My
partner
and
I
stayed
for
1
week
in
room
201.
Take
from
this
what
you
will.
Pros:
-
Good
location
for
those
wanting
to
stay
in
Brooklyn
-
Affordable
nightly
rate
-
Free
wifi,
bed,
bathroom
Cons:
-
Comically
small
room
(open
the
door
and
there
is
a
1.5
inch
clearance
between
the
bed
and
the
door)
-
Limited
amenities
(one
pillow,
one
towel
for
double
room
with
2
people.
The
staff
had
to
take
a
pillow
from
another
room
to
provide
us
with
a
second)
-
EXTREMELY
thin
walls
(if
a
guest
was
having
a
quiet
conversation
with
someone
in
the
room
next
door,
you
could
hear
all
of
it)
-
Smoke
from
other
rooms
(despite
numerous
signs
and
warnings
around
the
property
advising
guests
not
to
smoke
on
penalty
of
fines
and
forcible
removal,
the
smell
of
cigarettes
was
everywhere.
The
aforementioned
thin
walls
did
not
help
to
keep
the
smell
out
of
the
room,
either)
-
Poor
lighting
(if
you
have
bad
eyesight,
this
is
not
the
room
for
you.
The
single
light
in
the
bathroom
was
so
dim
it
was
laughable.
Luckily
there
is
a
window,
so
you
can
have
a
bit
of
natural
light
whilst
flashing
people
as
you
take
a
shower)
-
Screaming
guests
(fun
twist,
it
was
a
different
person
every
day.
Also,
on
one
occasion,
the
cops
were
called.
Not
by
the
hotel
staff,
but
by
other
concerned
hotel
guests.
Super
fun)
-
Unreliable
hot
water
(ironically,
this
was
the
last
straw.
It
sorted
itself
out
by
the
second
day,
but
we
would
have
left
without
hesitation
if
the
issue
continued)
-
Other
fun
details
--
broken
electrical
outlets,
holes
in
drywall,
damaged
furniture,
cigarette
burns
on
duvet
and
cabinetry,
shower
mold,
a
TV
with
no
remote
and
a
past
due
DirecTV
subscription.
Conclusion:
This
is
not
a
hotel
I
would
recommend
staying
in,
unless
you
enjoy
the
aforementioned
details.
