We stayed here for 7 nights (myself and 2 sisters) everything was very well run. The staff were amazing, especially the breakfast staff. They were cheerful and helpful and made our start to the day a good one! Rooms were good and beds very comfortable. The hotel is in a central location which made our visit easier to get around. It actually snowed whilst we were in New York which made our stay all the more magical. Thank you all at the Hampton. 🤗

The location was perfect. Room was not bad. Bed was comfortable. Best thing I liked was they had access to lime infused drinking water and hot water 24/7. Kid had a sore throat, hot water came handy. One improvement- no shampoo or conditioner was there whole 5 days we were there. We asked to refill the container but it was just not provided.

We had a 4 Night stay in this location and it was perfect; the room was clean and just right for what we needed. The location is so close to Times Square and easy to get to.The only downside was the lifts as they were very busy at breakfast time, which was a pain when trying to get down from a high floor with your cases ready to check out. The lobby is comfortable with coffee on tap all day long and desk staff always willing to help. Without a doubt, the best part of the stay was the morning staff serving breakfast. They were very genuinely friendly and helpful. They seemed happy to be doing their job and made everyone that walked through the door feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely with everything we needed to keep us going on our adventures around New York. We would definitely return. Thank you x

Incredible location close to almost all the major subway lines. Easy access and can easily pop back into the hotel for a rest or to grab something while moving across town. Lots of great food locations nearby. Close to the Broadway shows. Easy access to Times Square Couldn’t have been happier with the staff. They were exceptional. Every time we needed something, with a quick text, would have fresh towels or extra pillows to our room. They were accommodating and made our family feel special upon arrival. They stored our bag safely for us so that we could enjoy an extra day in the city upon the day of arrival, when otherwise, we would have had our bags with us all day. Cannot speak highly enough about this location!

Stayed 4 nights and loved it! The staff members were really amazing. They very quickly helped me switch rooms when I had a petty issue with one of them, and immediately showed up when I called down for more towels and an extra blanket. It is a VERY busy lobby and breakfast was PACKED, but staff was always available and cheerful, even with meeting so many people's demands at once. Would definitely stay again. Pizza next door was delish, and we went twice to the Bagel to Sandwich place a street away because it was so so good! Hotel offered ride service, as well, as we checked out on our way back to the airport. Just slightly more than an Uber but a large SUV and very professional driver who showed up quickly and offered waters, etc.

If you are looking for a great location right in Time Square, then you will enjoy staying here. The location is great, the staff some of the nicest you will come across. The hotel has secure entry, you must have a hotel key to enter the hotel and to even use the elevators, which I really appreciated. Considering you are steps from Time Square. There is a free complimentary breakfast each morning. Oh and did I mention how nice the staff is. The Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square Central is absolutely at must stay when you are in New York City.

Excellent hotel, would highly recommend. From the amazing location, close to the Subway, Times Square, restaurants etc to the amazing, courteous staff I couldn't recommend this hotel more. Staff were always welcoming and available to answer any queries. Breakfast was a great choice of fresh waffles, 3 hot items, cereals, bakery options and usual drinks. A great complimentary buffet. Room was comfortable, exactly what we needed. All in all a great stay!

I have no complaints. The rooms and entire location was very clean. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure. Location is great!!! One thing I think could be improved is the lack of seating for the breakfast. We didn't eat the free breakfast any days we were there due to lack of seats available.

Took my son to NYC for the first time. Great location and safe! Very close to everything, yet not in the middle of all the noise. Our room was great and we loved the view each night of the skyline and Empire State Building. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good but chaotic due to size of kitchen area. Wish there were a variety for coffee cream! Overall, was a great stay! Highly recommend for families.

