Awesome hotel! Super friendly staff, great location, good rooms with nice bathtubs, and also the breakfast was very good for the price. The bedroom looks new and modern, we also got one with a nice view over the buildings of Manhattan as we requested! It's super close to the nearest subway station so that was super convenient. Some people say the district doesn't feel safe. I don't really agree, we never got any problem on our way to the hotel. I would definitely go back to the hotel for my next trip in NYC.

I recommend the hotel to everyone, the location is not even 10 minutes from subway line F, 4 stops from times square. the rooms are brand new, air-conditioned, the windows can be opened. we had a room on the 9th floor, so the view was also beautiful, although it was somewhat obscured by the factory located opposite the hotel. The breakfast included in the price was fine, all packaged products and semi-finished products / but that is logical, since the hotel does not have a kitchen.

The lobby was clean upon entry and the street parking was plentiful. Something the website doesn't tell you is that on-site parking is $35 a night. The room was neat and tidy it smelled very lovely when you open the door not very much on TV but at least the beds were comfortable because that's what your going for. The water pressure was wonderful as well overall I had a good rest

Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely hotel to come back to after a long and tiring day exploring NYC. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are really clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The nearest subway station is only a short walk away with direct services on the F line into central Manhattan which was very convenient. Very reasonable prices and when we return to NYC we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Thank you for a lovely 5 days.

The rooms are small, the view from the room is okay. The room has a microwave and a fridge and TV. The location of the hotel is great in terms of connectivity with Manhattan (two stations nearby at walking distance and also connected by bus, Q69 and Q102). Kitchen staff is very kind and gentle, (they serve complimentary coffee the entire day!) The breakfast buffet is included but its not elaborate, also try to go early as there are very few tables in the dining area! The reception staff are not cooperative, the cleaning of the room was not done even once in our 4 nights stay although we reminded them multiple times!! Overall, the stay was fine but could have been better if the staff heard us!

Even though it’s a 2 star hotel, but this hotel provided us with everything needed. Did you know there was even a shuttle bus from 21 St Queensbridge station that brings you to the hotel so you don’t have to walk for 10 minutes? We didn’t know so on the first day we took a cab with our luggage from the airport. Did not feel unsafe walking the streets at night in the neighbourhood, or you can take the free shuttle. We loved the free breakfast, seats were cramped like a canteen style but the spread was decent. The rooms were small, had heating, a shower tub and basic amenities. They didn’t make our room for the 4 nights we were there, I think you have to inform the receptionist. Overall highly recommended to stay here or to check out the other La Quinta locations in the city.

Everyone who worked the front desk was lovely and so helpful. You have to let them know if you want your room cleaned, but the process is super easy. They also offer breakfast (nothing to write home about). You are about half a mile from a subway stop, so it is not the most convenient location. My husband and I also felt a little unsafe walking back at night because the hotel is in a more industrial area so there are not a lot of people around. For the price and the cleanliness, I totally recommend the hotel to anyone who is up for a walk.

This place was the best stay of my trip to Big apple. It was in the budget and the staff made it felt like home. They are running the place so clean which is ofcourse hard to find in New York. I loved the effortless checkin and the hospitality. They offered us an upgrade too. The transparent and honest staff offered us mini breakfast even after we skipped the breakfast timing. With all the hectic day, I waited to head back to this hotel since it was such a cozy place. Very kind and highly recommended to all of you want a great experience and want the hotel least of your worry in all the bookings. Shout out to the kind front desk and big smiles as I leave New York.

Nice hotel placed near very good metro station perfect to ever important place to see in NYC. Breakfast are ok but very crowded. They clean rooms only on demand, same for towels or toilet paper... I had problem with higher price than was originally in booking reservation and blocked $ on my visa card at the day I left. So watch out, but everything was returned. Staff is very helpful and kind.

I’ve stayed a couple of times, and I’ve had excellent experiences. Very courteous staff, even remembered me when I came back. Clean rooms, and a nice (if small) fitness center. One of the best free breakfasts you’ll find. Location isn’t the greatest, but even then they offer a shuttle if you don’t want to walk to/from the station.

