The location of this hotel is really convenient if you’ve got a lot to do in Brooklyn. The rooms are large in size and comfortable. The hotel gym is also pretty big and has peloton bikes, treads, and dumbbells up to 50 lbs. There is also a pool and hot tub in this area. The rooms and common space at this location are pretty dated but it didn’t really bother me. The garage is self park and definitely exorbitantly priced. It’s roughly $60 daily to leave your car parked and does not include in and outs. You’re charged an hourly rate if you take your car out shy of 24 hrs. There is no valet available. There is security but the building is not very secure. Pretty much anybody can walk in or take the elevator up from the garage. Key cards are not required for elevator access. Expect the bare minimum when it comes to service. The only interaction you’ll have with people working there will likely be at check in. This location definitely relies heavily on the prestige of the Marriott brand but I didn’t feel that there was anything super special about it for the cost.

I round up, otherwise I would say it's about 3.5 stars. Hotel has a good location as you can walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, restaurants, and little neighborhoods around. A little more walking then you can get to the promenade and walk along the water. Rooms were average, but do NOT include a microwave and has a tiny fridge. The weirdest thing was on our floor they had a community microwave in the hall near the elevators, seemed odd, and there was NOT one on every floor. We reserved an accessible room with roll-in shower and they had it ready when we got there. Often the hotels will make your reservation for accessible room with roll-in shower and then we get there and they don't have it and give us another room like we won't notice. We needed a shower chair for my wife and the guy immediately got it for us. Downside was on Thursday night some of us came back to the hotel about 1130p-12a and bar was closed. Another day the gift shop lady was turning off lights and closing gate at 2pm even though sign in elevator said they were open until something like 8p or 10p. Also when we checked out but weren't leaving Brooklyn for a few hours the bellman held our luggage for us while we went to check out some things around the hotel to fill time.

If you read one review, read this one. As someone who’s travelled various times and been through countless hotels, this is by far the best one I’ve stayed at. From the accommodation to the amicable staff, this is my favorite place to stay and I’ve come back multiple times. It was super clean, the staff was attentive and they went out of their way to make you feel at home. As someone who doesn’t particularly like staying in hotels, I can wholeheartedly say that I was extremely comfortable and excited to come back.

Picked this hotel cause it was the nicest Marriott in Brooklyn within my Gov allowance that also had an M Club. Room was fine, minus bedside lamp issues I had. The bed was ridiculously comfortable! I want one. The M Club is only open for breakfast and not on the weekends. Fine. But other Marriotts that have restrictions on the M Club offer meal vouchers for in-house restaurants (for dinner or any meal on the weekends) or extra points - neither of which were offered here, even when asked. Close to Subway stops and very walkable.

A Nightmare Stay: Broken AC, Hot Room, No Compensation, and Missing Rewards Points My recent experience at NY Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share the extent of my disappointment with fellow travelers. This hotel failed on multiple fronts, including the broken air conditioning, an unbearably hot room, the absence of compensation, and missing rewards points. Let's begin with the broken AC, which turned my stay into a living nightmare. Despite the soaring temperatures outside, the air conditioning in my room was completely non-functional. The room felt like a sweltering oven, making it impossible to find respite or get a good night's sleep. It is inconceivable that a supposedly reputable hotel would neglect such a basic necessity, leaving guests to suffer through suffocating heat. To exacerbate matters, the room itself was unbearably hot, even without the broken AC. The lack of proper ventilation and cooling systems made the situation intolerable. Opening windows or using fans proved futile, as the room remained a stifling sauna. It was an utterly uncomfortable and distressing experience, one that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. Adding insult to injury, the hotel's response to these issues was woefully inadequate. Despite my numerous complaints and requests for a room change, no compensation or alternative accommodations were offered. The staff displayed a shocking lack of empathy, failing to address the problem or provide any semblance of resolution. It felt as if my discomfort and dissatisfaction were of no concern to them, further deepening my frustration and disappointment. In addition to these significant problems, the overall quality of service and cleanliness were subpar. The staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful, and the room and common areas were neglected and unclean. Stained carpets, dusty surfaces, and lack of attention to detail further compounded my disappointment. In summary, my stay was an absolute disaster due to the broken AC, unbearably hot room, lack of compensation, and missing rewards points. The hotel's negligence in providing a basic amenity like air conditioning, coupled with their apathetic response to my concerns, made for an unbearable and unsatisfactory experience. I strongly advise potential guests to seek alternative accommodations, as this hotel fails to deliver on its promises and provides a distressing and disappointing stay.