This trip was a gift to my daughter for her high school graduation, and NY was on her wish list so I really wanted everything to go well. I don’t have one single complaint about this property during our stay October 2023. We were able to check in while flying and assigned our room and digital keys so we went straight to our room upon arrival. Room was very comfortable, larger than many in NYC. Bathroom was nicely sized, clean and stocked with Everything we needed. The staff, every employee we interacted with was friendly and extremely helpful. How often are we truly 100 percent happy with a hotel, not too often. I can’t think of anything we didn’t care for. Highly recommend Hampton Inn Times Square

I selected this hotel based on it's great location, it's reasonable price, and the positive reviews that it has on the internet. I stayed there for a few nights in late August and I can happily confirm that this place gets a solid four out of five. The check-in was flawless, the room was clean, and staff were professional. Breakfast was served on time and with quality ingredients. There were a couple of small hiccups that resulted in taking one star off, but I'm happy with the service that I received and highly recommend this place.

Highly recommended! I don’t usually stay in Times Square when I visit New York but I’m glad I did this time and I’m glad I chose this hotel. Staff was incredibly nice, especially the team serving breakfast who went out of their way to check on us and be as kind as possible. The room was clean and a pretty good size, considering it’s New York. The location is also super convenient to two different subway stations/stops and a few minute walk to the center of the universe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Here are some pics from the 9th floor, facing north.

This was the perfect place to stay for our quick 4 day trip to the city! The staff were all incredibly friendly, especially Fatima during breakfast, she made us feel very welcomed and special, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was really nice with a comfy bed. The elevators were a bit congested at breakfast time, but not too bad. Perfect location for theatergoers like my wife and I. Quick access to the subway and an awesome 99 cent pizza place just a block away. I would definitely stay here again!

We came here for the long weekend in May, first time in NYC. After researching many places to stay and reading countless reviews, we decided on the Hampton Inn at Times Square (right around the corner, literally) on W 41st Street and couldn’t have been happier with our choice and stay. The hotel was at the perfect location for our weekend, clean, safe and welcoming for guests. The check-in with Fernando was seamless and the staff were all so kind and friendly. The rooms were just what we needed with a king size bed that’s extremely comfortable to relax and recharge. Full hot breakfast was included each morning for guests, it was always stocked and staff was so helpful - shoutout to Reza & Fatima who greeted us every morning to start our day and help us if we needed, highly appreciate the effort these folks put in! For our trip we prioritized: Location (for convenience and commuting, we don’t want to start and end our day with long journeys away from the city centre, We value our time and it was limited); Reputable brand that values guests so we can have a seamless vacation, plus I don’t want to deal with mystery charges on my CC and dealing with that aftermath that seems to be happening all over, gets messy and can be a headache; Cleanliness of the hotel and room and being a safe hotel for international visitor was extremely important for us. Plus the inclusion of hot breakfast (and coffee 24/7) sealed the deal. There was waiting for the elevator during peak times, could be up 10 minutes in the lobby waiting. The curtains are fully light blocking but a bit short for the windowsill - for an quick nap after check-in (we were at our home airport for 3AM and checked-into the hotel 12H later so it was needed) we had to roll towels and sweaters at the bottom of the windows to help with the light but it was the least of my concerns. We did diligent research before confirming our decision and are very happy. After it’s all said and done, we had a great vacation in NYC 10/10 and highly recommend this hotel and location. Thank you everyone!

When I checked in on Saturday, April 23rd in the evening, the two ladies at the front desk were by far friendly, professional and overall outstanding. This began my experience at this property on a good note, the check out was good as well and Joseph bellmen was so helpful. When we left our bags with him after checking out he informed me that they had ability to arrange car service to all 3 airports in NYC and I’d be ready when we return for our bags. As promised when we returned to retrieve our bags, a nice comfy SUV was out front waiting to take us to Newark. The rooms were well kept (a bit small) and good condition. Locations was perfect a lot of options within walking distance, plenty of choices for food, entertainment and transportation. It’s in the heart of Times Square.

