross traffic. The reception was on the mezzanine, drinks were held on the veranda with an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge (as one would expect from the name). The drinks and food were great, the service very professional. Everything ran like clockwork. I would recommend this to anyone considering a no nonsense (but awesome) wedding in Brooklyn.

Stayed here and had an amazing time! Woman at the front desk was so helpful with all the accommodations I needed with my puppy! Nearby parks feel super safe even at night. Room was beautiful and felt like home. Cannot wait to come back!

We were only there one night, but we had a wonderful time. I didn't get the names of the two gentlemen at the front desk, but they checked us in the afternoon/evening of September 7th. They were polite, funny, and over-the-top helpful. Room 806 - that's all I'll say. Incredible. Rooftop dining/drinks were amazing. They have to have the best views in all of BK. We'll be back, without a doubt. Please let that front desk staff know how much we enjoyed ourselves and praise them for a job well done.

An Unforgettable Stay, Thanks to an Exceptional Hotel Manager! My recent stay at the 1Hotel Brooklyn Bridge was an absolute delight, and I owe it all to the incredible hotel manager, Mr. Anderson. This review is to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional assistance he provided, which made my experience truly unforgettable. After a chaotic day of travel, Mr. Anderson welcomed me with a warmth and sincerity that immediately put me at ease. His genuine care and dedication to providing top-tier customer service was evident in every interaction we had throughout my stay. During my visit, I encountered an unexpected travel hiccup that left me feeling stressed and uncertain. But Mr. Anderson went above and beyond the call of duty, handling the situation with grace and efficiency. His ability to navigate through challenges and find immediate solutions was truly remarkable, and I cannot thank him enough for his unwavering support. He transformed a simple hotel stay into a personal experience that exceeded all expectations. His genuine interest in making my stay truly special made me feel valued and appreciated, as if I was the most important guest in the hotel. The incredible views, the delicious food, and a staff that truly cares about the well-being of their customers makes 1Hotel Brooklyn, Bridge my future hotel of choice, whenever I am in New York City. Thank you again for an Too tier experience.

Stayed last time was in New York. Simple things like the outlets in the lobby are broken. 1 Hotel has an IT problem, system “reset” people were stuck out of their rooms, no one could check in. Folks crying in the lobby frustrated by their experience. Issue is pervasive, and spans states. Boss had a similar poor experience in Florida. People are kind and want to be helpful, system they rely on to do anything for you is broken. So their ability to help you is also broken. You will probably not be in the room purchased or promised. Everyone checking out wanted to talk to the manager. Skip the eye candy photos, find yourself a hotel that has themselves figured out.

Very trendy and environmentally friendly hotel. The rooms are lovely and they have a water refill station to eliminate the need for water bottles. The hotel staff are very helpful. The views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline are amazing from the hotel. During your stay at the hotel, feel free to check out Harriet's Rooftop which is the rooftop bar and the pool in which you will need to make a reservation. If you want to avoid the crowds for the pool, go during the morning hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Neighbors is a cute café in the hotel with amazing food. Please keep in mind Neighbors and Harriet's Rooftop will add a 20% gratuity towards your bill. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to my friends.

I recently stayed here and had a great experience overall. The hotel has beautiful views and an interesting vibe. Very rustic and bougie. The staff were super nice and helpful. I fell sick while staying there and one of the house keeping ladies got me tea for my sore throat which I truly appreciate. The only thing I didn’t like was how shallow the sink was LOL not a big issue but sometimes design gets in the way of functionality. I had food through room service and I totally recommend the chicken tenders. So crispy.. just yum!! Location is great and I didn’t have any problems with noise. I will mostly staying here again when I am in NY.

We chose this beautiful hotel for our wedding and it was nothing short of spectacular. Seeing as how it was our wedding, the staff upgraded us with some treats in the room. Check in and check out was a smooth process. The dining areas + rooftop are beautiful. The rooftop bar was unreal in its views, (although the food was pretty terrible). As we stayed during peak season, the pricing was $850/night, so I recommend perhaps looking at it off season because there are plenty of other beautiful rooftop views in nyc if you’re on a budget m. It’s pretty uncommon for us Brooklyn natives to be impressed by a new addition to Brooklyn, but 1 Hotel did the job.