I give this hotel a strong 3 stars. I had a number of problems with it. Firstly my room had an ice machine right outside the door, this created constant noise all day and night which was not very pleasant. There was an extractor fan in the bathroom which was permanently on and very loud as well. Apart from that the room was nice honestly. The lounge/bar was a good place to spend time doing work however we were made to feel very uncomfortable and even told to leave by the barman when it got to 1700 as apparently 'it is a commercial area and not somewhere for work anymore' as a paying guest of the hotel where the bar/lounge is the only seating area I did not appreciate being told that. Especially as there were plenty of tables and chairs around in the area and no queue to come in or anything. When checking out my bag was stored but there was no room or shower facilities even though I had an evening flight which would have been nice to have been able to shower before needing to leave. Overall a 3 star hotel. Good for business but not the best place. Location wise it is easy to get to Brooklyn bridge and it's a 3km walk into Manhattan. There is a coffee shop next to the bar/lounge which is pricey and often has a queue to be served which can be frustrating. It is also not open for very long leaving a large gap in between the shop closing and the bar opening which is very irritating if you just want a bottle of water or coffee that you are forced to head out to find somewhere externally.

I believe it was Beverly who checked me in on 4/29 and I’m writing this review because of her. I’m a Marriott associate, and she welcomed me as family! I can honestly say in my 15 years travelling as an associate, I’ve never had a warmer welcome! She was informative, cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was clean, spacious with a nice view. The property location was great! The only item I would give feedback on is the pantry hours; it always seemed to be closed.

I’m not a picky person but my first room was dirty (dirty, used towel hanging up and used papers/ pen on the desk) and second room had an army of ants climbing on table and counters. So 3 rooms total for 5 day stay. Super annoying. Desk staff was pretty good about it, bell man was great. Loved the porter who was on when I left.

Rooms were good. Hotel wasn’t accommodating. We reserved rooms with 2 beds and one sofa. They for some reason didn’t give us one with a sofa which we needed because there was one extra person. They made me go floor to floor looking for a room with a sofa. I wasted a hour doing this when this was their job. Didn’t even up getting the one with a sofa and the hotel said too bad.

Marie at the front desk was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite throughout the entire stay. The rooms were a nice size and very clean. The hotel is in a nice location with plenty of things to do in the area.

We visited the hotel in Christmas vacation. We arrived 1:45 pm. We were met by a tough guy who didn’t even bother to smile and said to me: no rooms are available and you have to wait hopefully till 4pm despite the booking and full payments. He gave us a standard room that was ok but the mattress has great volcano crater where I slept and felt like sleeping in a V position bending my back to accommodate the depression in the mattress. The closet was so funny. An open one and too small to accommodate winter clothes for 3 adults. The sink was clogged but the bathroom was great. The view was bad facing a government building with employees viewing your stay. They serve packed meals that may not seem too fresh to me and all meals got eggs in them. Overall experience was good but nothing more. Average hotel but doesn’t deserve more than score of seven and a half