Honest Rating! I stayed here during Halloween, the hotel was completely booked. I paid 1,200 for 4 nights. You are literally 100 steps away from Times Square. This is hands down the best value hotel.. The reviews complaining about the hotel are probably by people holding a 3 star hotel to the standards of a 4 or 5 star hotel. The hotel is exactly as advertised! It’s clean, updated, the staff is friendly, free breakfast, and I’ll mention again, 100 steps from Times Square!!! I don’t know what more one would expect. The breakfast is hot and fresh every morning, it gets crowded but that’s to be expected, go right at 7 am, the early bird gets the worm. The breakfast is cereal, bagels, waffles, eggs, toast, oatmeal, muffins, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, juices. There’s a rooftop deck, a pool, a busy but nice lobby. Room service won’t bother you unless you request it, I personally like that. The hotel was stocked with enough amenities we didn’t have to ask for much during the 4 nights 5 days. The hotel rooms are smaller and the hallways are narrower but again, that’s to be expected YOU’RE IN NYC 100 steps from TIMES SQUARE! I will stay again and recommend over and over again if the priority is staying in the middle of all the action.

We stayed here for four night's as part of our New York adventure. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to Times Square and the Subway. A really good base to explore the city. The booking in process was excellent, and the staff really friendly and helpful. The room was brilliant, really spacious, a comfortable bed, excellent shower facilities and air conditioning. Breakfast was great, an excellent variety from cereal to waffles. A good way to start the day. A storage system was in place for us on our last day, so our luggage was safe prior to a taxi being organised for our collection. Definitely look to stay in this hotel again.

I've stayed at Hampton Inn's many times and have always had a decent experience, but I would 100% AVOID going back to this location. When we checked out, we were told that because we had modified our reservation many days before the trip, we would be billed over $700 for one of the nights, which was only $400 on my booking confirmation. When questioned, we were told that the hotel can raise the rates as they see fit when the hotel is full. I've NEVER heard of this and the receptionist failed to share this when the modification was made. Not to mention when I went online to check the rate, it showed that the room should only be about $250. How many people are you ripping off by charging them random amounts and adding in taxes and fees that you aren't disclosing when the reservation is made online? Also, when we checked in the room smelled strongly of Marijuana, which was frustrating when you're traveling with little kids so we had to air out the room for a couple of hours. The rooms are dated and felt dirty. I would spend the extra money to go to any other hotel in the area next time. The only positive was the breakfast staff who were great.

Stop your search! Just book this hotel. The location, value, hospitality, comfort and convenience make this the perfect spot for a trip to Manhattan. This is by far the best hotel experience we've had staying in the city. You're right at Times Square, everything is close. Shows, restaurants and subway are blocks away. If you fly into Newark, you can book a Coach Newark Express round trip ticket for $30 and it drops you off a block from the hotel (much cheaper than the $100-120 uber each way). The bed is comfortable, the room is clean, ac/heat work well, elevators are fast and efficient. This is not the fanciest or most luxurious hotel, but its the best hotel for the price that I've ever stayed at in the city. Front desk staff is friendly and accommodating (and Eddie the bellhop/concierge will store your luggage if you arrive early...thanks Eddie!). You can look for hours trying to find the perfect spot, but let me save you the time. Just book the Hampton on 41st.

This was our first time staying at a hotel in Manhattan and I was quite happy with this hotel. The location is great and is right next to Times Square. Hotel looked modern and well maintained. Lobby was cool and had interesting decorations. The rooms were nice and we had a nice view. The bathroom was modern and clean. My one suggestion to the hotel is to increase the shower pressure (maybe change the shower heads?). It was not "low" or anything but could have more pressure. Other reviewers mentioned the tub draining slow. I had the same issue on day one, but on the second day I noticed there was a knob you could turn in the tub, and that controlled the drainage. Once I turned it, the drainage problem went away. The breakfast buffet was yummy - hot and cold options: potatoes, eggs, sausage/bacon, oatmeal, waffles (one thing, the waffles could have been softer and fluffier, hope the hotel checks on the waffle mix), coffee, bread and many more. One of the service ladies at breakfast was particularly pleasant and I was glad to see that. There is also a subway station literally on the same block, so it is very easy to take the subway. The hotel offers discounted parking at a nearby parking garage that is about a block away. If you use their recommend parking lot, it will save you some money. The people working there were generally nice. The check-in and check-out people were courteous and friendly. Good experience at this hotel! Recommended.