Rooms: the room was quaint with a beautiful view. However, the AC did not work well at all and I felt like I was in a hot flash my entire stay Service: Staff was so kind. I met multiple employees during my stay and I have to say that Star and Yanni (and I believe Jason or Justin) really stood out as stellar employees. I rated service as a 4 because housekeeping threw away a $380 floral arrangement that I gifted to my bestfriend for her birthday. When I called down trying to find it I was told they would follow up and they didn’t, nor did they do anything to rectify the situation. I can’t believe housekeeping would take such a beautiful fresh arrangement when it wasn’t in the trash. That really put a dagger in my entire experience. The spa is absolutely horrible, and partially why I rated the hotel 3 instead of 4. Please do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. You would be better off at Massage Envy and they are terrible. Location: the location and view from our room was gorgeous 10/10. The rooftop pool is only 3-feet deep, but lovely to lounge in. F&B is a little basic so maybe try some restaurants in the area.

One of the best hotels I’ve been to! We booked the Bridge View King for a one night staycation and the view was amazing. Room was kinda small but it was clean. Lots of restaurants nearby and the park at the front was a plus. The location was also very convenient. We did not use the pool as it seemed very small. We did go to the rooftop during the morning to enjoy the view. Overall, our stay was nice. Would definitely go back next year.

I had a great time at 1 Brooklyn Bridge and was impressed by the quality as well as my room. The rooftop was stunning and had plenty of lounge space to take in the views. The pool was easy to be seated even without reservation. I highly recommend. Everything was perfect!

Rough start in beginning, but the staff and hotel’s level of commitment to quality of service made up for everything. The view from the room was definitely magnificent, and the food at rooftop restaurant was also quite impressive. The water tap in the room was a really nice feature, way better than bottled water.

Where do I even begin! What a pleasant stay, from start to finish. The moment we walked in we were treated with such great customer service, attentiveness and value. The extra mile everyone does, does NOT go unnoticed! From lobby to room service to rooftop, the vibes and views are impeccable. We will be coming again without a doubt! And a huge thank you to the friendly staff we met during our stay; Justin Korey Eric Beans James and last but not least, Coco with the space buns😍 We’ll see you soon! -The four girls from room 325💜

Everything was beautiful and attention detail on design was awesome. No reservation needed for pool if staying at hotel, and most of the food was great. A tad pricey on the food and drink side, but well done and great views on the rooftop. The elevators are the worst, however. Very slow going so plan for that as you navigate the hotel. All the staff was very accommodating and nice.

    Excellent stay and very comfortable beds! Great Location as it offers a magnificent view. Although, the stay was great, we did wish the hotel room offered locks on the bathrooms, especially when many folks are staying in the room. In addition, the elevators gave me a headache, the need for a key was outrageous! I didn't appreciate the fact that some elevators would work and some would not. Other than that, I would like to thank the great staff for they're kind manner-ship and hope to stay again. :}

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! Such an amazing view with the Brooklyn Bridge and city lit up at night! The rooftop is even better all this and you get to enjoy some well made drinks from the bar !! A must see place if your in the area! We came all the way from Vegas and had an awesome time! Thanks again and keep up the great customer service!

Gorgeous hotel with very polite and helpful staff. It felt like I was walking through a sequoia forest. Live moss plants in the room was a sweet touch and the robes were so warm. Remember to tip your bellman!

Beautiful hotel, all the people there make sure you are well taken care of. The rooms were very modern/chic. Loved our views of the East River and from a distance you could see the statue of liberty 🗽. It was right on the run/walk/bike path, making it very convenient to get my exercise each day. The concierge was very helpful and did a great job surprising my wife for our anniversary with some beautiful flowers.

This is literally my home away from home! I have very fond memories of this place! And I try to stay here at least one weekend During the summer. The rooftop is always bustling and there's a chill vibe in the hotel as a whole. The front desk staff is amazing, the cafe has extremely healthy options for things to snack on and quick meals. And if you order from the osprey you won't be disappointed. There is Valet parking at this location should you need it and you're literally walking distance from the water, the bridge and the park. If you book in advance you'll get a really good rate on the room and if you're a local they usually run good deals.