My stay at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge was truly exceptional, and the standout heroes of this remarkable experience were the extraordinary bellmen—Sam, Tony, and Hakim. Their commitment to delivering impeccable service went far beyond the ordinary, creating an atmosphere of genuine warmth and welcome for me, my fellow travelers, and every guest they encountered. Their attention to detail and the personalized touch they added to every interaction left an indelible mark on our stay. From the moment we arrived, Sam, Tony, and Hakim not only assisted with luggage but also served as knowledgeable ambassadors of the local area, offering valuable recommendations and insights. Their dedication to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience extended beyond their official duties, making them the true ambassadors of hospitality. In addition to the outstanding bellmen, Donna and Beverly at the front desk were instrumental in ensuring a seamless check-in. Their efficiency and valuable local insights were invaluable during my business trip. The whole hotel staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Their professionalism and hospitality were evident in every aspect of the stay, creating a cohesive and positive environment. While my room's view may not have boasted iconic landmarks (and I did not know beforehand), the exceptional service provided by the bellmen, front desk team, and the entire hotel staff truly elevated the overall experience. Their consistent efforts to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests showcased a level of dedication that surpassed typical expectations. The hotel's strategic location made exploring Brooklyn's landmarks convenient, and its proximity to the subway system offered easy access to the four boroughs. The diverse array of dining options surrounding the hotel added richness to the overall experience, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. The beds surpassed expectations, providing a rejuvenating experience after a long day of work and exploration. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in the attention to providing a restful night's sleep. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff, with special recognition for the outstanding service provided by the bellmen, front desk, and the entire front desk team. Their consistent efforts to go above and beyond not only for me but for my fellow travelers and other hotel guests have truly made the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge a standout choice in hospitality.

As we make our way around the city looking for venues to host an exciting event, we decided to try out this space near the Brooklyn Bridge in Downtown Brooklyn and it seems as if we have found a great place for the event. Not too far from Manhattan but you still have the feel of the Borough Hall area with its character. So we shall see as we flow through this but so far I would recommend this Marriott location.

Very nice hotel, very big in size too. Near public transportation and hotel has parking available for a fee. Located in downtown Brooklyn near court houses. Hotel is also a good place to hold a conference with many conference rooms available. Staff is friendly. A bit pricey but worth the price.

We booked this hotel for our wedding block and while the accommodations were fine, they were the least flexible, least accommodating and least friendly hotel I have ever worked with. We wanted to give welcome bags to our guests and they charged us $1.50 for each bag (and then only gave them out to a third of our guests). They also were not even slightly helpful about trying to check in early (we understand that it’s not always guaranteed but not helping the groom check in an hour early then required us to check in at 2 am after our wedding). For the price and the brand name we expected a lot more, the customer service here made our wedding day and weekend a lot more stressful than it needed to be.

We arrived around 1030pm. Check in went real smooth. Room was real clean and spacious except there was a half drunken water bottle. Shower was clean. Our tv in the room did not work. We tried calling all night but front desk refused to answer the phone and we were too lazy to go back downstairs. The next morning we were able to get hold of the front desk and they sent someone up to fix it. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed here about 5 times already. Last time July 1-3 was there and get really disappointed with were they are going … Hotel did try to pass their “dog” room off to me!!! And I’m a travel agent who being there before… Room didn’t have a basic need furniture that they normally provide in the type of room I ordered. (Nice round table, soft corner divan and a chair). Room was just “naked” and on top of that did smell horrible, like someone did wear their only pair of shoes for a months… Walked in and immediately did call for the room service. And the stuff did tell me that all that furniture I mentioned is not coming with my type of room… WOW !!! I did get very angry and pushed to get another room same type !!! Guess what - different room did have all the furniture I mentioned and was obviously nice and clean ! Will leave a photo, how it supposed to be below !!! Hopefully management will read this report and make some changes in nearly future… I would give 1 star, but problem was fixed and previous stays were nice. So 3 starts is their real rate as for today !!!

Marie @ front desk is super nice and deserves all the recognition! She's awesome! The rooms are decent enough EXCEPT there is literally no dresser or other place to store folded clothing... Talk about an oversight. The hotel bar also closes way too early.