From check in to check out everything was amazing! ALL staff I encountered was kind and helpful! (Michael and another young lady at front very friendly, dont have her name) the breakfast lady (again unsure name) was incredibly friendly and always making sure all guests were happy and satisfied and always helped cleanup. She seriously needs recognition and a raise! Room was clean and I appreciated being able to open window a bit! Location was GREAT, close to action , food and fun within steps yet quiet and not rowdy being on side street! If I ever come back to NYC I will definitely stay here again! I am incredibly picky when I travel but I honestly had NO complaints with this hotel! Great job to management as obviously they have trained employees well! Thank you for my pleasant stay 🙂

Clean hotel. Friendly, accommodating front desk. Perfect location accessible by feet or by car. Several different restaurants within walking distance. My only slight dislike was my room size. It was enough space for 1 person. Suspect it would be cramp for 2 ppl w/king size bd. And the bland breakfast bar. Good thing I'm not a early AM breakfast person. Otherwise, nice hotel stay.

We had the most perfect stay! Hampton Times Square was exceptionally clean and beautiful, the staff was super friendly, our bed was VERY comfortable, and we received an amazing upgrade to our room! There were extremely nice toiletries and hair dryer included in the beautiful bathroom, the staff offered free toothbrushes when I left mine, they had a small concession stand for an umbrella, hair spray and sunscreen all which I needed... They even offered snacks and frozen meals for late night meals if you don't want to leave the hotel. I could go on and on about the convenience of this location, we felt very taken care of. The free breakfast was really appreciated, the hotel's location was amazing for visiting Times Square and seeing Broadway. My son and I had the best time and our hotel was a huge part of that! I heard the staff telling someone they offered airport shuttle service so I thought that was cool. They stowed all of our baggage after we checked out and spent the day seeing a Broadway and exploring museums. Our room was extremely quiet and we were not disturbed by other guests even though we were immediately in front of the elevator door. We also never heard the buses or sirens below us. The windows did a great job of sound proofing! The room had dresser drawers, a desk, tv, safe, wardrobe and compact side tables with charging ports. The room smelled immaculate and looked brand new. I wish the bed had a heavier blanket because I like to sleep in a cold room with heavy comforter but we were still completely comfortable. I don't have a single bad thing to say, we loved this hotel.

Rooms are clean, good breakfast options. Unfortunately, there’s construction on the upper floors of the hotel. I asked the front desk lady in the evening shift and she replied that their schedule could not be changed. They start before 8 am, and cannot wait until later in the morning, such as after 9 am. 😞

This was my first trip to NYC. This hotel was AMAZING! so clean, friendly and attentive - all while being affordable!! Front desk catered to any issue with a smile. Check out was at 11am and my flight didn't leave until 9pm, but they still let me keep my luggage there so I could spend the day walking the city without worry. Fresh, hot breakfast and great coffee. I'm already planning my next trip back to NYC and this WILL be the hotel I stay at again. The hotel was QUIET and I didn't hear anything from outside while I slept. The hotel was just around the block from time Square so super close to all the tourist stuff, and Joe's pizza of course! I felt like I stayed in a 5 star hotel with how professional they were. Thank you so much for a RELAXING trip!

Excellent hotel in a great location. The service was great, the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Concierge went out of his way to help. Location is great, very central and right across from the subway. I'm only taking a little off the rooms for the size, they are NY small and the carpet could use an update, but the beds were very comfortable. Check out Carnegie Pizza next door for the best slice!