We were initially struck by the calming pine scent and how leafy the lobby is (big change from being in Manhattan). The staff are friendly and energetic, they went to the extra effort of making the interaction personal. We were equally wowed by the room itself, which has stunning, uninterrupted views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan. We loved all the little touches, we felt a lot of care went into the design of the room in terms of sustainability and utility. Only recommendation is an option to increase lighting! We will definitely be back and will visit one of your other locations.

Thanks to Miles for arranging a first time stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn. It was an awesome experience thanks to the special amenities to help celebrate my husband’s birthday and Manhattan Pride festivities. The room had a nice view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan without hearing the city’s liveliness from our room. The room itself was spacious and gives resort and spa vibes in a setting that blends the park’s greenery and the Brooklyn Bridge’s industrial structures in just the right way. I’d not just come back but also recommend.

Good experience overall and would recommend this hotel. Nice room, good location with the park, waterfront, restaurants, views and bridge. Staff were friendly enough but nothing amazing. Check in was my biggest complaint. I arrived early, check in was at three, I knew that. No rush was put in the room though and no communication. I had to check with desk at 3:05 and got my room after 3 hours of waiting. Ordered room service for dinner, food was ok but menu was a bit lacking. Room was nice and I like the design and the storage they've incorporated. Water bottle faucet right inside door was a great addition. The hot and cold faucets were reversed in my room, not sure if that's everyone or just a mistake. Best thing is the park, and waterfront. Great views of NY, lots of walking, huge grassy park, bridge view, can't beat it. Several restaurants just up the street.

Beautiful rooms with stunning views! They have a gorgeous pool and roof top bar and also a lovely coffee shop on the ground floor. A little far from the subway but the ferry is right there and brings you to downtown Manhattan in no time. And why leave.. everything you need to relax is right there in Dumbo and in Brooklyn Bridge Park!

Where do I even start!? This hotel is my favorite place to stay at EVER! I can't express the joy I feel when I walk into this hotel... it is STUNNING and the staff are such kind, welcoming people! Every time I'm in NYC I try to spend at least 1 night here because it is perfectly situated right on the water, surrounded by a park and with the most AMAZING views of Manhattan. For my birthday last year they upgraded my room to face the Brooklyn Bridge and I just about died... the rooms even have a full floor to ceiling window/door that opens up! If you're thinking about treating yourself to a nice place in Brooklyn, look no further! This is where you want to stay- walkable to everything, beautiful views, good food, easy uber/lyft pick up, etc. I love you 1 Hotel! Thank you for always making me feel at home during my travels :)

Aesthetically beautiful hotel & worth experiencing the design! — I enjoyed my stay here. A little disappointed by quality of service, considering the price point & 5 star status.

Extremely expensive. I know it's Brooklyn, but gratuity is included in everything. 6 oz magrita (3 of it is ice) $31.00 not cool. But food was delicious. Rooms are clean, a Lil small. Bathrooms are not really private. Make sure you are close with anyone you are sharing a room with. There are lots of fees on top of what was quoted over the phone.

Excellent service, prime location, great food (pricy but weird that people are complaining about a 35$ salad when you paid $700 per night) so very much expected and overall delicious. Love the architecture and interior design, the concrete and wood elements are perfectly balanced, luxury but serene. Came here with my boys before heading back out, the staff brought in complimentary cookies before their bedtime..much appreciate the small touch. Front desk was extremely helpful. Overall an excellent stay, cant wait to come back next time we’re in town.

Great bridge view from our room! The hotel location is great too with easy access to variety of restaurants and cafes. The room is very boutique and nicely designed. However I am very grateful with the friendly staff. We landed in New York at 4AM in the morning and they let us check in early to our room at 6AM so we can get some very needed rest. Thank you so much for the experience, highly recommended!

Shout out to Tori for going out of their way to accommodate my requests. Thanks again! Ps. Would love to see more food options for the roof.

Breathtaking views of the Brooklyn Bridge, perfect for sunsets. Drinks were decent, but service felt rushed and stressful. Empty glasses cleared quickly, slightly uncomfortable. Default 20% tip was off-putting. Still, enjoyed the stunning setting, a memorable spot to unwind and admire the city's skyline.