I have been scrolling through the reviews and am in awe that no one has mentioned the fact that there are zero dressers in any of the rooms in the entire hotel (I spoke with staff to verify). I have stayed in hotels all over the world, including those in developing countries, and never stayed in one where there was no where to put your clothes other than a tiny closet with a few hangers. There is definitely plenty of space to have, what I believe to be, such a common staple in a hotel room. Also, we were told by staff that no buildings in NYC have air conditioning after December 15. I'm sure that's the case, but we also found that interesting, especially if you like to sleep in cooler temps. With the window open throughout the night, it only got down to about 76 degrees F. Not a huge deal, but just good to know. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you have elite status, the lounge serves a good variety of breakfast items until 10am. If you do have work to do, unlike other Marriotts, the lounge completely closes at 10am--also just good to know. Overall, the hotel is decent. The missing dressers have left us scratching our heads, however, and will certainly be something we ask about before booking any reservations next time.

Very nice stay at this Marriot. The entire staff was great. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. This hotel is immaculate , well maintained and in a very safe location . The rooms have been updated and large with high ceilings and large windows. Beautiful big hotel, I really loved the room, it came with a large lounge style sofa and table. I highly recommend the Marriott Brooklyn bridge hotel. Thanks..........

Location was definitely the best thing about this just around the corner from a Subway that was quick to anywhere. About a 15 minute walk to Dumbo. Lots of good eateries like norms Pizza. The staff was very accommodating we couldn't get the AC fixed to our liking or it wouldn't switch to heat but that's okay the beds were comfortable the water was great meaning the water pressure. So we would definitely stay there again

Booked a stay at this hotel for a Sunday night, upon checking in at 1PM I asked to be upgraded to a terrace room and was told by Agnes at the front desk that those rooms are "committed" for today. Went to my room, and went on the Marriott app it still showed the terrace room was available for purchase. Went back to the desk and was told by the same Rep that she can have the room for me but the people in it check out at 4PM. I said I have no issue waiting to check in later as I'm gonna be walking around in the area. 2 Hours into my walking tour of Dumbo I get a call from a manager saying that room was no longer available, not sure how that was possible when I was told that I would be upgraded to the room and could check in at 6PM. While I am enjoying drinks with friends I have to deal with this unpleasant situation. Unacceptable experience, I went back to the hotel and spoke to a manager named Hanna. She offered me points compensation for the error. I declined because the offer wasn't acceptable for being lied to, misled and then essentially kicked out of what I was promised. I cancelled my reservation, moved to the 1 Hotel in Dumbo and had a much better experience there. I am also a Marriott loyalist with Platinum level and multiple personal and business credit cards.

Stayed at this hotel for five nights in February - in town for a wedding. Our stay could have not been better. The room and bathroom were super clean. Everything was in good shape and looks to have been renovated not to long ago. ALL of the staff from the front door to the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast area were so nice and helpful. Also, the hotel is in a great location to get around in Brooklyn and easy access to LaGuardia. Enjoy! We did!

My guest room was incredibly spacious and clean. One of the biggest hotel rooms in New York City that I have ever stayed in! Upon check-in, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. I was amazed at how much space I had in the guest room. The breakfast offering in the M Club Lounge was impressive, with a buffet of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, egg whites with veggies, breakfast potatoes, and more. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a spacious and modern place to stay.

This is the worst 4 star hotel we’ve ever stayed. The carpet is dirty, water pressure is too weak, and room service does not really exist. Room cleaning was missed for some day and we had to call 3 times to finally have bottles of water delivered. Front desk staff is rude and all seem to hate their jobs. Avoid this hotel!

New York Marriot at the Brooklyn Bridge is well managed and very clean. The hotel has excellent staff - they are proactive and very helpful. My family had booked a long stay over Christmas 2021, and we were extremely satisfied with the rooms and the hospitality offered by Marriot and Brooklyn in general. We will definitely be back!