Great location with not great service. I stayed here for my work and morning supposed to be good shower and get ready and go. But the washroom had lots of problems like sink was clogged. Flush was not working & for shower you have to wait for 10 mins to get the warm water you want( because it only gives you boiling hot water for a while) I was at the 1st floor. I was trying to catch a sleep but the reception thought to have a chat with someone loudly. A nightmare

Stayed there for a week. Good location, very close to times square but quiet. Very good service and so is the hot breakfast. Rooms are quite spacious and comfy. Two weeknes points; 1.no fridge 2.mattresses could be replaced (at least the ones we had). Still giving 5 stars.

I booked day use and the front office was very friendly and helpful. I must mentioned a name of the person Tyla Brown, just amazing person and very helpful. She helped to get the room on-time and given instructions to use the hotel. The room is very clean and neat with all accessories even for day use. I slept happily for four hours and checked out for waking tour. Must stay here.

GOOD points: Perfect position. Honest breakfast even if you risk to hardly find a place to sit. BAD points: neverending line for the elevator. room service for bed and towels never before 4 pm... VERY BAD point I forgot my jacket in the wardrobe room on the check out. The day after I called to see if someone from the service found it so to have it shipped back... unbelievably none found it and I had the impression that none really took some time to investigate on it. At least I am happy that maybe someone from the service may need that jacket for the winter, imagining the weekly not huge income they got...

Polite staff. Safe and has a great view depending on room choice. Bright surroundings and a snack corner downstairs along with desks and seating. Refer to options as to what you'd like your room to have. Not expensive for the area.

Go for the location, quiet rooms but note a few things. Positive things - 1. Location is awesome. You can roll out of bed and be in Times Square, Broadway as well as a lot of places in Midtown. 2. Basic but sufficient breakfast to start early. The breakfast staff are also awesome. 3. Rooms are quiet. We were next to elevator and on 9th floor but we never heard anything. So difficult to get rooms like this in big cities. Not so good things - 1. Our room heater wasn't working and oee of the kids caught cold. Thermostat would show the temperature we set it to but the air was cold. They fixed it after we told them the next day but we had a rough night. 2. Some things didn't work. Like the microwave in the breakfast area. And they not only didn't repair it the subsequent days, they didn't even remove it. How difficult is it to remove an appliance like a microwave. 3. Our toilet clogged after a couple of days and it took a couple of tries to get them to send the 'engineer' (their term) to the right room. And he clearly wasn't in a happy mood. Was very gruff and made a mess in the bathroom as well as the path leading out. He didn't say that he will send someone to clean as if that wasn't his job. No one came to clean even though we asked receptionist multiple times. Their response 'I will try'. 4. The most critical negative aspect for me is that there is no recycling option ANYWHERE in the facility. Everything goes into garbage. Are we in 1980s still? Come on.

I went through a 3rd party to book for two nights an they ended up charging my card $800 (double charged). Poor customer service. Not all that friendly. Rooms not that great. And don't clean if you just stay two days. And no valet parking in that huge city. We had to pay $90 for a parking garage two blocks away.

Wonderful staff. I hope Hilton gives them a bonus. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, a lot of options. Very clean. Bathroom was renovated and super clean. Area was great, close to many popular sights but on a quieter street.

Very good location and access to the train, the rooms are basic but very clean and organized, breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent from the reception to the kitchen staff (specially Jorge and another lady who I can’t remember her name) they were very welcoming and friendly. The check in/out process was easy and quick. Overall I would come back. Highly recommended

I usually don’t do reviews. I booked 2 rooms for Xmas weekend. Being a diamond member, I thought I could get at least one room before the official check in time. Politely requested the front desk since 12:30pm but only managed to get the rooms after 3pm. During this time, the front desk has been issuing room keys to other guests. It is obvious that the front desk and housekeeping are not talking to prioritize one of my rooms. I always like Hilton group hotels but I’m so disappointed with the service this time.