Good connectivity to Manhattan, affordable price, clean and with breakfast well served. The location is a bit industrial but they offer a shuttle service to the metro station during the afternoons and until midnight. Water pressure was great, bathroom was clean. It was a good stay

The best hotel in NYC. Worth the price; the breakfast is great and the rooms are super clean. The hotel smells amazing. The staff is so friendly, professional and nice; they are always helpful and smiley. I spent in this hotel about three weeks and It diffidently will be our hotel whenever we are in the city. The hotel is on a walking distance from the SUB station. Above all that, the manger is a very nice person; so helpful, so professional and very respectful person. I loved my stay in this hotel. Thank you so much for the wonderful hosting and for making our stay far away from the family easier.

Both rooms were horrible. The first room, the toilet handle was broken. I put the towel on the towel ring and the whole ring fell off. The water for the shower didnt get hot. The bolt lock for the door wasnt fastened into the wall securely and looked as if it was about to come off. There was a smell in the room and the air conditioner did not work and it's summertime, so of course we were switched to another room. In the second room, the remote had no back to where the batteries were, the bathroom ceiling had a lot of black mold on the ceiling and wall above the shower. There were cracks and holes in the wall and/or wall paper. The hotel itself is rundown. The rooms do not have face towels, they look dirty with the chairs in both rooms being stained, the walls in the room and bathroom are stained. This felt unsanitary and uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel, very clean, walking distance to F train, but not a single staff member masked up while working at the hotel.

We had a room with two queen beds. It was clean and spacious. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was fine. It was a short walk to the subway station, and on some nights there was a shuttle starting at 5pm. It was only two stops from Manhattan. The area surrounding the hotel wasn't the most appealing neighborhood, but I had no concerns for our safety walking to or from the subway.

I recently lost a loved one and before going back to an empty home to attempt to adjust to my new normal, I decided to stay a couple nights in neutral territory to clear my head and thoughts. The team here could not possibly have been nicer. It's been a difficult period for me, but they made it much easier. The staff is incredible.

Front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating! Arrived at the hotel around noon and was able to check in before 3pm (we lucked out!) On the day of check out (12pm), our flight wasn't until evening so they kept our luggages and we were able to go explore the area one last time before leaving. We also had food with us and they were able to keep the food in their fridge, which was nice of them. The hotel also provides a shuttle service that goes to the 21st-queensbridge metro station (hours are 5pm to 1am and normally picks up/drop off near subway restaurant or Dunkin donuts). *Would recommend taking the shuttle at night* Rooms/bathrooms are clean but small (but that's expected of NYC). Overall, solid experience for the price and would recommend if you don't want to live right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of times square. Thank you la quinta!

My wife and I have traveled extensively over the past 30 years. Rarely have we encountered the pleasant, professional and personalized service as demonstrated by Dean and Alex at this LaQuinta Hotel location in Long Island City. Our stay was welcoming and comfortable in every sense. Congrats to Dean and Alex and their motivated support staff at this Hotel. Best to All Robert and Mutsuko

The staff were courteous, friendly and the room we're at is clean and it's quiet. If they had another room available for us we would have extended our stay. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant.

What more can you ask for the price was one of the lowest yes it's not manhatten but clean tidy 24/7 coffee available breakfast in the morning available which was plentiful to start the day off. Hot waffles omelette sausages pastries etc staff was friendly even the manager had a.laugh with us. We had no hot water at 5am for a shower think I needed to run ot longer as it was so early but didn't worry me. Had a microwave in room perfect to heat up a snack and s fridge too. Rooms not massive but your not in them long enough. The area around the hotel doesn't look much but the metro is near enough I felt safe walking around and went to the local shops and garage at 5am too. They have a shuttle bus from 5pm to 1am that was a godsend when feet kill. They sell bottle water too sand is reasonable so grab one as its expensive in Manhatten