Make sure to use HoteIDully.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! The staff were very kind, respectful, and friendly. Hot breakfast. Quiet place. Gym, roof top, supermarket nearby, city pool(free) across the street(just bring a lock for your belongings), 5-10 minute walk to local shopping area, the Barclay arena, and many places to eat.

Hotel is a little underwhelming for the room costs... The hotel "restaurant" is extremely underwhelming and crazy expensive even for NY convenience prices. Lobby is partially under construction and that doesn't exactly add much to the experience, there were even small shards of glass on the floors in the hallways... . STAFF saved this place 100%... The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and prompt. Housekeeping did an outstanding job in the rooms, front desk was always on the ball, even the day time bell hops were great. I'd stay again simply because of the staff if nothing else...

Room was clean but we heard jackhammer road construction 6 stories down until 12:30am. Not Marriott’s fault except windows were not very sound proof. Club lounge was not open on weekends. Weekdays we had to leave lounge by 10am. Hotel was lacking consistency in their service professionalism. Some excellent, some lackluster.

You may love the Marriott and I am a Bonvoy Member; but they have a policy of charging a destination fee of $25 and then giving you a daily $25 food credit which I find objectionable. My rating of this property is based on poor internet and torn carpet, rooms that are not clean and a lacking of service at the front desk. If possible find another location.

Enjoyed my stay at the Marriott in Brooklyn to watch a Nets game. The hotel is steps from Brooklyn Bridge and close to many restaurants. It reminds me of a business hotel that is quiet over the weekend and the M Lounge is closed on weekends. It's great to walk to most major attractions and the hotel is just a few feet from 2 or 3 subway stops. The staff do a great job and are very friendly. A great overnight stay.

Great updated hotel in the heart of Brooklyn blocks from DUMBO and the Meteotech Center. No room service and a limited, but tasty, bar menu. Gym was a bit dirty but well appointed, no towels provided. Breakfast segregation between elite status and not elite was a bit ridiculous given the lack of specialty food or service, it was the same regardless of what room you were allowed to eat in.

What an excellent location! I was here for a conference and stayed for about 2 days. I was disappointed that you don’t get wifi for free in the hotel except for if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, you get it in some capacity. The views were great from higher floors. Overall a great stay.

The absolutely worst Marriott in NYC! I’ve stayed over 400 nights at Marriott properties and this is by far the worst. I checked in on Saturday night and was talked down to by the Front Desk Manager. David is the absolute worst. While I had some questions about my benefits for being a loyal Marriott customer, he talked down to me and several times raises his voice. I couldn’t believe the behavior he exhibited. I’m not sure if it was because I’m a minority or because I look younger but I was astounded by his behavior. In fact, my benefits guarantee an upgrade to a nicer room. The couple next to me was upgraded for their anniversary but I was denied any and all benefits. They also do not take Covid protocols seriously. The pool was closed because of “Covid” but the front desk person wasn’t wearing a mask. There’s also a shared microwave in the hallway. So we can all share one microwave but not the pool? It all seems very bizarre. I’d avoid this place like you’d avoid Covid.

I took the Brooklyn bound #4 train from the WTC, and attended an Author House Publishing seminar. From what I saw, the hotel is very nice. It has a very eclectic, modern ambiance to it. There's several parks in the vicinity and food trucks as you walk toward Washington Street. That's as far as I could explore on this occasion.

This property is in dismal shape. Our room had multiple maintenance issues. We called about them and were completely ignored. The safe didn’t work, the curtains would not open or close due to being jammed on their track, and the elevator creaked loudly all night long (needed maintenance). The room was filthy upon checkin with dust and dirty mirrors. I have status and none of the normal perks were offered, so there is no benefit staying here as a loyal member. We had some items delivered just prior to our arrival. The front desk refused to take them since we had not checked in yet (same day just a couple hours before check in) so they were left on a table in the lobby. Some items were stolen. The front desk literally laughed about it. This should not be a 4-star hotel as it is run down, not well run, and the restaurant/bar has very limited hours. Horrible property. Horrible service.