Good rate. Comfortable place. Great location for anyone doing stuff in midtown. I always like to stay west of Times Square because of all the great restaurants around 8th and 9th Avenues, so this was fine.

This location is the perfect affordable spot for any Broadway theatre-goers. It is no more than a 15 minute walk, most times 10 minutes to any theatre. Plenty of great restaurants in the area for all three meals. The hotel itself appeared to be recently remodeled and was the perfect size for a party of two. Everything from the bed to the bathroom was very clean. No dust build up, left over trash, random hairs or questionable stains. All staff were very friendly. Snack bar was affordable. Would stay at this location again.

This hotel is excellent! Great price for the location and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Jonathan at the front desk deserves a raise because he made our stay wonderful! We told him we had had a horrible experience at a different hotel before transferring here and he went above and beyond! He gave us cold water before we left, always had a smile on his face, and waited with us 45 min past his shift to make sure we got our taxi to the airport! The room was spacious, well lit and had a refrigerator. The next time I’m in this part of NYC again I will be staying here, thanks to the wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

Excellent location with subway nearby. Great service from the front desk. Superb breakfast that changed daily to keep it fresh. Server's and tables clearer were fantastic and hugely animated to make the environment friendly for all. Free hot drinks all day is an absolute delight. Small shop on site. Ice machines on some floors. Only let down is the lifts. There are only 3 lifts which can be small and extremely busy at peak times where you may have to resort to using the stairs.

I have stayed at various Hilton properties in the Times Square area over the years, and this one was the best! Greeted kindly upon arriving on a Friday afternoon early. As a diamond member, it isn’t often I get my room early, let alone in NYC. Breakfast was included and was perfect to get a little something in us for the long days we spent enjoying the city. Property was clean. Our room overlooked the Empire State Building on the 30th floor. Staff was friendly and helpful! Thanks for making our stay a memorable one!

We booked for one night for a show. Location was great, everything was within walking distance. I was initially worried based in the reviews calling out slow elevators, but we experienced no such issues, and we were on the top floor. Never a long wait, even when going down to a busy breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous, everyone that we interacted with during our stay..

  • 2/5 Sarah H. 2 years ago on Google
For the dollars spent, you will be better off booking a different hotel in the same area! **Revision** We are not your typical hard-to-please hotel guest! I left a detailed review via the emailed hotel survey. All of our issues were discussed at the front desk during our stay and fell on deaf ears. Not sure what else we could have done or how a phone call now will help? That said, NYC is AMAZING!

  • 2/5 Michelle L. 2 years ago on Google
The stars were the service at the front desk and breakfast. Absolutely AMAZING! Always helpful, respectful, and went above and beyond our 10+ days there during Christmas/ New Year. Unfortunately that's where the stars end. The hotel is 31 stories tall, they have 3 elevators. The cleaning staff use them so not only are you waiting on 31 floors of people, you may share a very small lift with carts, trash, laundry. And the elevators are built for covid times maybe 3 people. But since you wait sometimes 10 minutes to get a lift people cram in 6/10 people. The walls are thin, we heard cleaning staff in and out of the stairs/ elevator on days we slept in. Rooms are small but the bathrooms were recently renovated. That was nice. Carpeting in the main areas was out dated and dirty feeling. Beautiful views from the 29th floor.

Hotel is conveniently located near Times Square and other notable attractions. The facility is attractive and was clean. The staff were extremely personable and helpful. Plenty of amenities. Free breakfast was...free (you get what you pay for). Elevators were cramped and crowded. Positives outweigh negatives. Good value. We would stay there again.

We just checked out and I must say the service and greetings here were warmer than that of the 5 star hotel we stayed at the night prior. Yes, it was very busy and the elevators took longer than we'd like, however the service and atmosphere outlays that ten fold. The check in process was wonderful and they even provided us a goodie bag at arrival. Fatima who was running service at breakfast was a break out star. Her passion for what she does is really inspiring. What a beautiful personality she had. Please recognize her hard work and amazingly refreshing upbeat personality. We will definitely visit again.

Room was clean! No bed bugs, clean towels. Great location to walk to major landmarks, enjoy Broadway. The breakfast staff was superb. I will recommend this place to all looking for a clean, safe and friendly place to stay in the heart of Manhattan

This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect. It's an easy walk to Times Square and the subway stop it just on the corner. The staff is welcoming. The beds are comfortable. The view from the City View rooms is decent. The hotel stays locked and you have to have your key to get in and to access the elevator, so safety is never an issue.

It’s less expensive and the breakfast is free. The breakfast staff is energetic. Bell guy not so much. Breakfast when they open is better than later it’s chaos. Rooms are acceptable. I’m a gold member and there’s no real benefits To be had for loyalty. It’s just a decent price good location. More fresh healthy options for breakfast would be nice, but that would increase cost. The only real reason to return is price.

When you think of Hampton Inn, you think of a simple, clean hotel with free breakfast. You're not expecting anything amazing. This place is beyond amazing. The rooms are clean, and modern. Yes they are small but that's NYC. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was very good and plentiful. The hotel, in general, is very well kept and modern. The location is pretty much perfect for anything you want to visit. It is 1 block from a major subway station. It is walking distance to most theaters and Times Square is right around the corner. My only downside is the elevators. There are three, but during the morning checkout you can wait 5 or 10 minutes. The rest of the day is no problem.

*Overall great experience for a very fair price* (especially when you compare it to other hotels around). *The room* was wonderful, not too small, equipped with a wide-screen TV and very comfortable bed and shower. There isn't much of a view though (even from the 26th floor) given all of Manhattan's skyscrapers. *The location* is as good as it gets, 2-3 minutes walk from Times Square and only 1-2 minutes from the neares subway station. *The staff* were very nice and efficient, though you barely need to interact with them: the Hilton Honors app makes it extremely easy to check-in and out, and will answer most of the questions you have. *The breakfast* was decent and rich, more than you'll get in most American Hotels. It included breakfast cereal, coffee, personal-made waffles, eggs, potatoes, meat, yogurts, fruits, toasts and more, every morning. I only had two small problems: - In the afternoon hours (4-6 pm) it took a few minutes for the shower to have hot water. - The WIFI worked mostly great, but sometimes it required reconnection to make it work. Definitely would recommend the place for anyone who's visiting NY for the first time and wants to be as close as possible to the center of the city.

This hotel has a great location in the garment district and meets all of the standards we have come to expect from the Hampton Inn brand. The hotel and room were very clean and beds were comfy which is always a plus. I wish Hilton would change our their pillows because the feather ones they use just collapse and are so terrible for sleeping. A mini fridge would have been nice for drinks as well but we made do with ice so it wasn't a big issue. Overall, very satisfied with our room. The hotel is busy so getting an elevator in the mornings or a seat at breakfast was quite the challenge but it's not something that can really be corrected so it is what it is. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for two nights. In general, the staff was nice. The check in process was easy and fast. I’m giving a one star review because there was construction outside my room from 12 am to the early morning. They were drilling up the pavement. I got 3 hours of sleep… When I called the front desk for ear plugs and asked to change rooms the next day, no one apologised or gave any sort of explanation. Although I was able to change my room, this was incredibly unprofessional and uncaring. They charged me the full price for the room without any compensation. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Also, the room was also not cleaned very well, such as sticky handles and stained sink area. I really doubt the rooms were properly sanitised. I will be looking for other hotels in the future.

I absolutely love this hotel. I flew back too Houston a couple weeks ago, and to say the least this hotel is great! The rooms might be a little cramped for some people, but it’s New York! It’s in one of the best tourist locations, near the train, in Times Square with street food, and also the staff are on point! This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! I recommend it.