Q: Do all employees get to take home food in to-go containers (with silverware) into their bags with breakfast ? Be discreet it about maybe ... -------------------------------------------------------- Location was prime for me: - 3 min walk to subway - 15 min walk to the bridge / Cobble Hill Super friendly staff ... I used points to book this place since there's no way I'm paying $600 per night for this 3 star hotel. There's a school / playground next door to the hotel so don't plan on sleeping late on the weekdays

Had reservations for king size bed, get in room with 2 full size beds, they did credit me 50, and offered to move us to different room but by then we don't want to move....checked out and left my insulin in the refrigerator, never received a call, by the time I realized it I figured they must've thrown it away. I would think once housekeeping clean the fridge they would notify management and say someone left medicine....the cost of medicine is more than money, but oh well I guess they don't go the extra mile for things like that...

Great staff, VERY helpful. A very stressful travel experience with multiple snafus meant that we arrived after midnight, three hours after our expected arrival. Great location, the rooms were clean and large for NYC. The front desk was dismissive we tried checking in around 11am to change and clean up before spending the day in the city, our red eye flight got in about 9am and the front desk was mad that we even asked. We got into the room about 2pm. Thankfully they were able to take our luggage.

Do not recommend. Dated, dingy rooms. TV barely worked, took forever just to pause or change the episode on Netflix. Peeling paint in bathrooms from lack of ventilation. Drain in tub did not drain properly and filled considerably during a shower. Sticky bedside outlets. For the price I paid ($1,400 total for three nights during the second week of December) I at least expected the basic upgrades. Also make sure you are not on the side facing the playground. I was in room 1612 and there was non stop kid noise and screaming coming from an adjacent rooftop playground. I also don't know why they placed a basketball hoop game in the lobby. Trying to check in with kid and basketball noise while trying to avoid being hit with a basketball is ridiculous. They have small revolving doors. The regular doors were locked when I arrived. I had two large bags that made just entering the building extremely difficult. Will be staying elsewhere from now on when I'm in the city.

Quiet, clean, comfortable room. Service from parking to check in courteous and efficient. Friendly. Loses a point for expensive parking $50. Great location very near pedestrian access to Brooklyn Bridge. Easy walk to ferry and trendy Dumbo.

Great hotel especially for the rates, with valet garaged parking offered for $50/day. Location is ideal regarding easy walkable access to countless things to see, do, and experience. Service and staff were fantastic. Wish gym had better hours and pool was open. Rooms are chic and very spacious. General maintenance could be better. TV partially hanging off wall Mount.

Rooms are bigger than expected (couch, desk, table etc). Fairly quiet on the floors, even near elevators. Room was in good shape, seemed clean with some items in our room sealed with plastic too. Doormen helpful, coffee and bagels in lobby. Not in the most interesting location but easy to access. Also! You can absolutely park on the streets around hotel - don’t pay for parking.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any resort. This web site will compare countless hotel sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. Beautiful big hotel, I really loved the room, it came with a large lounge style sofa and table. I highly recommend the Marriott Brooklyn bridge hotel.

Well, no room service? For the price I paid I fully expected room service. No hot tubs? Which is fine as I'm sure they would've been closed like the pool. Just keeping my fingers crossed they have shuttle service to JFK. Will not stay here again. Airbnb from here on out.

Great service. Everyone front desk, housekeeping, the wonderful luggage humans. So nice, caring, helpful. It all worked out great. There were 6 weddings there and a huge graduation. They took care of all.

A perfectly nice 3 star hotel. No business claiming to be 4 star. No room service, dingy, carpets look like installed in 1995, rooms not particularly clean nor well furnished. Would be two star except that the fitness center is large and well equipped - which goes a long way with me.

For the price, I wish they had room service. The food from The Great Restaurant is good. I like the convenience that you have from the parking lot. Expensive parking prices, though. The internet on the TV kept messing up, but we had a spacious room.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't regret it. Very nice rooms. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Enjoyed having a room with lots more space than anything in Manhattan! A cool looking, but still comfortable, leather corner sofa with a small table made it even better. Lots of friendly & helpful staff around. Our son lives nearby, so we’ll definitely be back soon!

Very spacious rooms for NYC standards. Nice and clean. The rooms on the Brooklyn Bridge blvd side are not noisy. Only downside I can think of is that there are no microwaves in rooms. Also no good food options within the hotel itself. Stayed for business travel in Brooklyn.

While there was nothing wrong with the rooms or amenities themselves, this is the most disorganized I've ever seen a hotel. The short story is that they botched the details surrounding my reservation multiple times. Here's the long story: I was in town for a family wedding, and my mother booked the reservation with her credit card in the wedding block for two nights. Because of work, I later found out that I could only attend the second night. So, my mother called to cancel the first night a week beforehand. It took an hour on the phone, but eventually they said they canceled the first night. Upon arriving, they told me that the entire reservation, not just the first night, had been canceled, so they would have to find me another room. Once they got me a room, I checked-in, unloaded my things, and went out. Later that day, I returned to the room, but my keys would not open the door. I went to the front desk who told me that there was no credit card on the reservation so they locked the room (which made no sense: how did they check me in without a credit card?). So, I gave them my credit card this time and they said that security would be up to unlock the door. I went up to the room, waited a few minutes for security, and eventually left because my parents' dog had just got hit by a car so I had more urgent things to worry about. Once I told my father the story, he insisted on going to check the room, and the keys were still not working. So, he went to the front desk who said that security had already been up to unlock it. He told them that the keys were still not working, so they sent security up again, and he went with them this time. Once he confirmed that they had actually unlocked the door this time, he came back to give me the keys. Fast forward a week after we had checked out, the hotel still charged my mother for two nights even though she had canceled the first night and were given a different credit card. My mother had to then find the printed receipt from check out showing a credit for the first night. I've not written a review for anything before in my life, but this stay was so repetitively disorganized that I felt it should be done. I don't think it reflects on any one person at the hotel, nor was anyone unkind to us, but the general processes at the hotel are clearly an issue. I hope they're able to improve their systems and/or processes for the future.

My stay was good. Checkout/in was easy. The room was spacious and clean and functional, excepting only the TV which asked me to log in on my streaming accounts and this is something many hotels do and … it makes sense to an extent except I’d love to just plop down on the bed and watch ESPN or HBO without futzing with apps and passwords. I didn’t mess with amenities like food, drink, or gym. Location is good. Concierges are good. My view of the city was nice. I miss those turndown chocolates hotels used to leave. I wonder how much money they save by abandoning that treat. I’ve been at Dumbo’s Holiday INN, Hilton, and Marriott. These are all fine.

This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure!

Booked a room at the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for a wedding. Due to the sudden rise of Omicron, and the increasing risks, the wedding was canceled. I paid for cancellation protection because I was aware there were risks but my cancellation window closed on December 25th, while we were all doing what we could to enjoy family. I contacted the hotel hours later on the 26th but was denied my refund and charged, literally, 1/2 of the total room costs for 3 days as a ‘penalty’. Not only that, it’s taken 3 weeks to get the hotel to even address my appeal. Be aware, consideration for Acts of God and the health of would-be clientele do not appear a high priority for this hotel. Better you waste your money or risk getting sick. And on a date when they absolutely could have filled the rooms; NYE in New York. Likely they made twice the profit by selling the room to someone else. Profit + profit = more profit, I guess.

I stay at this Marriott often for work trips. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious. The gym is fine and the staff is kind. They also have a pool and a hot tub if you’re into that. Convenient and conveniently located, not a bad choice especially with reward points.

This was our first time staying in Brooklyn and we loved it. Less tourists, more locals. The hotel was great. Michael the doorman was awesome! Thanks for the great food suggestions and classic Brooklyn stories. Room was perfect for just the two of us. The location was super convenient to get to all the places we wanted to go. Will definitely be staying there on our next trip to NY.

Short version. Save your money and go else where. Booked this hotel for two nights. The staff at the front desk/check in were very rude. My original “city view “ ac was broken. We waited 3 hours to get a room replacement. The second room was facing into an office. They refused to move me until I complained to a manager who came in during shift change. The parking lot was “included” but was charged $60 a day for self parking which is hard to maneuver in. Breakfast was $11 a tray for something that can be barely called food. Next time I’ll save the money for a high end hotel and book at a place that cares. Worst experience ever.

Great value, especially if you have a decent deal on points. The staff were helpful and the location is prime for a quick trip to the city. Would definitely recommend staying here again.

Friendly staff, good location, chlorine smell in room, carpets smell (what’s up with all the carpets in hotels in the US!!), phone to reception did not work, tv did not work without being plugged out and in again, humongous reserve on our card, no free internet, breakfast not included, bar good and friendly but expensive. It’s ok, maybe good but I expected more for the price and the 4*.

❤️❤️❤️. Location... Location... Location... We stayed here for my cousin's wedding. I arrived hours earlier than check-in (around 12 a.m.) and decided to walk around the area to see the changes. It's definitely not the same but better than the 20 yrs I have been away. Went to get something to eat. But only 2 places were open nearby 😢😢😢. Went back to the hotel, and they let me sit in the lobby upstairs to eat because I was so cold. Then, the front desk concierge Marcia (was the best) came over to talk to me. She said, "She and her manager would do an audit and see if they can get me in a room early. By 3am she came and told me they could 🎉. Thank you, Marcia and manager. Thank you to the gentleman at the bistro/coffee shop inside the hotel, the Irish doorman, the very handsome security guard that came over to check that I wasn't loitering. We will definitely be coming back.

Staying at the Brooklyn Marriott in essence was decent but the customer service is lackluster at best. I haven’t been home to NYC in awhile due to being in the military so my wife and I and our friends took some time out to visit NYC for the holidays. We stayed at the Brooklyn Marriott and it really left a lot to be desired. THEY made a mistake and checked in the WRONG Kevin Smith. I get it..what are the odds two people with the same name would be at the same hotel — also, they could’ve easily paid better attention. Their remedy to the situation was to charge us for the incorrect room AND the correct room therefore creating quite the hold on my card. Not fun at all during the holidays + a trip. Here we are upward of 10 days later and I’m still waiting for a refund. It’s as if *I* owe THEM money. Initially Jeff tried to help but on Thursday he spoke with my wife and suddenly had amnesia on the situation and who the Smith party was despite Jeff being the one who started this whole mixup. Additionally Maria/Marie was extremely rude to both my wife and I when we initially wanted to find out about all these charges on my card. This was physically at the Marriott in which she was rude to us. But no worries, Tuesday morning, bright and early, (because I am going to allow them one more day), I will simply dispute the additional $500 charge on my bill. Happy Holidays and don’t stay at the Brooklyn Marriott !

It's a nice place if we're being honest. I've been there a couple of times. Presently I don't use timeshare anymore because it wasn't worth it for me. I ended up exiting, thanks to Travis for helping me with that. Reach out to timesharesolutions at proton . me for issues related to your timeshare.

I just arrived after a long day of traveling for work & when I finally arrived.. My reservations appeared to be at the wrong place an hour away. Shannon at the front counter went way above and beyond for me; Not only facilitating a lengthy phone call on my behalf to fix it with my employer.. She kept me quite entertained while assisting others. Single-handedly, she turned my otherwise tedious evening into a great one & I can’t wait to explore the city. You have yourselves a keeper.
